[Applause] downtown Minneapolis this is the Toyota BMX part final here inside the US Bank Stadium WOB riders with 10,000 square feet of concrete to contend with here today in the quest for some X Games gold hello everyone Jimmie Coleman here sitting a long time three-time X Games gold part Mellon Collie Kramer and Scotty the name of the game here in Toledo BMX park is charity in the field of the lap seven part competitive n selective we had seven different seven different winners has that even happened in xtm 234 we've only hastens there's only been three guys I've ever had consecutive wins but in the last seven events separate different guys into the palace part of the podium taking a look at last year's top three from X Games often in 2015 as you get a bird's-eye view of some of the features on the course it was I mean it was a trick machine shield right there yet Kyle baldock walking out with a bran Logan Martin with the silver and Dennis Anderson with the gold but that was last year it's a clean slate here in 2017 and with 12 riders in the field this thing is up for grabs it really is this kind of event is a lot different than other p.m. exercise because in my opinion this is a BMX all-around right here this is everything he'll hurt everything combined into one and taking a look at that start list there we started up with young edgar cayce bargain Peraza sandable when we finish it out with care to walker Bruce and your top three that we just referenced balls off Martin and Anderson your podium finishers from last year but as I mentioned before it is a clean slate here in 2017 as these guys are set to do battle here is time the US Bank Stadium before we get to it though let's take a look right now at the road 2x brought you by Pacific Oh today we take a look at the amazing journey of my co-host Dottie Kramer double tail whip Scottie Kramer has so much talent when he puts it all together he's very tough to beat hi I'm Scotty krendler I'm 30 years old and I live here in New Jersey I've been riding profession for 14 years I was 16 when I turned professional and that first year I actually turned professional I got my first vaccine since then I've got nine medals and River gold I started a YouTube channel almost two years ago YouTube was a perfect opportunity for me to be able to show my solid writing and my group of friends to the world October 12 year 2016 was the injury that changed my life we went through the whole day of filming and everything went really really well but on the last trick my felt wheel went into a hole I immediately just went right to my head to wake up and realize that I couldn't move anything from my neck down it was a very heavy moment but I had a feeling that everything was going to be okay the injuries that I sustained during the accident or damaged between my vertebrae pre-warning 7 but also I ended up fracturing my skull so what they had to do to relieve the pressure was removed pretty much the whole front of my forehead the doctors actually told my parents that I might not ever walk again for me it was really important to document my recovery I felt that I needed to finally step up and let everybody know that I was going to be okay I'm trying to push as hard as I can to get better and I see little bits and pieces that keep on coming back so I've been putting out videos on my youtube channel showing the progress I've been making to be honest with you I think the only reason why I'm here right now doing this interview be able to move my arms like I can is because of the support I received I had people like the big boy that's on my youtube channel that pretty much devoted his life to helping me out and keeping the YouTube channel going I have my family like my mom my dad and my wife that had been with me since day one man and their support had gotten me through this and having the foundation wrote a recovery step up and help me has been such a huge splicing for me and I'm so grateful for the support I've gotten since the start of this from being paralyzed from the neck down I've made tons of progress I'm back up in my feet I'm able to play my piano again and I'm able to be out there and be a part of my videos and actually hold the camera but the next step is just to keep on going I need to get back on my bike harder be fake like come on it's not only for myself but it's to prove to everybody out there that you can overcome hard times like this such an amazing comeback story after coming back from such a traumatic experience and it was a shock the entire BMX community but the amount of support that you had on the internet not just for the community but the fans as well it's been absolutely amazing I've been following along with your progress ever since the accident well thank you Jamie it's been absolutely overwhelming but in such a positive way honestly that day changed my life forever but things are getting better every single day I'm working to get back on my bike and just recently I was able to sit on my BMX bike and actually right across the parking lot for the first time so I'm just I'm just going to keep on going with it you know it's positive things from here on out the negativism the path and I really can't complain about where I'm at right now Scottie absolutely thrilled to have you to brew for you seeing you down there but I love your spirit and great job on the road to recovery three-time X Games BMX park gold medalist right here Scottie Kramer up here in the booth tall in the action with me here today and by the way let's get to it we got two now we gotta have some gold medals here I'm so excited let's do it so twelve riders is it the field here now it's a little bit of a change from 2016 last year you had to have two good runs they were total together here in 2017 it's the best run that counts they're going to get three runs apiece the runs are 45 seconds in length and if you fall you come off the bike you do get to finish out your entire run you do get to use all of that time as we are in with our first competitor here this is Gary Young he's no stranger to the podium he has a gold medal from 2013 emptying Barcelona Jerian it's one of my favorite writers of all time me and him started about the same exact time we've been riding the sands together for about 14 years now I've been on plenty of trips of them Mormon my favorite people out there look at that downside don't pegged right around the border they're an original use of course for gathering over years now one of the things a lot more hearing BMX park it's all about flow yes you want to have the big trips but it's about how you wake it up through the different features here in the course you've got all these different gold corners it's kind of a chess match there's some strategy involved here it's how you link these things up and of course maintaining your speed and making it look good as you run through the 45 seconds of your run totally right and Gary Evans did a fantastic job of using the whole course and you're going to notice and hit kind of run like that that's what he does that so here we go he's going over the boxer backwards taking all from the mellower part of the landing and landing in the B part that takes a lot of control and precision right there so that's something that kind of goes unnoticed but extremely extremely difficult by the way they call that feature right there the shipwreck representing the Nordic heritage in the region right there that's a guidance for California ramp work because designers and builders of the course are calling that right there you've got the bow and the sprint part of that truck Gary on that highlight going over the middle section that best possible run score you can get by the way is 100 Gary Young decks the bar was a seventy eight point six six this is an X Games rookie he was an alternate last year comes into the party making the appearance here in the Toyota BMX park finals that was a valet Parker at Angel Stadium in Anaheim up until 2012 when he started making enough money as a BMX rider we can able to put his job and focus in on a riding bike well Larry Edgar is he coming in the sport right now and what he is known for its speed power and ice 360 nosedive over the box only again he could only Larry goes on so he goes through the wall for his table top you'll see the motor speed and a lot of style with this guy he's very broad when it goes come through and then ripple plucking invert Toyota featurette there they actually call that the ship sail so when you hear some heard of that that's what we're talking about their ties into the ship wreck feature here in the center part of the course here we go with the manual and he's going opposite direction that it usually goes it actually goes to the left now the 2 is right that balance you went around almost a quarter of the course they're going around that corner last couple of seconds of time here oh good gas into the sail right there so that's a good start for the xB rookie all right the five judges in the booth they're all working off of a 100-point scale high and low scores are taking taking out the remaining three are averaged together here's that big 360 you can see how he's looking down leaning over his shoulder has full confidence that spike is going to come