[Music] jesus [Music] jesus you won't be [Music] he's a mind regulated [Music] [Music] amen anybody ever had to call on the name of the lord did god bring you out when you called on him amen the bible says that the name of the lord is a strong tower but the righteous can run in and be saved if there's anything you need from the lord you ought to lift your hands and call on us tonight hallelujah jesus glory to your name god [Music] that's it why don't you lift your hands and glorify the lord in this place hallelujah truly god is worthy of all the glory and all the honor amen you may be seated tonight hallelujah we're going to get ready to move forward in the service tonight we're going to get ready to call on a testimony amen anybody know that we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony amen amen amen i know i've relied on the testimony of the saints amen moving forward with trials and things that i'm going through and if you can build your faith amen and believe god the same way that they did amen what god did for them he'll do for you amen the bible tells us that god is no respecter persons amen amen so if you have the faith amen god's got the power to do what it is that you need to do amen at this time we're going to ask if sister sean washington would come and bless us with a portion of a testimony [Applause] praise the lord saints praise the lord for truly the lord came into my life save me sanctify me and fill me full of the holy ghost lord i give honor to my leaders to apostle herman murray to lady danielle to our great four leaders dr shirley mary apostle obi is mary give honor to my husband you know i'm to all the saints of god but you and i thank the lord for saving me sanctifying me feeling with the precious holy ghost i thank you for bringing me to this ministry god has performed so many miracles and done so much for me i just can't even tell it all i have to jot it down on the paper a little bit cause i'm about to tell you and i'm gonna run fast ain't gonna be all right i'm gonna tell you how good god meant to me coming down through 2019 there's everyone know i told you before that i had the four hearted texts my aorta my aorta ripped and i had the heart surgery when we went over to 2020 the enemy thought he was going to have me but he still didn't get to have me in the months of february and march i began to have allergic reactions to all to all different kind of medications which made me have all kind of complications in my body but as we begin to go down the list the doctors began to take me off that's what god did for me when april in the week when april came one week in april i was sitting there with me and my husband was sitting at the house about one o'clock in the morning and something strange began to happen to me and so he said i'm going to call the ambulance baby so he called the ambulance to me and they came to pick me up and it was suspected that i was having a stroke you know i'll text my leaders it wasn't one minute before they text me back apostle said you are not having a stroke i was just praying for you went into the hospital it wasn't five minutes later when we got into the bay where the trauma was they cleared me there was no stroke thank god for that went on down in may i began to hemorrhage in my body so i had to go into the hospital for a week they began to run all kinds of tests i passed every test the hemorrhaging stopped god did that for me went on down in june i began in may and june i had to begin to wear a fanny pack as many you probably saw me i was standing back at the door and i had a fanny pack on it wasn't because i didn't have it on because it was a purse i had it on because it was a defibrillator because my heart was not going to store it back if it stopped so i had to wear this it was about it was about almost 20 pounds it was very heavy so i had to wear that around my waist and then i had all kind of placed up under my clothes but i came into the house of god and i served him anyway i stood on my post no matter what and i served god anyway and guess what it never went off not one time went on down to august and september me and my husband contracted covet and got pneumonia we both got pneumonia and my husband's in hospital i'm the heart patient i didn't have to go to the hospital that's a miracle god did that for me went on down to september when i got to september i said well you know and i have been returning back to my job the lord returned me back to my job in february got on my job here come the layoff so now i'm sick and i don't have no job that was in september of last year here come the layoff it's okay but god bless me continue to pay my tithes god bless me to continue to give god bless me to give my building fund god bless me to pay off bills boost my credit score over 100 points while i was not why i'm still not working right now god just began to just do things and open up doors and just make ways for us and then i went on i was talking to my doctor another time and i was asking him about taking a particular test uh when you have heart problems what they call heart failure we have heart failure by taking a particular test and he said no you don't never need to take that test again and i said why am i never going to take the test again because i won't receive my miracles he said you don't need to take the test again he said because there are 17 chambers in your hearts and 10 of yours are damaged you're only working on seven chambers ten of them are completely damaged they'll never work again i sell seven that's god's perfect number and you can't tell me i'm working on seven let me tell you what god went on and did for me god bless me to sing in the convocation choir this year right up here in this temple when the devil said i would never sing again he said it was a lot of things i would never do on that week he also blessed me to walk 60 miles on the same week of the convocation don't tell me what god won't do no shortness of breath i'm not dizzy i'm not about to fall down god has been good to me you can't and guess what he got some more things coming and i'll tell you about them later pray my strength in the lord amen why don't you put your hands together for god's keeping power isn't god still a healer the bible says that many of the afflictions of the righteous but the lord has delivered us out of them all amen put your hands together for that testimony god's delivering power amen and at this time we're going to turn you over to the hands of don't look like what i've been through why because i've been healed by the power of god the words that i'm healed tonight the word said i'm healed tonight lift those legs and praise them in the household you're healing come on and praise god for your deliverance hallelujah he didn't have to do it tonight glory to god but he did praise the lord come on and clap those hands for the temple worshippers praise the lord thank god amen for that wonderful selection you may be seated in the presence of the lord the urges are moving at this time and we're going to use for a little thought today peace and the time of storm peace in the time of storm i want you to know today that there's trouble in the land today on every hand trouble trouble trouble amen and trouble is raging everywhere hallelujah and we need peace people are murdering their mothers their fathers their wives and their children it's a murdering demon in the land we need peace saints family is in the land hard times joblessness trouble in the white house storms in the republican party storms in the democratic party jesus is the only one that can relieve these storms and give us peace when faith fails in your temptation there are there is at the utmost danger of shipwreck you're going to have shipwreck a lot of times when trouble comes but if you're just trusting jesus somebody said if you trust him and never doubt he will surely bring you out now it came to pass luke 22 8 22. now it came to pass on a certain day that he went into the ship with his disciples and he said unto them let's go up over to the other side of the lake and they lunge forth now praise god when jesus said let's go over to the other side he means just that it's nothing can stop jesus hallelujah whatever he say that is what will be done amen now when he had entered into the ship matthew 8 23 his