We react to SONIC Game Grumps Animations!

hello everybody welcome to another beautiful compilation reaction video good day this is exciting it is exciting we're going to be doing uh sonic animations today all the game grumps animated that we've done that have been about sonic that animators have done about a bit about sonic holy [ __ ] i might can i curse if it's the first minute then no did it okay beep that out and blur my face cool thank you thank you in advance all right let's roll into the first one into it and with these coupons for craft cheese oh god i can't go wrong i did a lot of [ __ ] craft macaroni and ramen noodles in my 20s oh bro i had a super mac phase a mac and cheek yeah a mac and cheap phase yeah okay good um yeah me too it lasted from the ages of 12 to 23. it lasted from when i was born to right now yeah to almost eight minutes ago who does not love a good mac and cheese everybody loves mac and cheese chicken alfredo mac and cheese [ __ ] lasagna mac and cheese with some meat in it it's all mac and cheese dude rigatoni well that's just a noodle but if you put cheese on it then it becomes mac and cheese do you see where i'm going with this hey billy what was your favorite game grumps episode i really liked the one where i talked wow that's where it started hey billy you going in for your surgery today yeah i hope it goes well oh my god it's so dark yeah man that was that was the beginning of hey billy which episode of game guys did you like and then billy responds i like the one where they talk about blank for a long time gee whiz of course it started with a sonic game yeah they still use it in the comments man whenever whenever we go off about something i think that was our dad and eric thought about monopoly for a long time yeah and i mean we go off on uh things constantly in this show it's just non-stop because we don't realize until 20 minutes in that oh god we've been talking about this for a long a long period of our lives long time yeah and by then it's too late it's too late to pull the airplane out of that tailspin but that's a cool one that that one um it's weird because the it's all purples and pinks it's all very monochromatic but it feels like i can see the colors does that make sense i know i'm wearing a tie-dye shirt when i say that so it probably comes across very hippie-ish but i can smell the taste dude that's just good artistry man that's good good animating that's good storyboarding a little a little fun fact that uh that cartoon was done by um the the same duo that did the poker wrap the uh music video that is why it looked familiar they're good thank you they're good let's roll into the next one okay do it do it dude get it get it like it want it have it need it why why oh boy it's right here it's right froggy it's right here it's right here you can see it you can smell it you can taste it it's real it's in front of your face you can get it oh grab it grab it is that a hit it's right here come on come on froggy yeah you want it no he oh my god he feels this always froggy why dude oh my god he is really fighting you come on dude you didn't do anything differently to catch him no okay okay nothing it's completely random sorry i didn't mean to upset you you're right there oh my god oh my god thank you that was my victory very clever to replace a controller with fishing pole to create world building in the animation i do love how uh pivots always makes me a a horrifying like sludge monster yeah yeah i love it it's that's a great one there's um that whole experience with you trying to catch froggy it always comes back to my mind as one of the funniest things that's ever happened to us uh in all the years we've done this show cause i remember there was a point where it was very funny and then it reached a point where it was not funny and then it got funny again because i remember leaving the room and going to grab food and i came back i guess i guess you were trying to do it sort of off camera and i remember coming back into the room and saying how's it going aaron and you looked up at me like this with just like like a stare of blank hatred i guess is the only way i could put it just so much exhaustion it was exhausting but you know what i remember after we finished that episode and i caught froggy and everything was fine i i was like that was a good one yeah that was a good one i'm i'm very excited to release that one so it was like it was a nice it was a nice release you know like once it was done yeah and just hearing that [Music] music in the background will always crack me up let's watch the next one okay also knuckles has fingers oh my god you're playing okay god you're so fast there's like no [ __ ] animation for anything [ __ ] wow wow and apparently my spin is uh like a ribbon around what is that i feel like we're beta testing right now oh my god this is like alpha dude this is crazy this looks like it was made like early ps2 era this looks like it was made five days ago it probably would yeah yeah they were like we gotta ship it it goes out tomorrow they're like but i'm not done with the graphics yet all i have is a picture of a hedgehog on a piece of paper like a pencil drawing ah good old game running at 10 fps uh that's nice oh good old platform spawning out of nowhere oh my god i didn't i didn't think wow that was that was this is not a finished game yeah seriously and we're only eight seconds in el said legend oh man that was that's fantastic i love the the office part that's great yeah that that had to be sonic boom right was it sonic boom i think so i think so um wow yeah cause i remember if it wasn't our reaction to it was very much like the reaction to sonic boom where we were just we almost couldn't talk because we were so shocked at um what a what an astonishing [ __ ] show it was right out the gate it was i mean we released that whole video on grump out of just all the like graphical glitches like breaking it down like that was that was wild those are wild times that was yeah that was something else i i i remember sonic boom will always stand as one of my favorite if not uh my favorite playthroughs that we've ever done on the show speaking of grumpad i wonder if i i lost the password to it so i wonder if i can find that now that i'm reminded of it what you mean to get into the youtube channel yeah to get to the youtube chat you absolutely lost the password so i should i should go and find it yeah why don't you do that bud it's been five years yeah probably a good idea great make a note let's move on to the next one okay oh man are we really underestimating that opponent yeah i didn't do anything to underestimate it [ __ ] [ __ ] [Music] [ __ ] [ __ ] my goodness oh my god please please please please please don't let they're they're also legendary what a what a vision to