around notice dive into this landing beautiful style as well that was actually amazing bottom down a little bit on that I'm actually impressed as to where he landed on that how he was able to maintain the speed but did you see how fast he was going through the whole corner there Scotty extremely sail honestly that's what you're going to see from these guys they want to bring C to the course so they can carry through and get to the obstacles go higher and give the tricks up and that's how that works I'm how you line all that stuff up to keep the flow and the continuity of your run going and that is he here in Toyota BMX park taking a look at Pat paste right here he's the owner of two-part metal you've got a bronze from 2012 and a silver for 2013 I wrote and wrote and presented I know Pat very well fantastic ride riders that is going to use picture could can also do baking sure meaning a history here we go we're with my employer to sell to a weird area though he wasn't happy with that one again he got lost right there and that'll definitely put off before there's still a lot of my month to try to salvage in here Wow there's the thank you here talking about victory secure safety and he has tapped into that roller perfectly whoa tail with talking areas they're taking off from Warren transits going to the other around that corner and Sherbourne think the distance across as you sail through that pocket and there is the bubbler so that will do it for pack easy but look at that look on back they pump through that bold corner right there just a slingshot through to get that speed the goals of these guys is not the pedal they want to be able to push around this course and bring the speed that they can here's the flare whip right here you can see Pat look for the pedals right there chances of winning speed coming into the Toyota sale perfect landing yeah they say it's hard to tell from that vantage point but that back tire was in the exact weak spot that you want it to be and so he will check in with a seventy five flat that will slide him into second place as of right now the ninth with others in it three runs out here in Toyota BMX market is the best of your three run to account that's the big change from last year last year at least two months old together here it's just your best of your three Mike Varga out of Canada this is his second X Games apparent this guy is known for going big on fox jump style elements and also be on the lookout for technical combos out of this gentleman right here when it comes to park riding bike Barger is of machine vehicle into the people that people had more coping on it so the things that we hold a pool yeah chunk in this thing has pool coping on it then you've got metal coping over on some of the shallower both corners right there you pull you sort of shipwreck razor's edge over it you know and the hips come quick where they're using that transition piece on the the bow of the ship right there and come off that little kicker into the stern session then that becomes a fact you know what I talk to a lot of the riders and they said that subscribing of course it's with every object that comes up at it just shows us how to know where you have to be ready for it beautiful eight head into the people to pick on the defenders well and he's gonna call it off right there alright do you think he wanted that cue pick at the end one is something else when just like I don't know how much time I got left under the buzzer I'll do a few pick right here yeah part of me thinks that he might have been to be looking for a toothpick divorcement in and I've seen too many of those awesome excellent extra extra technical variety possibly beautiful double tail whip over the one box jump going into the deep end here great air as well maybe thinking about another variation there the high mark to beat as of right now is a seventy eight point six six as we are a third of the way through the run order here in route number one out of three here Toyota BMX park final Gary Young currently sitting in the lead again best possible run score you can get up here today is 100 make it a little bit for that score to come in here Scotty that's okay the judges are talking it over having a bit of a conversation in that judges booth and a 74 flat for mr. argost so that will slide him into third we still have eight more riders left to go and this is just the first round out of three here so we had a BMX park final we're back live here inside the US Bank Stadium downtown Minneapolis Minnesota this is the Toyota BMX park final hello everyone Jimmy Coleman of the booth sitting here alongside Scotty Cramer we turn around and number one out of three we've seen four riders drop thus far Gary else sitting in the top spot with a seventy eight point six as we get set to welcome in Tucson Arizona Kevin Peraza your returning cult medalist for BMX dirt by the way but he's no slouch on the park course either Scotty not at all Jenna Barraza is fantastic if you see massive no-hander that shipwreck very visually comes alive he goes really high and he took a lot of definition on a trip you could see there with a tabletop at the end of that 363 in one combo move there and check out the style when KP is on course cruising into that poyo the sail feature he's really going on right now into a fantastic massive massive focalin rare oh look at that glare inward tabletop on now Lynette would be pretty she's kind of got a weird tweak on that with a player you'll hear that term a lot at the backflip with a 180 and look at that nose really G turn over the toyota sales fantastic great man all right he saw his partner back oh look out that was not intentionally did that by accident it still may have to write on that with a bus Patrick talked about how string talked about how that changes the dynamic cause you're hearing in your right away the handlebars they have actually meaning that they are curved and so imagine the bars come back where's the seventh point in different direction order what went what happened on that one we get this smile on his face that is a super stylish advert beautiful actually has a great shot of that great in Conservancy dress before we extension that send it that stuff the key words and everything he does is extended yes laughing about it shrug of his shoulders hey good save Kevin Peraza and in 81.6 six does inside a little adversity that style is rightly deserved because it puts him in the top spot as of right now this gentleman right here is a powerhouse when it comes to park riding he's got the pretty tech tricks but he's also got a smooth style and he is also a former part gold medalist this is Daniel sand of all daniel said of all is something else when it comes to park riding he has the ability to go so high to get the church going and somehow get a public look at that a player within that kind of cement bowl corner right there we got his gold medal and park at X Games often two years ago 2015 and looking at putting together a run here in round number one he's doing great he's got back-to-back tricks and that's what's so important about BMX park you cannot miss walls and you've got truck drivers on everything right now double sail what's in that bold corner 360 downside say look too late barspin he is doing exactly what Daniel Sandoval is going to do Oh flair Parchman as well yeah this kind of flat spins that out and just makes it look so smooth and that's not a very big transition right there in that part of the course and that is a solid run there for your 2015 Park gold medalist very solid run if I was going to compare Kevin to David's and a ball it's a little bit different but look at this dusty of flats been kind of five four details that he does kind of got a bit of an all-new transition to it they were his back tire oh yeah lamby just right it's barely made it in but hey he did it and with sty 0.33 so that'll put him in first and this is just the first round and we're not even through the run order yet remember it's three runs it's the best run that counts another daniel said to take his first run this is daniel dears he is a five-time BMX part gold medalist he's one of the few guys who has ever taken consecutive BMX golde actually coming in is it all turning into this event drew booze Anthon got injured and had to pull out so Daniel Dhers gives the knot here today yeah but Daniels starting out straight away with a 360 gap over from that quarter pipe in the NEBOSH gym on food to do so with a no hander you can see he brings a lot of speed he's really good at figuring out run beautiful courts of authority over the Box jump a few rotations around they're just kind of flat spins that out as you go through that the center part of that shipwreck feature Wow there was again look at the landings that we're seeing I mean everybody's coming in perfectly into the lip of that was the reason why he was a 5 times X Games gold medalist he knows how to play this game right here he's been practicing all week as an alternate he only got the nod yesterday so that's got to be a crazy feeling for him yeah two of those around where he had consecutive wins he had a 2007 to 2008 and again 2010 to 2011 Wow look at that flair invert right there great roses engine very good room how