[Music] when i do this i try to give everything back that i can and not everybody can take everything back i understand yeah so what i'll do for you i'll give you anything that you want and if anything you want me to haul away i'll do that as well we looked through it which is not usually what we do because i wanted to be able to give you the ashes yeah i appreciate it we're giving the previous owner a call right now we know she wants the ashes we're going to try and restore his love and give her everything see what we can come up with [Music] hopefully hopefully we can connect while we're in town because we're a good hour and a half away from home hopefully i got this storage unit the public storage run in broadview heights 125 there's one reason and one reason alone that i actually purchased it the manager at auction told us that there was the deceased sun the remains left in the unit and i wanted it as an opportunity to restorage the love so let's see what's inside we've attempted to contact the previous owner but our phone calls have not been answered we're going to go ahead we're going to load it up and then we're going to see if we can take it back let's just take a peek in here we're going to have to look through everything we want to set those ashes aside very very carefully and very delicately and respectfully we definitely have a bed in here let's do this patience let's grab the bed let's load that up let's get like we've got the table here uh and there's some flat screen tvs let's get that out of the way and then we'll dig in we'll see if we can find the ashes and we'll make sure those get back to the rightful owner and frankly we're gonna try and give it all back attempt number two trying to get a hold of the previous owner once we got the furniture out of here not a lot here there's boxes and a few totes so what we're going to do is we're going to try and actually find those ashes and try and set them aside let's just oh just drop the box come on in patience let's take a peek here we're gonna see what we can actually find you know here's here's important stuff and we absolutely you know the former owner may not have the space for like the bed or the tables but this stuff is important paperwork and we absolutely we want to find we want to find our son and so we're gonna we're gonna do everything we can to be able to go listen here he is and you can have everything else if you have the space to take it but we want to be able to actually put her son in her hands so we're looking here this looks like right here this looks like a lot of paperwork and yeah this is definitely a lot of paperwork i'm not seeing what i would consider the ashes let's swing on over here let's just set that aside i mean this could have that could have been even like the burial suit or no no i guess it doesn't work that i don't know honestly i don't know how it works i'm talking before i should uh i should start thinking before i open my mouth all right come on over here let's take a peek and uh is this for boxing i think so yeah okay clothing definitely a lot of clothing definitely a lot of clothing i don't see i don't particularly see anything that reminds me of something that will contain ashes remember we mean absolutely no disrespect whatsoever as we're searching we just want to have respect for the wishes of the previous owner and we want to respect the things that she's looking for i don't see anything here there's a here's another set of shoes again i don't see it there let's uh well here's here's another set of furniture this looks like baskets i don't see anything in the baskets but patience it may be a good idea if we like there's there there's some boxes up here if we actually if we take this stuff if we put the baskets in here let's go ahead we'll put like if i get this out of here i think every basket somehow probably goes and slides in here like that yeah and then we can get that out of the way which will help the search a little more we can also we can get the fan out of the way something did just fall family photos so luckily did not break and luckily we can still get that back so let's move some of that you see the you see the actual two flat screens in here as well so here here's a flat screen here the panasonic here's the jvc here let's go ahead let's load those up too and then we'll get into some more of these boxes these look like lebron james ceo yep look at that they're in there and if if these were her sons no doubt these hold some sentimental value as well so yeah we want to get this back to her here is a book bag i mean they could be a lot of times people will actually put things in book bags to protect them okay this is for camp certificate of achievement so camping some kind of camper thing let's see i'm not seeing it in there here is wow these are nice boots so this is this looks like a box of shoes which again you may think i'm silly but a lot of people actually hide things down in the shoes when they're packing them i just i don't think we're gonna find them necessarily in here so we'll we'll set that aside and set the lebrons we'll set that aside i'm gonna grab something else some blankets that could be could be inside the actual blankets look at that handmade quilt beautiful two of them you seeing that yeah look at the patterns there that's beautiful handmade quilts i mean honestly a couple hundred dollars right there and i think one of the things we can do is we can let her know there's a couple hundred dollars there and and how right there that remote with this this 150 on ebay so the former owner could have actually sold this on ebay paid the fees not lost the actual storage unit so again i think that's one of the things that we can definitely help teach people look at this through a bunch of calculators and believe it or not calculators they're worth money especially the older ones okay algebra what's this we've got business professional association and there we go right there business professional so some awards there too no doubt that's important well that goes to the tv the flat screen tv that we found let's set that aside oh my goodness look at this that's a lot of movies look at how many movies all right movie after let's see here man of steel after earth today you die sopranos there are there are a lot of movies and this one can you look in there do you see anything else other than movies nothing okay yeah i'm not really seeing anything what about this one here let's take a peek we've got dogs i there's some jewelry there it could be in a pendant that you wear around your neck as a necklace so like there's a pendant right there it all depends on what the person did i'm not seeing anything in here let's check let's check in here really quick and and we have we have heard back from from the previous owner there's some pens through the actual facility so we've been leaving messages there's uh i think that says truck that's cursive for truck and then cleveland cavaliers so we are we are absolutely gonna connect we've got some locks right there master locks [Applause] i just i'm not definitely vcr and books magazines i mean i don't see much more down i see some magazines let me see if i can try and pull one up not exactly magazines actually um these are comic books the incredible hulk whoa let's see i'm not seeing anything that would signify that they're in there and this what we got here what do we got here this could be it's not it christmas obviously you know important all right paper paper paper i see lots lots of paper i'll check that out look at that hand drawn it's beautiful that's really good okay very special is photo albums paper that might be from the funeral completely and totally