do something so good to see you all here we want to welcome all of our campuses thank you guys at every place where we're assembled same Jesus same Lord saying presence think you'd be beautiful right and pray the Lord's Prayer with me across our campuses those of you streaming live let's pray right now the Lord's Prayer over our lives over our nation over our community over our families are you ready our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever amen god bless you smile that someone here may be seated you use to us doing that at the end of the service somebody just woke up said man that was a quick service praise God not quite not quite done hey I want to take a moment and I want to say how delighted we are to have our brand-new free chapel college students with us today for the first time this is our second year and we have 80 students we doubled I want our breach Apple college kids to stand your feet and let us say welcome from all over the United States and to from foreign countries it's pretty remarkable we're very excited to hear we really believe God's gonna do something awesome in your life and by the way we got full accreditation this year to offer bachelor's degrees thank you guys thank you so much so we now have a four year fully accredited through South Eastern University accreditation and that's just pretty amazing what God is doing congratulations to all of the team there Blake and Laura and all the great people that are working in our College we're very excited about as a matter of fact the biggest problem that we're facing now and actually you know almost having to turn people down is we can't find housing there's such a there's such a market right now in apartments and things that you just can't hardly find anywhere to rent and so we need help in the housing and so guess what our next building projects gonna be I'm bad you're gonna need to clap and throw money Amen it's gonna take both I appreciate the enthusiasm but if I got to choose between the two I'll take a dry Presbyterian giver above an excited charismatic non giver Amen but anyhow but praise God alright let me preach open your Bibles to Genesis chapter 15 before I preach I got to say one more thing take a personal moment this is the last service that my precious son Drake's Reese and I had four girls in a row and then one son Drake and he will be going off to college we will leave to take him tomorrow and y'all need to pray for me and Cherise cuz I don't know if I can handle that I've been waking up and crying into bed it's ridiculous and I'm gonna miss him so much I used to joke started joking with him about three years ago when we started talking about college and I said where are we gonna go to college so you're not leaving me I'm going with you and that's how close we are I love you Drake I could not be more proud of you we come up here come up here on everybody just real fast come on he is a he's an awesome guy he really is got an awesome awesome call on his life awesome guy I watched him last night they he had a party at the at our house and had a bunch of kids over and but I watched him carrying two two cases of coke and I know I'm super emotional but I teared up because he didn't come and say can I go buy two kegs of beer to celebrate he had two cases of coke and that better not change another discussion event but but seriously you know what he's done he's going out on his own now what they do when they get out of your house is a little different than what they do when they're in your house but here's the bottom line he's honored us he's honored his mother and I in tremendous ways and he's an honorable man I'm so proud of you I love you and we're proud of you and come back home next weekend there will be a ticket at the airport all right jesus paid it all come on Genesis chapter 15 open your Bibles to Genesis chapter 15 and I want to preach to you something that I feel heavy on my heart for everybody under the sound of my voice those of you listening by television do you believe that God's Word can change the atmosphere of your life watch this Genesis chapter 15 I'll begin reading with verse 13 and he said to Abram know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and they'll serve them they will afflict them for 400 years also the nation whom they serve I'll judge afterward and they'll and they speaking of your descendants will come out of that horrible situation is what he's describing they'll come out of it with great substance great possessions verse 15 now as for you Abraham you shall go into your file into your father's in peace it's talking about the grave you shall go to the grave in peace and you shall be buried notice these words at a good old age a good old age but in the fourth generation they speaking of your children and descendants will return here then once again in the eighteenth verse he says to your descendants I have given this land I want to talk to you about this occasion in the scripture because I believe it speaks to us today in in a significant way I want to talk about God is planning your comeback he's planning your comeback God came to Moses and he said I want you to make a covenant with me and in this covenant I'm promising you two powerful things number one he says I want to reveal to you some things about your future and I'm going to talk to you about how you're going to die one day you're gonna die Abraham but I don't want you to be afraid of death I don't want you to worry about dying so I'm gonna go on and talk to you and reveal to you how you're going to die and he said here's how you're going to die this is what it's going to look