about that for coming in as an alternate this noted he was even riding he would confer on the competition until this morning there's the quarter 720 you can see he's completely off back to us he fortunately upside down and that's what gets him the ability to come in nose dive and land smooth on that box jump right there so solid for so far we've seen everyone put together runs here in this opening round so consistency has been the name of the game here in the opening round of Toyota BMX park final as we await the score here for mr. Derek he's going to check in with an 80 flat so that will slide up into third so right now it's and of all Arava and here's your top three we have five riders left to go AT&T presents inside access today we catch up with Topher Walker our next competitor hey I'm called Walker and 20 years old and from the rich in Wisconsin we're going to take a look at what I ride I ride a 21 inch total of EMS Caleb UK keyframes kind of all laugh signature frame really helps with like nose manuals and whipped handlebars I ride podium next get older BMX team z2 stems ODI long neck grips the soft compound grips and I love the way they feel twenty-eight to profile sprocket profile 170 cranks the pedals are premium slim pedals total BMX blackjack combo seat alienation felons rims with profile elite hubs they have really good engagement I love the noise something to be tires I ride or max descriptor tires both front and rear are two point one so that's my bike check I hope you guys enjoyed it thanks all my sponsors and everyone supports me in keeping rolling so that was a very thorough breakdown of the equipment that Colton is on here today now this is basically a home show here for him from just down the road at New Richmond Wisconsin he's got a slew of family on hand here in the sand and he is an extra key here in round number one he saw the runoff big : I'm a huge fan of look at him with a winner within that bull corner still keeping the speed going this guy is phenomenal on his bike and seeing them over the years is getting better and better it's still amazing he's a two-time winner of the BMX triple event at the nitro world dance as well also competing in dirt this weekend out here in X Games Minneapolis a lot of great flow so far from quoting I'm noticing everything he's hitting he's got speed he's got control and that's what the judges want to see and we've got unique cap off the ship right into the deep end right there with the Taylor youngest BMX competitor out here in Minneapolis this weekend it one piece years old what does he do with this lap little bit of time here and another player to end it off that's a good start school I really like that talk about coming into this being an X Games rookie and getting out here and doing this in front of all the fans that the cameras rolling it's got to be through nerves because he's uh he's good at what he does you know he's comfortable at riding his bike and this sore he feels at home so look at that back foot bar spin beautifully delivered supply great to the landing great speed as well but for me I never had a home court kind of competition so I can't keep forum exactly but it's got to be just a feeling when you're family showing up that that will slide up into second place within eighty two point three three we've got four or four riders left to go here in round number one more the Toyota BMX part Vince why don't we come back after this message and a word from our ABC station well within the city limits Minneapolis has 12 count of 12 lakes that are 10 acres or larger swimming sailing running and biking are all popular activities here in Minneapolis total staff nugget there on our host city and biking by the way it's very popular here today inside the US Bank Stadium here at the Toyota BMX park final as we get set to see the bottom 4 in the run order here in round number one out of three this is Nick Bruce he won the road to X Games qualifier last month in Boise Idaho to earn his spot to compete here today Scotty I'm a huge fan of Nick Bruce riding a lot of power when it comes to this guy extremely high have some difficult Rick on hand he's ready to go study business at Youngstown State University but took the time off to pursue his BMX career in here look at that round one he's pursuing 45 seconds of retinas on course what a way to start he goes right in with a under flip gap oh man loosing on that oh he's up looks like he's okay he's alright he's got a roofie spiraling Nemecek you're basically dropping out of a two-storey with you at that weight and landing on concrete you're getting up and you're smiling that's Nick Bruce he's one of the toughest guys I've ever seen on a BMX bike he's done that kind of crest before I hate to say it but Nick Bruce he's uh he knows what he's up against I don't tell you what if that boys be contest he slammed so hard his first ride and they got back up and then what's the top qualifier after picking a huge knock and that was a concrete partner in Boise Idaho as well well it's almost like a free plane because that was the same exact trick that took him out in the boys club so it's three run it's your best friend the count so he's obviously going to shake that one off and hopefully put that one in the back of his mind and look to round number two this guy right here has some rapid firepower when it comes to some high-tech trick talking about Kyle Baldock from Australia look out this guy's got a deep arsenal and he fires them off in rapid succession Kyle has invented many a tricks and he's got some insane moves just like that back post double tail all he hung up his back wheel on that one incentive in that's not the way you want to start right there oh not very characteristic of Kyle ball box however with the format you do get three rounds it's the best friend account you do get to use the rest of your time although most these guys know with a ball but that's going to take a lot more so they end up waving that up well it's so competitive now it is you have so many good guys that are ready to bring their best runs every time so balls are going to pretty much eliminate your channel well here's another powerhouse when it comes to green the technical tricks this is Logan Martin in his second X Games appearance we've talked about him at the top of the show coming in is your silver medalist from last year and look out here cups of hi-tech moves there we saw with a triple K up for some excel that was today becomes fast that happens - yeah you so he's the technician that day was landed a little bit lower right there and the others hit the Box jump I know he's not happy about that one but let's see what he carries this momentum news letter downside weird landing it perfect in that transition just right under the coping on that one beautiful 360 no hander in off the shipwrecks and look at the weight did he just flows through the course and linking up the different features there all right in the shallow pocket 540 player is their first time we stole that one today oh man and he still got a couple of seconds left here to go he's doing really good I know it's not exactly what he wanted as a run but he's got to feel great about this that he has the recipes already and there's an album player pointing the different direction and usually attorneys if you said that wasn't the run that he wanted to look pretty different good to me and that's the thing he doesn't feel fantastic about that so here we go this should be the five forty Flair you can see he contorts his body straightens out to get the rotation opens up and looks and spots landing brings it back into the transition odds away alright you needed eighty five point three three or better if you're going to take over the lead which is held by Daniel sand of all as of right now ten eighty six point six six and your silver medalist from last year this in the top spot here in round number one so great first round for him but he can film on that now going into round two and three but man there was so many good things going on in that run there Dennis Anderson is up next we had a chance to catch up with him and learn about what takes to keep him going hi I'm Dennis Anderson and I ride XD and BMX parts between contests and film trips I'm on the road pretty much half of the year so I really like to take advantage of being home and taking care of my body so that when I'm out riding I feel 100 percent the main thing with riding has always kind of been my back since I was 17 it's bugged me you know it hasn't affected me to the point where I thought I was gonna have to quit or anything I just had to learn to make health conscious decisions with eating healthier and anti-inflammatory foods and completely committing to stretching before and after I ride and with that it's pretty much been amazing I just gained so much knowledge on how to take care of it it's a pretty simple process it's just gotta stay committed to it and it's worth every little session I'm stretching or out there at the gym whatever like every bit of it's worth it to feel a hundred percent of my bike good advice to younger riders I think would like if you have lower back problems there's so much you can do to fix it and laying around and riding through the pain is definitely