hi Olaf I'm glad for you to see me a guarantee from the paces jungle I'll just go ahead on and cook get the part of the chicken in our life turtle stew come aboard this is going to be to our teeth talk to it like it knows what I'm talking now I like this good I believe in easy cooking believe me I do [Music] [Applause] I owe lost I'm glad for you to see me our guarantee in today we're gonna cook some white navy beans and we're gonna boil a brisket I love ball brisket it's got a different flavor it tastes like it came out of soup only tastes better it really does but excuse me my note is that letter Kevin on then went to the Olympics just rolling like hell no this is for the white bean and I'm gonna turn the fire on on that if I hit the right board I hope it's right I really do never do but I'm gonna try wrong one see it just wanted a bar on there for me they don't meet him and into this water I'm gonna put nothing to put the beans in yet I'm gonna put a cup of chopped on y'all man and I love on your wit no I don't care what you cooked if you put on y'all and it's gonna make it taste better that's for true and also a cup of chopped bell pepper and stir any kado thing any time you add something to anything you always stir make it taste more better and it does and a couple wait I think I've got some liquid smoke yep no this is a vegetarian dish here I'm not a vegetarian don't even know how to spell it but it tastes good so I eat it win the world animated in the house tourists and an into this a tablespoon full of garlic chopped real fine and that is fine by your internet nobody gonna leave so many what I'm not going to do it get it off man we got ten stuff again smells good already and then you got to be the near again and into this and we'll put some parsley this is dried parsley I mean it does a wonderful job without chopping you your fingernails into the partial do you know how it is which you can do very easy [Music] stir it out in there and I'll just get with it that parsley that's equivalent to two cups actually of the fresh parsley and it don't taste just the same to me and then nothing is easy cooking you know that chop that damn portion all right into this I'm gonna put just a little bit no two cups that ain't much wine a white a Chablis wine is drinkable never cook with a wine that you won't drink and I'm not gonna put any salt into you now I may put a little own red pepper no I'm not gonna do that here this recipe I I wrote this but it must have been cold sober one of these beans growing in a minute but I'm gonna let my water get a little hotter than that and I may carry on the story I picked out some of my old story that I had my heard they've been told before you may have heard them I want you to laughing like hell anyhow here this actually happened down in st. James Parish I had a friend he was my friend until he died name Gordon Martin Gordon Martin wonderful man and at the courthouse they had one thing running north and south and one hall running east and west and where the cross we had a roundtable would sit out there and then settle all the affairs of the world when anything to it does do like that all those Cadence's around and I was sitting there one day with Gordon you know right by the side him was a great big Lucy on a Catahoula dull blue eyes kind of expected around a little bit beautiful dog and we were talking about everything in walk or sales when it had been setting some some stuff to the sheriff's office and to say sheriff I need a man can't you see we busy as hell talking you wait and we little will talk about that in an office he says Michelle all right does your does your dog bite God said hell no you know my dog nobody reached down to pet that don't allow it most bit his hand though when I went in office when Gordon and this man tried to help out a little bit and I was wrapping it up and fixed it up on the first day the very best in the world and he said sheriff I thought you told me your dog don't bite chef Martin said my dog don't buy he said Haley don't look at my hand going through that ain't my dog now I think I'll just put the opinion and let him just cook up a storm it's all I can do to him let's go in there bean let me tell you another story or so these have been washed and soaked and all that stuff and you got to cover them with water enough so we should start balling the knuckleball over and you being up staying the pot that's the main idea keep you know beans in my club I'm gonna I left some bell pepper get in there I got it just put this out of my way but I'm up in that pot I'm a ball a whole damn brisket and enjoy doing it it's just in here they're gonna fit but I'm gonna move this over here out of my way so that I can get with that brisket but I got a lot of stuff got to go in there in his major is like I like Justin Wilson measure but real good grab my hands into this pot I have some water you ned bell ringing I have some water in there and I've got to turn that fire on the Hopis trying to write one all this people get the right one I did what do you know about that I did let me get this the way I know where the water on medium imma let that start cooking and I'm gonna put all kind of stuff in there anyway I want to put it in there too and it'll move this recipe but on the bottom of the other one not everything in that dried parsley some cups