through a randomized but sort of not randomized series of challenges where you flick through and we pick a game at random and then i will look on the cex website uh international viewers cex is a game trading shop we have here in the uk um and i will find it like game stop in america i think it's like gangster yeah i saw a few people in the chat beforehand were like saying yeah you'd get 20 pence for that or 20 cents for that game stop so i think similarly gamestop is legendary for very very low trading values cx i'm prepared to be furious they're willing to offer me for some of these games goodness of a game in its pricing it merely reflects the the rarity the preciousness of uh the preciousness the premium nature preciousness exactly so that's what that's what these prices will be collection and andy will say stop yes and then jane will pick a game that her finger has come to rest on and she will have to tell us what it is and then we'll find out if it's valuable or if it's just trash garbage okay great and then we'll alternate right and then we're gonna get like i'm gonna get a sample a scientific sample of like 10 games from each collection and that will be a representative sample of the preciousness the average preciousness of our disc collection yeah precisely right so from a scientific perspective james this is uh it is a yes a representative representative sample uh within statistical allowable yeah whatever errors yeah okay sorry that's added science to me fancy yeah yeah yeah right okay okay so i'm gonna flip through you're gonna tell think this has got to be worth it's quite old but it is very good and also it's iconic it's a piece of gaming history it is i'm gonna say four pal four of your pounds four pounds four pounds four inches for dark souls jane let me tell you that if you went into cex and i said please sir buy my dark soul you slapped down the dark souls on the box and you said here's my xbox 360 copy of dark souls buy it for four pounds yes you would be laughed out of the show that is dreadful that's horrible yeah one common as this is gaming history this is where it all began this is outrageous you're explaining this jane to cex security as they remove you from the building oh man sir and now william kruger is insulting me in the super chats oh he's just being rude william that's uncalled for this white with like that kind of black area on the bottom it's a copy that's been provided for andy to play for review purposes and obviously we will not be actually selling it that would be bad and weird and wrong well you can't it says on it not for uh not for reason we won't be reselling that you'd be shot on site by the cex star cex security you've got such problems with us all right they've erected a moat a perimeter moat with with barbed wire and sandbags to keep the likes of us away and they were right to do it okay i'm gonna guess yes yeah that is it's very old six sixty pence eleven years old sixty pence uh well andy let me tell you give me the bag usually well here's the thing i actually i don't think cex even lists the xbox 360 version they only have the ps3 version okay but the ps3 version they will take off your hands for again one pound oh wow you're saying it's as good as dark souls it's good it's as good as dark souls empirically you've gone wrong yep and you know what if you want to buy it wrong cex just cost four pounds get yourself down to cex wow okay so we're we're neck and neck at the moment okay all right i thought for sure dark souls would be worth more of argument for rayman legends raymond's legends how much do you think i should give you for rayman legends well obviously honestly 2013 pounds but realistically i'm gonna say one pound sixty pence given recent events the current circumstances given the given the economic climate yes because it's got um it's got that music bit where it goes whoa black belly adam it gives me no pleasure to tell you that you have grossly undervalued your rayman legends dis watch this rayman legends undervalued undervalued it i would be happy to give you four pounds for that copy of rayman legends on xbox 360. uh it was it had a sense of humor and was fun unlike quite a lot of battlefield games sure and it was like it was like a cool sort of like uh 80s vietnam movie and everyone was all like palling around and having a good multiplayer like the the levels were like little and manageable and it was a simpler time it was a simpler age now surely destructibility 2000 and 2010. wow surely the nostalgia factor of the best battlefield game battlefield bad company that really got to bump the price up and and you would you would say it's the best battlefield game you'd easily you'd take your reputation on that straightaway yeah absolutely i mean let's not get into metacritic scores or anything that's uh well andy i have the price here 10 pence what 10 pence oh my heart 10 10 pence the plastic the plastic and metal is worth more than 10 pence wait exactly that's why cx is doing your favor taking that worthless disc off your hands uh we balanced the audio levels before we started the stream and it was all in vain 10 10 pence is generous oh my god do you know what that must be it was it was such a great game and they made so many so many of them that they're just they're everywhere like not more than dark souls how was rayman legends worth 40 times battlefield bad company too you get 40 times as much game that rama is what i would say to that yeah yeah so look give me the game here's your 10 pence now be on your way and you'll like it you can't buy anything with 10 pence you can't even alfredo they're not even 10 i'll tell you what i'll tell you what you can't buy is battlefield bad company 2 which can be purchased one pound so so you could if you and 10 friends got together you could each have a tenth of a battlefield and if you each traded in your copy of battlefield bad company two you could as a group buy back one copy tens of hours of gameplay a freddo you eat in a second i can't believe what i'm hearing okay this is quite this is quite has the planet's gone bad looking at the box art now on cex includes demo of metal gear rising there is a big asterisk that's got to bump the