all right I'm going to do my best to not holler at you I really need to teach what I'm about to teach but you kind of know how that goes I start yelling and spitting and behaving all ethnic but I wasn't I really need to teach what I'm about to teach you know if you have not watched or heard about the word that came from this morning make sure that you take your lunch break take your work break or something tomorrow and make sure that you watch that to my watch party in New York if y'all are watching me right now make sure that you get a big space to watch that the title of this morning's message was I'm talking to me and it was a very powerful exhortation about what really happened in temptation and I want you to go and I want you to watch that I need to speak to you or teach to you something that is very very very important I'm gonna try to do so timely because I sense God wants to do something for some of you today one of the problems with our approach to Christianity and to God is that the way we start to learn God is through the law it is interesting and my study of this is that I really believe he would have more healthy believers if we would almost tell the story of Jesus before the story of creation I think the way we build Christians is a bit disadvantageous because we start our journeys off as believers with learning what we cannot do I'm going to repeat that we start our journeys off in the Word of God at Genesis and wow there's nothing necessarily wrong with it we are inundated with what is impossible to live up to and then all of a sudden by the time we come to Matthew the theological attitude is that God now is in a better mood because Jesus is here and now we can do something differently I really believe we should start new believers off in the new test me because you don't really understand the OL if you don't understand the new and if that does not mess you up consider this I think the New Testament is older than the Old Testament Moses was not before Jesus Jesus was there from before the beginning so it's the story of Jesus that makes the story of creation makes sense so I think it's important that we are about it I'm gonna say this to you humbly we have the opportunity right now to have an extreme theological revolution of our approach to God Kenny what's wrong with holiness is people don't understand how to be it away from the law what people perceive and preach as holiness is introduced to them through the 600-plus laws of Moses if you have not studied that what the Bible says is that if you bring one you've broken them all so for example this is why who you're listening to is going to hell there is a law from Moses that says if you mow your lawn and you don't leave the corners of it for the strangers to eat then you are guilty of the law I have not moved my lawn all year I have not more my lawn last year and I certainly didn't leave enough or no homeless sorry I'll meet you in hell do you see how the logic of that works and Christians have a really bad habit of swelling and exacerbating several of the laws of Moses that makes sense are reachable and are ignoring the rest of them the Bible said that the point of the law was to be a tutor listen and a tutor is not a teacher we're replacing the teacher with the tutor the teacher is the Holy Ghost and the whole point of the law was to show us you ain't gonna do this without the Messiah that is important that you realize continuing my introduction I want you to know at some point this year I'm gonna have to devote a whole month to tell you what holiness is because the way it was preached to teach to you education about what you ain't and what you can't and and and we have not really seen real holiness cuz we ain't heard it without the law I know you messed up already we've been so busy teacher what holiness is not that we have no clue what it is and so the way we project it is very cosmetic you offended yet it's very external a part of jesus's master teacher ministry in fact the one my favorite chapter and i have to give you this so you understand what my text is important my favorite chapter in the book of Matthew is Matthew 23 studying on your own time it's the chapter called the woes of Jesus in them he uses the term woe back-to-back-to-back and it is a phenomenal writing about Jesus's philosophy of ministry and the reason he came to be and all of them woes were aimed at a group of people called the Pharisees and the Sadducees now are you ready I'm about to walk you through some biblical integrity the Pharisees and the Sadducees did not consider themselves sinners they consider themselves the spiritually elite you could not qualify to be a part of the Pharisees and the Sadducees if you had not mastered the law of Moses so they were a conglomerate of scholars who were in charge of the civic decisions but the basis of their Civic and social decisions was what they learn through the law of Moses so you would always find that Jesus very routinely said stuff to the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the obverse of that is also true you also find that the people who had it out most for Jesus were not sinners they were Pharisees and Sadducees they accuse him of treason they accuse them of being a false prophet they even had the nerve although historically you never find a record of a Pharisee or a Sadducee casting out a devil them Negroes had the audacity to accuse Jesus of I'm out Devils by Devils a bit interested that poke who don't do what you do tell you how to do it so you find these two classes of people that is a consistent aim of a lot of the teachings of Jesus Jesus spent more time listen to me in doctrinal detox that he did in miracles he spent more time with coming against the spirit of error than he did anything else and here's