disciples followed him and behold there are worlds of great tempest in the sea and so much that the ship was covered with the waves but he was asleep jesus wasn't worried about it you see he know that he had power over the storm and i want you to know today that jesus had power over your storm i know today that many people are going through many things they're going through many storms alive but i want you to know when the storm of life is raging you can trust in the lord you can trust in jesus because he said i'll never leave you not forsake you he said i'm with you even until the end of the world hallelujah and the disciples came and they wanted to wake him up it's one thing don't forget that you got jesus on board hallelujah when you are going through don't forget that jesus is on board with you hallelujah he said why are you fearful oh ye of little faith it's so it's so easy for us to forget it's easy to forget that jesus is on board hallelujah then he arose and he rebuked the winds hallelujah what a mighty man this is woke him out of his sleep many of us if we hadn't woke up we'd have been staggered all over the house but he just woke up and said a few words he said peace be still that's what he was saying to your trials in tribulation if you would just believe in him hallelujah glory to god and remember he's on board hallelujah glory to god a lot of times when people begin to go through things they forget about jesus hallelujah they gonna think about what they can do hallelujah a lot of time for his goodness tonight but thank god my first lady amen thank god belated and yelled into this wonderful and fine host of ministry and to all of you my father's children god bless you take your seed in the presence of the lord amen what a fellowship what a joy divine leaning on his everlasting arms what a blessedness and what a piece is mine leaning on his ever lasting arms i'm just grateful that god has loaned us amen to life another day you know he didn't have to let it be this way amen amen i believe all of us know even at this point how precious and how uncertain life is amen but god loaned us the life and he gave us another opportunity to come together in fellowship amen and we are never to take that for granted even anytime god blesses us to come back into the house of the lord that's always a praiseworthy event amen you ought to enter these gates with thanksgiving into these courts with praise because he didn't have to let it be this way but god in his goodness amen has given us another chance and another opportunity amen to come together and to honor him in the beauty of holiness amen we thank god for all of those that are joining us amen by way of our live services god is always a man smiling on us and giving us great fellowship with those that can't be here and we want you to know amen that we pray for you and we ask god to smile on you where you are amen and bless you for your kindness i'm getting so many letters a minute emails amen from various ones across this country even from other countries amen that are watching amen some or are just now finding us amen but we thank god that god is putting our name on the wind amen and he's carrying it so that we can spread this gospel to the ends of the earth and that's really what our goal is amen it's not to be popular i guess you figured that out by now amen but it's simply to spread the message and the hope of jesus christ to the ends of the world amen and i'm just grateful that god has blessed us that we can preach in this pulpit right here in dallas amen and preach to people literally around the world look at somebody and tell them neighbor there is a word from the lord and i am a lover of the word of god anybody get excited amen about i get excited amen about the preaching of the word of god and it ain't got nothing to do with me being the preacher amen i love the word of god i'd love to hear other people preaching amen i just love the fact that in this hour these closing hours of time that god is still raising up a generation of people that are going to declare truth and righteousness amen you got your bibles don't you come on hold that power up thank god hallelujah because everything else is going down but what everything but the word of our our god the book of saint matthew's gospel amen saint matthew's gospel the seventh chapter amen and i just want to read two verses in your hearing tonight saint matthew chapter number seven and i want to call your attention to the 13th and the 14th verses that saint matthew chapter number 7 amen verses 13 and 14 hallelujah thank you lord and when you have it say amen read what the bible says enter ye in at the straight gates the bible says enter ye in at the street gate for what for wide is the gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way and broad is the way that lead it to destruction and many there be which go in there there's a lot of people going in that wide gate a lot of people are going down that broadway boy how can show get quiet when you want to he says and there are many people there be which go in there because straight is the gauge because strain is the gate and narrow is the way they go down that wide gate they go the broad way because the gate that leads to righteousness is too straightforward that word is not s-t-r-e-i-g-h-t it's s-t-r-i-t it's too narrow it it's constricting it's a tedious way and because it is a whole lot of people going that other way they don't want this way boy y'all don't got i'm i'm trying to find the amen corner here tonight a lot of folk are going that way because it costs too much to go through that straight game read what he says which leadeth unto life this is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it and only a few are going to find this way i want to talk to you i feel like i need to read that again first he says enter ye in at the street gate it's more than than one gate hey man you you got to make sure you're going in the right gate you're going the wrong gate you end up in the wrong line so so he says come on in at the straight game for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many that be which go in there there's a lot of folk going that way then he says because strain is the gate yeah because the reason why because this gate is straight that means it it's not easy passage through this way it's straight that that don't mean without curves or or without turns it means that that straight str that means it it's confining it's it's constricting there are obstacles that you gotta you gotta get around you gotta maneuver through this cave and people don't like that they want the easy way so they just go on in at that broad way the bible said and narrow is the way this is the way that leads to life and and i've said it before this is one of the most terrifying scriptures in all of the bible because the bible says few there be out of all of these folk going to church now in my bible it's printed in red lettering they they always told me when when you see red lettering in scripture those are the direct words of jesus christ this is in red lettering so this says to me jesus christ himself said there's only a few that's it a lot of folks shouting a lot of folks speaking in tongues a lot of folk in but jesus says there's only a few that's going to find this straight and narrow way just look at somebody and help me and tell them what if the majority is wrong what if the maturity is an error what are we supposed to do with this scripture when he says there are a lot of people that are going in that in that in that in that broad way that wide gate how are we supposed to handle this when he says that the way that leads to life is straight and narrow what should that cause us to do as people who say we want to enter into the kingdom of heaven how should we handle this kind of knowledge what should it move us to do how should it impact our life what should this move on us amen to accomplish while we're here if the way is really as straight and narrow as he says it is and if it's true that only a few people are going to find this way that that leads me to the thought what if the majority is wrong and can i just skip to the end of the sermon and tell you the majority it's wrong jesus can i talk to you tonight how much time do you got for me to talk to you jesus taught his