everyone's new favorite video game Power is at risk of being sued and cancelled Nintendo is investigating and promise to take action if necessary but here's four reasons why Nintendo probably won't Sue Power number one it's too popular with the reputation that it's Pokemon I mean Pals love the second amendment power has sold over 12 million copies on Steam and has over 7 million players on Xbox Nintendo is notoriously litigious but this could give them more bad PR than shutting down a Smash Brothers Turney number two American IP law if Nintendo Su will have to decide which country to do it in and in the US we have IP laws that can make it very difficult for Nintendo to win sounds like freedom to me number three they may be too different Power has mechanics that Pokemon never introduced in over 30 years of game development this alone could make a judge side against Nintendo number four how many Pals really look like Pokémon while some yes bear a striking resemblance Nintendo doesn't have the rights to the abstract idea of a leaf monkey and just a handful of Pals have this resemblance so it may not be enough to convince a judge
