How To Move Bases EASY & FAST in Palworld

moving and power can be a bit tricky considering you can't just teleport your base or your storage with the click of a button and if you're like me your first base was built early in the game and mainly for survival however after exploring you likely found a new base location you love so let me show you the fastest and the easiest way to move your base especially early game all right so now let's talk about everything you're going to need in order to make this move the first thing you're going to need is to upgrade your pow box to I think at least level 10 I can't remember the exact level where you get your secondary pow box but you need more than one pow box in order to transport your stuff back and forth because the PO Box allows you to fast travel the next thing you're going to need is storage chest you're going to need at least two of these storage chests one at the location you're moving to and one at the location you're moving from next you're going to want to bring along a transporting pile you can tell a pile transports things by going into the details you can see over here the little box icon means that they can transport items for you so make sure you add that pal to your party so that's all the basic stuff that you'll need in order to make this move however if you want to make things a little bit easier on yourself I also recommend getting a grapple gun you unlock the grapple gun at level 12 you can see it's right here under ancient technology mean you will have to fight a boss at some point in order to get the technology points you need but if you unlock a grappling gun this will make your life a lot easier with this move I do want to give a shout out to tagback TV I was listening to one of his streams when he recommend the grappling gun which is how I learned about it and is why I'm sharing it with you today all right so let's talk about the actual move here I am at my original base location I've already moved all my stuff but this is where my first base was built and this is a pretty popular location I know a lot of people build here because it's where you spawn in on the map and it's flat land Kind of Perfect for a starter base first and most important is that you're going to want to place down storage chest as close to your poile boxes as possible so you need one super close to your poile box at your new base and one really close to your PO box at your base that you're moving from as you can see placement is kind of finicky cuz you can't place anything too close to it but if you can get it about right here you're in good shape let's talk about making this move if you don't have the grappling gun basically what you're going to want to do is pull out your transporting pal and while you're breaking down your base you're going to have a ton of wood and resources you get from your base being broken down as you can see the transporting pile is going to pick up all of that stuff and move it for you um wait for them I guess doesn't really matter so they're just going to transport this stuff to the box for you now the reality is when you are moving bases even with your transporting pile working for you you're not going to be able to transport everything out of your storage chest because of the weight so if I go in here I'm using Stone as an example you can see this Stone weighs over 1,000 lb in order for me to move it and if I were to put it in my inventory you would see I'm completely weighed down I can't move at all again if you don't have a grappling gun this is what you're going to want to do do open up your storage chest start splitting your stone in halves just keep breaking it down until it's a weight that you can work with all right so now I'm almost way down but I can easily move these resources back to my other base again that's the benefit of having your storage chest here because you can easily just come into your inventory drop off all of your resources into the storage chest and then go back to the base you're moving from now let's talk about the grappling gun the grappling gun is super useful and I would highly recommend at least trying to get the grappling gun before you move so again let's say you're moving all of your stuff and you grab all of your resources out and you're completely weighed down here's a demonstration of how easily you can move with the grappling gun there you go you can just drag yourself over to wherever you want to drop this stuff off in your storage chest depending on how you're moving which makes it super easy to transport items at a higher weight so here I am at my other storage chest and I can drop off all of my materials and now I can move around so the grappling gun is going to be helpful for moving even faster than what I've been showing you now I understand this is still a bit of a grind but it is the easiest way to move at the current moment in the game so I hope you guys have found this video helpful if you did
