losing and among us are you tired of playing fairly in a game which relies on just deception and manipulation well have you tried absolutely breaking the game with very unfair exploits to convert your character into being an unkillable god and guess what you can do all of it without even downloading any cheats because in my book cheats are very very naughty however exploiting the mechanics put into the game by the developers now that is completely and utterly fair and that's exactly what we're going to be doing today i'm going to be demonstrating how you can break the game using features which this game already gives you the player and how to break it in a way to give yourself a massive unfair advantage to the point where you will win every single game you play is it fair no is it moral no but is it very very very funny to watch yes it is so why not give this a try and see how many friends you can lose in a game where it is already exceedingly easy to lose all of your friends as always i'm the spiffing brit and today we're going to be perfectly balancing among us brand new hit sensation deception game where a crew has to fend off the imposter or is trying to complete their various tasks now this is a lovely and fantastic game but of course it can be broken and manipulated and cheesed in a manner which is completely unfair so i'm going to be demonstrating to you the lovely ladies and gentlemen at home how to break the game and before we do so make sure you sat back relaxed you have a nice warm cup of tea in hand because i mean this is the spiffing brit the most british channel on youtube where we'll be showing off some lovely exploits and if you're feeling especially fantastic my goodness you can even like the video now how does this exploit begin well it's pretty simple it's going to require the help of a friend just one friend i know it can be quite a challenge to get one of those in this day and age but trust me they're out there so once you've got yourself a friend what you're going to need to do is actually close down among us because you're going to need to do something to the game before we actually play it and no we're not actually hacking the game's files we're doing something so much better so now that you've closed down among us and you have it ready right here in front of you we're in a prime spot to actually break the game what you're going to do is when you're on steam go into the properties section go into betas and opt into the public beta this is the developer approved beta branch where they trial future updates to the game what's interesting about this unlike most games is the beta branch actually allows you to play with regular players of the game this causes a little bit of an issue because technically the beta branch of the game and the regular branch of the game are two different states entirely and yet the game to an extent treats them the same now this exploit was an absolute nightmare to find but honestly it's absolutely brilliant what we're doing is we're running two different versions of the game in parallel with each other making modifications to one which won't affect the other because what we're going to be doing is effectively editing the game so that for the beta players like myself and basically no one else out there the game will be much much easier it's a little bit crazy and ridiculously cheesy but that's exactly what we're going to be breaking so now that you're actually running the brand new beta version of among us this is where you're going to need to grab yourself your friend any friend will do and honestly they don't even necessarily need to be a tea drinker because at the end of the day this friend of yours will be receiving the full rough of your game break so feel free to take out all of your frustrations on any coffee drinker you have to hand right so step one once you've found yourself a friend who's actually willing to host the game for you make sure that they're running the regular client of the game then get them to actually host a game once they've set up a lobby and they're actually running it make sure that they give you the code okay so there we go there's the code we can hop into our lovely game of course the among our servers are absolutely beans so we can't even get in but as soon as we get in we'll be in the game 2 000 years later i'm in lovely there we go okay so now what's happened is we're in the lobby which was made by kerm here now kerm's running at the regular client of the game and so he's able to actually set the game settings as you can see on the left for everyone involved they'll see the default settings of one times player speed one times crew vision 1.5 times impositive vision and that lovely kill cooldown this is all the regular stats however what's gonna happen now is we're gonna have our friend actually leave the server once kerm leaves the server i now become the head of the server because i was the next person in this is going to allow me to edit the game's actual settings however this is where the slight discrepancy happens because these settings are edited based on who's running what version of the client anyone running the beta version the client will receive my rule set everyone else is going to receive a different rule set what we're going to have for myself is a enlightened set of rules where i can have nine emergency meetings with zero cooldown equally the discussion time when i call an emergency meeting will last 120 seconds for everyone else it will just be 60 seconds when it comes to player speed i will now be running at free time speed i will have five times the vision five times the imposter vision and my kill cooldown will go from 45 seconds to 10 seconds oh and also long kill distance of course i can even crank down my tasks so that i don't actually have any tasks to do in the game whereas everyone else does have tasks in the game so let's summarize each and every one of the settings you can use to exploit and what they'll do let's start with the most powerful player speed if you set this up to the maximum level you'll be going a lot faster than all other players you will be quite unstoppable and you'll be able to see a lot more of the map when it comes to crewmate vision if you crank this up to maximum not only will you be able to see more normally but if say there's a power cut you'll be able to see just about everything if you're playing as a crewmate this is ridiculously overpowered because you will be able to see just about everything on the map including vents opening and people getting murdered imposter vision likewise is going to allow you to pre-plan ahead for a lot of your attacks and see the enemies really far off however the most overpowered thing for the imposters is definitely the kill cooldown and the kill distance this is going to allow you to kill more people faster allowing you to effectively finish games before they've even really started this is completely and utterly broken and heck if you're a developer watching this this is the thing that needs to be fixed first we found that messing about with the tasks didn't really change much that would actually give players an advantage but one thing which is