of dry rock salt to taste later when the beans are getting tender and you mash up against the side of the the pot and the mash up and smelled time for you to put in there this this is a five pound brisket I have there nope that's a little bit more than maybe six five six or five pounds on the wish put into this water then we'll put this top on here quit any of this water over you know I'm going to put just six or five pounds over some dried mint when you're here you now cook with mitt rather than believe because they leave just you know even haul off and take care of all the taste in all you taste is bail even how do I dunno dried mint won't do it I'm gonna put a teaspoon for the driveway today I know your own believe with that teaspoon believe it now then like that in there we're getting start boiling joy with me don't Webster don't know your name and then I'm going to put some glue down hot sauce to taste my taste more put about a tablespoon for maybe a little bit more because it's good stuff not too hot one tablespoon to do moon for exactly your own teeth now I'm going to put into that some garlic powder right here and what you don't want to put enough to make that taste good that's all garlic powder and I got you stow that gift enough mister would you stand let's turn in there miss once turn but don't worry I'll kill all don't the maybe come out even and now I'm gonna put some sliced mushrooms it's about a cup a cup of sliced mushroom and I'm gonna start cuz that's what it isn't there now I'm gonna put some part of the dried parsley to taste my taste that actually would make about a cup and a half of a real of a fresh parsley stir that in there's two I'll do it got to put some onion party in there too Bobby [Music] now a little onion powder but they didn't even put on it I got in this jar don't look like much no onion powder let it put it all in I never land on the owner you notice now got to put a little oh just a little look look with a little Cayenne couples anti stir you know we'll put some salt begin to smell good without a damn thing either get it I'm gonna have to add water to that after I put the meat and this is just a little cayenne pepper and it's good for you that's not even half a teaspoon that is they'll got it they stir that in there that's high and pepper has a little different taste in that then they cayenne pepper salt why you remote in the same damn recipe and it comes out all that comes out good and that's the whole idea now I'm gonna put this water we're out and get it move this out of my way and reach and get this six a five pound brisket it was cutting hair so we're fitting that damn pot that's why we cut it in hand move man are you gonna go anywhere you like it or not right now I don't like to buy brisket that has been all the fat cut off was that that's where the flavor really you don't have to eat it but you can cut it off and you still got the flavor in the meat from the fat now I'm gonna have to put some more water in that and put this over here out of my whip I don't want to stab myself with just a little fork I've got either okay come on boy pour the water you got to cover the thing you can't fill up a whole table flow to have it flow mm-hmm just about a cup of two more to cut more got it got it covered let me turn my father up to hi hi doesn't one do right now reach down and then kind of stir this stuff alone in got to put some salt and little salt to take my taste for so now it says here soy sauce forgot to put some soy sauce after I put this soft because let me tell you something and that little over teaspoon full of soul if I wouldn't couldn't soy sauce in there I put a couple of water but soy sauce is a salty stuff no sugar is but it's salty as hell it really do you pull full of a half that's just about what I got you know got to stir that down in there too but I won't I had to go to that meat like everything else now let me tell you I think I'm up I hear a story coming over their mouth it actually happened to all be Laplace down in the same table right starter buckaroos you know all we had a general store down he still got it you got it you know I was in there talking with him one day a little boy came and say Mitchell applause what is it son you got any hearings huh he told him y'all got healing he 0mr the plus how much deal he see 65 cents a dozen if they cracked it 15 sister doesn't he looked up and over says crack mere does and we then I got to adjust this file a little bit so I can just kind of relax me and maybe tell you another story or two like tree or two to tell the day oh my god haven't heard in a long time myself I don't want that to boil over oh come on in there you about the balls yeah it's a better story was beans up with all this parsley and stuff on there people see that joy green looking stuff that's partly good for you if they make chlorophyll from it what the world makes your breath smell good oh let's go get hot put that on there calm so now you know my father told me this story I'm not going to tell you how long ago cuz I'm actually not that all about a fella named easy door they had a barroom during Prohibition you never closed up these down in south Louisiana he didn't know anything about prohibition but he had that ballroom and he was going there to get their morning pickup you know and one day Acadian name Allah belongs