not the option that's just going to prolong everything and you will get to a point where it's so bad you can't ride anymore so just look into a little bit there's so much you can do so a little bit of insight into the world of Dennis Anderson and his training regimen there he had gone into last year's event with three silver Park metals and one bronze and traded it up for the shiniest one you can get he is you're defending hard gold medalist but this guy's an all-around talented rider this guy can get it done whether it's art dirt or Street well look at that starting off with a mess of Chow at Gap I'm sorry look at that 360 suicide no hander double bar spin this is a really great run so far he's got a lot of flow and he's using hips that no no one has used in the competition that's part of that creativity look finding some original lines that dennis is known for Canadian knows but they're putting the throw meal on the coping very difficult he has a lot of precision when you're on you guys will notice that I was good but again going back to something I mentioned earlier look at the style look at the flow flow and can't do with neither runner very very key factors here in Toyota BMX park and what we miss right there he just did a cannonball Horseman across there and precision reach there double star I just step onto that and this is the deep at all that alone that's just balance and bike control right there the stall on the front tire and coming backwards in the deepest part of the bowl no less that's terrifying I could tell you as a professional BMX rider it had a big certainly hard trick so here's the backflip it's kind of like over a hip a little bit you can see how he turned his head in with spot complaining instead of looking straight down and I'm pretty blown away by that run he had a lot of a lot of tricks that a surprise that we meshed together into a run and he had it was very fluid throughout yeah fluidity is a great tournament describe one of the things that the judges are looking for so they'll despite that flip up at the end and eighty five point six six oh you're defending gold medalist will slide in a second so we've completed round number one out of three your top three is of right now it's Martin Anderson in stand of all we'll have more Toyota BMX park final when we come back well back to X Games Minneapolis 2017 Toyota BMX park final here inside this state-of-the-art NFL facility the US Bank Stadium we've completed round one out of three and this is where we stand as of right now at last year's silver medalist Logan Martin sitting in the top spot your defending gold medalist from last year Dennis Anderson sitting in second and it's your 2015 Park gold medalist Daniel Sandoval sitting in third however there's still two more rounds left to go here is the best running count Gary Young is up text right now take a look the carry Young's life and club time he brings his own cheering section when it comes to these events I'm Gary Young 34 years old from San Diego California set two great kiddos Lena she's five and Lincoln he's h2 when I'm not on the road and riding the contest and dolmen doing all that fun stuff when I get home I could just be dad and that's such like a overwhelming responsibility but at the same time so rewarding and sometimes I'm lucky enough to even bring them with me to events and basically making your own cheer section is pretty rad going to contest and everything it can be like a lot of pressure like it's all pressure that I put on myself so when the kiddos are around it's nice to like see them like just remember like it's just kids bikes there's anything that's supposed to be serious this is just having fun and they couldn't care less if I win lose or whatever and at the end of the day like still good to be dad so very rewarding in itself when you do well and you have an ice-cream party excuse Marty he brought the whole family out to divert qualifier his hometown in San Diego and then I brought the whole crew out to Boise for the Rotex Games qualifier Dino what are the best things ever was this gold medal interview in Barcelona mm baby with holding his daughter Lina I guess she got a little camera-shy she was just screaming through the entire interview and he never broke stride was it was absolutely epic well that's Gary right there he's not going to try it it all right here look at that turn end gasps looks very very interesting look at how fast he was going come out of that do the four corners that's what he's known for speed there we go an opposite petal face look back that's very interesting that cook Gary Young and he styled out that 360 going over the gap there as they tell they're leaning back into the shipwreck with an opposite it looked like a truck driver oh look at that downside double peg around the bull Corning it's going to be the only rider you see doing that today throwing some extremely tech Lake trip flip trick combos into the mix here as we hit the 10 all wheel are here for rubber that one right there 360 Caleb over backwards let's let me just a regular 360 so Oh combo move 2 & 1 they're going over the hip this is really cool to see Gary's firing all cylinders right hand that's going to do it for run number 2 Gary young again it's three runs it's the best run that counts Gary starts off round number two as we take a look at some high land there's a 360 whip I was talking about he went over the Box backwards landing in the steep part which is extremely difficult and scary so we found that back tire and yeah but Gary knows how to get through that so Gary was in seventh with his first run scores at seventy eight point six six we can end up with a seven seven point three three this go-around so he will stay in seventh place as over right now that is very Edgar clicks fourth or better three times on advanced BMX Pro Cup this season full competition that's what yet that's what Larry's known for he goes extremely high he's got a special kind of pump and for me it's BMX rider I understand where pump it but look how he pushes into the ramp and he just goes so high every single time these are real powerhouse actually out there riding through some pain and adversity right now suffered a broken right hand prior to coming here to Minneapolis City still out there competing County look at him he's flying he's not holding back at all right now look at how high he boosted into that Toyota fail and that's why he's winning those pole competition because he goes that high come with the manual line let's see if he can connect it right here oh you had to put the front wheel down it's difficult cuz you have to go uphill and that changes your balance point trying to hang out of that balance point going around that corner as well and you get over to Flair on the Toyota sale past time that was kind of weird kids the throw could go to verdicts reset back a little bit you got to pop off of that thing get away from the lip all right so here's Larry this is a flair at the end of this run that we were just talking about yes the thing is very steep but it's also laid back differently than a quarter pipe so it gives you some leeway so you don't have to worry about landing at the coping in cases it's kind of drawn out that way and it makes us comfortable to actually try new tricks on because it's a higher landing all right he is the 63 flat just go around so he's going to stick with that first run score that's got him in 10th place as of right now Pat Casey currently sitting in 8 out of 75 classics I'm pretty sure out there first go around but don't count this guy out he's guys leave another one those guys with as a deep arsenal of technical combo tricks pay close attention to those handlebars with this guy upon course now JC has done many of worlds first trick his riding style is there's a truck driver to tail over there bring to a portion and no hander on the deep end even in the top back to go bet if you're not paying close attention you won't win something and there's a bortion flare on the sail as well that is really getting together in now I wonder people would you incorporate some fakie tricks there's the flare coming into this whole corner yeah that was really really impressive over there because that's the smaller transition section of his course a little step-up area we laid it a little lower right there but I'm still happening you know it's good it's not really ruining his vibe with the trucks was going to be terrible he looked a little off at that point because we saw strict repetition there he went for that flat spin Claire moved twice there in this run but you can tell them that comments threw off its below a little bit especially when he bought him down in the second when it got long yeah I think he was aiming for something different right there but sometimes you'll pop up the rim you can feel it that things are right so you have to if it's a birthday plan so there is the truck driver throws the bar spoon catch spitting thank you teyla plate fine fettle come now which is amazing yeah you're three trig in one combo right there on that replay so he too will pick with that first run score it has over right now and that will keep him in a plate keep in mind though if three run it's the best of your three runs two