why as an educator what anybody will tell you getting people to learn new stuff ain't the problem is getting them to unlearn stuff they were taught wrong and we have a very romantic attachment to what we heard how we heard it so then when it's adjusted or corrected the minds reaction watch me is offense and this is why Jesus said offense must come he was not talking about me offending you he was talking about if you follow me at some point I'm gonna offend you and if I ain't got to you yet take a number you're next why what he was about to reintroduce was going to be offensive not cuz it was mean but because it was new why does God allow offense he allows offense because what offends the mind reveals the heart if you want to really know where a hearty is offend somebody Oh fender mine do something counter to how they were always taught this is so important because I'm about to open up an entire segment of Scripture that we often hear we often read but we have not really unlocked the power of okay now I'm gonna show you this cuz what I believe the Spirit of God wants to do in this room tonight is reverse some stuff that's got you looking at condemnation is something that is consistent in every life Satan knows that in order to staple pay attention please anything from the agenda of darkness I've got to make sure that people are not convicted I've got to make sure that a heart a mind and a habit steers clear of conviction because the fruit of conviction is changed but the fruit of condemnation is paralysis when anything is condemned it cannot change please you're gonna miss it in a minute therefore condemnation is probably a bit more powerful than any other phobia you have in your life now I'm starting with this because the Bible in talking to us about the power of sin on the human race Paul after having come back from Arabia goes into this ravenous exploration of the grace of God sorry he starts to unveil to us how he was who he was not because of his resume and not because of his pedigree and not because of his money or not because of his miracles but he would say stuff like this I am what I am by the grace of God he goes in this blood thirsty exploration of God's grace and in throwing himself into God's grace one of the mysteries that come up is the impact of condemnation on the human race then he writes there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus after the flesh but after the spirit which means you cannot be spiritual and condemned or you can't be spiritual and come DFP why am i starting with this one of the biblical meanings of the word condemn is judgment to condemn means to judge a synonym for judgment is to accuse is to conclude one of the worst things you could do to the person next to you is conclude them look at somebody say you can't stop me cuz you didn't start me your potential as a man a woman or believer might be locked up because somebody completed you look at your story even look at your habit look at your tendency based upon what they heard made a carnal estimation of who and how you are and gave a conclusion once they concluded you they judged you and the prom with judgment is if you get enough of it you start doing it to yourself I got a Labor through doctrine today with this so now we've got a real crisis in the earth that we're not hearing enough it is this you people have not resolved that being holy and judgmental is a conflicting statement you cannot have the Holy Ghost who is the one that removes judgment and be used to give judgment of the world it's judgmental Christianity that means is to be those that release people from judgment but master beyond it's incomplete judgment Jesus did not come to the world to condemn the world who in that heaven do you think you are Oh gave you the right to ascend to the throne of God and decide what somebody is worth or where somebody should be or who somebody should marry your problem is give me deliverance from a judgmental spirit because the essence of Judaism was judgment assessment conclusion assessment conclusion condemnation by the time Jesus showed up through the world I had to give you all of this condemnation was already very active a part of my Jesus show that was to reverse the works of sin and to shed his blood so that people could be free from condemnation it is that in most sects of the world people hear Christian and think condemnation they won't even go to church because when they walk when they walk in rather than being met with acceptance they met with a sign of what they can't wear what they can't do no gum chewing no talking and I think I managed don't come down the middle aisle all of these religious rules and laws got nothing to do with Jesus Jesus inside you all down around you tell me my presence and what I'll do is call it order because you have no definition of all-in [Applause] [Applause] my assignment in this supposed to do is help people to not live under the power of condemnation which means what we occupy ourselves with doing is removing people from judgment this is my people don't teach the four gospel because the flesh in me wants the flesh in you I think you should pay for how you dress problem with that Justin said in the Bible that's there cuz they deserve to be there Oh God I said I can't find one person that's up there because they were good enough to be there I think in the earth right now the problem that's greater than sin is self-righteousness sin has never bothered God as much as he'd dirty dirty rats the righteousness you establish when trying to penalize somebody else the context of this and while I started with that it's Matthew 7 I'm almost done verse 1 through 5 judgment condemnation think about your own personal experiences with Christianity with Church I mean just think about your life think