FOUND A SAFE I Bought Abandoned Storage Unit Locker / Opening Mystery Boxes Storage Wars Auction

Jeremie here with hjh adventures and if you recall just this past week about a unit for a hundred and eighty dollars this unit was in the dark in an enclosed storage area no lights whatsoever I barely even know what's in there I do know there was a weight bench I do know there was weights I do know there were a ton of totes and boxes and I also know that there was African art so we're gonna do the official unboxing today it's in the trailer I've brought it home I'm at the warehouse here we go but just before we dig in to those who are concerned that go man this is the despicable thing that you do you make a fortune off of other people's hard times and bad times guys it's all gonna go in the dumpster if somebody doesn't buy it and yeah I'm making a living I'm trying to feed my family just like you I just do it in a different way and I'm saving things from going into a landfill preserving history and bringing happiness to others as they buy these items can't go wrong that way Kenya it's beautiful day in Ohio and I'm lucky enough and fortunate enough to actually be unloading in a covered trailer under a canopy on a covered dock at the warehouse and at my level I need the warehouse and you may be thinking how much does all that cost when you get to that level the warehouse alone $400 a month I rent it out I've got to make at least that to break even plus the thousands of dollars that you see me spending on units plus all the gas and travel on the road plus I have two employees they make twenty five percent commission of anything that they make so when you get to certain levels in certain thresholds it really does start to add up but it makes money as well and you can do it and there are people who do it at a much larger scale than I do but I'm fortunate to be here today doing it here this way let's open her up [Music] see the safe I've placed the safe up here on the dock and what I'm gonna do I'm gonna get this tote this is just a bunch of paperwork it honestly it's probably a lot of personal items that I'm not going to show you anywhere so you see there's a yearbook so what I've done is I've set up barons and barrels so that would be scrap metal garbage and recyclables we'll get that out of the way and then we'll get the microwave out of the way and we'll start digging into these totes that tote did have a tremendous amount of personal items in it one of the gems right here this is a plane it's a tie tack and it is silver garbage bag will be nice to use with garbage looks like yeah we've got a we've got a definite pirated collection of everything so what I do with all this pirated stuff I just toss it in the garbage looks like it's rags and more bags and towels I've got quite a few crates of papers a tote here that says gens papers I'm gonna get those all out of the way and then we're gonna jump into this John 3:16 to see what's in there I like it good verse as I was going through one of the crates taking all the paper and putting in the recycle bowl here I found in the sealed bag spider-man issue number 98 from 1978 now it's in the bag unfortunately it's got creases I don't know how much it's worth off to look that up later but I like finding things like that John 3:16 for God so loved the world he gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life let's see if God's gonna love me in this toe all right we got some home decor yeah okay this is one of the things that drew me to this this African this African art and I think it's highly collectible I've never sold any of it before All Right see this tag here made in malli not sure where that is but this stuff looks really cool this is a diploma we'll set that aside I'm hoping there's a lot of this stuff for those of you that don't know I did spend some time in South Africa helping to build a foofy slide which is actually a zipline over a lake for a camp there all kinds of different interesting things here lots of neat African art I love it I think we got yet we got another diploma oh here we've got wedding candle we're gonna definitely home-decor that looks like maybe that's the stocking hanger Christmas okay some glassware got some personal photos this sounds sounds broken no it's not broken it's filled with shelves Oh check this out you know what this is this is ivory that's real this is real ivory real carved ivory look at that there you can see all the way through it oh my goodness this is beautiful how cool is that my entire bedroom is themed water and and ocean and all of that this would look incredible in my bedroom that piece of ivory has got to be worth something that is amazing I love it oh look at this look at this I can't get there yet okay there's a price tag on that 898 here's what I'm trying to get to without breaking anything there's a lot of great home decor look at those elephants that's great lots of cool stuff in here looks like there's a a bowl in the bottom okay there's the crucifix oh you know what I bet you these were for decor as well so bowls set up like that to mother with love boy I've been finding a lot of these eggs oh we got we got the Easter Bunny in that egg it's like an ashtray there's a dime full full scold would be nice if it was