SURVIVING in the CARDBOARD WORLD! - Cardlife Gameplay

hey everybody I'm blitz welcome to a brand new game called carne life so Kart life is an open-world game where you live and die and survive in a cardboard based universe you can see our character here he's made out of cardboard his arms of cardboard the shovel down here is cardboard even the clouds up here in the trees everything is made out of cardboard I played in a few months ago really enjoyed it and I was waiting for the game to be released on Steam to play it again so today October 9th 2018 is the alpha release on Steam so I wanted to play it with you guys again today also this video is actually gonna start off with a single-player world today so check out the loading screen here you have a big cardboard dinosaur a big cardboard bear there's goblins made out of cardboard in the spiders and robots great it's it's so cool we'll see when we get into the game once it loads up - all righty here we go he okay so you this leave this there's not even stairs it's just the ground in layers of cardboard how awesome we had to start off the game by punching trees obviously we're to punch the tree I think it yes it makes holes in the tree so you have to punch all the way across it it's that cool okay and then I'm assuming we'll make an axe after this look like berries to eat there we go come on break it down break it down break down that tree cool here we go come on three please ball please ball yes yeah chipper oh nice and then we walk over everything to pick it up collect your rewards oh hey I found a cave what's down here Oh meat okay so there's there's stuff down there we need it we need to dig that up okay did I is there any more trees okay we need to collect our rewards with the jbutton timber oh we get ten more wood very nice so we have Weaver next already collected let's collect this one and then we get to tool up craft a wooden hatchet so we press I for inventory and this is where the game gets really really interesting so we have to craft this up and we get to draw what rx looks like so if we want it to be like like I saw acts like that and then we can do something like this then we go up and then we go do this and that's the way the axe looks isn't that cool okay let's redo that I don't like that one and leave it and I want to make like big spiky teeth here there we go there we go okay and then how about we do like a big sig sig here Ben just gonna make it all derpy looking there we go and then derpy over here tada I like that one that's I think one of the coolest things about this game is that everything in the game you can you can basically create on your own oh shoot I could have created the handle too oh well oh let's make dinner rewards too and to collect that hunger management all right so we have to eat a spring berry to reduce hunger is that what this is spring berries come on spring berries well let's keep creating some things here and we'll grab these what is this bush tell me bush what are you you are a star berry stubborn these are spring berries okay we'll grab those okay no let's try to chop down the tree with the X see if it makes any bigger holes for this bastard oh yeah it's a little faster cause it's a giant tree oh come on I should I should have planned that out a little bit there we go we will remove everything so is the bottom hunger bars in the bottom right that makes sense okay does that do it nope this cardboard tree is being held up by that one little splinter we did it we did it yes timber okay so all of the stuff comes out of the out of the stump interesting okay if I beat this thing incompatible - all right we'll just put that away put that away grab it yay okay now spring berry can I eat you no oh come on I need that I need more hunger let's keep breaking trees until I get hungry man timber again I don't know why they're so sad uh spike oh nice Oh what was that noise okay we're collecting the wood okay there's supposed to be like animals - oh there's a wolf right there let's go look at that wolf maybe if I run around I'll get hungry again and I don't want to get eaten by all there's a deer or something what are you can I stab you oh there's another one it's an elk thing I would I'm gonna smack you with my hatchet they won't even know it won't even know ha yes oh oh it's jack me back Wow ah bad stick that stick oh no this is a bad idea this is a bad idea oh it's almost done though yes oh ok good yes die die dear die ok I got it we got a little bit of hide out of it and deer antler and raw meat but I took a lot of damage let's see gonna eat that nope ah I did it I ate I ate the stuff ok collect it we get 20 more scrapers cardboard warfare ok so now I have to I should have probably crafted this sword before I took the deer oh but that's okay I still defeated it oh my health goes up pretty quickly nice ok so let's graph this sword up it was a wooden sword right wouldn't short sword is that what this one is ok yeah well craft you oh I don't have enough I don't have enough fiber let's grab some more oh right we can craft it let's make it I want to make it like a shark tooth we'll make the point nice and square and then I don't know maybe we should do it normal maybe not I don't think we can go past that middle point let's just do this I've kind of noticed that it the more like spikes you have on it the kind of dumber it looks so and it doesn't