followers to be warned of the dangers of being his disciple it's not a it's not an easy undertaking to be a child of god anybody that tells you it is that that the world is going to just give you a pass and the devil amen is going to let you make it they're not real children of god the devil is so so so diabolical he's so so wicked so intent on turning you around and turning your heart from god that he'll never just sit on the sidelines and watch you walk on up the king's highway he's always going to try to throw a stumbling block in your way he's always going to try to get you to the place of being comfortable he he's always going to try to get you a man in a place where well you're so careless and you're lackadaisical amen when it comes to spiritual things where you're unconcerned about your soul because amen what they're asking you to do it's just too much and you hear people say stuff like that now honey it's just too much i i tell you coming to church and doing all and you got all of these rules and all of this and you can't do that you can't listen it's just too much can i tell you it's not too much amen it's what it takes in order to get there and if you really want to get there you're going to line up with what god has said i don't know nobody that want to go to god's heaven and being telling god you're wrong for telling me how to get that come on now if it's his heaven and if he's a holy god and if holiness is your ticket in then that means you got to settle yourself and you've got to prepare now that whatever i've got to do in pursuit of the kingdom i'm willing to do it but the one thing i'm not going to do is fool around and miss my chance to get to heaven i don't know how you feel about it but i'm not gonna fool around and miss my chance to go to heaven the devil is a liar i'm gonna argue back with god over the stuff that god says amen we need to do in order to make it power amen the only thing you can do is line up with what god has declared he said the way that leads to life it's a it's a dangerously narrow way it's so narrow that you might not can hold hands with nobody and get through this way boy y'all don't got quite enough if you the lord y'all don't got quiet if you think you can hold hands and you're going in locked on with about seven other folks the devil is alive he said this way it's never you know what that means that means if you can't save everybody you just got to let some folk go and get in there and try to make it through this way the best way you can if you don't go with family members i come to tell you it's so narrow you may have to walk it all by yourself what are we to do with this straight and narrow way family he said it's going to be dangerous in order to separate yourself from the world what did he say what happened to us he said you'll be hated of all men can i tell you when you really come over on the lord's side folk are going to hate you i don't care i don't care amen how they willing amen to buy drinks for you when you're not safe when you get saved those same folk amen that loved it when you puffed twice and passed oh god they gonna hate you they don't like to save you they love to hide you they love to find you they love the drunk you they love the partying you but they hate to save you they can't stand your wealth they can't stand your conviction and you've got to count up the cause and understand that when you get saved and come on the lord's side folk are going to walk over they're going to talk about you he said he'll even seek to take your life people are going to have a problem with you they'll testify falsely against you you got to be careful now because folk folks y'all hate the preacher now amen you i was reading one pastor amen was telling this congregation he meant about an attempt he meant to ruin his reputation where folks just started telling lies that amen started getting stuck together to try to take his church even because he was preaching truth if you don't think folk could do that in this hour he meant you are sadly mistaken that's the reason why even you can't believe everything you hear it's time for church for now to stop being trash cans and letting the devil pour out kind of mess in your ear you know what the bible said in the book of isaiah he said you ought to be able to discern between the truth and lie when you hear stuff you can't post it you can't repost it you can't like it because you can bend them apart into a lie you want to have enough holy ghost to get on your knees and pray and seek through the deception they'll testify falsely against you [Music] he said they'll seek to destroy your life the bible said in the last days it was going to be so tough that people would would kill you thinking they doing the lord's work that's what paul had going on he been religious and thinking that these folks amen that's coming and lining up with the majority of religious folk he saw them as an enemy and the bible said he sought to kill him and can i tell you amen we're living in a time now where people will seek to kill you and they'll think they're doing god a favor by getting rid of you and sometimes it's not your body they're trying to kill sometimes they'll try to kill your good name sometimes they'll kill your reputation but you've got to know that as long as i'm standing with god even if it's a thousand to one i'm still in the majority because greater is he that is in me and he that's in the world you've got to realize that the majority might be wrong that's why we can't we can't line up with them you know what else jesus what jesus said would happen because you choose to serve god he said they would even put you out of the synagogues that means they'll kick you out of religious circles oh y'all don't got quiet now they'll kick you out i don't like them holiness folk i don't like that holiness message that hey man i would invite them but i i don't like all that holiness amen that's all right the fact that you even know the under the word holy means that you are without excuse are y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you amen we ain't got to sit up and force our way in there's another word going around now amen there's enough that you know about living holy amen that makes you say i don't want to hang around you know why because in that wide gate you can do what you want to do but in that straight in that narrow way that way that holiness preachers preaching oh god they're preaching not just salvation they preach sanctification and when you're sanctified i mean you can't do what you want to do that's the reason why folk now don't mind being saved but they don't want to be sanctified because that sanctified way it's too straight it's too narrow but this wide gate i can come on in with a wife and a boyfriend oh y'all didn't get quiet now this gate's so wide i can be saved and still drinking liquor this gate is so wide i can come on in and do what i want to do but jesus said it's destruction [Applause] you're gonna die in that wide gate well y'all don't get quiet now it's gonna ruin you going in at that wide gate but he encouraged us to know we only went inside oh look at somebody and tell them neighbor we on the wind inside oh god you're always saying that i said look at somebody and tell them we're on the women's side i don't care they may have the numbers but my talk god is not determined he meant it don't determine right and god don't look at numbers to determine right it's right because we're sticking with the word of god and i don't care if they got a million people and it's just you and your dog you stand flat-footed you stand behold for god because god's gonna turn this thing around after a while i come to tell you you don't need a million people the only thing you need is an assurance that they that be with us more than they that be with them this thing is getting serious now you know what jesus taught us taught us that we got to count up the cost we got to understand that being on the large side is going to put us in opposition to the way of the world can i tell you if you are really a child of god if you really in church and not just at church that's going to put you in opposition boy y'all don't get quiet cause you know you got a bunch of folk that's at church but they ain't in church oh god like you've got a bunch of folk that's around