The Minecraft Boat Update that NEVER Happened...

hey what's going on guys slog that zip here boats in Minecraft there alright yeah I know we got some old upgrades the boats don't break against the islands quite as easy anymore but you two thought they update aquatic minecraft 1.13 what abroad of something just a little bit more interesting right I mean yeah sure we've got the different boat variants for all different wood types but by and large the boats are exactly the same as one another wouldn't it be nice if there was something a little bit about our boat friends well today's videos gonna be exploring just that what minecraft boats could have been yes that's right bye friend feast your eyes on these iron and gold and boats they each have their own unique advantages and they are all part of the experience that we would like to the same sign as me what happened whoa look it just sitting there well I hate was sitting there so stupid how I hate it but don't worry if I can teach you the ways of a real boat yes it's our earlier real boats these guys not is really it's no good really now in order to mate with these boat you need five pieces of iron as well and you're gonna make it similar to the boat but you see look it is nice third see that's the boat mm-hmm right it's not a boat it's dirt oh oh we were supposed to use oh it's you use the bride oh yeah okay yeah well I'm bad so we're scat oh and now I fallen and I'm drowning okay goodbye it's all good folks I got the boat right here look iron ingots regular old boat we're gonna cover our boat in iron beautiful we've got ourselves a modular boat there's a very special boat indeed yes you could just go ahead and place it down and you can and have a good time except it doesn't really do anything yet right it floats it exists it's pretty much it we got to add more in order to make this boat everything we ever dreamed of ah modular boat how spectacular but this boat can't run on its own you'll need an engine [Music] I know he's a furnace yeah we're gonna actually add a furnace to this boat check this puppy out just place the furnace inside and now you can start to power this thing with coal yeah add more coal it gives you high running time 720 seconds you could even increase the power or decrease the power of the boat to make it go nice and slow keep it cool baby so cool I'm like sweating so much right now it's kind of gross I was gonna show you but well I guess I did show you just don't worry about it I'm not a gross person so you ladies look full-blown power unlimited however it will cost you a lot of coal notice the more power you use the more seconds you'll typically get now we'll go more into detail as to how this interface works in a little bit for now I need to know is that you can place a furnace in your boat and and I guess you could also lose it to our I gotta agree with that next side whoa slow down there don't place anything you say well too late for that I already had a sort of upon the oceans just to get my coal furnace back at the moment were just collecting our materials yeah yeah yeah fine fine last thing you need with a but to be rideable is a seat no wonder I couldn't gets I was like trying to sit my booty down it was not working out here we go this how you make seats by the way you just need three oak wood stairs and you place them in oddly enough a seat form who'd have thought right and you'll get both seats click on an empty hand in order to sit down in it yes indeed we shall but not just yet well maybe I don't know it depends what the sign says I think I voted she's about ready to be placed ok however head of the goats tone that's we're gonna put it so we got an area right now to launch off with that brand new boat we plate down the boat put it in the seat and first and then get on in once you pass that you'll be off place boat facing this way I'll do it ok modular boat placed furnace place sea place ha now we can sit inside its beautiful big furnace my face it's definitely not gonna end poorly yeah and finally place your coal in however much you want we're gonna place in a whole stack look at that runtime power settings unlimited power and then you'll want to lock this guy in place and you are off to see the Wizard or dummy I don't know exactly if that's where we're headed but why is there a furnace in my face this is like I'm gonna get smoker's cough by the end of this trip all righty dalla we're at the next Island this is probably gonna be where I destination it ooh it's like still running where we should we probably be there now it's nice and good set to go dev we're not gonna blow up or anything don't worry about all the smoke coming from the dabit that I was gonna break it you're all mine well it seems beautiful once you break the boat you get all those that's Ted okay what's up Ted how's it going Ted the quest chest is this is this your doing Ted did you name that house Ted no okay what do you have to trade nothing you have not anything to trade absolutely zilch nope really you have nothing the lack of any the amount of thing is dangerously low yep all right fair enough so then I guess I'll keep these chairs to myself these boat seats yeah you had your chance too let's see what you got here though huh call a rudder oh that's a boat steering device to believe and quest one today glad to see you found the boat shed in one place your piece we'll both of those things honestly I'm Ted and I've got quite the list of tasks for you to complete before you can achieve the title of true sailing what true sailor Ted it's a matter with you man yeah yeah yeah deep dude huh oh yeah yeah you know what you did for your first task I needed to get some tools from that small island do i right now I know you were still very new to the whole boating thing so to help you I've made you a rubber rudder I just can't spelled it in or speak I can't do either all I can do is ask that you hit the like button subscribe by