look too bad I kind of like that it kind of looks like a like an orca short or something then we can create this and then do it backwards and then like this and like that ok sure that's our new sword I love it we have a new store ok I like putting the sword son let's see I like putting my ax my sword always on 4 oh look at that thing haha nice might have been like a goblin underground or something hi dear how are you oh dear ah yes oh ok well we bit me good Stephanie Stephanie - Pete it is inviting and said Wow so the store does a lot more damage in the ex imagine that one dear Oh and eat its raw meat I don't want to eat raw meat come on game okay I did it I collected to give me more fun stuff there we go look like that Landscaping I gotta make it shovel now inventory it is shovel time after you let's make it square well make it square shovel today may be as square as the shovel as I can make well that's that's not really square and then I think we can cut pieces out of it too yeah well at meet it's a wooden shovel we just need we need to give our shovel his face there we go we got ourselves the oh we got ourselves a shovel did it craft oh I didn't craft it there we go shovel oh no it didn't save cuz I cants thought of it that's okay collect dirt with your hands no I'll watch it really I want to make a shovel here we go oh wait I did it I did it okay we got to start building next very nice let's go down here where it's nice and flat hmm is that a bear as a turtle it's a turtle hello turtle are you gonna be mean are you gonna kill me who's that noise I don't know everything want to kill me no bentrik bed bed you are hungry I know but I'm running away from all the animals I'm trying to eat me there's a crab after me too great almost out of stamina I'm gonna die this dear fine dear fine how do you like that how do you like this put the end of my orcish sword get dead see that didn't work out too well for you all right we're good now like that oh I get a wooden Spade okay and then no place like home we have to craft a wooden square foundation all right we can do that wouldn't the square foundation craft oh we even get to create this that's awesome we'll just cut some holes in it yeah cuz I mean it's yeah that's cool make it looked all cracked up and stuff perfect well create that nice that's so cool ah let's put this down here number six and foundation dear feet okay can I do another one nope I only have one ha that is so nice you can even see through it cool collected I get three more so let's put these down oh there goes connected connected connected bad turtle okay well I made a door but I forgot to to make it how I wanted it oh well put that there get a nice door and we have to mind stone with a pickaxe okay I don't like that it goes through like a tutorial showing you how to do things okay let's make that pick so it's a little bit more difficult it seems how do we want to make the pickaxe I feel like doing this is not gonna be too exciting for the pickaxe we'll just see hey it's cardboard there we go and then sure and then we can make that we can make the handle too nice bring it down across I'll just follow the lines this time give it the old giver the old one too that's nice and we got ourselves a pickaxe all right stone where are you oh that does not look like a good pickaxe me well we'll do it we got a mine still give me that give me that hey we've done it wait he's a stone it is good hey so I just put in the last little bit of the wall I thought we could do that we have a nice little chest here we can open up and put things in we got that for free we also have an extra shovel we got some sand I got some more plant matter what's the plant matter with you we got some stones dude cool so let's collect a few more rewards here little footprints hey they're right below me I keep you're like - there's definitely some sort of goblin underneath of me okay let's collect a few more of these so I can make up my armor oh it wants me to crap stone Slayer armor not wooden whoopsies I was making I was collecting all the wood stuff I guess we'll do the other one I'm very hungry I should eat something like meat raw gross here we go learn a craft that still number up 40 it takes 40 it was a lot okay and then this one we had to do individual pieces I don't know here let's do is this where's the torso part there okay this is the torso what I'm gonna do is try to make it as normal as it can and then I'm gonna try to put my logo in it okay so this is a lot harder than I thought it was because we have to make the logo right if we do this oh that's kind of got oblong no see yeah I could just make a big hole in the chest that's not I would not recommend a giant hole in your chest for armor not a good idea here we go I did it I did it I created I got my logo in the chest that looks so cool oh I don't know if I'm gonna be able to see myself okay can I install that somewhere let's put that on there we go yes yes can I see myself how do I see myself I'm not sure I'm not sure how to see myself I have a torch though that's good oh I get the stone short-sword from this - okay wow look at all these things that were we weren't unlock you know okay so next up to feed a wolf what defeat Oh wolf for its Pelt oh boy this can be bad well we can throw that in let's go back to our little makeshift house quickly we'll put this old sword in there you know what