all right here we are 1840 again and it needs remover the only reason we found that because the last video it's good thing I got you to do wheelies here we go so you can wash it and have nice wet mud we'll call it mud [Laughter] so that slides your whole axle forward right in the chain inside changes that drive gene that's all that effort to grind up for you still it's only the front ones that are attention no there's one back to so there's the tensioner that pulls the back one back front one for Tina looks like funny torches so that chain has to come off then you can get this off then you can get the real bearings so I'm gonna cover in the top you can work on the inside those are the 18 for for okay the trick is to pop the the whole axle off of the studs there and get this plate off and get the plate off and then just slide the whole thing back now I got lots of room I think I want to glove because I'm sure there's lots of sharp edges in it don't you change that too it's kind of tight-knit you must have more girly I had the little glove inside that yet because my girls are welding I gave Kevin my old racing gloves gonna help or just stand here and commentate so the front ones over your parka lock pins go in and those things notorious for not working the other thing is is there's a boot on the other side so this is where all the water gets into your chain cases it's not a very good design but they ran like this forever and as long as the lubricated with something yeah so while he's supposed to have ten thirty of them really yeah but we've been putting a high training because high train will take the water better nice are you doing with lubricating the chain the chains because the bearings are all packed agree so yeah I just set you free loaded yeah there's no preload on it now so fussy bring your own gain your own stuff covered in old milky dirty stinky oil all define oh yeah fine see told you that was a problem plastic they ever twine gets into the bearings rips out seals well look at that mmm you weren't driving it hard enough if you can melt the plastic then it acts as a lubricant you just not driving or knows why don't let twine get wrapped up on your axle seal yeah yeah Thank You YouTube viewers please continue to comment what's broken on the outside of the shoe and the covers defense is when you're sitting in the cab you can't see you tires so you don't know that that wheel bearings gone unless you check just watch that we use it oh yeah so you can try and punch them out from the other end or you can run a little bead of weld on there and it'll shrink the cup and then it'll fall out it's whatever you want we're gonna punch him out because we can get through here's my punch I give it 5 bucks if you can tell what that is moments later well moments late they'll do hours later cuz you're a case guy that's the lower pen that the three-point hitch goes on on like an old old old old John Deere and then it like bends up against something to see no it's not but it makes for a good punch it's a big job to change that stupid thing and it's a really dumb design on John Deere's part guys comment what model that's out of [Music] [Music] your bearing kit you can buy the whole kit I thought you had a buy it all separate but it comes as a kit and you can get this kit for $85 Canadian any and from the case H dealer or you can get for $55 from a and I so I like to guess where I got mine rich doesn't have a set of bearing so we use the old bearing to put the new one in but make sure you put it in like this I had you the other way around and then you got no lip and knock the old out so you just use the bearing rock and it works great did you use a punch a lot of times you'll end up chipping the top of the bearing because you buy cheap china bearing when we did wheel bearings we've never used an installer we always banged him in with a punch I've never chipped one once yeah here go pack this behind you so Kevin's got these fancy wheel bearing Packers but he's got a lot more money than I do because he's a farmer not even cost $15 you just grab it put a little bit in between until you see the grease start squeezing in between the roll see it start to come up and you got the grease everywhere and you're good to go my issue with bearing wheel bearing Packers is that you have to fill the center of the thing full of grease and then you either waste that grease or you leave it and then that grease gets full of dirt and sand and then you're putting that and then your next day oh I just get all that grease and just goop it in there I do it the right way I'd have it together and be on the road by now you still packing a 1st Baron [Music] all right so this is a skid steer not a car so we want a little bit of preload on the Bering Sea put no pressure on this nut but I always give it a little couple wraps of the hammer just to make sure everything is seated to bad if you ask me it's also low speed right you're not doing 120 mile an hour no you want a little bit of primo that's better right there no I was brand new Aaron will edit the part where it shows that has been ready for installation [Music] every time Milwaukee comes up with another tool I'm like this is my favorite tool something else I'm like this is my favorite why are you cleaning a brand-new o-ring some machines get new parts some don't this is why we got a full oh we're done oh you didn't put the plate on it we told you that I told you that you shouldn't put that plate on first now you have to go and find another cutter I'm not gonna work just cut it video watch it in full [Music] [Applause] I'll bet you $10 we'll see a comment on that just because of that we're not even gonna edit this before it always goes faster the second time I have a feeling that this Cotter keys you're gonna snap it I have a nail or we got vintage as well that falls off it's gonna issue yeah that's true all right so to put the chain around the gear it's a little bit tricky and there really is no direct way to tell you how to do it the chain needs to go around the gears it's not going to slip off of the drive in the middle of the machine but if it is on the teeth and hangs down past the back of the gear it's not gonna go on if your studs are hitting it's not gonna go on if the bottom of it is on an angle it's not gonna go on it really is just trial and error grit your teeth if it doesn't work walk away try again but at the end of the day have the axle all the way towards the center of the machine have as much of the chain on the gears you can and then slide it forward remember to have the o-ring in place and the plate in place and good luck you got a goop the plate up against the machine and then we did forget to put a little bit of grease around the o-ring to keep yo ring in place it is what it is done all right what's the torque to those 66 tiger doggies and I wouldn't that impact four times just get these on they're not tight little snugger lock them up and then you gotta put the adjusting bolts in here slide this forward it's not that chain can you over tighten it yeah I guess you could because then you'd be putting all kinds of side load on that oral motor you ain't playing this one just kind of rocks just a tiny little bit the wheel it's supposed to run like if you can rock the tire back before it's that far but what you want so when you get down to here it's are you talking them to I don't know 100 just for fun just for fun Loctite knew never cease russell's you that's perfect that's perfect that's what you want yeah lug nuts are torque to okay that is it for this repair the creek oh yeah yeah well get the pins fixed no but yeah next video hope you guys guys yes and girls let's keep the twine keep the baler twine out of it there we go [Music]