like God promised him that when he went to the grave you will go to the grave in a notice things the exact wording good old age so apparently there's something called a bad old age to me the bad old age would be you don't have your memory you can't get around you lost your mobility lost all of your health lost lost all of your ability to do anything even on top of that no resources run out of money no retirement resources terrified where am I gonna get my next meal what am I gonna do nobody loves me nobody cares for me I have nothing I'm just I'm at a bad old age but he said no I don't know boy you need to hear this because we're the seed of Abraham the New Testament declares that you shall come to the grave in a good old age a good old age means as my days are so were my strength to be a good old age I believe means we ought to just expect and claim that we'll have good memories and we'll have healthy strong bodies and I know we get older and everything changes for sure but I'm claiming today the good old age when I die it's gonna be at a good old age it lines right up with Psalms 91 with a long life I will satisfy you and I said long life with long life somebody's listening to me in tremendous fear of dying prematurely and early in your to grab hold of the Covenant promise that God gave Abraham that you will live until you die a good old age I'll always have provision I'll always be taken care of because man is not my source David said I am I've been young and now I'm old and I've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread why don't you smile right now and say I see me in the future and I'm gonna act one day way way way way down the road died a good old age in that good news that's good news be free from the fear of what's coming I tell you what's coming good it's what's coming and then the second promise profound promise that God gave Abraham is not only will you die at a good old age but I'm promising you Abraham that when you go to the grave you don't have to worry about your children I don't care what it looks like when you go I am making a covenant that will outlive you and I'm going to take care of your children he did throw in there that there's gonna be a time of darkness in their lives whom I love I chasing I will I correct and if your kids and they will they've gotten off course they will be oppressed there will be a time when it won't be like you wish it was there will be a time when it looks so dark and bleak for them but I'm promising you Abraham in the Covenant that I make with you that your children will come back again to where I called them to be there will be a comeback not only for you but there will be a comeback for your children there will be a time when their captors will be crushed there will be a time when their bondage will be broken the darkness and defeat is only a transit fleeting moment I promise you whatever seems to hold them will not hold them in the long haul they will come back did you catch it they will they will come back there's going to come - coming back in the fourth generation you'll see the comeback there's going to I'm going to bring them back listen to this where to the land that I promised you no matter how pessimistic no matter how negative it looks to you're going to come back it's a time of the comeback it's time to get up off the mat if you've been knocked down if you've been through something if you've been through financial setback or some kind of terrible thing is hit you in your health and our something's happen to your family we need to believe that it's time for a comeback it's no time to quit it's no time to give up it's no time to moan and groan I'll bring you out with great substance they're not just going to come back but they're going to pick up stuff through the experience that they go through that I'll turn around and use for my glory they're coming back with great substance we may be down but we're not out because we serve a comeback God Frank Wright was the second string quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and he holds to this day the record in the NFL for bringing a team back from the greatest deficit in in having to be made up in a football game what happened in this particular game is the Buffalo Bills were losing 31 to nothing at halftime and the coach said I'm not going to waste my first string quarterback on this game it's impossible for my team to come back so he pulled the first string quarterback out hoping that he wouldn't get hurt and put the second string guy in named Frank Reich Franklin like goes out there and everyone else is thinking it's too late everyone else is thinking there's no way but Frank Wright kind of has this mentality it's never too late to win it's never too late to win he brought his team back to a 33 31 win and when it was all over they interviewed him and he said I you know I hear people say we'll give him this one we'll give him this one but he said my motto is we'll give them nothing and I want you to know the attitude of our God is I'm not gonna give up on anybody second samuel 14 and verse 14 says this as water poured out that can't be regathered spilt water yet does God devise a plan or a means that the banished be not expelled from him he said sometimes things happen in life and it's like spilt milk it's like water poured out and there's no way in the world to get back you'd give anything if you could get that moment back you'd give anything if you could get that experience back and it didn't happen but sometimes in life stuff just happens and when it happens the enemy whispers it'll never be good you'll never be whole it'll never be