I want it I want to make up these other stone things like a helmet where's that one Nomad scout oh it's made out of thread and leather I wonder if those are better than the stone ones that is that a bear looks like a bear you know what I don't want to be the bad end of a bear right now there's a floating open the deer this terrain wasn't loaded in again we need to find a nice little where are you hello wolf can do my wolf call whew that was pretty pathetic I won't do that again I promise all right wolf was that was another goblin oh I said I wasn't gonna do that oh man hi ha ha yes Jack Jack Oh dire wolf that's better that's bigger than a regular wolf oh really brutally outrunning I love running pranks and best bring so much fun stay away from me this is a dire wolf not a regular wolf I need arrows and better Armour and eating other things like meat oh boy dire wolf okay you ran away all right let's gonna die hi baby yeah Martin I'm super hungry coming at me okay I'm all right oh that's it yes yes oh nice I got the wolf pelt very cool now I get to build a simple bed in my spawn point in my bedroom simple bed oh just one light wolf pelt good craft you up oh I can make oh wow I can make different things on here cool I don't know if I want to make their fancy intricate thing wow you can even make your your bed different that's neat I don't know I'm just kidding I'm not doing I'm not feeling creative on a bed I'm not so we'll just put a regular one in and we'll put you down oh wow okay ready get set in listen beautiful night quest ok delete I need a place a wall torch can I place that here Oh No different torch all right we'll all torched a blowtorch floor torch ceiling torch wall torch perhaps create I'm glad that they have like I really really love that the system where you can build everything but I'm glad that they have defaults to if you don't really mind too much what your torch looks like too hot to handle oh we got we got more torches let's put more torches up we need three for the inside of our walls like alright next up is smelting a copper or using a furnace so we have to make a furnace furnace is oh we need another pail alright to the fields we go hey so I figured if I'm gonna go find honey a stronger pickaxe oh no ok oh well good thing we can craft wood and grappler I figured if I'm gonna go out trying to find animals I also need to find copper so I thought of one cable I'm sorry I'm sorry Wolff are you regular wolf oh yeah yellow eyes no whoa teleporting around hungry now he's dead no good ok got that one pelt let's eat that meat quick I really want to make a like a furnace for making food oh it's coarse hide not not light wolf pelt I need to kill a deer instead I know just the place to find deer I will destroy you dear how's that make you feel I'm just oh ok should be easy peasy is busy deer killing mix squeezing guy I got it hey give me that good we got it raw pelt and make that furnace up I know I'm hungry furnace time craft it and should I put this in my bedroom why not let's put it right nice okay smelt copper or need to use and then we have Redwood fuel and then we put our copper ore inside here and we click smell well that was easy cool and we got to have to handle more copper ingots and now do I get to made o a clothing rack alright so I'm wondering here Forge okay so is there a campfire maybe fire camp mmm kitchen cauldron hmm so I'm not seeing help make should've done all no cook stove no fireplace cauldron what was that these landscape pictures that's so you can draw your own pictures I was trying to see if there was a way that I could craft up food it is early access yet really alpha so might take a little bit time our stairs can make some cool houses here look at all this stuff okay what is that a vanguard statue Wow yeah you can customize the statue oh here we go sealing torch I probably can't do that alright so or no way to really cook food right now or that I've seen anyway let's eat some more raw meat look at this thing up here what is this it's like a like a dragonfly or something what are you yeah I'm gonna kill it Oh dry ass okay don't don't scan spell on me or anything I don't like you ah got it I got it dead okay and then I get I got a coarse hide and a dull magic essence oh it sounds cool I didn't see that there's a giant puddle of them over here too yeah I don't think I want to mess with too many of them probably cast some weird spell on me what is this bush I there was some copper back here oh there's some more stuff here I think I'm gonna build down at an angle here just dig down underground let's see if we can find anything no joke this is pretty cool down in the tunnels I love just that the color of it - can you make it a wall torch maybe torch I wonder if I can just create a wall torch and put it on the wall in down in here oh yes I can oh that's so cool okay even though it's not my house I haven't claimed it we still have a nice little tunnel down here this would be great hopefully we can find a cave pretty soon I think I found a cave or something yeah maybe just a glitch in the matrix Oh yep Oh what is that there's crystals in there what okay that's just a glitch going on I'm still going down to the Dingle here I'm thinking we're cave totally okay very nice okay I'm a little bit a little concerned about going down deep into here kind of interesting too I didn't find any copper on