the 68 Division of Psalms Psalm 68 and this is my premise text I'm going to end up preaching Ephesians the fourth chapter don't go there though I'm going to end up preaching Ephesians chapter 4 verses 7 3:11 so write that down but we're gonna read Psalms the 68th chapter and we're gonna start at verse 14 Psalm 68 verse 14 when you're there say I'm there if you're not there say wait on me praise the Lord Psalm 68 14 well when the almighty scattered kings in it it was white as snow in Selman the the translation is when the almighty went to war they snowed they scattered like the snow the hill of God is as the hill of Bashan and high-heel as the hill of Bashan why leap ye ye high heroes this is the hill which God desired to dwell in yay the Lord will deliver and dwell in it forever for the chariots of God are 20,000 even thousands of his angels the Lord is among them as in Sinai in the holy place thou has ascended on high and thou has led captivity captive thou has received gifts for men even the rebellious also that the Lord God might dwell among them blessed be the Lord who daily loaded us with benefits even the god of our salvation I think I want to go to Ephesians 4 now let's go there real quick Ephesians chapter 4 verse 7 through 11 Ephesians chapter 4 verse 7 3:11 are you there Ephesians chapter 4 verse 7 says but to each one of us Grace has been given as Christ apportioned it this is why it was written when he ascended on high he took many captives and gave gifts to his people what does he ascended mean except that he also descended to the lower parts of the earth he who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens in order to fill the whole universe so Christ gave himself to be apostles prophets evangelists the pastors and teachers father this is your word help me to preach it in Jesus name Amen I have a point to preach but I've got to take the long route and our meditation this morning is what happens after hell what happens after hell and see what we can do Golgotha was the place the scene was dark and it was as dark as it had ever been in creation since after the earth came into place and the term of the heel or the name of the hill gaul got there was such because it was a skull that meant the place of the skull the mountain of the skull and it had been prophesied very long that the messiah would come through a virgin that he would be died he would die and that he would be resurrected we land up in an eerie sequence of events and we all land up where this story is about to be platformed on a very unusual stage and it was a stage called Golgotha you know how the story goes Jesus is burdened and crucified and impaled he was not the only one crucified there were two other gentlemen that were considered guilty with him they are crucified and it took as they measure three days for the process to happen we read it quickly but up the mountain to have the cross erected to also pierce him at cetera et cetera when he gets to the top of the mountain and the crucifixion is order there's a bunch of unusual and bizarre phenomena that's taking place around this event Jesus literally takes his last breath and something in the geophysical world changes so much so where during the middle of the day the moon is out and weird things start happening where they are earthquakes in divers places which is a very uncommon phenomena for their part of the world you didn't just have random earthquakes and this earthquake was so strong that it told the temple in - that'll make sense in a minute it came and it tore a massive building in - and they crucified Him and we know exactly Jesus is deliberate play attention to this his deliberate anatomy he how he how he disciplined himself to not die it could have been easy to die up the cross or up the mountain from blunt trauma once they started to throw stuff at him or even from dehydration remember one of the things he says on the cross is that I'm thirsty and they feed him golf to drink he could have died several different ways before he was pierced you have an open wound you have nails holding this big man up on this cross so he restrained himself from death unto the time appointed but the Bible says that when he gave up it was not taken from him he didn't go when he gave up the ghost it took a while for him to experience the full gambit of the human pain tolerance before he would give up the ghost he gives up the ghost and then they take him down and here we are in the grave day 1 he spends day 1 in the grave day 1 being a human day 1 allowing death to do what what death has already done if I may just go parenthetically we know exactly what happened on day 3 so the mystery is not on day 3 we know what happened according to the book of Romans that on the third day the spirit the Holy Ghost came and raised Jesus on the third day the mystery is on day two but they're not very many people that have cracked into what was going on on day two we know what happened on day one we know what happened on day three we're still a bit sketchy on what was going on on a day to the Bible being as parallel as it is gives us ample information about why it was necessary to do in three days what could have been done in one Jesus had something to achieve on day two we realize that there is something in the Apostles Creed called the victory inhale the victory in hell not the victory over hell but the victory in hell I'm gonna talk to you about day two I want to talk to you about the number two being the number of man and where Jesus had to go to be called the son of man I want to talk to you about what happened day two on day two he leaves his earthly body in the grave he leaves his earthly body in the grave and now while Mary is mourning him his siblings are confused disciples are nervous Christianity in its infancy state has already been scattered