right you'll never be the same person but the Bible said when you go through a spilt milk scenario you serve a God who devises plans whereby the scattered will be gathered and will be brought back in other words God has a way to regather regain restore reclaim refresh and renew your life no matter what came out God says I'm devising a plan to bring you back to wholeness God is a God that makes a way of return a comeback and it's time for you to experience the spirit of a comeback job 14 and seven said for there is hope for a tree that when it is cut down it will sprout again though the roots thereof get old and wax old and the earth and the stock of the tree dies yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth all it needs is the ability to pick up the scent of water and that water represents the Holy Spirit and maybe the enemy has cut down your family tree maybe it feels like that he's just devastated everything but at the scent of water the power of the Holy Spirit I preached it when I'm on top of the world and I preached it when I've hit rock bottom and I still believe that I serve a God who can give every family a comeback every marriage a comeback every situation every drug addict every alcoholic you can have a comeback you've been through hell you messed up you did something you shouldn't have done it's time for a comeback at the scent of water the Bible said there is a river whose streams shall make glad again that's the river of the Holy Spirit and if you can get a sin of that River while I'm preaching God can orchestrate your comeback there's a river flowing that the dead can come to life again the out can get in again well I had the chance and I blew it well this is your comeback and the out can get in again the down can get up again the depress can dance again it's time for a comeback with feeling sorry for yourself quit having a pity party you've heard me tell you when you have a pity party nobody brings gifts and nobody shows up but the devil he's the only one who wants to come so what do you do you grab hold of the promises of God and say you know what I wish I wouldn't have gone through that but I'm coming out with great substance I'm coming out with something I didn't have and I'm gonna know how to be used even greater of God because everything I went through give God a praise if you believe it hallelujah I believe it watch this watch this the prodigal son in Luke 15 had a comeback he jumped the fence of the hog pen and started back to the father's house and while he was a great way off that's what I love I love the fact that he was a great had a long way to go we we think that we've got to get our life all together before the comeback starts but just the moment that you turn back to God just the fact that you're watching this program just the fact that you're sitting in church this morning just the fact that you came to church and you really didn't feel like it and really you almost if the truth would be told I think we ought to have cameras in y'all's houses I think we would hear all kinds of things and come are we going now no well let's go well I don't know it's pretty behind tired I got we gotta go get groceries did that but but something in you said let's go and the fact that they were a long way off from their company was a long way off from his comeback but the moment that he turned the bible said and when the old gray-headed father saw him from a distance he took off running after him I love this wording and fell on him that's tender in it and kissed him fell on me fell on him if you'll just turn back to God well yeah I'm gonna try to get my life together and if I can quit doing this and quit doing that and quit going out with sadly sook oh she's messing me up all the time if I can quit smoking that refund if I could quit oh I'll tell you I like my dancing in my club I just came hard to give that up you just need to turn to the Father and let his love fall on you now here's something I preached on the prodigal son all of my preaching life and I don't know how in the world I miss this but it's precious if you can catch what I'm saying I don't know how I ever always wondered I've given a lot of different theories on it and in truce on it but but why did the father come running and I tell you I felt like the Lord spoke to me so clear this week in my heart and he said the only reason the father went running is he couldn't come back on his own so many people try to fix their life but he couldn't cover his shame and his stink of the pit stench of the pig pen he couldn't quit his habits he couldn't cover up where he had been and what he had done but here comes the father he puts a robe of righteousness on him puts shoes on his feet you know slaves in the Bible were not allowed to wear shoes because then they could run away but here comes the father before he ever gets home orchestrating a means of his comeback puts it covers all of his dirtiness puts shoes on his feet and then takes a ring and restores his gift which means you're now back in the partnership you're now in the family business and the Bible said the gifts the calling of God are without repentance which means you might have messed up you might be a preacher listening to me who went through a divorce and you've been sitting on the sidelines but God says it's time for your comeback and I give the gift back I never take the gift you've always had I'm preaching to somebody who almost gave up on your vision and your call but it's time for the comeback and you can't come back without the father out there bringing you that he understand that and I tell you if you'll just move toward him in