in there and said a man he's a door you sure this look so much better since you fixed it up he said what you mean fix it up he seemed like it's always been easy man I see you got four doors announced a tour - you know said my friend have you had something to drink already and he said no they had nothing to drink yet he said well you're a lot I would like you to show me them forward though I'll bet you $20 you got food or he said put your money and show me the damn doors all right there the front door that one is he that one he didn't add the behind or that's - that's right and he said what's your name he said you know money I where drinky-drinky to get out here because I'm gonna get my money back what do you drink you drink me laughing income home and also hey you know how you doing doing all right man make a man feel good to pick this place up like I got this place do you see what you mean to figure it is pleasing you got the same old bottle behind the ball you just refill them every night and you had the same sawdust on the floor oh you say man you mean to told me you don't notice I got bored over here now instead of - oh you ain't got nothing but the front door in the behind oh that's all that's - he said I'll off we've got to cut the fire down on their simple simple rim around my semi semi baby we know cut it down as you stand cut it down yeah and to be hmm come on down a little bit more that's fine just like now I must uh you know just staying down there most everything else parsley oh that smells good now I want to say yeah I've got lots of good stories here and I'm gonna tell you this one about a friend with me years ago when I worked down on by all the food he had a furniture store any most probably still got in this but a long time ago who heads it single single all in every year he went to Chicago to the big furniture conference ahead and he'd come back and tell us all about it we were sitting around there one day when he got back he said man I want to tell you that's a hell of a conference they got furniture there from all over the world no matter what you want they got it in fact another thing you don't want to want they got that too but I want you to know that there's something and I went down man it didn't know went over to the conference there's a big foot issue building the gut where they just play everything in the world I stayed in there all day long when I got back to the hotel I was tired very tired I'll guarantee and I got only elliegator and there was a female girl lady women on the air again and I look her up one side it looks so good I look her right down the same side and I said hey man are you doing my baby Hannah and she acted me in French but religion French against France for it and I didn't understood it excuse me I got to accept this feisty little too hot don't slow down there father know that and then I take a pad and a pencil you know right in there would not you like to go have a cocktail with me in English and it passing on her face she said oh I said I long let's go so we went we had that cocktail meeting 807 just like they were good then I said the bay would you like to go get something to eat huh he said he's understood so after all man and woman sitting sitting at a table eating a nice dinner like you know passing in front of her face she said oh we I said oh let's go in right now so we went and had a nice meal and she's such a good-looking female and I knew she could dance and I love that that is being provided of foosh I said we better let's go dance hey she said just a bit so I take my pen in my purse and I draw a man and women just dancing up stone you know and I pass it on her face she said oh we I said oh no let's go so we go nasta maybe for three o'clock in the morning and I'll go back to the hotel with her and I go to the door with her and she hand me the key to a room and I'm open that door for her and I'm try to told her goodnight and she don't said nothing except recently got my pad with my pencil and she dropped and she drove and she shall grow the most beautiful antique bed you never saw before or get in your life I'll guarantee and I'm still trying to figure out how she know I'm in the furniture business ooh that together look good smell good it is good I'm gonna cut that fire down too but I'm gonna go sit over there and try some I cooked up while you're not looking sit down there and look that far down do about it Oh simmer simmer simmer that's right come on down come on down baby come on down baby just right and you've got to come down a little more I'll just cut you off you mess with me oh you know but I'm going over in sit myself now and cut myself a piece of that ball brisket I need some of them white bean and have a drink of wine red wine leading gentleman die I like red wine but I'm gonna do white wine so that's why I've written why the other thing I'll heat it for that's concerned that's a lot of hooey about what kind of wine they have would you say that no way no different you know so your stomach is colorblind that I know about it completely colorblind so I've got my little knife here let me taste this brisket to see if it's any good come over here oh boy oh girl gee I'm we eat these beans with a spoon - I love being I need a good vegetarian being in it some with liquid smoke did you lie to God bakery [Music] yeah Oh swell oh