christ but not in christ oh god because when you're in christ and when you're in church it's going to put you in opposition with the world when you really get this thing in your heart oh god you're not going to feel comfortable out there doing that stuff that's why fresh john said that they that are born of god cannot sin oh god because this seed remains in them when you got that seed in your heart you don't even feel comfortable in that position you don't feel comfortable in that space you don't feel comfortable in that atmosphere there are some things you can do and go home and sleep at night not when you got that seed on the inside of you and i'm trying to tell you that when you get saved and get it for real you don't have a desire to do that stuff that you used to do you can't go those places that you used to go when you get saved and saved for reason there's got to be a change in your life [Applause] you gotta stand in opposition to the world why is it necessary because light has no fellowship with darkness oh y'all don't get quiet now you know what the bible said amen but god is light and in you is no darkness at all not in him now i don't even know why this is controversial because it's in the word of god but you still got a lot of poke amen that can hear you quote scriptures and still get angry with you even because they don't like that scripture hurry up and get me to the point where i'm blessed in the city where i'm blessed in the field where i'm blessed going out and coming in oh no honey you've got to be obedient if you're willing and obedient then you'll need the good of the land but if you just like everybody else in the land then i come to tell you god's going to drive you out and you know who he's going to give it to he's going to give it to those people that little nation over there that he declared i didn't choose you because you were more in number as a matter of fact you were smaller than everybody else but because you stood on my word and because you're somebody that i can show the world my power through god said i'll take it from the heathen and i'm gonna give it to you i come to tell you what your holy self just stand still look at your name and tell a neighbor god's going to drive them out so that we can come in and possess this land it puts us in opposition can't get around it because it don't go together life can go together with darkness that's why jesus said what the bible said rather that you got to put difference between holy and unholy god says moses you got to tell them everything ain't holy and everything ain't clean boy y'all looking like y'all want me to shut up everything ain't clean and everything ain't holy so you boy y'all ain't saying nothing you got to hear what he said and then if it's really what you want to do if you really want to live right then you got to start separating what you know it's right from that stuff amen that the devil is trying to get you to hold on to and you know what focus say y'all the only one think that way everybody else is doing i'm coming to tell you i'm not concerned about what everybody else is doing you try telling your mama that everybody else go everybody else let me kids do it what's your mama tell you if she was a good mother i'm not everybody else's mama i don't care what everybody else is doing but if you in this house you're gonna take your behind the bed because it's 8 30. i wish i could talk up in here i come to tell you it has nothing to do with what everybody else got going on what i want to know is has anybody read the word of god do you believe it do you believe right is still right now do you still believe holy is holy do you believe clean is clean are you willing to line up with the word of god [Applause] i know people now they they don't want this they trying to change it they're rewriting it some of them don't preach from this don't care what it say just throw the bible out the window if you picking and choosing which verses you gonna live by and if that's a privilege that god gave us then why don't we just throw the whole thing out and do whatever we want to do well y'all don't get quiet now cause you don't even believe that mess yourself you don't believe this you don't think that that's the way we ought to govern ourselves you know why i'll tell you why because some of you not all of you but some of you that haven't been here long enough to get a conviction about yourself and and can i tell you what a conviction is all about a conviction is something so strong it'll follow you a conviction is a it's a spiritual habit lord i wish i could talk up in here i was talking to my to one of my business partners the other day and he said you know habits are stronger than rules he said you got to keep rules but habits will keep you and i come to tell you when it comes to holiness holiness god y'all ain't saying nothing it's a spiritual habit it ain't about keeping the rules it's about the fact that this standard of holiness is keeping us lord could i talk to somebody here and what has happened is that we don't mess around and got a conviction about ourselves look at somebody tell them he's talking about me now oh god you can tell look how he's looking at me he mean me i got a conviction you know what i found out about some folk some folk leave this church and go down the street and lord they'll start doing what everybody else is doing you know what that means that means they didn't have no conviction they just let me talk them out of doing some stuff and some folk y'all don't get quiet as quiet as it's kept you even got no conviction you just let me talk you out of some stuff you don't even believe it's wrong you just doing it because that's what i said but i'm looking for some people that says brother herman i'm not doing this because you told me to i don't search the scriptures for in them i think they are god i have eternal life i've been studying to show myself approved unto god and i'm not doing it because you said do it i'm not doing it because you said don't do it i believe that holiness is still right [Applause] a conviction a conviction it's defined that's the state of being convinced of error i know it's wrong it's my conviction look at y'all ain't saying nothing that's my conviction i know right from wrong i know it i've seen it i've read it i know every word of god is true i know right from wrong and that is the basis of my conviction man shall not live by bread alone but he's got to live by it it got quiet over there every word that proceeds out of the mouth of god and i'm trying to tell you brothers and sisters it's time for us to get some conviction about ourselves we've got to be compelled to admit to error that stuff is wrong ain't nothing right about it it don't even look right it don't feel right and i come to tell you if it was wrong yesterday it's still wrong today can i talk to something if it's wrong just because i don't preach on it for three months don't mean you go and pick it back up boy now y'all ain't got quiet cause you got some of these folks hey man they've been in church all of their life and they doing dumb stuff that they know we ain't never believed in doing you know why because they've been at church but they ain't got no conviction because if you can sit up and shout out the word and then go home and do something different then you're not convinced can i talk to you you get sick you want me to pray for you because you want god to heal you you want my prayers to benefit you but you don't want my words to change you something ain't right with you [Applause] call the pastor which one the same one you said didn't run my house you know some of them one that was here under under low bills murray and you knew he called you out and stand you up y'all ain't stand up and straighten you out in front of everybody and you knew what was right you knew what was wrong look at y'all ain't saying nothing but now amen you don't think i'll call you out you don't think i'll stand you up but can i tell you i don't have to do it that way there's enough in your heart that says if you rebel against god he's going to show you the stuff that's wrong to do and i'd hate for god to have to get you while you waiting on me to stand you up conviction also means compelled to admit to the truth i don't care if it's a hard truth admit it i tried my way it