count so it was still far from over and very much up for grabs as we welcome back a anout Mike Vargas with Mike currently sitting at night yeah Mike Bargo he's definitely going to opt it right now I know he found some way to have some jitters right there that will sail us into the deep end off the box jump little can-can to keep things going pumping around the bowl corner trying to maintain speed a two-man secret truck driver on a bit more rotation on the 350 about 450 degrees now that tail braid that it was opposite so it's a little bit it's gorgeous dude like a regular day old you get so used to it when you come off the tricks like that it it you got a whole different spin to it see how he just slingshot through that bowl corner after the bar spin combo there then again perfect trying to do that over that hip and you can't come around a full 500 on that that is impressive very impressive and like it's going through that kind of stuff Jesus love eight then these guys give him routines well fixing before so there'd be a 10 again you can see he straightens his body gets in the perfect access to make the rotation come all the way around great execution alright so he had a 74 flat from round at number one you see what this does for him here so seventy nine point three three for him so that will slide him up into seven plays rx games Minneapolis coverage continues today at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Eastern on ESPN with the Moto X debe that's women best Rick finals the myths keyboard Street and pig ear finals and the women's skateboard park final you can also watch the X Games streaming live on the ESPN app so a big day on tap out here for day three out of four X Games Minneapolis here down zip Kevin Peraza we certain ways the road to X Games it was a qualifying event Boise Idaho the concrete skate park that's how he earned his mark invite and he is in right now for 45 seconds to run number two kevin has extreme extreme style on every tricky that look at that 360 tail delay invert beautiful as well extremely high and he had to trick the Box backwards doing a 360 downsized a of the opposite direction Kevin Stephen Grabill mental I'm really curious see how he plays out the rest of the runner here in remember he looks kind of shopping to the Internet person he was shrugging his shoulders I was shocked by the store but he's off to a good start here in round 2 ooh a little bit lower there but it's keeping it going it's not going to totally kill the score there was really 360 again I don't know how he has that trigger style if he does but you know what that's Kevin Crossing you did some of those text stream skills right there up on the niches amazing stuff in several he's got to feel great about this drug just showcasing some bike control here we go to preaching to tell he kicked the place out like that be able to pull the tail tabletop inward perfectly flat some BMX rise to a wishing tabletop is flat if you didn't eat there were tail looking for it and there's the tabletop inside of the flare and he throws that the opposite direction that you usually would really cool if your trick all right now we had an 81 sick sick the first car on and we have tracked and we wanted out and now I'd be point three three give it Khurana is your new leader here in world number two our final score is there that she must be oh my goodness I can only imagine that's one having a jerk old metal that you're coming off when you go into the park now you're in first place right now well what that done is it just made that gentleman slide out of the podium as of right now Daniel Sandoval was sitting in third he now slides before so he gets the chance to answer back here and try to repay the favor there we go with the truck driver to leave hail Sara boom he just did a smash Enver but he landed flat something looks mechanically Roman it's like maybe pump each other well I think he's going to wave off the throne right here yeah you see him put it on the hand up right there he's going to call it there you get if there's a fall or you step off the bike you do get to use all 45 seconds of time in the round exciting new adjust save that and preservation going into round number three let's take a look now at a day in the life is to be my name is Brienne cougar I'm an explosive ordnance disposal chief petty officer also known as AoE tech I wanted to be a stunt woman when I graduated college but instead I joined the Navy so I could serve my country and still jump out of airplanes scuba dive and blow stuff up but sighs speaking care of IEDs we're also responsible for taking care of chemical ordnance radiological materials as well as all these other types of surface ordnance that could be under the water today today is never the same the most important thing I think is to stay open to opportunities to say yes to as much experience in your life as possible because you never know where those experiences will take you see more of America's Navy at youtube.com slash taxes little inside of one of the many careers available at Navy comm here in round number two we now have a new leader it is that gentleman right there Kevin Parata sitting in the top spot we still have several more riders to go and then one more round we've got more of the tune of BMX part men's final when we come back after this message and a word from our ABC station welcome back inside the US Bank Stadium here in the appleís Minnesota this is the Toyota BMX park final we are in round two out of three and we told you the top two show in the lap 7 capacitive ents we've had Severn excuse me seven different gold medalist and a handful of them here in the lineup today Jayhawk not here in Minneapolis and of course Scottie Cramer stood here in the booth alongside myself caught on the action but that just goes to show about the parity in the field and how this is such the depth of the field is so insane here in Toyota BMX park this is Daniel Dhers he's got five gold medals in this event he comes into this as an alternate he's riding for the injured Rupa's Anthony didn't even know he was in the competition until this morning and as of right now he currently sits in sixth place after his first run score Scotty seen he had a really good run but I think he's going to off the tricks on pit row and I think he's going to get him a better score so let's see what he does yeah he's another guy that is known for firing off just back insane combos so the run so far is very similar we're gonna see a different trick oh we took the hands arms at the 20 that time beautiful execution is what we're talking about Albin and you get five runs where you can get 100 points it's the better of your three runs and hopefully get you on the podium when there's a nobody can can tell if that is the game the dirt signature style move right there let's see what he's got open the box another truck chopper to lean into the bull corner and hitting over the hip with another 270 today with blended a little bit lower he served on momentum he's going to say he brought him down that just a little bit but he had a pretty good recovery out of that to keep the momentum going oh and there's the Flair about the they close it that's a great way to finish off that run right there you always have to start and run over the bank then you have to end it with a bang as well but here's my favorite part of his run the cork seven to one eat no hander you completely upside-down sponsons landing gets hands back on the grips and gets ready to land amazing alright so what's this do to the store you're going to need an eighty five six pics are better freaking the crap into that top three right now is Kevin Peraza Logan Martin's Dennis Anderson sitting in those top three spots as I mentioned before getting up here was in six three run there and he'll move up one spot so he's slightly improving they're still one more run to go for him get best run counts as we run through this so knocking on the door you can fit place as of right now close the walkers 20 years old as that graphic says the joke is BMX at least here at minneapolis this year urban minneapolis a family member with the new richmond wisconsin when he was seven which is about a 50 minute drive away if you're into the whole geography side of things we've got a lot of family on fam here today currently sitting in sixth place whoa oh man that was a back with a flare say oh it's too late horseman right there she's moved that would help with its cord so much he actually started off with an opposite double tail with 360 so that was a really good start : Wow I hate seeing runs n that quick you know if once you get in the flow of things that's when things are set and then you've got that momentum that's going to carry the rest of your run so stop on your second trick it's a tough one I think there's play into that all the rookie well nerds remember what rookie or not the biggest competition of the year for these guys the next up is Nick Bruce and he's feeling pretty good pretty solid coming in to X Games Minneapolis mixer I'm learning that there's more mentality than anything in the sport so I've been really trying to read about psychology and it's really helping me as far as growing as a person and feeling really confident now