the way it's kid stuff it's my living kind of you have to do it now to use the router you must attach to your boat bearing engine and then you'll be able to move the boat so really how you move a regular wooden boat I've left some instructions on the small island but you are only allowed to take one trip who are you the boat king I gonna give any trips I want and I have a feeling I'm probably not up taking a lot of trips because I'm not that good and it won't really anything yeah but I mean I'm okay I'm okay play Minecraft go I assume that that is the small island right over there Ted so I will go ahead and set sail we're gonna place down our modular boat we're gonna go ahead and place down our furnace we're gonna place down our boat seat and when I add a rudder to it oh and look on the backside we now have that rudder it's gonna help us steer the boat in the proper direction so get inside if it's goal lock it in place have a good time power setting 50% let white hang it's a it's uh that that's not working oh that's why because we've got the rudder on it now so no longer does it just go on its own the moment have a rudder you can I use it as a regular boat and not only that if you've got a cape it goes crazy wow I look like a propeller no wonder he moving so fast so now you've got full boat control as you would a normal boat in Minecraft you can obviously go into the furnace settings and change the power setting to keep a cool baby and now you move in an extremely slow pace however you still move at relative speed and you are saving a lot of coal in doing that but we all go ahead and go with unlimited power that's the way to do it so where's the tiny little baby island maybe I'll fly there with my cape I'm telling you like helicopters dad it's nice you get some serious speed pick up on the yeah and it uh ooh it's like attacking me easy does it huh we should probably turn this power setting zero as usual yeah now what do we have here huh you need to bring all of these knobs tools back with you what number ooh that's a lot of tools yeah the pig agrees with me or at least is behind us oh you heard me like you start turning a little bit but you must only make one trip how do you do it whatever I'll have enough to keep all of this with me in one go I'm not exactly sure what it is Oh No what am I gonna do could it be something in this chest the answers with other boats plus new boat in the water near your first one then connect them with a rope then put a chest inside that's right these boats can also bring your goodies with you place the boat down place a chest inside and you can just start going to tile is fantastic look store it yes thank you so much love it love it never stop loving it wha-wha-wha always thought I've got more to put in there okay that's fine so in go the shovels yes perfect and that should be enough for us to grab it all now yeah we got more than that room and Ted has a new quest for us oh that's convenient he would he probably want us to bring all these tools back with him sorry guys y'all gotta go I mean what good is a whole bunch of Minecraft axes if you're not planning on using them right little piggy you're right we need to attach one boat to the other using this rope okay so I'm gonna right click and then right click you and then hopefully okay right click and then right click there we go nice in the past oh yeah don't mind if I do we are tugging this boat along with us and at any time we can get out of the boat and we can also even not get out of the boat we just right-click and access our items yes so good so good now I'm curious to see what happens if we try and break the boat behind us cuz you know maybe wood all the items pop would it go into chest form I don't know we should find out a little bit later for now Ted probably needs us for something else Teddy having trades what do you want Ted got another quest too that's it okay excellent work and it has a small price field job well done I'll allow you access to my special boat teleported but why did you teleport your butt whoa hey where's my boat going what Ted way mean what I know you did it I press some in your book and open all I need no no no no no that's not what is the rest you this bow has some really cool features namely require fuel or steering I pre quipped it with a route to take you to the next quests and I don't expect you to return away we go we got another module add it to this lovely little boat you can put maps on it ah that's cool you can use the map to at any time see where did you go wait didn't you want your like stuff yeah yeah you can have all this back I I don't think we think we yeah the other steps on that boat it just completely went off on its own so check this out when we are on this boat we can see where we're headed not bad and not only that but you no longer need to fuel your boats if you add a daylight sensor to them all you gonna do is right click and you've got your lovely solar engine fantastical now we do have ourselves our path editing feature look at this loveliness so currently we are trying to get to a certain place on the map and it is designated by the marker right here you see you can place markers as well marker marker marker mark love it y'all see erase them erase erase erase erase love it so once you've finished placing a couple markers down in this case Ted did it for us we go ahead and escape this menu lock in place and check it out we're on the way we don't need to steer it all in fact if we try and steer it's not working it's gonna take us exactly to where we want to go and it's kind of kind of shaky a little bit as well and again you get a cape it's okay we're almost there right now and we've got more animals too I mean friends to make yeah I want to give her this axe I get a little tempted sometimes so here we are just like that boat is going crazy mad with power if you want to make it stop all I got to do is unlock stops moving stops