and Jesus in his glorified body he is not in the flesh pay attention on You mr. mystery he is in his glorified body at this point only two other disciples saw what he looked like glorified and there were those that went up with him on the Mount of Transfiguration we only know what he looks like in his glorified body when we fast forward and talked to John on Patmos he did not look in his glorified state how he looked in his physical state pay attention now the Bible said that when John saw him in Revelation his skin was bronze his hair was like wool eyes were like fire and he did not have one club he had crowns that no man could number and of that one the net the Bible say on his thigh was written the Word of God you come out the original gangster he had some written on his stock so on day two wherever Jesus went please sit down I said wherever Jesus went wherever Jesus went he did not look like a baby in a manger the Bible said that Jesus on day two on day two on day two he went to a place please now he went to a place that's referred to in Psalms a68 chapter and the thing that Psalm 68 is referring to is the lower parts of the earth the literal translation is Gehenna now when you talk about Hell there are several descriptive terms for hell it'll make sense to you one of them is shield it means outer darkness the other is Gehenna it means the residents of the Dead and then when you get shield and Gehenna then you got Hades which is a place of torment and those that try to fight the reality of Hell say well there are several different terms for but it's just as stupid as how Chicago is also chiraq it is also Englewood and a shy town you can be the same place and have different names and one of the greatest deceptions creeping in America through her universities and even through her seminaries and even through some of her churches is that heaven is more real than hell one of the deceptions is that we only focus on one place of eternal victory but we don't talk about eternal judgment in the place of Hell but the Bible said that Hell in the book of Matthew 25 the Bible said that hell was created for Satan and his angels so hell is a literal place with several dimensions in the belly of the earth Psalm 68 says he went to the lower parts of the earth so on day two pay attention when he was trying to do what needed to be done for man sin was not his objective sin was being handled by bulls and goats he had something else in his view when he took his field trip on day to pay attention when he got down there you got to realize why this is substantial heretofore Hale had been a dark place a part of what makes Gehenna Gehenna and shio shio and Hades Hades is that there is no light there that's a part of why it is so tormenting and jesus said down there there would be the gnashing of teeth one of the reasons why is that the fire is dark the demons are dark it cannot be light in Hell there is the smell of sulfur and burning flesh and Revelation said there is a lake of fire which is the what second death all of this is done in the realm of number two pay attention he says the lie of the false prophet which are not people there are systems that are thrown into the lake of fire and this lake of fire is burning it'll make sense and this lake of fire is lacking light imagine if there were a fire in here and I turned all the lights off and you could not see but on day two of gong Gaza something happened in hail that had never happened before the Bible said it Jesus in his glorified state with the Word of God ridding on his thigh walked up to a place called the gates of hell I'm trying my best and when he got there the gatekeepers in hail said who is it he started to knock on the door cuz he didn't have the keys yet he said knock knock the devil said who's there he said knock knock the devil said who's there and all of a sudden listen to me Jesus said hey it's Jesus now in Gehenna when you say the name of Jesus those are the only two parameters of hell the will of man and the name of Jesus the Bible said that even the demons tremble and believe so here's what happened in Hell when Jesus said hey it's me Jesus the lights Oh God oh god I'm sorry the lights came on the lights came on so now demons who had never seen light down here well I know God not the way they preach it is that Jesus had a wrestle sit down oh and Jesus had a war and that Jesus had a fight but there was no fight because it is written that every me I said every every every knee if they did not fight him in the flesh they so couldn't fight them in his glorified state what happened on day two was that when the lights came on inhale everybody got nervous and didn't like this here glory to God and the Son of Man started walking up and down the aisles of shield and the aisles of the grave and the aisles of Hell to do what Paul said listen Paul lets us know what was going on there when he chimes into what happened on day two the Son of Man is at the gates of hell he says I'm Jesus the lights go on and Paul writes about it saying that it might be fulfilled that death is swallowed up in victory now we've been reading that all the time but where was it swallowed up you don't swallow up death on earth you swallow death in hell he said that death is swallowed up in victory Wow Paul the strength of death is sin oh the sting of death is sin but the strength of death is the law Jesus got his physical body laying in a borrowed tomb but his real self is in hell doing some retrieval work to make sure that you got something on earth that you could not get if you went to hell pay attention day two you weren't there your soul wasn't there yet there were several places of holy men inhale Abraham's bosom a region there to preserve men who died and I imagined when the light came down Abraham and Isaac in and the forth fathers of the faith