didn't work it meant that why y'all looking and getting what's so hard about admitting the truth because that ain't what everybody else is saying and you know i went i heard their pastor preach and he gave me a brand new definition of this stuff can i tell you something when you know you got the truth what anybody or what everybody got to say is irrelevant you think i'm sitting up trying to listen for tell me what they think my name is listen can i tell you something it's irrelevant to me because once you got the truth everything else ain't nothing but bad smelling lies coming out somebody's mouth can i tell you when you know this word for yourself when you have searched this bible when you're reading and you know god then what everybody else got to say don't have an effect on you because you know that at the end of the day you got to follow peace with all men and holyness without which no man shall see god look at somebody asking what happened to your conviction well y'all was scared see that you see i scared you up look at somebody just asking what happened to your conviction and if you still got to tell them it's right where it's always been rooted and grounded in the word of god let me hurry up the reason why you got to have a conviction in this hour because it seems like holiness has become an offense to not just the world but holiness is now an offense to people in the church well they are siding with a carnal majority i'm waiting on this section right over here to get off of me and let me preach yeah they're siding with a carnal majority and guess who they preaching against they preaching against holiness folk lord y'all ain't saying nothing they don't even preach against sin as much as they preach against holiness folk i was telling them the other night in virginia even i believe it was you know now the problem is we're the one getting whooped down oh god you always say nothing because they don't join the carnal majority now all of a sudden when they talk crazy and everybody feel like the crazier they talk then the better out they are in the eyes of the world i remember when one preacher amen started cussing and got caught you should have saw folk honey he's so real that's the kind of church i want to go to because he's just real and look at the world cheering us on to become more carnal and more carnal and you've got folk in the church that think that they're winning the war because they're just like the world well if you think you're winning let me ask you how much holier has the devil gotten compared to how much more colonel you are now we are the ones that's getting whooped down now and people in the church trying to be as carnal as they can be because that's what gets you applause now that's what makes the world notice you now they don't talk about you because you so real and you're so woke what if that's what being woke is honey you need to go back to sleep because you didn't understand the dream [Applause] everybody now is joining the carnal majority and it's sad now because because the pressure is being applied to make you just like everybody else you're the only one to believe that what i mean but that don't hurt my feelings ain't nobody else i haven't been to ten churches a member of ten churches in the last 12 months and i never had a pastor to preach the kind of stuff you're preaching don't nobody else talk about this kind of stuff that don't hurt me you know why because i know i'm preaching the truth i don't have low self-esteem in the pulpit if you ain't preaching what i'm preaching you're wrong and i'm right because i'm telling you what's in the word of god you can give me opinion you can give psychology but at the end of the day this is the only thing we're gonna be judged out of so all i got to do is keep putting the word between me and you and if you gonna fight you got to come through this word to get to me it says what's happening now the pressure's being applied you're the only ones people stop preaching that years ago i mean you don't hear nobody else going all that holiness in hell stuff i heard one preacher say i grew up in one of them atmospheres where they preached holiness and hell and it messed me up it ruined my life no it didn't it just ruined your carnal fun because you can't go out there and do that mess without being convicted now now i'm sitting up in the bar and i don't even feel right because of that holding this in here stuff they put no that ain't that mess they put in here that's what you call conviction and i don't care how your taste buds telling you it's right your heart your soul and your mind it's testifying that it's wrong and if our heart condemn us then god is greater than our boy y'all just look like y'all want me to hurry up but can i tell you god is counting on you to stand even if you've got to stand by your self look at somebody until the neighbor god's counting on you to stand oh no look at somebody that was the wrong one look at somebody and tell them god is counting on you to stand but i'm the only one this way is straight it's narrow you got to make sure you can fit through this gate well y'all don't get quiet what we want is convenience but can i tell you this gate is so narrow you meant to take your backpack off to squeeze through this cave look at y'all nothing that's going to hold you back that's why the bible said put you on the lord jesus christ because he gonna get you through the game and i'm trying to tell you this thing is happening now and that pressure's coming even from the church world oh because everybody took that other pill they got everybody loving the applause and the approval of the world and the world is loving the fact that church folk are getting carnal they are loving the fact that preachers are now doing some of everything used to be they they they were very reserved around preachers they uh oh i'm sorry oops i didn't i didn't mean to say that but you got to forgive me i'm sorry i just ain't used to being around y'all and all that but forgive me but now but now they okay because the stuff they're doing the preacher doing too and so so everybody's sitting around the card table now lord i've been going a while but i do know my own address this is three nine seven two seven eight hey ain't this full gospel holy temple well why y'all sitting there looking like y'all he never heard this stuff before i'm trying to tell you they love it they love it because now there's not enough light to shine on their wicked ways the bible the bible said men men they they love darkness because their deeds are evil and when the preachers and those that supposed to hold up the bloodstained banner when when they can't shine lights then men love that because their deeds are evil but you have even now preachers that are joining the carnal maturity or they talk talking any kind of way doing any kind of thing and being as carnal as they can be and then you know what they got the nerve to say i'm sorry for you super spiritual super holy folk i'll tell you what next time maybe y'all just so deep and so spiritual wait a minute so you're gonna preach to me that god is a holy god and then when i try to be like the gods you told me about now you're gonna whip me down and to ah deep hope i wish you would preach against sin as much as you preach against me [Applause] the truth is we were never supposed to be popular we were meant to be peculiar but we stopped trying to be peculiar which means a purchased possession you look you looked out and looked it up before service it means it means a personally purchased possession that's who we were always supposed we were supposed to belong to god but now he got to share us because we don't want to be completely his ain't no fun it's just too constricted it's too straight too narrow so we want all this baggage this carnal baggage because we don't want the burden of having to unload all of our pleasures and unload all of that stuff that's going to keep us out the kingdom so what we do we move the landmark we move the goal post now and now the stuff that used to be outside the parameters of holiness because we didn't preach different we thought god had moved the landmark because we moved but the devil is alive can i tell you what he said in jeremiah he said stand in the way god and seeing as for that old path wherein is the good way look at