pretty fun are the emergency cooldowns and the amount of emergency meetings you can give yourself this is pretty fun because it would allow you the exploiter to call nine emergency meetings which is something no other player can do and equally if you set the voting time down to zero seconds this allows you to freeze an entire game in the voting menu until you cast the final vote this is a pretty insane power especially for griefers because it would allow them to just sit on the voting screen and make it physically impossible for the game to end i strongly don't recommend doing that because it's incredibly boring and finally the anonymous votes this isn't going to be the greatest exploit but if you turn on anonymous votes you're going to be able to see the voting patterns of all other players and they won't be able to see yours now this isn't very powerful but if you actually do it the reverse way round and you have your friend set up a lobby where anonymous votes is turned on and you the exploiter you turn it off and this is going to make it so that for all other players they won't see who's voting for who but you will be able to see who everyone's voting for anyway those are all of the exploits you can pull off and how you can put them to good use good luck messing about with friends but as always make sure to be nice to each other now to everyone else i actually appear normal i'm not teleporting across the screen left and right at free time speed i'm actually walking around at normal's pace this is because the game likes to actually delay the player's movement so is it to not appear that people are lagging around this has the effect of accidentally disguising anyone who's actually cheating because i am way ahead of where my actual player model is in terms of it actually being displayed to all of the other players in this lobby right now that we've got everyone in for our lovely test game i'm just gonna hit the start button and throw ourselves in if we are an imposter that's perfect that makes it lovely and easy to demonstrate if not well that's fine i can still show off how broken it is being a crewmate at ridiculously high speeds naturally i am the crewmate and now that i'm in the game as you can see i can immediately teleport around the map equally i only have one task to do i have to just divert power to security now this task is relatively easy to do when you can just teleport around the map immediately pull that and then all i need to do is run right the way back across the map to security i've just seen that nova has killed someone that's fine doesn't really make a difference for me what i can do press the emergency meeting button instantaneously bam now we're in a meeting which lasts 120 seconds guys i don't know who it is i think uh white is pretty sus bam there we go now we'll see how everyone votes oh my god right i'm gonna complete my task there we go bam job done i'm really doing my part for this ship so there is a limitation to this and that is of course if an imposter does find you they can still kill you this is a slight issue if you're running around this uh the map at high speed because whilst i was actually up here on my registry i was killed by nova who believed i was down near security this is because my actual physical body lacks behind my spiritual body the way to actually speed this up is if you start doing a task your physical body teleports immediately to the task location but it does mean that if you're running around the map at high speed you might occasionally randomly be killed in a section of the map where you're not actually there right now what i'm going to do um is i'm the imposter this time which is brilliant so uh sylvie i'd like you to run off with kerm to the bottom right hand corner of the map and connor you're going to come with me in the top left corner of the map can you just follow me over here okay tell me when you guys are down in shields okay and i'm gonna run across the ship to shields okay so conor what i want you to do is follow my character if you can i should hopefully be going at your speed and what i'm going to do is i'm going to go right and then down and then across into shields and then i'm going to kill sylvie and then basically run away at high speed and hopefully it's going to look like i'm running with you and then i just teleport so three two one let's go am i still running with you connor is everything fine so i appeared i even faster speed or something dumb like that sorry nova oh that was a nice quick game oh okay right okay um my fellow imposter buddy do nothing this is now a demonstration of just how broken this exploit is so sylvie can you follow kerm around please um he's gone into med but he's in med bay okay now come on your screen am i even near you so i want you to walk down to the um to the bottom of the ship go to electrical and silver you go there as well and what i'll do is i'll kill sylvie was not actually being there right now raven and trace uh you you stick around with me and you can watch what i do because i'm actually not over there and anyway i'm gonna start running around the other side of the ship and i'm gonna run all the way down south and i've suddenly got right down to storage and now i'm right outside and come can you come over here and say hi to sylvie because i'm actually standing next to her although for you i'm not anyway now i am hello also it's crazy because i can immediately kill 10 seconds after whereas you guys take 40 seconds to kill or something dumb like that so there you have it ladies and gentlemen that's how to break your among us game and effectively give you infinite speed and infinite vision to effectively give you an incredible advantage when it comes to playing the game now of course when it comes to all exploits and video games and i'm somewhat of an expert when it comes to them i generally don't exploit multiplayer games because exploiting a multiplayer game isn't very fun for anyone as always i strongly encourage the devs to fix this because this is a very unique exploit i do occasionally see exploits like this in multiplayer games especially multiplayer games which allow modding where effectively players can separate versions of the games and effectively inject a separate rule set into games which does create an issue and of course and among us it creates a bit of a big issue so developers please fix this but of course before you fix it if you have some friends and you want to absolutely mess about with them in a completely unfair way but in a fun environment then i strongly recommend you give this exploit a go and of course after you make them cry and swear to never play among us with you ever again feel free to show them this video and then watch as they break down and realize that my god they've just been exploited actually i feel like there's a better term for that you've been spaffed no no do not do not spam your friends oh god do not spaff on your friends do not spaff near your friends my god and last week do not spaff your friends just exploit them instead actually don't exploit them either just be nice to them play video games with them okay it's a difficult lockdown everyone's trying to