all of this is insanely physical but it's also quite the mental game as well I totally agree with that I've been there before when I count myself out in the competition and the warmth you're against yourself you can't believe in your own riding how are you ever going to compete against anybody else well dick Bruns currently fits in 11 flame he had a slip-up in that first run that was gravy right there he pulled it off he will reap some memory of round number one and get back at it here in round number two and look at the height there Scotty all right Nick he's having a couple bottles right here and it's not exactly what he wants to do but he needs to get on the board right now he get his feet way coming into the box of area so he discard it farm in a little bit he's going to give it some bit chair fill at that spot forty flag because this is also practice for his next rung all right so he put himself in a bit of a pressure situation there threw over that one off it's going to come down to that third and final run for Nick bruised and there's that 540 flare that we've solved from Logan I believe and so he's the one doing it right there and that's a crazy trick but uh you know what like I said sometimes the run doesn't go to plan and you know that even if you finish it off the bets where you can it's not going to be enough but you know what you want to go out there and you can use this as practice you want to get your blood flowing again because when you sitting on the deck that was my next question you have a lot of time to think between your next run what does that do to your mindset it's hard you got to do a lot of mental right so well here was called Bulldog dropping in very excited to see what this guy brings to the table he had a hang-up there and run number one he picked in 12th place right there oh no oh no he lost his speed a little bit let's see beaten carry some momentum get back in the groove all right there's a ball doc you could do depth and more trick than 350 with so this might be the same situation when you're just trying to get on the board a little bit here in loosen up understate see Micah took up a couple of seconds a couple of walls to kind of regroup and get his mind focused back on the run it happened this is the biggest stage you know you want to bring your best work to do this Eckstein scores and I know Acosta's going to get the board right now with a solid run [Music] how do we do that which insurance transition when you're as good at cowboy bucks you can do that on a short transition so here's the back with double taalib a great form everything looks perfect but his speed coming out of that bowl counter drifted was this wasn't enough to get by you can see he just tagged a tiniest bit and that momentum disrupted what he was doing ah that's it you can see the frustration and he's tapped the right hand of the grumman love women this is twice but at least be smiling keeping that positivity roll in Logan Martin he was in the lead Kevin Peraza took the lead away from so he sits in a silver medal as of right now your silver medalist from last year and X Games often he's in for round number two well here it goes starting off with that triple tail again I'm assuming he's going to do the same sort of run because there's a couple of things I know he did not want in that run I saw him go over to box jump straight and that's not Logan line D well there you go we have the 360 Double Down side Taylor instead of the straight jump like we got the last time Dowdell flair he's landing it and still pumping she puts both tires down right underneath the coping somehow manages to pump out of that maintain or actually get speed out of it triple truck driver over that is Blair a lot of crazy features on the trucks below tomorrow you do Purdue on those out here today look at that combination backward force conduct no hander of the Box shown that is three tricks and one there as he makes his way through the box jump is the opposite Blair and there is another solid performance for your defending silver medalist that was a great run you know I think in fairness for a drone I think it's going to go I just leave I wanted you to walk that plank daddy yeah I'll do it because it was he had three jump in that one run and he switched it out for a 360 double downside officer tailored extremely difficult extremely difficult so expected to jump on us alright in 87 point three three you are absolutely right it does improve the score but it will not improve the placing so he will stay in second place here that be bought a portion of round of number two out of three here Toyota BMX park final so there is your defending gold medalist from last year he currently sits in a Brock battle position now the pretty he's already had one little slip-up at the end to come into being after stalling on the front tire at the deep end I'm still have time on the clock so that's called each town he gets the run but it still has a bit of bronze metal position as of right you've got to feel great about that he got to be end of the run all he has to do is get that together so going over that massive sale of BBC over the over to the quarterpipe 360 with Sandow handers structure on a double truck driver and he's hit very nearly hitting not many people I don't think anybody because those economy never Dennison gatech so much style so much flow related a little low enough lid but no got ripple venom for the church is doing on the right track I believe who Street jump there he did it doesn't go that far alright but he's not feeling it here around the pursuit that he's going to wave that one off you can see that he got hung up in the middle of the run there and that's all it takes one little slip-up and it just it can throw off your entire mind bit of what you plan to go out there and do the judges are looking perfection the riders are looking for perfection these guys know that that were wrong wasn't going to be good enough so the Warren why risk your yourself as well if you want to go push it to the limit these guys are the best in the world and they were doing the craziest tricks in BMX right now so if you would went for that switch and fakie on that 11 foot drop into a concrete bowl you know do it when you have a perfect run you see wave that off he's like hat I'll see you round at number three guys so we've completed two rounds out of three here in Toyota mint BMX park final and the top three as of right now it's Kevin Peraza Logan Martin and Dennis Edison however there's one more round to go it's the best run that counts who's taking the gold we'll find out when we come back here inside the US Bank Stadium a temp gig Minneapolis 2017 in the applet day 3 of 4 here inside the US Bank Stadium 50 is the Toyota BMX park final Jimmy Coleman here in the booth alongside got a cream of branches down there in the field we've completed two rounds out of three here in this park final right now it's Kevin Peraza Logan Martin and Dennis enters it pitting in the top three it is the best run that counts it's far from over as we go back up to the start order one more time at a welcoming area currently sitting in a place Gary a former Park boat that he got his gold medal in Barcelona Spain in 2013 and he's in for his final with him Jerry had two great run so far a lot of speed a lot of style glad to Gary air right there who worked him over the Box jump he's doing a brief if you look back would be actually fitting it's pedaled around to get that first pretty impressive right there the jiff to reset the best possible run scored you can get is 100 point this is round number three there Gary goes with it Robert leaving it to the downside old peg in that whole corner I love that Jerry but huge fan of that look at how he just linked these things up these different elements there's so many different things that this course has to offer and Gary just linked them up and rapid-fire succession over the years riding with Gary I've seen him show the countless skate bars and he just sees them so differently than any other person he sees such available life option two Wikus el aloo paratha bet on that 540 on that that wall right visa what we call the Chloe on a tail so there you go he's spinning his feet backwards to click the turn down right there and then after he lands can you drive from the feed will left forward usually and look at he's blending with his right one that's really uncomfortable forest we're not used to that at all so that's pretty difficult so would you carry on now I'm pretty excited to see what his scores on this point even know that crash was there because he doesn't have a lot of speed and you have a lot of style and we're going to come to your work at her ghost and future filling it was a conduit tactics which is the same as his first run skewer there now a minivan Larry Edgar flex roving synonym Safari 6.33 he out there doing this with a broken right and goofing with that tabletop 350 yes change it up crank the tabletop in there another table top over the Toyota sale look at the speeders guy this guy is fantastic at pumping around skatepark clicking link like that no-handed stable top are you able to hold onto the handlebars of the broken right-handedness Roger theory level and a Bart Bart yeah