like make that using actual paper and like and just i think that's just like artist pencil or maybe charcoal it's way different than almost any other game grumps animated i can think of really really cool and also just just you bent over in front of a dragon yelling fill me up with your seed baby will always be one of my personal favorite memories thing is i don't remember dude if i didn't have you doing the show with me i wouldn't remember any of that [ __ ] like i would never remember any like famous game grumps memes really you don't remember that well i'm just like so it's like seared into my mind well maybe it's because like you heard it from because i'm just like so like worked up that it just comes out and i don't like remember exactly but you're sitting there like taking it in like i remember all stuff you say i remember that yeah i guess that must be it like your brain is in a different place but god man that that was so funny you were so mad and rightfully so that that game was bizarre all right let's see the next one yes it's a mysterious figure this is the first time we've ever seen shadow i see your [ __ ] bill pullman and he goes well i see your schwartz is as big as mine yeah but man that just went off in a direction and the these people took it to a whole new level that was the hardest i've laughed all day [Laughter] hey mr chambers oh dude not only am i not only my best friends with sonic i'm best friends with classic sonic too so so [ __ ] you are you [ __ ] jealous or something jealous people making fun of me at school [ __ ] you you don't know you just get beat up and you're like yeah well at least i'm friends with sonic and then the kid beating you up is like yeah me too i love sonic forces and i was like i love sonic forces too hooray and then they become best friends classic sonic shoes yeah i bet you're jealous now well [ __ ] done thanks is this it did we beat it is that it i mean that was seemed like the last boss yay [Music] [Applause] otherwise he came to your graduation tell your friends await sonic's your only friend that was adorable that was adorable been really interesting to see like the the evolution of mr chambers because i remember he first started and it was like very it was it was very unique and it was very dark and then just to see like this piece of work from him where it's like it's got that element but that now it's like it's becoming more like polished and like cute it's it's wonderful yeah there's there's a creepiness to it but it's also super cute um yeah that's a tough line to ride i i think that's that's awesome what a gift man what a gift all right we we gotta [ __ ] do this we gotta play this oh so not excited yeah i'm excited look at this oh how did you land safely from the plane because i'm [ __ ] sonic the hedgehog dude don't at me this is too slow oh my god dude can't stick around have to keep moving on oh my god only one way to find out just keep on moving ahead have you played this and follow my pain instead dude have you not realized that i'm secretly a sonic fan this whole time that's okay is wrong with you i'm a furry it's fine follow me set me free sonic games actually do a lot for both of us wow that's wonderful i i love the couple things i love about that i love that it shows our uh office it captures like the insulation on the ceiling and the panels and the the drawers which is not our office anymore so that's a nice memory lane thing to be chronicled uh i also love how you um how you gradually become more sonicy when you sing the song i saw the nose show up and i was like there it is yeah here it comes here it comes um i i i definitely love the aspect of i'm glad that was like the first moment on game grumps where where i was like how how do you not realize that i'm actually a sonic fan and like my relationship is extremely competent like complicated with sonic because that's the that's the thing is like i get all this stuff you know i i i've gotten a lot of like really cool opportunities with sonic over the years and with sega directly and uh you know i think there's a lot of people that are like like why the why the heck is is this guy he hates sonic like this is unfair and it's like no you don't understand yeah and i yeah and i say i'm a furry like we we just we just dropped like huge thi it's like if someone said uh the wizard of oz is a guy behind the curtain and darth vader is luke skywalker's dad and then just walked away just such a huge moment of of truths wizard of oz is a guy behind a curtain oh did i just give you a 1939 spoiler aaron the other thing i'll say is your your rendition of the song is beautiful oh mr chambers once again you think sonic shits [Laughter] if he does it happens very fast you really amused yourself with that one huh [Music] you all right aaron are you going to be able to recover from you yourself bringing up the question of whether sonic shits or not because i'm thinking about the logistics of it like while he's like flying along it's like no delivery no do you think he uses like a public restroom sonic and then like a bunch of humans are walking around like washing their hands and sonic just walks in he's like hey how's it going it's hot out huh you just closed the door and you just you're like next time on gear grubs [Music] no one will ever know by the time they find out i'll be miles from here well that was the bit that you brought up again that i had forgotten and i laughed just as hard yeah well it's it's truly the the confluence point of all your favorite things poop jokes and sonic and and weird situations it's so funny i do like that mr chambers like his characters all have weird jagged teeth like there is like an underlying like um evil to what's going on it's it's funny well he's so good at like personifying those moments too where like sonic comes into the bathroom yes it's like really tiny looking up at them blink blink that has a gun actually when you see uh sonic's legs in the stall and they come together on the that actually really reminded me of your old cartoons yeah i wonder if mr chambers got a little inspiration well uh that was that was all we have for you today i hope you all enjoyed it that was really fun that was a fun quick one i loved it yeah that was good um hey Does anyone else get unnecessarily frustrated that Arin, to this day (to our knowledge) still hasn't learned that he was doing the Froggy missions wrong? Like, I know it's absolutely not something worth getting frustrated over. Arin got through it and we got a very memorable and hilarious episode out of it.

But there's this little voice in my head that's like "He doesn't know! He doesn't know! He needs to know!" Maybe because I think it'll be a funny reaction from him when he learns? Same thing with his misunderstanding of the Knuckles levels.