my big tunnel that I made no copper at all until I found this cave so I'm wondering if all of the over veins are just in case it's that'd be an interesting thing to discover as we play the game more I'm gonna put a torch right on the end here more at my alley a little bit better there's a compass I'm guessing this is how we're gonna start making food because we'll be able to get like well cooking food anywhere in gold we're gonna make a need course leather strips so I'm gonna make that inside add this thing leather strips uh I need rugged leather I had rugged leather I thought okay so I made a bow - okay oh wow okay that does pretty good damage all right I made a bow because I I need to go take out dire wolves and stuff I get that rugged hide I think that's what it takes oh good test on that one all right and then the five key I made stone arrows cuz I thought hey you know what stone might be a good way to start so let's go find that bear really quick where oh where are you bear today or a direwolf due to do nope that's the forest of deer I remember right the Bears were right over this hill is that a bear is that a bush yeah Joe are you you're a bush you're this thin berry bush thing yeah I'll grab it I'm hungry cuz I needed it anyway there we go spring berries nuts to berries there's a bear I have found him oh I hear him that was the Goblin in the in the in dungeon Underground okay that's a turtle not a bear ha giant turtle okay a giant turtle man are you so fast are you so fast in the ways of movie you can't touch me how many arrows does it take to turn over the face oh I gotta step I need your height oh need what is in this cave absolutely nothing okay I'm gonna get up here on the ridge cuz it's harder for them to walk up stairs and fighting shopping well boy I've got so many hit points are you so fast he's so fast no no bad bear down it's not even dying oh oh oh man okay I'm trailing him good good hiding tiny August Oh a deer don't attack me dear I'm feeling your predator I am do I have to him right next to my house so let's see if I can craft it ah rugged hide what do I get rugged hide from making thread out of that stuff ah rugged hide a rugged animal hide that can be tamed tanned to create rugged leather hmm I mean I got bear pelts what else the dire wolf maybe we could try that how many arrows do I have left oh oh oh I found the wolf pack it's a regular wolf I'll just slice it up with my axe sort of thing no don't I just don't like it when you had hit me though it hurts all my exes my store is gonna break okay they're just yes good okay that was good all right now this could be careful over the still let's be careful up here there are lots animals there's another wolf okay lots of animals up here I wanted to check out the different biomes Oh wolves are on the top here Wow Oh heard you you smell me you're looking at me can't tell he's looking the other way let's go I don't want to go through there I want to go to that redwood forest or up on the mountains to see if we can find anything different okay we're gonna tech oh okay bye bye wolf by wolf feel like the swords probably the better way on wolves I don't know why this would work but I'm gonna try to kill a crab maybe good hit dad knock it out nope this just says crab Oh putting that sound effect is so cool okay tie crab oh wait miss I missed it come on oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - okay now I want to get rugged - Hut just grab me ah I don't know guys I don't know where to find the rugged hide head oh maybe maybe a pig I haven't seen these guys before wild boar alright wild boar give me that gimme ur give me your highness hey you big head oh he's got on in points there we go there we go come on come up hard assistant you bet we need it we need this we did this for science purposes have been it no course hide that's the same thing we've been getting before no what's this that's like a that's like a super pig I think okay let's try to take out the super pit what is that oh oh elite wild boar this isn't good for us this is not good for us oh no it's blowing red it's boys ready damn did that say it's thousand hit points I think it did Oh seven I'm just gonna keep fighting arrows into its face okay oh good crap on me too okay I got it Oh Oh a wild boar skull horsehide Oh this crab this crab is no good I need to run back home ah here's home sweet home oh dear what the dear outside of our house hello mister dear I wish you had some rugged hide for me unfortunately I don't know where that is oh wow I love look at that with the sunset there's a lot of crystals down here is that what's that right there Oh looks like a yellow crystal okay I was hoping I was thinking it would be something else oh no oh no I fell down oh this is not good hey I fell into the hole deep down underground oh my word oh no we got zombies not a zombie goblins goblins oh boy this is okay so without a little bug in the game that's okay it's still really early alpha with my pickaxe in the face oh boy this is not good this is not good anyway guys that'll wrap it up for today's video others course hide are you kidding me no that's that's not what we need oh I want to know what's down here but I think I need to find oh oh I don't like all these sounds yeah was that I don't think I can get to me I'm gonna shoot in the head Goblin Savage I can't get to me oh my word mm hitpoints I am