were over looking at the souls being torment and I wait a minute that looks like him but Jeremiah is at him the lights are on who is this down here and Jesus walked sin and he says hi I'm here he starts to legally retrieve the keys and the access points that Adam had lost there now in order for you to appreciate I'm preaching yet my real sermon you got to understand Old Testament battle culture and there was a biblical word called booty before booty became what y'all say it was a word that meant the surplus of war pay attention it was a word that literally translates watch this prophetess Katie ass spoil it mix spoil and the way we knew which King to follow was that after any battle he came back to his people and he gave gifts to men after you won a war as a king you didn't just say yes you began to gather what the opposing army was holding and you had a parade and you walked up and down your streets and you literally gave the spoils of a walk now when we get to Psalm 68 we see why it makes sense that on day two Jesus was not just after souls he was after gifts you weren't there your gifts were a part of what he had to do was to make sure that he went down there to make sure that even if you went to heaven your gifts could be deepened after hair I feel like preaching now Old Testament battle culture was I had to divide the spoils I had to divide the spoils and so on day two they're scared they're frightened that Jesus does what he needs to do and now here is where we get you see we know that he was given the keys to death hell and the grave death hell and the grave three kingdoms that had not been defeated before he now has access to death hell and the grave and so by the time the third day gets here what happens is the Holy Ghost comes he gets back in his earthly body and he rolls the stone away the stone is moved away by the Holy Ghost here's why this is important he understood that people could not have power if Satan still had their gifts the earth would never see the power of God through preaching alone they would see the power of God through the gifts any gift and here's what this is important everything that God gave you is a gift you don't have anything that you deserve and God is concerned about your mismanagement of come on up your mistreatment up come on up your indifference towards what he literally went to hell to make sure you that the reason why our gifts are not as strong as they should be is because we're not delivered the strongest gifts come through free men that have gifts but they're still captive and this Bible says that when he led captivity captive then he gave gifts to men that are gifted prisoners [Music] what happened after Hale Jesus came back the keys death hell the grave that was not an issue of salvation that was an issue of your Gibbs why did Jesus go to hell he went to hell to make sure that you could have access to every unique ability every unique endowment every unique technology that is in you without having to fight hell to have it let me preach to you now God in this me versus me season it's concerned about your relationship with your gifts and the fact that you know you have them and refuse to stir them he is concerned about how you are in irreverence of what he literally went to hell to get now here's how you know that this was a real issue for Jesus when men talk about visions of Jesus said and what he looks like they got this European picture of this pretty boy model who is also an underwear model part-time and he's a buff and he is showing his taco meat in his hair is perfectly ironed but when the prophet saw him in the same exact description daniel told me that after Jesus descended that his garments were not white anymore everybody wants to talk about the color white I'm patio said they were not white they were white up until the hip level read your Bible young man around the hip level there were blood stains on the garment and the Bible say his garments were stained with the blood of his enemies not because your soul was there but because your calling was there you got to realize that the devil wants more than your soul he wants your purpose he wants your giftings your soul is easy we can do that through sin but we've got to use strikes we've got to use which Papa we got to use era to get you divorce from your gear hmm there is a war on the gifts I'm not talking about just prophecy and tongue but there is a war on the gifts the devil hates gifted men and gifted people he realizes that there is a certain realm of God's power that men will not see if they are not moving in their gifts and this is why the Apostle Paul told his son in the Lord I want you to remember this neglect not the gift come on I feel like preaching now I want you to pinch somebody say neglect not the gift come on help me appreciating the threat not the gift open your mouth Cygnet let not the gift not what is the word neglect talk about it means to starve it means to ignore it means to overlook it means that outside of a healthy environment if you wouldn't leave an infant in the middle of a street or if you would call DCFS if you found the parent that abused the child what prison do you belong here now you got gifts you don't read about gifts you don't invest in you got gifts and I under an oil that discourages you out of them gifts but you've got to answer to God for what you're doing with your gifts I'm scared of you I believe God is coming to convict us about the absence of relationship I love the way he said I'm giving you my hands you know you got years of rejection or years of rebellion or years of stubbornness and you walk around casually like it's not an emergency do you know the primary expense fluid as you were mathematically it works like this every bondage in your life is a barrier to your gifts many of you in the spirit because you'll give