his direction something's gonna fall on you favor is gonna kiss you grace is gonna kiss you the love of God is gonna kiss you he's not mad at you he's just waiting for you to jump the fence out of a Pigpen and just start doing the best you can don't worry about your addiction don't worry about your mess-ups just start moving and the father will come running and something to fall on and you can't make it back without the father you're trying to do it on your own and when you get it together then I'm gonna come to church and have a big service and celebrate what I have done you can't come back without the father he loves you and all he's waiting on is you in this service right now to turn to him and you can have a comeback he had to come back you know in the Bible it talks about John Mark and how double minded he was and Paul got aggravated with it and said he's a loser he's not determined he's not dedicated and I'm not never taking him on a missionary journey with me he's a week we Christian he's got a call on his life but he messed up the call and I tell you that be humiliating for the great Apostle Paul to say disqualified but something happened and he had to come back because in 2nd Timothy 4 and 11 Paul said I'm about to go on a missionary journey send John mark 4 he's profitable under ministry he had to come back I want you to see it he was a liability now he's an asset he was a problem now he's an answer when you like for God to move you from one side of the ledger to the other side from a loser to a winner from a problem to an answer God can do that it's called a comeback Jesus was laid in the tomb Hale rejoiced and they they counted him out but on the third day he had a comeback and when he went up on the clouds and ascended into heaven the disciples got a little downhearted and the angel said why are you crying this same Jesus is gonna have a comeback he's gonna blow the trumpet and he's gonna come back and we're gonna meet him in the egg maybe you're not shouting like you used to shout maybe you're not smiling like you used to smile maybe you're not joyful like you used to be but the truth is God knows how to orchestrate you to have a comeback in sports they have the four runners a front runner is someone who does wonderful as long as they're in the lead you ever met people like that in other words as long as the numbers they're on their side they've got good faith and a good attitude and they go out and they and they they don't get down but the moment that they're not the front runner they get discouraged and want to quit they want to give up because they've gotten behind I'm preaching to some people who have fallen behind and the enemy's whispering do you give up the devil wants you to think it's gone forever whatever it is that he stole from you it's gone forever but it is not gone forever because God is planning you a comeback now I want to close with this stop judges chapter 16 says gives us one of the greatest stories of a comeback King in the Bible judge in the Bible his name was Samson Samson fell in love with Delilah and she shaved the Bible said seven locks of hair he had dreadlocks because his hair was so long and he had seven of them and we know that as long as he kept the locks the Philistines couldn't touch him those standards those those they're things in our life that if we keep we locked the devil out we stay strong in the Lord and the power of his might but she deceived him and he was willing to be deceived and she shaved the seven locks off of his head of hair the first thing the enemy did was put his eyes out because any time you start compromising your standards you lose your vision you can't see that they that be with us aren't more than they that be with them anytime you start compromising you see you can't see the opportunities you can't see the goodness of God the good that God is doing he lost his vision the first thing that goes when you start playing with the world and lay in your head in the lap of sin is you lose the vision God has for your life then you have to go with plan V and then he lost his freedom because they could have been changed and he couldn't get his hands up you become a spiritual zombie during praise and worship because when you begin to compromise and the enemy shaving the locks of standards off of your life not only will you lose your vision but you lose your praise you lose your prayer life you lose your praise you lose the they're singing but you don't feel anything and then the Bible said he started going round and round treading corn he was making bread for the adversaries of God he was feeding what he should have been fighting he was raised in calls to fight the Philistines but now he's feeding it and anytime you start feeding things that you should be fighting it's a sign that the enemy has has has it has you in a defeated place a lot of people are listening me today and you're feeding those habits feeding that uncleanness feeding that stuff and when you're feeding what you should have been raised up to defeat I believe this is a generation that God has raised up not to feed the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes the pride of life but to defeat it this is not a generation that's supposed to be addicted and bound and messed up and sitting around with a hookah or whatever they call those things I don't know what I'm talking about I didn't say a hooker I said a hookah but maybe the hooker to a man I don't know they used to go hand in hand I'll just preach like I want to if you're gonna look crazy at me I look crazy back we're not a generation that's supposed to be sitting in a is it a call to