somebody and tell them neighbor the old way is just better oh god this new stuff they got at now this stuff ain't strong enough to keep nobody that's the reason why you can shout on monday oh god and cuss on tuesday and be pregnant wednesday because this new stuff can't keep nobody but he said the good way is in the whole path and when you find it walk in that path but they talking about the old way somebody want to do that stuff y'all look so dry i don't know where in the summertime look at y'all wearing on them skirts in the summertime i don't know what make y'all do that y'all out there exercising with long skirts on and tennis shoes wow lord look at them talk about you i know what some of you want you want them to talk about your hips and and your chest look at y'all getting quiet hey man i'm trying to figure out how holy women amen can indulge those kind of conversations used to be a time you get offended when folks start whistling and talking about your hips but now even you wearing skirts but they're so tight you skinny and folk can still see your drawers i wish i could talk to you up in here it's time to get back to living holy it's time to look right it's time to do right it's time to be right [Applause] we cannot join the carnal majority [Applause] look at these brothers clapping yeah that's right look at you in these tight pants you stuffing your big old black shelf and some pants and you got to lay down on the bed and try to pull them up the devil is alive come on out of these stockings you them maybe you can't change me i know what's right i know where to land my kids i know what holiness is all about [Applause] there ain't nothing now to see preachers cussing no standard at all it's nothing now to see those at the pinnacle in the gospel industry at clubs now at concerts sitting up listening to these artists who sing some of the most vile songs and then gonna get right up in church on sunday morning and try to lead us into the presence of god i'm scared to put a mic in your hand you always say nothing because if david could play the devil out of somebody i'm scared you can sing that devil right back into him and the world is cheering us on oh y'all give me give me just a couple of minutes and they looking at us saying we stuck how many y'all just stuck in time y'all this and y'all y'all that and and then and they called me and told me what apostle passed away they had a whole radio show on radio station and they were talking about how apostle lobus murray has died and they want to know is full gospel going to change now that there's a younger man pastor in the church and can they can they stick with this standard and and somebody said well maybe maybe he'll bring them back up to date and then stop keeping them held back in that old way that that was the way but listen the thing about it is god said i'm the lord that god and i don't change i what was wrong yet can i tell you you tell me one thing god said was wrong back then that he's all right with now if god is eternal whatever he has declared to be right and wrong is right and wrong eternally that's what we've got to understand there's a carnal majority people have been so busy wondering and worrying whether or not this is popular nobody thought to ask the question is it right everybody else doing it everybody else got this going on is it is it popular oh now which churches are doing this because you know we we we can't be behind on anything we got to keep up with what's going on in the church whether or not is this popular call me a consultant and tell them i just need to know what's popular now in in the church world but nobody even thought to ask is it right it is is this going is this going to draw us closer to god or is this going to make us carnal is this going to feed our spirit or is this just going to feed our flesh you know that same flesh that you're supposed to subdue every day but but this this this carnal majority is feeding that flesh and you're wondering right now you're starting to feel different and you're thinking different and all of the because this stuff that they got going on now there's nowhere in the world this stuff is feeding your spirit look at the stuff that's going on now and tell me that fist is feeding your spirit there's nothing spiritual about it it's just keeping your flesh alive and you're wondering why now you struggling to live holy why are you struggling in areas that you have to victory over it's because now you're feeding your flesh and what should have been dead we are crucified every day we're killed all the day long we should be crucifying this flesh every day all day long but instead we're feeling it because that's what's popular now it's unpopular for christians to be spiritual you don't want a spiritual you you so deep that's why don't everybody want to be around you because you're always deep and you don't do this and you don't do that and don't nobody want to be around you because whenever they're around you and they know you don't do that stuff then you just come in you suck the oxygen right at the room but i thought the bible said they that are in the flesh can't please god the bible said if you if you if you walk in the spirit you you you won't you won't obey the lust of your flesh nobody wanted to know is it wrong you know why didn't matter it was popular and if i didn't know it before last year taught me that people would jump on anything just because everybody else is doing it some of this stuff church folk didn't have no business even signing on to but because everybody was doing it well y'all don't got quiet now i i saw how easy it is to get caught up in stuff just because everybody else is doing it but sons and daughters you got to know god you got to know his word and you got to follow him i don't care what everybody else got going on see the reason why people can get caught up because they don't know what god said it's my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge if you hadn't been in the word you would have known you would have seen that this stuff don't even it it came walk hand in hand with you with your life in christ what if the majority is wrong jesus said many people let me shut up no i got the clothes many people take the broadway because it don't put a strain on them you don't cost them nothing you don't go in the hell don't cost you nothing you can be good and go to hell but if you're gonna be saved it's gonna cost you something jesus says if any man will come after me he's got to deny himself then he says you've got to take up your cross and follow me every single day it's going to cost you something every day proverbs says by the truth look at what he said and sell it not the question is how much does it cost the answer is everything you got you've got to be willing to spend everything you have in order to get the truth and once you have the truth the bible said don't sell it when you find the truth don't sell it give everything you got to get it but don't take nothing in exchange for it by the truth but don't sell it this is the same reason why people today are joining the corner majority because they don't love god enough to go through for him they don't they don't love him and you can't tell god you love him enough when he's calling you out of sin the bible said that if you're in the flesh you can't please god oh god y'all y'all he says in him is life and there's no darkness at all if we say we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness we're liars and we don't do the truth and even though we know that people still don't love him enough to go through for him he costs too much he requires too much of us good master what do i need to do to inherit eternal life don't lie don't steal don't come in adultery honor your parents oh i did that sell what you got and give to the poor and i'll give you an eternity in the presence of god that's all they don't love him enough to give up these carnal pleasures because we're so bound in this culture bound to the approval and the applause and the accolades that's what we want we're not looking for god to approve us we want them to like our pictures that's the reason why even if you don't wear that stuff you put it on on a filter and still post the picture like you got it on now y'all getting quiet it used to be a time when holy women didn't