that's crazy to me again hilarious up there there's something in the way so we met the manual I don't know if we did it drop in and out he's got 15 seconds left it was a great scene who keep on riding but and each other right there in the runs with 45 seconds in link you do need to use all the time to spy to fall but he says I'm going to call it right there but you gotta you got to give this guy props for going out there and doing this with a broken right hand is making all three of his run he got fresh out of surgery he has the scar still on his hand but somehow he's able to hold on to the handlebar keep it going so what's respecting Casey the owner of cue Park medel's he's got one for 2012 FDLE has got a broad one and a silver from five to go to Brazil in 2013 he currently sits in 10th place and he's not happy about that one he needs to get to come together right now in a couple little bottles that are messing up the momentum but there goes with a flat rate except our signature packing styler is there jumping into that soup rack that's pretty high he want to hide got the single into it downside whip up on the Toyota sail double charter leading into the deep end he's got a good flow right now there's a flair for speed it has to still fasten that short transition and again the landing on that is crucial oh there's another one right there of blair-taylor and that's the same cotton transition it doesn't look pretty but they're able to give this turns around I don't have on those shorts readmission he makes it look really really good though and he hits those back he gets that back tire rider to the coping when he does need kind of thing on these short transition you're right there's not much level of you know forgiveness when you're going through there but here's the prefix detail we've got a lien on his shoulder that's how packing been doing them since he was a young teenager very original I like how you referred to that as a level of predictive since you're absolutely right idea there's none of those short short transitions so deputy five flats the best if you got him that was round number one so he will get a 78 that will be the best of his three and a move up one problem lighted into ninth place Mike Varga get ready drop near currently 57 his second run is the fact of the two that we've seen out of hand up bar so it's here's my version of what he did on the last one Dulce Oh house I think he was looking for a forest in there I think he froze and I think that's when I realized that he was in a sticky situation but he's out he's on his feet good to see him get up and ride away from that one there and tough break there on that third and final run that'll leave him in seventh on the day there's a shot of your current leader who by the way it comes into every video places you're defending dirty gold medalist he's working at a potential park gold medal as of right now we still have eight riders left to go here it rounded number three the plenty more still to go here from Toyota BMX park title inside the US Bank Stadium we've got some business to attend to here for the Toyota BMX part final we've got eight more riders left to go and there is a shot of your current leader Kevin parantha look at that scores daddy in 90 point three three and he got in round number two a huge score and I'm expecting the same kind of rotting in this run right here Kevin he works up a positivity he always brings it he shares it and look at him going right now beautiful music - one-handed tables up over the Box jump going over the Box backwards with a 360 opposite downside to it straight into the can camp honestly and how am I going to keep on commentating he does a strict overture to the trick I'm going to say he's obviously feeling them momentum after that run number two score because his energy seems to be intensified here in the third final round Wow this run is amazing so far I'm really curious to see how this continues it's a 360 nose manual again typical trick there's so much down just so much technique into that but looking at each other open that time he work with an opposite downside one is now look at him again [Applause] chef's brought some blue let's take a look at this replay right now rut you buy diffic you so look at this Superman seat grab classic style perfect execution making every BMX rider proud on that one constraining to the Baltimore they're transferring from one to the other it's very unnatural so stop right there the very end of the run after all that to have that flip up right there in the end he's still in first by the way by virtue of that run number to score that 90 point 3 3 is a monster score you've got three points against everybody else right now so NAB you'll stand along this one spot outside of the top three looking in the best friend we've seen unto him from round one at eighty five point three three all right Dennis edible a starting it outreach downside silk into the pole corner he just fantastic stuff on the defense beautiful look Oh sweetie plumped out of that way this guy had so much power any not the biggest guy out there because there something about the wager on this bike it's so strong a lot of technical wounds are deaf until to polish thing he does whiplash through the corner convert quick succession they're looking for going and clearly got a couple corners and walk away beautifully themselves out of that back see going Blair Boston into a Salem buddy Blair somebody's hungry to cut back into the top three right now that will do it for the third battle rubber its dependable a lot of back of that tripped on that well let's see what we got right here oh boy here we go 360 with and as he catches it you could see he just kicks back the other way with one foot all my perfect look at finds of like continues on and rips around the bowl corners at hunt speed yeah I mean huge slingshotting it fast forward through those things alright in eighty five point six are better if you're going to crack into the top three right now that number three spot held onto by Dennis Anderson not anymore daniel-san Duvall jumps up into a bronze metal spot it bumps you're defending gold medalist down the forest however Dennis gets to ride laughs by virtue of being your defending gold medalist but on my mind things are shaping up here in round at number three Daniel dear he's barely on the outside looking at remember he has five part gold medals to his name he currently sits in the number five position see what he is able to do with this next 45 seconds remember best possible run score you can get is 100 and it's the plant run that counts Daniel due to this kind of situation dropping in this at the 20 courts again you didn't take off the hands from as far as I could see well there's the hand right there don't hit her on the toyota sale double whip I'll take that from this last one into another 720 okay so he's now playing to plant even seven twenties are awesome to that left rear and position right yeah give her the score really confused but why he did that hm he wanted Redemption after not hands up the bar the first time around the putt he tried again yeah you know a David Daniel Hurley with the work like that he does do repetition like that he knows what the judges are looking for so that was that was very interesting but nonetheless he still has a good run going on pump it around the bowl corner he's only got five seconds left let's get the ends on a thing has made a final seconds ticking away here for Daniel Dhers record show right there to hammer the point home we're not picking order to run like that but true repetition is one of the things as the judges are looking for and that will count against restore you're totally right but here's the double tail he all took from the last time he was doing single was over that same exact gap so that's definitely a plus but not sure why he didn't 720 type pointer they're very unlike enemies always succeed see a little bit shocked by that double whip is here they're their eighty two six sixes when he got around to pursue consistency is the name of the game for him so that will be the same score that he gets in round number three so that will keep him in fifth place we'll stop by there being an alternate that's kind of feel pretty good for ya exactly coming into this thing not even know when you were going to ride this morning and out your 6/5 X Games rookie in the lineup here currently sitting in sixth place right here let's see what he throws into the mix of the third and final attempt to try to jump up into podium contention so far so good showing up at the briefing you all [Applause] Bart's been a very very technical huge trick right there so the right carries its momentum the group was perfect in the deep end delivers with a cheer up driver backwards over the Bob jump good speed as well carrying grimmelman start here the department downside sail with tetanus is a shipwreck televisions the deep end right there you just got to hang on for a handful more to sweat right there's a silver bar spent to find so much going on in that sugar you really have to get what goes on in that crystal what a rubber or cold Walker yeah we really need to explain to everybody watching exactly how hard that trick is right here so coming up