Let's build a restaurant for the farmer in Enshrouded - Build Guide

[Music] hello everyone Splash here and today we're back in in shrouded for another build guide this time around we're building a restaurant for our farmer we will also build her a cozy apartment upstairs where she can find some privacy these are the materials I've been using and none of it is difficult to find as you progress through the quest line from left to right we have highly polished stone block refined Sandstone block half timbered block and for accents the fired bricks Block in this build we're using the TD straw block for the roof all right let's get to work I want this build over here overlooking both the Shroud and the fields but that means a bit of ground work we'll need to even this ground out a lot also I want a hill with some trees along a path that I want to lead here so time for some [Music] gardening the foundation is pretty straightforward we are using the highly polished stone block as floors and a bit here and there we will have to compensate for high [Music] differences to watch the Shroud I want a slightly rounded [Music] Edge [Music] over here where the kitchen is going to be I want a slightly raised floor so we'll make that now on top of this this is more a placeholder than anything else because we will change you this into the larest stone blocks [Music] later [Music] all along the entire outer wall here we will place these blocks and you want it to be one row of blocks on the outside of the walls and the rest on the inside and you will see why eventually [Music] here's where we leave room for the [Music] balcony well this corner I wanted to wait until we put up the Halls to see where the floor balls were supposed to be and where this hole in the wall is there's going to be a door these are the outer walls and you need to place them one block in all around like this here you have a corner built from the corners that's the [Music] [Music] easiest [Music] we are only using the ordinary walls this time around because I wanted to put in the windows where I wanted them afterwards not move them around at [Music] [Music] all [Music] [Music] [Music] nah I still haven't gotten used to how big the doors or windows are so I make larger holes than I need mostly all right time for inals and this time around we're using the refined Sandstone block because I want the yellow tone all around just cover all the others with one layer [Music] [Music] anyway [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] these stairs are going to lead up to the apartment and in these walls around stairs under here we will hide chest [Music] later time to build the he perfect these floors the fired brick block and most of them are just placeholders to make sure that the Hearth are on the middle of the wall you don't need to remove the floor honest the roof is the tricky part and you want an overhang only here just now because of the walls we're going to put up [Music] later and for once we actually use the build pieces as they were [Music] [Music] intended [Music] [Music] this hole in the wall here will stick around for a while because the intention for it from the beginning was a balcony with the [Music] roof [Music] [Music] d [Music] la [Music] oops all right back to [Music] work when we come this far it's quite easy to [Music] rest [Music] now it's time to fill all these empty holes left [Music] behind [Music] o [Music] a [Music] here I wanted a divider but when I was done with that I realized that I had miscalculated where to place the door onto the balcony as you can see here so I had to move that to the side a [Music] bit [Music] oh and I didn't go for a traditional shimy in this one maybe that was a bad idea if you wanted to be realistic because think of all the smoke that would come up from the kitchen [Music] below [Music] a [Music] n [Music] and as usual we put in fireplace here to make sure there's some smoke coming [Music] out [Music] that balcony I mentioned earlier it has been down voted so I need a clean canvas before I put up the windows I want [Music] instead [Music] n [Music] a [Applause] [Music] match the windows on the ground floor with those on the Upper [Music] Floor [Music] we are standing in a doorway here and we're not going to use that doorway later it's going to be removed because I want to Winter there [Music] instead to match these can take a little while but it's well worth it [Music] oh [Music] [Music] n [Applause] [Music] on this balcony upstairs we need a bit more privacy so the fence is going to be much taller [Music] [Applause] [Music] here [Music] we're using these really simple Windows in the entire [Music] house [Music] [Applause] [Music] I added these blocks on top because I found them cute this is a landing dock for deliveries to the restaurant and that is why I moved the door to the kitchen [Music] [Applause] [Music] instead [Music] [Applause] [Music] la [Music] [Applause] [Music] n [Music] [Applause] [Music] and there we go so I'm [Music]
