hey everyone it's KO and today we are back playing some more pow world I am so excited about this video today because I'm actually going to be building a metal and stone base so far in the game I've actually not really worked with any metal structure I've used a little bit of stone but for the most part I've been using wood structures up until this point I have videos up on my channel both of the exterior of my wooden base and the interior so if you haven't checked those out I'll have those linked down in the description but today I kind of wanted to prove to myself and also prove to y'all that you can have a metal base that still fits the Cozy and aesthetic vibe that I'm personally going for on my base so let's go ahead and jump right into it going into this build I actually have zero plans and sometimes that turns out really good but sometimes it turns out really really bad so I'm just going to start placing some stone foundation and this is for two different reasons number one I just don't want the entire thing to be metal I know that I want the walls to be metal but I think if I had metal floors and metal walls it would all just be a little bit too much but also I want to make sure that I have enough resources I think that I finally gathered enough iron to do this but I don't want to waste it on the floors if I don't have to and then not have enough everything else that I'm doing so I've just kind of built a basic Foundation structure not a perfect rectangle but kind of a square with a rectangle stemming off of it and I'm just going to kind of see where this goes now I do also like the idea of having kind of a porch area I don't know how big I would want that to be but I think I need to figure out the walls and the roof and all of that first because if the roof doesn't work the rest of everything is also not going to work like if I can't get a roof and that is always my biggest problem so basically I just need to not get ahead of myself I did want to see just what the ivy was going to look like on the outside of these metal walls and I think this is going to be one of the main details that we need to use to make everything feel a little bit more cozy I don't know I just think using the ivy is really going to help break up that metal texture I don't hate the look of the metal but it just gets to be a lot I have decided that I want to have some version of a second floor I know that I don't want it to go over the entire base and then I also think it would be pretty cool if I had that second floor kind of extend outside I also like playing around with this building a little bit because you can build pretty far out without anything supporting underneath I think it looks a little bit silly sometimes but I do think it's nice that they give you that that option I will need to figure out something to put next to it or underneath it just so it makes sense that there's just this floating floor right here but that's an issue for me in just a little bit so I'm thinking I could just have this tiny second level and then a door that leads you to that outside porch my issue now is I don't know if I want the full building to be two stories or if I can make it work where half of the building is a single story and the second half is two stories that would be my preference but we're just going to have to wait and see if I can figure out how to make the roof work because once again the roof is going to be my Nemesis this is just personal preference but I am going to be using the wooden slanted roof for this build I just wanted a little bit of a different color for the roof if your base catches on fire at least only my roof would be impact Ed and I'm okay with that if you don't want to risk that at all you can do a metal or stone roof it will all work it's going to be beautiful I still have to do this thing every time I place Roofing down where I have to build from the ground build a roof up the wall then place the roof on the second tier like I know if I point my cursor just right I can get it to place without doing this but a lot of times I just don't want to deal with it so this works for me and then you can just destroy it after no big deal I also like being able to climb up the roof here and just see what I'm working with at a different level I think it works so now I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to make this work and how I'm going to fill these gaps without having wall right here and I think sometimes with the building that I've played around with a little bit sometimes you can create a wall and then place a roof piece or something else and when you destroy the wall underneath it stays so that's what I'm going to try to do now I'm just kind of messing around with okay where can I place a roof piece and then where can I delete and everything still stays intact I think on the top of this bigger section of the build it's going to make sense for me to do a couple of flat pieces of roofing but I do think I'm going to have to extend the base out for it to make sense okay so it looks like once I place that flat roof piece I can remove the walls and the upper angled Roofing piece stays no problems but if I just have the angled roof and then I destroy everything it won't stay so yes I'm going to have to extend the base back one so I can have that flat roof piece to then support that angled piece that's above it hopefully that's making sense I finally have it figured out I extended the back of the base I got the angled roof pieces to work and now I'm actually changing these top pieces to metal just to match these angled pieces that are right next to it but this is going to work I think I figured out the Mechanics for this roof which is really really nice it's super basic typically my base exteriors are just basic because look I'm not an architect but I'm just going to keep filling in these other pieces they're going to be exactly the same so angled piece flat roof flat roof angled and I'm just going to do that all the way down until I've filled up the entire Roof then I can just easily go into the side fill it with a couple wall pieces and the exterior is completely done now I don't plan on doing anything else really on the interior today but I do think a lot of what's going to make this build feel Cozier is all of the added stuff on the outside so that's where I'm going to really focus I decided to add some more of the stone porch right in front and then I'm just going to put a rug here and I'm going to start placing down some different plants probably some crates I think adding in some wooden tones where I can is just