show their bodies folk came to your house and i don't care if it was your house you respected the fact that you had company and you went and put something on because you didn't want nobody to see your flesh but now just because you took the picture in your house by yourself you think you can post it out there to the world to see where did holy folk get this stuff from why did we get i'll tell you it's because that's what everybody else is doing but what if the majority is wrong what if the downward road really is crowded a lot of the people you know are doing oh i know plenty folks i'm gonna tell you it's hard for my for my children uh because when they go to school they're the only ones that look like them and they feel bad and i don't want my kids growing up feeling like they're not a part of things so so i'm just i just i just don't want them to feel bad so i let them do it because i just don't want them to feel like an outcast the bible said we're supposed to be peculiar people we have to learn to teach our kids that they ain't better than you and you ain't better than him you're not different because you're fragile you're different because you're precious and you belong to god but look at them applying pressure parents can't stand up under depression now you letting your kids do some of everything i just don't want them feeling like they're outcasts what do you bring them to children in church no no i don't do all that did you bring them to sunday school no no i don't bring them do you bring them to this no don't do that did you let them participate in youth congress no don't let them do that and then every time we talk they ain't got nothing to do are they into your brother no no no all the names any joy no no no you know the problem your kids are so used to doing carnal stuff that spiritual things don't even cross their mind and i'll tell you why because we haven't made spirituality a priority that's why you let them play on their phone while i'm preaching you know what you're teaching them well they won't shut up they won't be quiet i just give them this to occupy their time oh they'll be quiet oh yeah god put shut up down on the inside of them it's in there you just got to know how to find it [Applause] and when they grow up and don't respect the word of god you doubt it to them they made us bring our bible to church they made us read our bible open your book where did he come from tonight you ain't gonna sit up in church and talk and send text messages and pictures across the church they don't have a spiritual appetite because you never told them it was important that's that carnal majority and now you let them miss church but won't let them mispractice i see that's a that's a whole nother sermon that's a whole nother sermon but i thought i'd just let them play i thought i'd do that how many practices have they missed oh they can't miss if they miss practice they can't start how many church services they don't missed now i figured i was still the pastor and i could i could say the stuff i'm saying let me let me go ahead and close it not yet few hear me fuel there be three of the scariest words in the whole bible you talk about something that terrifies me it's just a lot you want to know what terrifies the fact that out of all of these people going to church jesus said there's only a few and i started thinking before service tonight is is the precedent in the scriptures for for something like this and then i started thinking about elijah when he was on the mountain and he was he was one man against the 300 prophets of baal one man what if the majority is wrong everybody else is prophesying at jezebel's table everybody's saying one thing and one man heard god then then i thought about shadrach meshach and abednego when when when a whole nation and all the nations that they subdued everybody was down power before a statue and you just had three boys everybody else took a knee and look at these three boys standing by their conviction and they said even if we die behind this we won't betray him i don't care what the majority is doing i know better and to know better is to do better i'm not going to shrink so you feel comfortable around me i'm going to stand tall i'm going to stand bald and if it costs my life then i gave my life to him anyway i died a long time ago paul said i died and now it's no more you always saying but it's the christ that lit paul they gonna kill you we died a long time ago i'll tell you the one that stuck out in my mind in the book of genesis the bible said god looked down and he saw that the whole earth was filled with violence every thought every imagination of men's heart was only evil continually and god spoke to one man and said to him build me an ark this one man began to build he built for decades and decades and decades and decades and he built an ark and you know what the bible says at the end of that when jesus talks about as it was in the days of noah he said those people didn't know nothing until the rain came how in the world could this man be building a big old boat out in the middle of nowhere not even down there by the water he just in the middle no just a big old boat but they didn't know nothing why is it that they didn't know anything the bible tells you why because they were busy marrying and giving in marriage eating and drinking and being married they were so busy the whole world was of one consensus but one man heard god's voice and you know what people say to holiness folks y'all think y'all the only thing right listen stop stop arguing back at them folks you know who knows i ain't saying that but in noah's day i don't know i'm not responsible for nobody else i'm responsible for me i'm responsible for you one man heard god the rest of the world said he's a fool ain't nobody else doing that kind of stuff he's a fool one man but then when that rain started dropping the majority started running towards that ark and they started knocking on that door no we gonna die if you don't open this door but no it didn't shut it the bible said god said to noah that's enough get in this boat and when he got in there god shut that door and if noah didn't shut it no i couldn't open it everybody died but eight souls what if the majority is wrong what if all this stuff you said on tv is wrong what if all these fads that are blowing through the church world what if that stuff is wrong who's on the lord's side who's willing to stand even if you gotta stand by yourself who's willing to put your reputation on the line to stay true to god i ain't heard nobody yet who's willing to lose your job before you compromise your walk with christ i'm trying to figure out that i got at least anybody in here say listen before i violate my convictions i'll let them fire me and file for unemployment you always before i sit up here and give up my god to make folk feel better about being around me i'll dismiss everybody in my life and if i got to walk by myself it just makes it easier for me to get through that straight and that narrow way stand to your feet what if what if the majority is wrong can i tell you according to jesus the majority is wrong they were wrong in elijah's day they were wrong in babylon with the three hebrew boys they were wrong in noah's day and jesus said it's going to be just like that before the son of man comes wide is the gate broad is the way that leads to destruction you can follow the carnal majority and for preachers all over this country god is going to hold you accountable for how you led these people god is going to hold preachers accountable for steaming money over souls god is going to hold preachers accountable for preaching a field good gospel while people died and went to hell laughing because you were too cowardly to stand strong and tell people the truth judgment begins at the house of god and preaches you the first ones in the line the bible says we'll give an account of how we led people all of those that god gave us all of those souls that he he gave us to care for and to nurture the bible said we've got to present to god our deeds what are we going to tell god that we had a whole lot of movie stars at our church we had a whole lot of athletes at our church we had a whole lot of young people at our church but how many sons and daughters did you have at your church the world and