value up there is a big asterix on the cex page that says no demo oh so obviously you don't get the demo if you're buying it from from cex i guess so uh they will take it off your hands jane okay for two pounds okay that's pretty good that's pretty good i'll take that of course i was thinking of ender's game not zone of the year which is a completely different thing with rogue it's also got robots in it though right uh yes a lot of people in the chat jane asking why when you have blank sleeves you've still got doubled up discs what a great question and i am only too happy to answer you the chat um okay jane just drops out of you the way it was jane has left the chat to be a page for like there's like five pages for a two pages for b five pages for c i don't know whatever something like that right and when i add a new game to it i don't want to like then have to shuffle everything forward do you know what i mean you have to like you can't insert any pages so i don't know what jane i don't know but in the middle don't be like i'm crazy andy these are all completely at random every time i want to get a game i have to flip through every single page and that's the way that it is alphabetical no it's not alphabetical the first game in here literally the first game is ninja gaiden why would that be it's like i don't know you at all what you're seriously telling me that you took all your games took them out of their boxes through the boxes in the street recycled the processes responsible for the boxes responsibly dip them into the ocean and then just randomly put juice jam them into a dolphin yeah you you didn't alphabetize them hang on time actually now i probably do have time to ask i don't know what's real anymore is yours actually alphabetized yes so wait hang on that's why zone of the enders was on the last page where there were a few empty slots after it jane i'm on your side and i want you to know that but i'm i'm have to speak for the viewer okay and they will want to know why you how how do you hold simultaneously the two states of being a invested enough to alphabetize them and b not so invested that you won't scratch them all up by ramming two in the same sleeve because i contain multitudes luke right i have no idea how i hold this andy oh dear you've really fluffed it you're going to be i mean come on it's funny you're not buying the gold edition there i mean that's only a few years old right and it's a it's a quality game well reviewed well well andy i'm not going to mince my words here um i am surprised to say that cex will buy your copy of resident evil biohazard on xbox one for five pounds yes yes that's right back in the game immediately back in the game immediately back in the game with that high value disc yeah high value five pounds right right in the here yeah yeah so i'm now on i'm on six pounds and jane is on seven so she's still ahead catching up though leaps and bounds catching up okay okay five pounds all right glorious pounds wow okay all right fine i'm adding zone of the enders to my fat stack hang on and here we go ready uh bling bling bling you've got xbox one games in there as well right no only 360 games andy i have an oh okay folder for my xbox one games well i didn't know but so deter thieves to deter thieves they might take this instead and i hide the xbox one folder okay there's not many xbox one games in here because i get them digitally now two three four one two three uh one this one okay what is it it is assassin's creed 4 black flag oh that's a good game that's a good game game ellen was just playing it like an hour ago everyone's saying i should be disqualified for having an xbox one game no what do you think what do you think should we here's the here's the thing you have to bear in mind yeah is that one andy is already like the underdog in this situation it's true it's true it's basically jane's fault because she you know she chose my assumption she chose it randomly assumption yeah she was the one who she she said stop and then she said a number i did it to myself it's a roll of the dice it's a roll of the dice i've mugged myself okay so this is a delicious xbox 360 copy of the assassin's creed black flag because obviously it came out on both platform on both consoles both generations excellent excellent game experience excellent condition but is it worth any money is it this question jane are we talking about the skull edition are we talking about the buccaneer edition come on this is disc one okay so okay no that's good that is helpful of the normal edition of the regular edition in fact it's it's a review copy so obviously i can't sell it um but let's put let's say it would be just the plain garden variety vanilla edition of the game that didn't come with a giant pirate ship statue or anything else and shall we make the extremely bold assumption that cex would buy this when you've only got half the game i've probably got i've probably got the other let me check see if you can see if you can find it now otherwise i might start knocking i mean it would be very difficult you'd have to half the price well i mean jane it should be easy enough for you to find because it should be the next disc along in your alphabetized to be fair that would have taken me about 12 minutes yeah well i assume i put disc two in a different folder in a different room in my opinion could be in the other folder to be fair there we go this come on too okay all right how much how much do you reckon jane um oh okay for both discs on xbox 360. obviously it'd be complete trash if there was only one disc because you need both of them yeah um uh i'm going to say three pounds twenty pence three pounds twenty wow that is optimistic it's two discs andy think of the plastic but it's one game it's a great game i think you're i think you're living in dreamland it's your favorite assassin's creed game why are you roasting it i'm just saying why are you talking smack on your favorite assassin's creed game you're living in dreamland jane i'm living in the real world andy and in the real world assassin's creed black flag is a brilliant game i'm the conductor and i'm ready to stamp your ticket to dreamland because i will only buy that for