this struggling to get from behind your issues you'll give this struggling to be behind your fears it's trying to reach their audience but can't get past your soul I'm here to tell you by the Spirit of God this is a season of the dealings of God because he's trying to reach beyond your personality into the realm where the gifts flow into the place where the gifts flow when the wise man heard that Jesus had been born they came and presented unto Him gifts I want you to know in the spirit your gifts are a commodity God wants to use them to poet by him but the devil wants to buy them to advance his dissing his agenda you need to treat your gifts right because of people right now I don't want to commit to that right now you are literally guilty of crucifying the Lord of fresh he didn't just die to give you peace of mind his purpose is going to be it is the gift of eternal life it is the gift of the Holy Ghost everything that comes out of heaven is a gift and the reason it's a gift is because you don't want you thinking you deserve it and if you don't deserve it you shouldn't control it and if you can't control it you shouldn't determine who needs it and when you cultivate yourself to it there is a fresh conviction coming in this place about people who have left their giftings dormant I want you to know I'm coming for it at 10:30 but today my assignment is to pull you out of the powers of mediocrity we've got is so sick of people having the Holy Ghost and being regular there is nothing that's going to change around the world if Christians are not supernatural something bizarre something unique something extraordinary is trying to express itself through the gifts and I realize you're content with same people slain in the spirit but there is a category of miracles that you ain't seen yet there were so many demonstrations of the spirit that were in the Bible that we've not seen contemporarily and it's not because God changes because y'all did y'all decided that science was more important than God that medicine was more important than God and what God is doing in this season is he's deepening your hunger the power of God your hunger in the church so you've had a hard time they don't always been callings of God gifts of administration mercies upon interpretation of tongues the language of business because of your kitted up st. the stuff to power the invested a florida the empower come if if you're going through hell the word of the Lord to you is keep going hell even if you're experiencing a microcosm that means a smaller example of a bigger reality if you feel like certain areas of your life right now feel like hell keep walking if you keep walking the objective is there is a deepening in your gifts a deep me in every gift you have the beautiful thing about the gifts of God is that they were without limit and many of you are guilty of measuring your gifts against the gifts of another when you need to realize that they are they that they are stretchable beyond eternity they are spiritual immaterial yeah and there's so many people even in the body of Christ that are in houses that imprison gifts lot gifts judge gives encouraged you out of gifts and if I were Jesus I would be sitting like why did I get these keys why did I waste the whole day going to the realm of the Dead to do what y'all won't do your gift inventory it's going to the next place there are gifts that God wants to give you and there are gifts that you were born with that need to be taken to the next level the Apostle Peter called it stewardship and then he says if your gift is serving then serve if your gift is prophesying then speak as the Oracle of God but we cannot live and expect happiness outside of the right relationship with your gift it took hell to get it in you now you understand that about salvation you just don't understand that about the abilities that are in you from the Spirit of God Satan knows this so very early on in your life he wants to make your gift alienate you and use your abnormal Ness as the vehicle for your torment so you won't ever become a master your gift daniel mastered his gift and in so doing he always found himself in positions of influence because of his gift there are people who don't like you but they got to acknowledge your gift they don't prefer your personality but i can't do nothing about your gear they gotta fight your fruit because of the gift I'm concerned about your feelings many of you I know it's frustrating because they seem random I'm gifted here I'm gifted bear the word that God has been burning in me it's ambidextrous I heard him scream that powerfully Friday night that there is a realm of multiplicity diversity and although it does not make sense to you now every gift in you is connected to an assignment my purpose is not the church I was called and resurrected from the dead for the culture but the church is my assignment realize that if you don't stir your gifts you cannot fare well in an assignment and those who don't pass assignments end up in cycles that's what a cycle is I failed last season's assignment and whatever you don't learn at this level you will by God's grace repeat one of the wisdoms that you need to have is that I need to use my full self I need to be fully present in this assignment you need to be cautious about having thoughts in your mind I fight it every day I can't wait to retire and then I'm just tired by the Spirit of God cuz I don't need to get a B on this assignment because then I'll fail brother Max it's gonna take your Gibbs woe unto you who has subjected your gift to hostile environments I'm talking to you on the Internet woe unto you who know God's called you and has endowed you with gifts but you won't let them be what they should be for the intimidations of men it is not a game God's fire and his standard it's coming in the