about some of the first lessons you learn some of the first messages you've heard and here's what Paul says about the law the strength of sin is the law did you hear what I just said the strength the weight of sin is the law which means if I preach the first Adam to you you don't manifest the second Adam the more I preach law to you then you want to live up to and or manifest the law but if I preach the second Adam to you you end up coming into the truth look at your 71 I'm reading this in the amplified version because it is the closest biblical accuracy point to how it was written or spoken in the airmail and part of what it reasons this do not judge this is you could have kept talking to me by blood and goats and bulls I chose to give you my son so that you could have a way out of condemnation what's my point powerful thing that I've realized see about me versus me is it very many of us judge ourselves because we've been judged that's the lethal nature of judgment after you've been under it around it and experienced it you receive it and when you receive it you're now being transformed by a judgmental view of yourself which almost makes it impossible for you to bear fruit in righteousness because the way you see yourself is through the lens of judgment I cannot tell you how many times we have had to convince and counsel and blow and anoint and roll around and make people coughs because after 10 15 20 years of hearing it they have now started to manifest it because rather than being preached into forgiveness and redemption and righteous decision making they were Co horst manipulated what kind of gospel uses hell as a motivator I can tell you're religious because I'm the one that needs the attention bigger than Jesus but it's not the gospel I said the hell is a reality but it is not the gospel reality but it is not the gospel Paul said we preach but Christ you pre tell people manifest a rich Christ people manifest Christ I want you to use this to let God deliver you from a judgmental spirit that's my whole message you've got some in your eyes there is a judgmental spirit in people through religion that makes them condemn and other people what they forgive or excusing themselves you many of you our current something we to be ignored by God there's only one more cruel punishment than being ignored in heaven and that's been sentenced to hell and there is only one thing that the Bible says will get you ignored by God they're going to cry holy and the elders are going to cast their crowns and the living creatures are going to sing but what I once I'll conquer death hell and the grave I'm going to in perpetuity occupy myself with making intercession for you what he did for Peter he's doing for you right now you're sitting here in this sanctuary mind your own business but the Savior it's ever mindful of what you are in need of and he's ever mindful of where you're going and he's ever mindful of what hurts you we don't have a high priest that is not touched with the feeling of our infirmities Jesus is not in heaven being quiet he's praying and you know what it probably sounds like I'm mercy on him had mercy on him not mercy on him yes he's guilty but I gave up recreation here I'll go in his place I'll die in her place take me instead I'll be the sacrifice if that's Jesus's motive if that's Jesus is character you have to be convicted doesn't mean you have to accept everything you just let people feel your personal fears show up to licence you and to give you right to remain critical but when you're delivered from fear you have very little policies around who you can and cannot forgive so you think releasing people makes you suffer more and you don't realize how holding people's acts and judgments it's a consequence and a penalty for you most of you are paying the price that you are unaware of why you're paying it because when God looks at your heart he sees so much judgment so much critical stuff church is in a bad shape but I'm hopeful I'm looking unto Jesus he was able to do it for the early church he's gonna have to pour out something on America before he pours out fire and glory and the party but it's gonna sound like his you can charm chuchito I've got so much mercy I got mercy for the victim and the victimizing I got mercy for the predator I've got mercy for the recipient to kill my mercy is so powerful I can change all just the hue can't conceptualize it does not mean it's not available father put the throne of grace put the thumb put the mercy seat in our house but the mercy seat in our homes Lord those of us that have unconsciously judged our children and judged our relatives and and become so critical lord help us to be released from this bondage so that we can be released from ourselves what I feel like is in the room as many of you have not understood why you can't move forward it's because you've also got to release yourself from the judgment some of you are still mad at stuff you did in ignorance and mad at stuff you did in bondage or when you were unlearned and you continue to replay and rehearse what you live through but the powers of condemnation don't like watch where you are before the Lord father I'm asking for inviable to come in the hearts of your people so that they would be delivered from the power of judgment the judgment of others and the judgment they'd had against themselves let your blood begin to do a work even the work of Calvary in the heart even the thinking seeking of these people concerning how they see themselves and Lord you told me and preparing for this message to deal with people I wanna be like you I've got a lot of people [Music] but we know this that when he appears he will be like conversation [Music] no one complains that perfect love nothing is perfect fear at brixton Aqsa fear