going to give everything a little bit more life so that's kind of my goal right now I love these plants so much and you're really going to see that because I use them everywhere and I have used them everywhere in every single build but this is me formally requesting that pow World add some more plants in a future update because I just need some other stuff to work with there's only so many times that I can place these same plants I have the porch here and I can't decide if I want to put down these benches as a railing or not number one they don't really fit perfectly and number two I think it might just be annoying and they'll kind of be in the way so I thought maybe I would put them but I don't think I'm going to this Fountain I've been wanting to use it but it takes 100 iron ingots which is just insane but I really want to use it in this build okay I think I figured out what I'm going to do with this side porch piece and I'm actually just going to raise a foundation underneath it and then it'll look like it's supported from the center I like this idea I just need to try to figure out the placement of it and then I can just have some stairs leading up I think this is going to look really good okay I have the side porch Foundation situation figured out but now I hate where the fountain is so I think I'm actually going to make the fountain the centerpiece over here on the side okay yes I like this so much better the amount of times I've destroyed stuff and then been weighed down by everything in my pockets today so much thank goodness for the grappling hook to drag me over to the crates because without that it would be so frustrating also when I'm building I typically get rid of all of my pals but I do have to have that one pal who is keeping all the food cold I don't want all my food to spoil so y'all are just going to have to ignore Brutus I have decided to add some railings up here I'm going to add them all the way around the edge they're not going to line up perfectly but I will show you what I do to fix that so as you can see right here in the corner the benches are not going to fit so I'm just going to add crates barrels plants just a big cluster of stuff right here and no one will ever know that I did all of that because my railings didn't fit perfectly I did also go ahead and grab Anubis because I placed so many different items and he can build everything in like 2 seconds I have have all the benches placed so now I'm just going around and I'm going to put Plants all over here I just don't feel like any of the areas that I work on are finished until I've added the plants okay it's not too much but I do have some plants I feel like this corner really came together and again it just kind of hides that weird Gap right there and it still looks intentional I am trying to find ways to incorporate my work benches and just some of my more functional items into my builds so I am going to put a workbench right here I actually may decide to make the entire inside of this base functional rather than decorative because I've already decorated my other one so just let me know if that's something that you want to see in the future I've moved back over here to the front because I only added stuff on the left side of the door initially and now I just want to add some more stuff to the right side I actually really love the look of this cloth covered container I've never used used it before but the colors of it are perfect now of course we're just adding some more plants and I think things are starting to really come together I'm going around and I'm going to add some more Ivy along the walls especially on the areas where there are two stories of this build I think those are the spots that it really needs to be broken up the most I also like to layer The Ivy pieces and then I go through and I take the small wall Ivy and I mix those in too because they're actually a lighter green and I think it just adds a little bit more Dimension to those bigger pieces okay I think for now the IV is done I could sit here forever and just add this stuff all over I'm also not going to add any to the back or the other side right now but I think the front looks pretty good I'm going in here and I'm just adding a couple more decorations to the front I thought these wall shelves could look cute right in front of these two main Windows it doesn't really make makes sense to have these here but they kind of give the same vibe that like a window planter box would give except they don't have flowers so they're not really that Vibe but I think it still looks cute right I've never used this iron shelf before either but I really like this I think it fits perfectly on the wall right here and then just adding some IV behind it I really like this item a lot I really really badly want to use the flower beds but I just don't have the materials to do it so I'm going to have to add some of those in later just know that if I had enough cement I would be adding these flower beds in I have no idea what just happened but I was playing around with putting some wooden foundation down but for some reason placing all of that wooden foundation destroyed all of the benches that I had placed up here on my porch I have no idea not even all of them like I don't know how these things were linked or what these had to do with those so now I get to go and rebuild all of that again okay got that back now I do think adding a couple benches down here by the fountain could be nice not only as a railing but it also could technically be just seating for this Fountain area okay I really like those right there I think that looks good I am just going to quickly add this Crusher over here to the side again like I said I'm trying to add just some more functional items around I don't know if this will stay here but just something else that I can quickly put right here and then last but not least I am going to put just a tiny elevated kind of a little Bridge area right in front okay with that we have our completed cozy and aesthetic metal base I love the way that this turned out I definitely feel like it's still giving that cozy and cute vibe that I was going for but it's still going to be safe it is going to protect you against any fire raids or fire incidents that go on on your base I obviously haven't done the inside yet but I did want to go ahead and show you what it looks like just a super simple pretty open space but I'm really really happy with how the outside turned out I hope youall enjoyed this video if you did I'd appreciate if you'd like And subscribe and I'll see in the next one bye