earth for people that are living and give negligence this didn't start with the charismatic movement this started on Golgotha this is older than old Hubbard's this started on Calvary he had your giftedness in you and to be content with knowing that you have ways to glorify God that you are not using it's dishonorable you see your treatment of the gift is a communication about what you feel about the giver and me versus me it's time for you to develop the right relationship with your gifts not ignore them not overlook them not use them for filthy money these are holy things in you and I want you to see them as holy because if you don't you can't please God now hell is really good about using fear tactics to make people avoid gifts from God but everything that flows by God flows from faith in faith you ought to start asking God to show you who and how he made you and don't wait for the church or Christianity to explain it sometime they can't really conceptualize that the Bible says that Jesus was sent to his own and his own received him not it's cuz they couldn't understand it it's okay but your gifts are crying out they need to be Stern many of you probably should repent for being bored with them you know some of you have you been flowing in a gift so long and it becomes second nature you treat it like furniture and you don't deepen it and that's what every gift of the Spirit you people that prophesy at the same level for years and then blame it on the minstrels the sound it's the sound no it's the size of your gift your gift is not in the command of anything externally but you and your capacity in it maybe if you put more Bible in there you have more range you ought to be convicted and some of you I rebuked my staff about this some of you used for the excuse that when you're in a religious system they work you so hard and so bad that you want to come over in this angel oasis this is not a sauna this is not a vacation place for people who are tired of a religion you are not going to serve in Egypt and then come over here and chill and Cainan no bear you I did that at my old church I'm gonna just come here and chill oh good way to give God glory preaching and teaching and ministering and directing choirs and sing and you want to come here and sit Rotel at the back of the church thinking that God is not taking attendance God called you I understand that people get used and abused at the end of the day your refusal to use your gifts because of your experiences reveals idolatry it's all about who you're going to obey these people have not called you God called you he put the gifts in you and if people never say thank you I appreciate you I recognize you well I'm Who I am because of who you are whatever God keeps good records Holy Spirit of God I'm asking that over the next several minutes I don't know exactly what to pray but what I do know is that you're concerned about what you've invested in these people that ministry is not a talent show Christianity is not something that we get to do on our own terms father today we humble ourselves and we have full consciousness that you literally went to hell because of our gifts and you didn't just die because of what was wrong with us you're not because of what was right in us and what you invested in us and father the god of this age has blinded the minds of these people concerning what is in them I'm praying for the spirit of wisdom and revelation I'm also asking that you would begin to reveal your divine justice those who have been taken advantage of through the door of their gift use through the door of their gift abuse through the doorway of their gift and those who no longer have a desire for them gifts father begin to reorient ate them even now about the Spirit of God and give them a new hand pendel and even a fresh grip on their gifts in the name of Jesus those that have sacrificed their gifts I hear this in the Holy Ghost those that are sacrifice their gifts for their spouses because they could not what I want to cause their spouses to feel insecure or overlooked or bizarre what I'm asking but those that have surrendered their gifts in the name of romance or in the name of popularity that you by your fire will begin to sanctify men in this place you are the one that ascended but you could only a sin because you descended and you led captivity captive in the name of Jesus I rebuke and bind the power of rejection I said I whip you can ban the power of ejection those of you that shut your gifts down because of who or whatnot would receive them I come against the kingdom of rejection in the name of Jesus of Nazareth there is a way to experience rejection without becoming rejected and one of the things that the devil does is for fear of rejection he makes you suppress your gift but let there be a divine win right now of deliverance against the spirit of a rejection those of you that have been abandoned and dropped and pushed out because of your gift and you desire to have them hold and to have them under authority so you started to use them in illegal ways because you did not have help I command the deception of loneliness to leave your life right now in the name of Jesus Christ your gifting is not punishing you your gift is not isolating you your gift is not arresting you it's the only way you really feel free come on teacher come on psalm esse come on pull it up come on right up there are Gibson you I want you to repent right now for this honoring yourself come on but this honoring yourself come on you are about to experience the full range of your salvation you were saved to do more than say I'm sorry you were saved to manifest the power of part of the earth heavily and down what that is stop with gifts and abilities even the powers of the age to come up yeah within you come on lift your hands and make that right [Music]
