2012 are you ready we're here all right where are we we are at a property located in worcester yeah and it is going up for auction but we were able to get uh an appointment to preview it before in the viewing let's take a peek at it look at that they're supposed to be three full did you hear me three full bathrooms in here three count them one not one not two two three tree holy oak tree you know how i love love mature trees all right you love dead trees because you like knocking them down yeah that's fun too let's see let's see what we got the front entrance i do like all of the windows looking outwards the auction is in a week we're doing the preview beforehand here's a solid brass knocker i like that that's a good sign you knocked oh hello here we go let's open up this first door okay so we would be looking at this property for one coat closet coat closet but what would we use the property for this would be an investment a rental piece another rental property oh oh man that in the front door that is not for tall people there's a lot of black squirrels outside all right i'll make sure they don't get in all right let's turn it over to the right oh this is the kitchen this is the kitchen this is a million times bigger than my kitchen not sure about the green cabinets but some some may love it what do you think uh i'm colorblind i think it's great i think there's a million probably wouldn't cost much to get a furnace in here and from what i hear it's a finished basement so probably get a furnace and then duct everything in and we can get rid of the base form yeah floor is beautiful we should uh i think there's probably bedrooms that way you want to go check them let's go check them george what do you think yep bedroom number one light fixtures for you to run into yeah that's a c bonus no light fixtures to run into so that means they probably have they probably have yeah one of the outlets is hooked up to look at all the closet space that's really nice i'm obsessed with closet space and here i thought you were obsessed with me now if you see orbs it's not because the previous owner passed away this past november even though she did it's because there's dust that's i i like the open shelving closet space okay so nice nice bedroom would you leave the carpet uh absolutely not well if i was gonna use it as a rental sure nothing wrong with it if i was gonna live in here yeah it's flipped to the type you like oh here here's where here's the important spot right here all right so this is one bathroom there are three full bathrooms in this house you find anything good more storage space that is an oldie yes so definitely things need to be updated from fixtures to well let's just say from bathrooms to bedrooms i mean that was great that was groovy back in the 60s and 70s all right let's go into the spectrum look at them shades oh my goodness wallpaper okay that is some red carpet it matches the wallpaper now just so we're clear this was this was a little lady that lived here as a matter of fact her grandson was a tenant of mine and she passed away in november and the house is now in the estate that's why it's going up for auction she would sometimes she would write the check for her grandson he would give her the cash she would pay his rent she would she would actually pay his rent little signature look at that cool tree with the vines going all up in wow i'm looking for leakage issues this is single pane so with single pane windows you see this what's going to happen is you're going to get you're going to get moisture so that's definitely an area that we got to look at because windows and this place has huge windows windows are probably going to have to be replaced a double pane just just lost storage in the closet now we're out in the hallway and there's two closed doors let's open up this one linen closet love it the master bedroom check this out windows everywhere half the houses the windows not so much the wallpaper but love the windows the windows are most definitely going to have to be replaced and that's because of energy efficiency so to actually heat or even to cool a house with this many windows you have to have efficient windows to keep those costs down the other thing is if you buy it as a rental property then you just keep the windows the way it is and your tenants they end up paying those costs and so you don't worry about it as an owner but if you want to be a great owner and a great landlord make sure you put efficient windows in there's a bathroom on here too check this out the carpet's not red in here i actually like this carpet everything's sticky everything is definitely thick sink is leaking that's that's a little bit of leakage and yep yep oh i love how there's a window out here we have an issue here i have an issue here what do you see look at the closet check out the closets you're going to open this checking out the bathroom but yeah you basically so what happened during from my understanding to the houses in this neighborhood during or excuse me after the war there was a lack of work and so what they did is they put a ton of people employed in building basically closet space in this area of town and so what once was a full bathroom like this this wall was never here they hired people to come in and a lot of these people in the neighborhood did it they built closet space in every single room which is why you're seeing massive closet spaces in what were otherwise huge bedrooms but then what you get is very small spaces in must be a switch out here is our switch there's a switch right behind you there you go and then you get a very small space cramped right oh yeah i need more i need more elbow elbow room for the push-up i i don't know i personally like the toilet being separate from the main part of the bathroom because my house has the toilet has its own room yeah i need uh i need some more room the shower is a little tight there's a there's a lot of heavy lifting things that happen in the wide load in that area more closet space love it definitely vintage yes yes it is basement it's supposed to be finished what do i see a sink i think another kitchen there's a whole another kitchen down here and look at the vintage aspect of it oh my goodness we find these in storage units there's an old general electric look at that this one the last time i checked it was like over a thousand there they go very well yeah the fridge might need a little help but look at that this is a whole another area for hosting i mean can you there's tons of space for activities suite or maybe another renter you could split you could actually split top to bottom and you could have two yeah you could have two two apartments because technically there's another exit there is an exit you could split top to bottom and you could have two apartments uh that wood is probably swelling because of the weather but george just found a way out there's a shed we're on the outside brick house brick house there's the living room windows that was from the dining room now we're out here i love it i want to see what's in here uh you don't this one is see right there that's this one actually is a gas fireplace so it's going to exhaust up the of the original fireplace which would be right up there on the second floor so with the baseboard heating if you use if you utilize your fireplace that could probably warm up the house save money that way probably i would love to get rid of the baseboard the other thing i mean really what would probably end up doing oh my goodness holy cow uh you think i've never seen a furnace like that it's an incinerator oh my goodness it's an incinerator holy cow you would put basically you would put your burnables in here okay kind of scared yeah looks like pieces of them at least all right definitely found ashes in here you know who did it let's see another closet again this is part of the initiative after the war let's see this is i mean everything needs to be updated but here oh my goodness oh my goodness look at this here's another here's a full functioning fireplace that would be a third third fire race could you imagine how amazing this house would be if it was updated man maybe we should be one of the tenants well the other thing we were talking about is flip-flopping well we were talking about excuse me there's the ac we were talking about actually getting this house and using it for christian and patience as an office while we're in florida yeah more bedrooms more bedrooms so the carpet definitely matches that's the question everybody always wanted to know and there's more signs of leakage there's just huge windows huge beautiful windows minimal yard work that is some plush carpet again this is part of the initiative look at that there is this weren't long in there it's actually they tried to put a vent through a beam so they're losing all kinds of heat man i i really would have to really work at putting a new furnace and getting everything duct appropriately what the hells is this this is the utility room so you put on another washer dryer do you think there's enough room in this utility this is the washer dryer this could be a bedroom another exit this house is huge it doesn't look like it from the outside but it's huge this house is huge i'm sure there's drainage issues too being on the hill look at this you got more room i'm assuming this was for folding clothes that's my guess jeremy see this might be more closet space yep sure is i