the church has never walked hand in hand and if your hand is in the hand of the world then that's only proof that you are no longer in the church you have buildings but you're not a part of the church because the bible said when he comes he comes to present unto himself a glorious church without a spot wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish we're trying to redefine what holy is we hear it coming out of your mouth but that's not what we see holiness is a life it's a lifestyle oh no it's the way you live and and see all y'all talk about is this and all y'all talking about is the stepper and that i have said man looks at the outside that's all the man can see as you're outside i never looked at you and saw your kidney i never looked at you and saw your heart and your intent all i can see is your outside so you're outside or to testify to what's going on on the inside of you oh yeah i know what y'all mean by holy that means you got to look like this you got to do the job honey ain't what you got on it so what's in your heart you don't say it that's so long until now you've got men at your convention with dresses on we use that as an excuse hey what's going on it's what's in your heart so don't look at the outside no you don't mess around and say that so much now you got men carrying purses in the bend of the elbow and you can't tell them they can't come because you don't convince them it ain't what you got on let me shut up and go home and take a nap what if the majority is wrong they've been wrong at every turn the majority has never been right because this is a fallen world and satan is still the prince and the power of the air straight narrow only a few that's why i'm telling you i'm going to heaven and if you want to go you gonna mean business with god you gotta take off all of this carnality take off all of this foolishness and put you on the lord jesus christ and let's go to heaven every head bowed every eye closed maybe there's somebody maybe there's somebody here tonight that's not saved you don't know god in the pardon of your sins this is a good time for you to know him brother herman that shows sound like a lot it is that's why folk came to jesus and said lord let me follow you he said listen you need to know foxes have holes birds have nests but the son of man don't have a place we we need to follow you jesus can we follow you he said no listen you're just going back cause if you come after me there's a whole lot of stuff involved in this here jesus i want to come but but but my daddy just died let me go bury my daddy jesus said listen let the dead bury the dead it's time to do the work of the lord wait a minute but that's my daddy and this is the work of the lord you got to count up the cause that's why you get they don't cheapen him up to make people accept him no there's a whole lot involved in this and a lot of folks are going to look at how much it costs like you do them purses in that store girl look at that look at that look uh oh stop looking at that stop cause it costs more than you're willing to pay and people love god do they find out how much it costs to serve you then they figure out it costs more than they're willing to pay if there's another that's coming come come quickly if you're here hallelujah hallelujah if you're here come on [Applause] [Music] there there are some of our young people a man that's going back to school amen would you just just come so that we can pray for all of our young people that are going back to school just come you can you can spread out here come on come on there's so much going on now hallelujah amen if you have to stand in the house that's fine that's fine but we as a church we're going to pray for our young people come on come on that's it that's not a fact y'all can just come on come on up come on up come on up come on now come on up hallelujah y'all can come up i don't bite it i don't care if they told you i did they lied on me come on out man y'all come on up there's a lot of fun back there thank you thank you these are young people [Music] and we as a church we have to pray and cover them because we don't know we don't know what a day is going to bring but we know that god is able to cover and to protect them to lead them to guide them give them the wisdom to make the decisions and the choices that they need to make he's able to carry you through and i can pray for you but that's not a guarantee that's not an end-all you still have to make the choices that you know to make even if it's not popular god is counting on you too and when i pray and i pray for all these young people when i get on my knees i ask god to strengthen you to be the people that he's building you to be he needs you and the schools he needs you on college campuses to stand tall be bold and make a difference and if you stay with him he'll stay with you and i know this may be all you know church may be all some of you know but hear me he's going to make himself real to you this may be second nature to you but he's a personal god and he's going to make himself real to you he's not just your mother's god not just your father's god he's yours too lift your hands this way to our young people would you all of you parents let us pray father in the name of jesus christ we your people stand tonight and in the spirit we lay hands and touch each and every one of these our young people we pray god that you would keep your hand of protection around them keep them rooted god keep them grounded i pray that the blood of jesus christ would cover even them even right now father we don't know what tomorrow holds but we know that you are already there you're making a way you're opening doors and father tonight i pray for good success i pray you'll touch their hearts and their minds i pray that you'll give them strength and courage to stand and boldness to be the people you've called them to be i pray god that even as they go forward that you would take them by the handguard that you would lead them and guide them that you would instruct them i pray you'll touch their mind that you would open the eyes of their understanding found that there's so many new things that they've never seen that they've never even heard of and i'm praying now god that you would open their understanding that you would give them great success even academically and father i pray that you and keep their minds god even in the midst of this dark and this dismal world i pray for parents god i pray that you will touch them grant them patience lord i pray you'll give them what they need i pray you'll give them god the wisdom to help these young people strengthen parents god strengthen peace as the lord give them what they need for a successful year and we'll be very careful to give your name praise we give you glory and we give you the honor in the name of jesus come on somebody give god some praise hallelujah come on and give him praise thank god by young oh no no come on we're gonna give him praise for what he's getting ready to do in our young people hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah [Music] in the name of jesus hallelujah before you take your seat lift your hand take a moment and just thank god for the words that we heard tonight take a moment and just meditate on that hide it in your heart because somebody's going to be challenged somebody's going to have to make the decision to stand it's not an easy decision to make but somebody's got to make it somebody's got to have that kind of conviction that says i'll be that one if you need somebody now i know you do because you said you did i'll be that one i'll be that one that stands against the majority i'll be that one that stands against this carnal culture i'll be that one that'll stand on the word of god i know it's right i'm not looking for validation i know the word is right i have no mind to change what i know is right i'm compelled to admit the truth i'm compelled and convinced of error i know what's right and if we're the only ones that we know that are standing the way we are and we're not thank god but if it come down to it i need to know that i got at least a few people that's going to say we'll follow you as you follow christ are we going to be holy are we going to walk upright are we going to heaven then clap your hands and give him glory let's continue