going mad with power very important you never wait never go forward in that right mr. people I wish had an axe that he would've been out of his misery already you seen doing a bit of ligament oh no oh no more signs that are due sangmi but don't worry you do some out of this go to your boat and try to use the Helms map to change it you'll need to reroute the boat to go to the small island to the west be careful however because the boat must go around the land we're trying to get over to this island and we need to boat around the land again when it's in boat steering mode and you've got this crazy map on the back there that is very key you will have to direct it using the pathing system so what we want to try and do is get to this island I believe it's over here however we need to draw our marker path that way so I'll replace the marker here you can see in the background the boat is changing direction we didn't do it all the way properly so we'd have to change that once again marker needs to face this way there we go and if you look we are now facing the proper direction the moment we lock in place it's gonna start placing us right away so back to edit path we're gonna go ahead and zoom in a little bit closer and go around this island and that's cool and we're trying to get to that red marker I believe right over there so if we do all this should take us pretty much right there so now that our path is nice and set go and lock her in place and we're off again hands-free hands-free right now we're literally doing this on like nothing nothing nothing look it's just it's going on its own this is the boat up that we needed because boating is like I mean it's fun it's okay it could have been so much more especially the update aquatic think of all the amazing things we could have been doing if the boats were searing for us look even my Cape goes normally now this is what we need mochi please give us something anything and look I think we were going the right way because look at this yeah yeah yeah ooh yo that's good placement not bad now bad at all lock you so you stop moving and we can get away just like that police boat don't go anywhere I'll be good sniffles what's up baby yep it's he believed it he fools this time you get away from me anyways what do we have on this island huh there's meeples you must save him from this place and bring him back with you to Ted's house save him from this place he's literally on a tropical island why would you ever want to leave oh look I made him think about his past he's like I used to live on that but he can't ride in any normal boat he'll need something more oriented towards animals it's not right mr. chicken yes who just did you one go where did it come from it came from me fools I didn't know you could legs it's impressive I really should take it back to Ted somewhere on this island are the ingredients to make such a boat yes a very special boat indeed so where can I find this chest I need to find something that will allow me to make the boat of my dreams is it what is it over here is it uh is it the red wall are we putting in a red wool boat and calling it a day maybe maybe not I don't know well here it is most random of all places hiding from sneaky moms not how it's going to happen so simply enough is all we got a duel place down your gold boat lay down a regular boat and I'm curious who place the rope down there - no see the Rope is just extra gold boat turns into an animal boat fantastic so it last boat in the chain first and then the one before instead chain that's exactly right so we've got our lovely little boat right here mm-hmm place the animal boat down now we're gonna need to get our boy me fools come over here me folks can we rope be fools now we lead I don't think I have a lead so I give myself a lead lead lead thank you so much come on down okay you come with yeah good we need to get this animal inside of its boat that's as simple as walking by the boat and then you know and then yeah I see now inside I can't do nothing so again it's simple right click with this boat right click with this boat it's now been attached together you ready for ride me fools maybe no okay whatever who asked you we gotta edit our path we need to get rid of most of these paths right here delete delete delete delete delete delete and we need to head back to Ted so don't mind if I do and replace this down give me a handset and you honestly you only need markers for when you're trying to change direction so I could place a marker all over there and it's still gonna do its thing this should get us roughly right to where Ted is so we don't let that happen and if we need to make any adjustments along the way we can do that from now that will lock in place and meeples is in the way well what's new now you can place markers while you are moving it is amazing indeed we're literally moving right now now let's see can I get two yes I can we're headed right that mountain fantastic so look at this thing really I just right-click and I'm good I did it I did it I'm on this giant ship and we are slowly moving and it's kind of different there we go now we're moving now we're getting it good okay oh oh it's backwards is that Y value so get beautiful well jeez it's a little finicky to control but once we get onto open seas I have a feeling to be a little bit easier there we go fantastic we're literally on the open seas right now just sailing away this is the coolest little look at this oh this is so much fun this is sweet mad we're on an actual ship right now it sways and it rocks and it does its thing and even a little ship steering wheel what's it called again I don't remember it works it literally steers Oh sick hey my boat I just fell out what Hey Oh No hey it's sailing away without me what the heck Oh worst ending ever oh my gosh my friends that might have been what minecraft boats could have been like if the update aquatic went a little bit differently for