real gold okay some candle holders oops sorry about that some more things Shepard's on that's gonna be Psalm 23 personal items there's a remote okay that's personal stuff last where oh here we go here we go some more African more African art nice look at that just it's hand carved it's beautiful absolutely beautiful hope you can see it we got dishes this more IRA I think this is this looks like more ivory maybe tusk to the elephant see there's a big wrapped thing down here let's see what this is it's heavy whatever it is and beautiful - how cool is that made in Kenya some more art wooden carved figures these are beautiful oh we had another one wrapped up like this whoops up here like a teapot John 3:16 was so good to us let's try John 5:24 maybe they got these totes from their local church I don't know oh I like this already remember commemorative quarters but they don't feel like there's anything in there no not in this one now just the books I wonder if the books are worth anything does it feel like there's anything in this one there's a bunch of them in here let's hope no nothing in that one composition a journal let's see life is good for the most part yet emotionally I'm tore up alright let's not read that right now we could use some quarters still nothing and still maybe they hid all the quarters in the safe do you guys know how I love quarters alright nothing this is I mean if they have the collecting books that's a good sign that we may find the actual collection in here of something okay all the books were empty unfortunately unless there's more in here we got some DVDs white Christmas haul let's see if they're in there yes they are in there that's good that's a good thing Hulk oh Hawk is in there it's good brown sugar that's what I call George she's my brown sugar that's in there we'll have to take them on home and watch that tonight alright we've got some more some more DVDs just set those over here I'm not sure what that is poster art set up some personal stuff here ah coin collecting there's a magnifying glass for a coin collecting that's that's great Oh beautiful beautiful we got a family edition Holy Bible King James this was probably on the coffee table alright that was right next to booties and ballers I don't think those go to get together well the rest here clothing I will donate all the clothing we got more clothes jeans you kind of want to check and between the clothing make sure nothing's hidden inside sometimes a little handguns money in the pockets we got in there inside the igloo we've got another igloo but sometimes people hide stuff in there and that's just nastiness being hidden in there not much to work with there dig in all right last one Greenglass I don't see any markings do you see ornate design no markings again as I've shared in the past not my expertise by any stretch of the imagination wish I knew more about it you can't know everything about everything and frankly I know a lot about some things but more often than not I have no clue green glass cup this feels like it's in pieces and then this one bro so that one's broken all right melt glass this is by nap Co Cleveland it's like a planner this feels like a planter no it's not it's actually is that a warmer so I guess should plug it in and it's electronic tea pot maybe you probably would know better than me well slip that side see if we can look forward Wow this one is just jam-packed this beautiful glass little pitcher again no markings [Music] Winston good love watching me with the glass this is Pyrex at the top of something we're trying to find the matching piece here a little coffee canister top probably in here somewhere feels like another mug with a handle yeah another Winston mug with the handle two of those will ice cream sundae dishes feels like different glasses so nice glass with markings but well not markings shot glass top of the canister and we just found the top to our coffee canister big cherry tomatoes I think those are Tomatoes nice little jug little picture no doubt if I say something wrong you guys will correct me little oranges and the top Wow maybe this one's for honey because of the honeycomb design but another picture [Music] merry-go-round cup and that's maybe for syrup pouring syrup there's a top somewhere we made another cup the other one matching another cup that makes three of those no markings this one didn't make it that one did not make it and no it's not because I handled it so rough it's because it was jam-packed and crushed in a storage unit for years or because I handle this so rough haters gonna hate there's another one Cleveland China right there okay another picture I think that's a candy dish do I dare even show you cuz haters are gonna hate Jeremy you're too rough that's okay don't worry I'm still making money Jeremy you're money hungry that's okay just trying to feed my family then we got another shot glass Cheers this one's labeled scrapbooks and pictures well just take a quick peek cuz they're not always labeled right but if it's private information I'm not gonna share with you right now that does look like a bunch of scrapbooks and some baby items yes all right we got some money in the piggy bank and is this jewelry no this is a photo album all right I'm gonna need a few moments to go