hookah you don't know what I'm talking about that's the new thing you know that's the new thing the kids they can do it for one hour and they smoke dope and and pass it around and they all just sit in there and get that's crazy why are you feeding what you ought to be fighting we've been called in this generation to make a difference and the Bible said the Bible said I really think they shaved his head the Bible said they made they made sport of him they made fun of him they're having the biggest time looking at him feeding feeding what he's supposed to be fighting and everybody marked him off and I thank you I think the Philistines walked off said we really did a number on him look at look at that haircut look at that buzz cut look at that and they won't golf laughing but put his eyes out change that's what the enemy's done to many of you but I love this verse verse 22 howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaving they clipped it short but somebody really messed up in this story because they didn't have a barber in that jail cell watching the length of his hair and when they were not looking something began to happen in his head that's where a comeback starts before you ever get up financially spiritually you get up mentally when the Philistines were not looking what they had taken from him was coming back it was coming back and I believe that when he cried God do it one more time it's the cry that God looks for from the person who needs to come back if you want to come back cry God do it one more time the church in history laid its head down in in the lap of compromise and the lack of purity the lock of worship the lock of faith the lock of prayer the lock of Bible reading the lock of the baptism in the Holy Spirit the lock of the second coming of Jesus Christ has been shaved off in the church is nothing but a social club and the devil thinks that we're finished and done with but while he's not been looking God has been orchestrating our comeback and the Bible said in the fourth generation they're going to come back you see it's the fourth generation the first business the first generation in a business the corporate world the first generation is one of sacrifices somebody sacrifices the Starnet business the second generation enjoys all the benefits they inherit but the third generation usually sells out in one way or another spiritually in the church our forefathers sacrificed that and then my generation enjoyed it the next generation wants to sell it out but God says before that can happen there's coming a fourth generation that is going to come back they're going to come back to everything that I've called the church to be so I've just come to say that if you need to come back spiritually if you need to come back physically if you need to come back financially if you need to come back in your family I believe you're in the right place and if it's the darkest that's ever been and if it's the coldest is ever been in your life you're the very one I'm prophesying to today you are going to have a comeback if you'll turn back to the Father give God a praise right now it's time I said it's time for a comeback stand to your feet all over this room everybody at every campus still and quiet for just one moment stand quickly to your feet every head bowed every eye closed I was astonished in the first service and how God filled the altars with backsliders and people coming home I feel like telling you today and I can't tell you strong enough today that if you'll just turn to the father if you just turned to the father that he's going to come running to you and something's gonna fall on you called the grace of God the mercy of God you can't get back without the father you can't have a comeback without the father and this is your comeback this is your comeback are you ready every head bound please play every head bowed every eye closed Lord I pray right now for every person under the sound of my voice that you've sent this word it's time for their comeback you know this is not just another sermon for you this is God's voice for you in this out in the first service look at me just a minute the first service there was a guy here by the name of Perry I only tell you about period believe it or not Perry was my trainer in the gym which he wasn't a good trainer apparently but he really is he's awesome that's what he does full-time but he's he's like he's like Samson he's got hair down to here it's got long long hair and he's muscles and and and he was he was my personal trainer for two weeks I think it was a me but but but let me finish my love story Perry's wife had last Sunday Sunday before came to the shaking hands out at the backdoor tears streaming down her life she knows I knew him and we just really got to know each other well and just a good guy you know totally saved he started coming to free chapel when I started working out with him and he came and got saved and all of that and their life was complete his wife came and got saved their life completely transformed it's amazing what God did somehow he got off on the wrong track went down the wrong road got into some addictions and things hadn't been in church in the longest she told me last Sunday tears please pray for Perry and she wrote his number down and said call him and I wish I could say I called him I forgot it I'm just being honest I totally forgot it but God didn't Perry came this morning imagine what I'm saying I didn't know Perry was here and I get up and start preaching about Samson with his long hair getting me cut off and he's and he's sitting out there and he starts weeping and when I gave the altar