Let's build a smithy in Enshrouded - Build Guide

[Music] hello everyone Splash here welcome to the channel last time around we built this starter base here behind me but we have moved along somewhat through the quests and the crafting Hub is beginning to feel a little bit crumped because of that the blacksmith will be getting a new home and a nice new workplace before we get to that though let's have a look at the materials we're going to use all these blocks or recipes you find As you move along the quest lines nothing complicated there it's the refined wood block the C W block and the roof tiles block which is made out of fired brick we are also going to dig up some dirt road blocks and use that as gravel in the backyard I haven't found a recipe for it yet so I dig it up outside of the border of my Camp to make sure it is [Music] replenished the place I've chosen for the home of iOS Smith is a bit lumpy so I will have to do some ground work first and of course you could just use the rig it is a powerful tool but you won't gain any dirt from that and dirt is always useful in the workshop area of the house we're using Stone floors and in the home we use wood floors since I want it all to be one step up from the ground we will also have to create ourselves some snap points for [Music] that [Music] and now we can use snapping [Music] again [Music] the house is pretty straightforward just keep in mind that we want to create a porch in the front so start from the back [Music] this wall here we've been changed to one with the door in it instead later because I realize I want the back door to be [Music] there [Music] and this window here is just a placeholder because we're going to put a chimney [Music] here the back door doesn't have to be fancy at all because it's is only leading to the Burke [Music] area the workshop will be outside but under a roof so this is the pillar I will hold the roof [Music] [Applause] up [Music] let's add the second [Music] floor [Music] n [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] he [Music] that's add a small window up here as [Music] well I don't know why but for some reason I get the feeling that there Smith is kind of uncomplicated I think a ladder would be exactly what he [Music] wants keep the roof tile flush with the wall don't let them overlap because because you will see them on the other side of the [Music] wall yeah I only wanted one block overhang not two so yeah tedious but it looks better [Music] he [Music] n [Music] n [Music] above the roof I want the chimney to look the same all around so I'm changing material materials on this end [Music] [Music] here [Music] this right here might not be the smartest solution but it was [Music] quick [Music] now when I have to remove one block at a time it isn't as quick anymore you see what I'm talking [Music] about [Music] [Music] d [Music] [Music] these roof tiles don't have a very interesting Edge to them and especially this roof around the workshop and the porch needed something a little extra so I made a whole bunch of shelves and plac them all around as if they were holding up the little [Music] orang [Music] [Applause] [Music] n [Music] the room needed a divider I doubt the man wants to look at his daughter the workplace when it's relaxing in front of the [Music] fireplace [Music] a [Music] we're making this chimney a bit different from the other [Music] one [Music] [Music] and no we're not going to cook up here on the roof it's just for this very very unnoticeable smoke effect [Music] n [Music] n [Music] as mentioned before the rake is a really powerful tool but we need the dirt and we need the stones for future projects so I'm going to dig a bit here a trench back here before we place all the dirt road blocks like this and you really don't need that many of them because even though this is a rather large area it's covering it's just one block at a time and of course we're going to use the rake on this one look here these few blocks and we're flattening out and it covers a much larger area straight away [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] now