this would be the flare whip to barsen see he does it they'll jet ski in the petals roses bars somehow avoid side legs that are in the wind right there clearly yeah it's amazing oh and we didn't see the requisite weeks I mean it's a farce mane and tail whipping at the same time he's completely letting go of a bike and both parts are spinning independently of one another if the trick that should be impossible but somehow he makes the possible but we're going to fighters it up like it doesn't so an eighty six point six Nick's that we're about to spot is good enough report but a great job there by the rookie we still have a handful more riders left to go here in round number three Kevin Peraza still hitting in the lead with Deborah more riders look with you there of the far course here and Toyota BMX park final look at the right side you streets Chris Foster about ready to sender I'd say to annex the Augusta step up coming up a little bit later on basically motorcycle high jump get set to go on over there step-up always a fan favorite here at the x-games but another heavy fan favorite is vm x mark final and we still have four riders left to go kevin Peraza this in the top spot as of right now this gentleman right here Nick Bruce is due up next you got a rough go Scotty Cramer the first to go around here talk about the pressure that he's possibly feeling right now if you get set to drop for this 35 though of this kind of pressure right here this is makes or breaks your run this could actually be the best thing to motivate him and get him God to get the point that he needs to Landy's treachery well he saw a little video piece with him earlier talking about the mind game because it appraised do a 360 flip over the box show Bruce is making it happen right now kid you have to hang on for a full 45 seconds so try to impress the judges site 350 invert another downside we're they're going into the deep end cell then I think he's going to end this one all to the beggary then let's see what he's got maintaining that speed near the handful of second ticking off the clock here for neighbors whooping my goodness our stroke right there just moved out of vision the into that Wow Wow that's getting to the end your run right there that's frickin so insane well here we go with the 360 flip over the Box jump perfect form looking and spinning upside down waiting the spine is landing and bring it in absolutely amazing Wow he was knocking on the door right there he's all the way down in 12 and that flip up the end going to only give him at 76 oh he's going to have to settle for 10th place but man he was doing he was putting it together he was making it happen Kyle Baldock is another you needs to make it happen right now he too has had to handle some adversity here he sits in a Lebanon place right now all three of these guys that are going right now have potential the winners competition so this is going to be unreal so far so good for Bulldog he went with the flip with this time conserve the foot some work so it looks like he trying to simplify his run to get a good enough score and let's see what he can do with it maybe just change it up the mindset from that part of the Oh losing his feet on that landing right there on that 360 whip to whip back the problems continue here in round three as he flips a panel of that throws it off and pace yeah big time they've cleared outside webs well yes sir it's hard I've been here before when you messed up in the beginning of your running you can't get your momentum back if it's everything has to work instinct for it to be perfect he's having a couple little tacks here and there but you know what he's sorted a simplified booty flare for the family that was beautiful again I'll do it there for Kyle ball box double duty out here this weekend riding in BMX park as well as BMX dirt if we got a replay right here this is the flare tail whip perfect hustlers that corner plugins you can see there is concrete at the top that is going to make the quarter but March deeper I see a long guy checking it which is very surprising actually so he said it was an 11-3 run he will get in 74 next to fifty four three three to be pissed I will leave him his pants on the day there with two riders left to go this gentleman is currently sitting in a silver metal position which is where he came into the evade he's our silver medalist from last year Logan Martin in for his third and final run where it started off with the triple whip again Logan is a fantastic writer everything he does is so precise so calculated and hit solid riding he tried to on this one so he did in second shot with was our perfect going into CJ jumping to the shipwreck music no hander on him he could remember in the drums [Applause] that one that was the double rubber there he hung up and lost momentum and that's going to be a tough one to pull off what committees got well he's trying to change oh goodness that's it he Jack going over the Box jump feature there so that was a back look largely too late Dallas imagine trying to spin the bar is upside down and get itself within that little bit of that box jump there that's so difficult it really is that was the shot at your current leader Kevin feroz's hitting the top spot with a 90 point three three and we look at some highlights here from Logan Martin's his hand was even on the handle bar when he kicked the Taylor that's how these guys they work also it's kind of like a momentum you have your checklist but when you're running that fast and doing tricks everything has to happen you know in sequence and for him his hand wasn't on the grip when you kick the tail that had to be terrifying so he got out the best way possible even though he had their gold laying on the concrete he bounced back up on his feet these guys are it's tough again your current leader Kevin Bravo we know he's going to leave here with a park metal we know that Logan Martin is going to leave here with it parka metal it all comes down to this last runner right here remember it's the best rumack count this is your defending gold medalist its BMX park from last year he currently sits in a 5th place position it all comes down to this final run right here can he jump back into potent contention he can t take the lead away from Kevin Peraza big tail drop and he has the final say right now and that's exactly where he wants to be but that was a huge mess that he went with his 360 instead of the suicide double shrug that he was doing the other run so let's see if he can make up for it come up with something very interesting here but be honest with you keep chasing I was actually right there and guys are looking for perfection in these runs they're looking for originality and everything so this is not what that is exactly warrants play it's still possible he can get in the medal position if he lands something crazy at the end here well that was fantastic that was the Cannonball barspin perfectly executed he's been doing this for years look at that very difficult opposite Canadian nose pick first Isis could be doing a sailfin and that was what he wanted in the first round and gets in here in number three good that was that was a good run I know it's not exactly what he wanted to you know he had to like he was just showing on the box Jim he wanted to do the 360 double bars and suicide no hander but he couldn't throw it and is that something that's going to haunt you for a little bit but this is not what is though you have the best guy in the world competing against each other you have to bring that stuff you possibly can so let's see what them Saracen gets yeah we talked about the parody the feel the top the show and the prior that's the park events has been seven different winners and now we're going to make it eight different winners Kevin Reza his name to the list of BMX park winners he has his second x-games metal to his trophy case and both of those happen to be gold he's got a circle from last year and he's here 2017 barn gold medallist and that was amazing huge congratulations to my friend Kevin for awesome well today's breathable moment is brought to you by Fruit of the Loom look at that there's the Superman secret of Indian air preferably executed and look at this technical notes box of horsemen 180 jumping into the landing the head cabeceo perfection and that's how you get an X Games gold medal right there you just went out there yet slow we have these traditional street style element Clips send it down now to Brian Kachinsky who's with our winner all right all right here we are with BMX park gold medalist Kevin Peraza Kevin we've been proven that BMX park could be anyone's podium and today you were the cream of the crop how does it feel I'm speechless mana from struggling to get a line to being able to put it together for myself now this is unreal man right I got got to compete come back and ride with my heroes and some of my best friends man this is unreal I can go on to love his off and I get DMX it's tight bro I was just talking to your dad and he was nervous and I said don't worry he's golden but I didn't know it was going to be literal congratulations buddy yeah big props to Kevin Peraza take in the park gold here to the BMX park finally get to defend its dirt gold tomorrow
