Gloomstalker Assassin Tactician Build Baldur's Gate 3

hello Travelers welcome to lore Spire today I'm going to be sharing with you the build that I'm using for my solo tactician playthrough if you look on the right side of your screen you'll be able to see a solo battle versus some Undead level 8 in the shadow lands just so that you can get an idea of how the build might work so first off we're going with a custom origin our race is going to be elf sub race what elf that speed bonus is just too good to give up here and then at level one our first class is going to be Ranger we're going to take Urban tracker natural Explorer favorite enemy Bounty Hunter uh background criminal and then our ability scores are going to be like this 10 strength 17 decks 14 con 8 intelligence 14 wisdom and 12 charisma our skills are Athletics sleight of hand stealth investigation Insight perception survival and deception at level 2 we're going to take a level of Rogue so that we can get some of this sweet sweet sneak attack damage and also so that we can improve our acrobatics stealth and perception skills at level three we're going back to Ranger and we're going to pick up the in snare in snaring strike and the long Strider spells as well as the archery fighting style level four sees us taking Ranger once again with Hunter's Mark for our spell and we're going to take the Gloom stalker subclass at level five we're going back the Rogue no real choices to make here though at level six it's Rogue once again and I thought about taking these Thief subclass here and it honestly might be a better choice but I did decide to go ahead and go with assassin being able to eliminate enemies as soon as possible whenever you're by yourself as quickly as possible I just decided was a better option now at level 7 we're going back to Ranger we're not going to replace any spells and we're going to take these Sharpshooter feet now I did think about taking crossbow expert and it's possible that I could if I get to this point and my uh my attacks aren't doing as well as I had hoped but I really do think that Sharpshooter will be the overall better choice so we're going to go ahead and take that now at level 8 we're going to take our final level of Ranger and we're going to go ahead and take Spike growth as our Ranger spell then after that we're switching over to fighter okay and we're going to go ahead and take the defense fighting style get that plus one bonus the AC very nice then at level 10 we'll get action surge of course which is awesome and then at level 11 one last level of fighter and I'm going to suggest taking the champion just to uh increase your crit chance I feel like that'll be really huge for this build so yeah go ahead and take Champion here and then at level 12 we're gonna put our last level into Rogue that way we can get another sneak attack die and we get another feat and this one here we'll go ahead and go into crossbow expert all right folks that's the build I hope that you like it I hope that it helps you out let me know down in the comments what you think of it and let me know what you're using to solo the game on tactician mode this has been Chris with lore Spire be well my friends