call Perry and his wife came right down here and I prayed him through to something to fell on it it's all I can tell you big old man big muscle man but he's weeping like a baby weeping like a baby Oh hallelujah he devised this means whereby the sealed and the broken and the scattered can be can be gathered again unto Him this is not an accident this is your day every head bowed every eye closed at every campus pastor I need to get right with God I need a comeback I need exactly what you're preaching and I know I can't get I can't get this comeback without the father I've been trying to get my act together but I need the father I need his love pray for me I want to get right with God today if that's you and you're ready for your comeback slip your hand up high wherever you're standing right now it's precious my goodness that's powerful at every campus lifted high and unashamed there's no shame in this this is powerful every one of you that raised your hand you're just like the prodigal son you know what you're about to do you're about to jump the fence you're coming out of the pig pen and the slop and in the moment you jump the fence the grace of God is gonna come running and about halfway down this aisle it's gonna fall on you I want every one of you that raised your hand at every campus to get out of your seat and come stand right down here in the front I'm going to lead you in a prayer you don't need to wait you don't need to hesitate you don't need to procrastinate you just need to come here they come here they come come on clap and celebrate this is a miracle this is amazing this is powerful this is this is the miracle here they come here they come here they come they're gonna get a comeback hallelujah it's time for your comeback those of you watching by television it's time for your comeback the family tree has been cut down but you're sensing this the scent of water at the sin of water you can begin to bud and blossom again turn that family over to Jesus pick up the phone and dial the number that's on the screen we'll pray with you today Jesus will be Lord of your life come on they're still coming look at this if your any of our campuses come on hey can you sing a little bit of that I feel it just sing a little bit of it come on Church sing others have you need to come others have you need to come this is your service this is your comeback this is your comeback I believe he can do it again [Music] right away where there was no way I'll see you do it again your comeback this is gonna start right here right now depression fear guilt shame condemnation it's being covered the father already brought what you needed to cover everything that's shameful humiliating in your life he's putting shoes on your feet giving you your gifts back giving you your call back and now you're gonna have you come back you're ready pray this prayer everybody say these words out loud Lord Jesus thank you for the cross where you died and rose on the third day for me and I receive you you love me just like I am I cannot change me so I lean totally on your grace your love your mercy I wouldn't be here if you didn't still believe in me I know you have already planned my comeback and I receive your forgiveness I am your child you are my lord and from this day forward I'll walk in victory in Jesus mighty name amen and amen I want to do something hold on I want to do something I prayed this prayer in the second service and it really connected with a lot of people and I want to ask you how many of you would say pastor Jensen I have been they sound silly maybe but maybe it doesn't I have been tormented in my mind that I'm gonna die of premature death maybe a physical challenge that you've been going through the enemy's been whispering you're gonna die young you're gonna die early I came today with a specific word God told Abraham you're gonna be you're gonna go to your grave in a good old age so how many of you would be honest enough to say something's going on the shaken your confidence and you almost accepted well I'm probably gonna die early because the mother did and done it up whatever would you raise your hand and claim a good old age right now turn to somebody and say I see you in the future years and year at a good old age come on now raise your hand if you've been dealing with that fear that little voice saying you gonna die you're gonna die you're gonna die early I'm gonna get I'm gonna take you out just raise your hand father in the name of Jesus I decree the Covenant that you made with Abraham over these people that we'll live to a good old age and I'm not afraid of age and I'm not afraid of the next season because I thank you Lord that I'm not gonna have a bad old age but a good old age the best is yet to come in Jesus mighty name if you receive it say yes one more one more I promise how many of you have family loved ones that you would like to have a comeback they were raised in church etc but they're not in church today how many of you'd like to see a comeback can we agree on this right now father in the name of Jesus I pray for every family I pray for every home I pray for every marriage I pray for every son and daughter I want them to miss what they use staff in an incredible way and Lord we send the Holy Spirit while there a great way off and we ask you for this miracle in Jesus mighty name they shall come back again if you believe it say men now hold on hold on everybody if you prayed that prayer there's altar people altar team is all around you and they would love to get your name I'd love to baptize you out in our baptism outside in the next few days we're gonna have a beautiful