through this but since we're at the piggy bank let's see how we did remember one hundred and eighty dollars for this unit don't want hanging up in there well for more sense one of the things you may be thinking is Jeremy I don't have a trailer how do I haul all this stuff well I found mine on Craigslist this one behind me I paid $2,100 for I've already had it up for sale and an offer 4500 I've held onto it because all the Rudy ray Moore auction items were in there and so I could probably get about 5 grand for it one of the things I like to do is try and find trailers during the winter on Craigslist they go for dirt cheap and then come spring all the landscapers and racers and all that they need them and they pay top money for them so usually I can buy trailer flip a trailer within six months and double my money you could - it's a piece of cake it's really easy this one's a heavy one and this one is filled with records records records more cry to tear let's see let's work together yeah this is all records winter something we've got more personal items and a whole lot more clothing I'm something stuck in there not a gun that we wanted but to get a hanger and another hanger let's just dig through real quick and see I've got something there's something down here and route 66 sandal and a boot things like this hold weight in this old weight bench there's just truly no resale value in it for me here so these weights are gonna be great for scrap metal and I actually didn't dig this out next because I'm gonna go to the scrap metal yard tomorrow morning first to show you exactly what it's like making it a little bit of money out of just about everything weight set is out of here we've gotten more totes up front looks like more photo albums in this one yeah that's more personal stuff let's just take a peek down yeah we're just gonna I'll take care of this one and we'll video cord the next one a few things stacked up here this is tr des Beaux Davo we've got packaging peanuts in here something in a bag and something with a cord you know what this looks like one second let me take my clothes off doesn't that look like the Star Trek symbol look here I'm gonna get it out I think this is a neon star trek-like it's exactly what it is with the sticker still on it it's a neon Star Trek light Wow brand-new cool there is the court let's see if we find out how much it cost nothing there it's from Tara neon no bill very cool vacuum pieces a Tristar or something I don't know maybe it's in here I'll set this aside and if we find the vacuum we got the pieces to sell with it let's see what's under this here okay clothing there there's something hidden in here I tell you they hide things in clothing it's just pair sunglasses though it's nothing to write home about these are scented rods black ice and it smells like black guys wow that's strong that's potent couple bags potato Express apparently you cook potatoes in this bag potato Express have no clue never seen one before ace bandage legal pads potato Express pad for bag excuse me it's this oh here we go here we go see if we got silver this looks like a wedding band stainless steel this isn't silver infinity symbol see if I can find silver anywhere I don't see it there and most likely fake diamonds I mean you don't lose your unit and have diamonds that big in your ears and this the fitting is actual silver so the setting is silver get some heavy duty night regard plus gloves Wow they are 10 XL some serious loves those would be good I don't know what we use them for but I'll hang on to those not selling fake rock clothing to donate clothing to donate power strip oh yeah sweet hat another one George was just telling me I need to up my swag game all right I'm not sure what that says oh this is a hat collection there we go that's what it is hat collection right never have enough fruit at noon apparently I where'd Jill boxers I think that's it for this one unless you count this pair of glasses marked oh and we've got the sword emblem here I just popped the styrofoam out of there and check this oh nothing has ever been out of the package we got a samurai sword nice look at that beautiful absolutely gorgeous love it I love it grabbing a couple more boxes here this attachment to what carpets rubber oh this is attachments to vacuum and the vacuum is I know I've solved the vacuum because I saw that shape okay so this goes to a vacuum that is in the unit it's just packed in there and I'm not to it don't remember the name of the vacuum one I never heard of before weird shape suit we have here she's greater VHS tape you got some couple nothing California USA 259 that anything that doesn't watch me since I've been at this about six hours today I'm gonna go ahead and call it a day now we didn't get to the safe yet it's still right here I promise we will get to it tomorrow I'm gonna finish this up this is how far we got we got a hole in the trailer here but there's just been a ton of work to do with this one I got to drop donations off at Goodwill I got to get all of this stuff back inside the warehouse and I got to do all that before George gets home and I wanted to get her flowers before she got home so she's more important getting her flowers than getting into that safe but we will get into that safe tomorrow