missed it which again you could put you could put ashes in anything so it would be easy to miss it's just trying to trying to figure out where they actually are we want to give it all back absolutely want to give it all back it's a process of actually trying to find it to make sure you you put it in her hands and go you don't have to worry anymore you have your son again and instead of making her look through everything okay this is okay i think we might be on the right track here because this is more family photos look family projects and you know maybe stuff that the kids did a beautiful woman right there actually kind of looks like george but her hair doesn't curl like that okay let's see there's got to be this this is all photos we are i can't believe how bad of jewelry down here and we're gonna have to look through it all right because any of it could be it again we don't mean to be disrespectful to any of this but we're gonna have to move it in search if she can help us help her find it and see if she can take everything as we restore the love we're giving her a call hello hello is this lisa hi lisa jeremy here i happened to purchase a storage unit this morning and uh the the manager shared that the there were ashes of your deceased son that you wanted back yeah it's like a green container without his stuff in it like like a a green tote yeah like a green coat okay well i i tried i i will share with you i i loaded everything up already i just finished and i did my best to try and find what the ashes looked like and honestly i couldn't find them but that doesn't did can do you know what it's like the whole um the hotel is for him oh it's specifically yeah well i wanted to do one thing better if uh if you would allow me to i actually purchased the unit and i wanted to give you everything back that you wanted from the unit oh i appreciate that uh i'm not going to charge you anything whatsoever and as a matter of fact i'm in broadview heights right now and if i can meet you i would like to actually drop that all off i understand storage is always an issue with with people who who have storage units but if you were to say hey i wanted this this this this you can have everything back that you want back it's part of a movement that that we've tried to establish online we call it restoraging the love and so i'll go in and i'll buy storage units and i'll gift them back to the original owner i've lost everything in my life once due to a divorce and i know what it's like and how hard it is and i always want to pay it forward and give it back wow that's amazing i appreciate it the only problem is that i'm at work what time what time do you get off work i get off of the work late at seven o'clock 7 p.m yeah i work at urgent care so oh yeah yeah it's there in my desk i had to get up you almost you were crying at your desk yeah i had to get up for a second well if i were to meet you well after you get off work at seven how how soon does it take you to get home um not that long maybe about maybe about 15 20 minutes if i were to meet you there after you get off work would that work that would be great yeah i'm doing good i didn't believe it i thought it was a lie it's 100 i'm jeremy to meet you good to meet you as well i've got it all okay so it's all back here okay and they told us so they announced it and they said that you wanted ashes yeah well it's not ashes but yeah he passed away uh in 2001 and i have a box that has all his stuff in it everything yeah do you mind sharing when he passed away from um so he uh swallowed meconium so that's the fluid in his lung and the sac went in his lungs and when i um by the time i had him he was brain damaged this was back in he was born in 94 so he lived five years and um yeah he had a trach and feeding tube he was in a wheelchair yeah um and then uh 2001 i had my other son i have two more kids that i have one uh as a freshman in college and i have another one that's a sophomore and so um yeah i just wanted that that's the only thing i really want out of that we actually so when i do this i try to give everything back that i can and not everybody can take everything back so what i'll do for you i'll give you anything that you want and if anything you want me to haul away i'll do that as well we looked through it which is not usually what we do because i wanted to be able to give you the ashes yeah but so if it looks like while they went through the tote we did we went through the those looking because that's what they shared with us but you want to take a look and see i really appreciate this you know what it's it's a it's a blessing for for me to be able to do it and to share with others make a positive impact it's it's really it's not a lot yeah it's not the biggest storage unit yeah it's not i've paid on it for two years and it's like um extra stuff came up with my daughter in college and one month to do it and then that's it and then yeah and then it goes delinquent so i i have everything okay like the totes in the boxes are here the mattresses are in the back okay and then there's the tables there's a little side you know like little furniture thing but i mean anything you want we'll haul we'll we'll help you get it where it goes anything you want me to take because you don't have storage for i can do that too it's all up to you so what do you do with the stuff that we don't want i resell everything okay so here's one of the things that i saw in there you have a dvd uh cd uh combo that'll sell for 150 on ebay oh will it so you could have went in there and actually got that sold it on ebay paid your paid your fees um there are some other things that we saw as well i don't even remember now off the top of my head but there there are some things in there that you can resell and if you don't then if you're not i'm gonna basically i'm gonna do this yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna give you that stuff i just want those two totes right there with the pictures you show me you show me you show me what's most important so the material things are not important was this the green one yeah the green one this one right here the one that i was talking about okay yeah we thought maybe it would be in there we saw the shoes so all this is well most of it is his stuff um pictures is this him right here yeah beautiful that's beautiful yeah so this is all i have of him so okay and then there's something that he was christened um that's in there too we saw a baptism yeah the show yeah he was gonna make it through the day and they they baptized them in the hallway oh wow i'm not gonna cry so that's important to me i'll tell you what i end up crying most of the times doing this um and then was there another one and this one right this the big well that at least we put them right there i appreciate it oh maybe maybe i don't know my daughter probably you said it was some video tapes or something uh video did we see vhs tapes i think we might have seen vhs tape somewhere but i don't remember where i don't even every day every day but this this one's definitely pictures okay actually this that's the only things that are important for me really this is what you want uh you are personal you are more than welcome i'll even carry it and haul it for you you tell me where to put it does your auntie does she know we're here no i didn't call her she probably is wondering why we're standing out here um you can just actually put it in the driveway you want it in the driveway yeah okay this one's the going to give you the only blessing so it's been stressful but i thank god for this just the stuff that i couldn't replace so i know it looks like junk to people but it's memories it's worth more than
