independence day anybody remember the day the lord saved you anybody remember today that lord brought you out how many know he's worthy of the praise put your hands together and give god some praise power god in the name of jesus lord somebody needs you on this morning god somebody needs to experience that spiritual independence on today god somebody needs to be set free oh god and we know that you're able god we ask you oh god that you would touch our leaders on this morning god that you have strengthened him oh lord to preach a word of deliverance o god to preach the word with power o god oh god speak to us oh god and we'll obey o god speak to us and we'll listen oh god for we need your word oh god to give us direction on this morning oh god and we come to lift you up and magnify your and saturday night at 7 pm also we are practicing social distancing and we do encourage the use of face masks we ask that you refrain from using the water fountains and please as we fellowship avoid health ministry celebrates freedom and fitness today and this weekend you do still have time we are asking that you get out for four miles or at least 40 minutes to celebrate the 4th of july you do still have time for this once again this could be a family walk jog run skate bike trail or anything you can do to be physically active for 40 minutes or four miles we've seen lots of pictures so far lot of stuff down here but that's just that's just wood and stubble and hay but only what you do for christ is going to last somebody ought to give him the best you can give him come on come on come amen to be able to serve him in a time when people don't have a mind amen to go all the way with god and i tell you amen when you wake up in the morning if you have a man to live holy you ought to lift your hands and thank god for that amen if you get up and you have a mind to want to go all the way with god amen you ought to praise god all day for mind because people now falling out of the race people now counting this not worth their time but i thank god that i have a i have a mind to go all of the way with god amen and i found out you just got to do it his way if you're going to go amen to his heaven you got to get there his way amen this week i i told him i just had to get away amen i didn't make it tuesday night amen thank god but listen you all heard some word in here tuesday night amen minister anik preached the word of god and i tell you the blessing of persecution i i watched that and it blessed me amen thank god but i had to go amen i felt the lord calling me the prayer the man so i had to go tuck away yeah i was telling the pastor last night you know people can tell you all day oh you're doing such a great job you oh man you're doing a great you better be concerned about what god got to say about what you're doing don't you listen to these people pumping you up amen amen i told them i had to go amen lay before god he had to correct some things in me and and and talk to me amen i don't want to listen to everybody else oh man everything is going fine i want to know from god amen what does it look like from your point of view amen i thank god amen amen god still holds us accountable i want to know lord what's working what am i wasting my time doing what what what what is what is this and and show me amen the way you want me to do this because i don't want to lean to my own understanding amen and think that i'm doing it right amen i need the instruction of god and you know we all need his instruction don't you listen to people amen telling you how good you are and all that you better go and lay before god and say to god show me in the pages of the word the direction you want me to go in i can't lead this church in the direction i wanted to go i ain't smart enough amen i want god to speak to me amen show me which way to go show me the things to do i don't want to just waste my time doing stuff that i think is sufficient amen god has to definitely that that ain't that ain't working that that's a waste amen focus on these areas this is what i want you to say this is how i want you to say it hey man this is not my church i'm just a pastor amen that god placed in this poor pit amen but it's got to be his words amen it can't be my words it can't be my understanding amen and i needed amen to make sure that i'm doing it god's way i don't want to get there and hear anything other than well done amen so amen and people say who holds the preacher accountable i tell you you'd rather me hold you accountable they didn't have to stand before god amen and me tell you what god is saying and i was there and i was asking god for direction lord what what what what do i say amen how do i order uh uh the people that you've given me to pastor what what do i do now now that you've brought us to this place and you've blessed us amen god has done so many great things for us people are are moving to dallas to join four gospel holy temple and i i think about that amen it's a great thing i look around and i see so many that have moved amen amen from other places from the from the west coast amen from washington amen you know the abraham and i i i think about all of those that have moved here think about all the people that come to join us in fellowship amen and i'll recognize our visitors a little later on in the service amen but i think about all of that they come here and but you know i don't want to get caught up in that amen i i don't i don't want to get caught up in that i don't i don't want to ever be guilty of preaching for a crowd amen and and and being so afraid that people gonna stop coming and visit us if i preach this and it can never be there amen it because holiness is still right amen and if people get offended with holiness and decide that they don't want to come visit us my responsibility is to build the people that god has given to me to build and i appreciate everything and everybody else i love our guest i love our friends amen but we got to stay true to who god has called us to be amen and i'm going to preach you the truth yes i am i'm going to preach it in season and out of season i'm gonna reprove i'm a rebuke but it's gonna be with long suffering amen and all doctrine because the time has come when people don't want to hear the truth of the word of god amen so that's my responsibility amen you know he told amos i ain't but i need you to tell me what you're looking at amos said i see a plumb line and a wall built by a plumb line every night then god's gonna measure us and show us where we are according to his plan and his will for us amen and my goal and my desire is to stay right there in the center of the will of god and that's how i can tell you he's a keeper amen because if your mind is to be kept in the center of his will that's where god will keep you and that's where my mind is amen i had to tell lord search me amen show me how i look in your eyes i don't want to hear all these people oh pal you're doing such a great thing lord i want to know what i look like to you i want to know that i'm still finding myself in the pages of this book amen and that's where god wants us to remain amen between these covers look at somebody and tell them neighbor there is a word from the lord and tell them that i am a lover of the word of god i love mine i brought mine you got yours come on hold this power up thank god hallelujah because everything else is going down but what everything but the word of our our god i want to start today i was considering this just a second ago and i think i want to call your attention to the book of first timothy amen the sixth chapter amen let's look at the 11th and the 12th verses and then i want to call your attention to hebrews chapter number 12 amen verses 2 and verse 3 and 4. it's first timothy 6 11 and 12 and then hebrews 12 2 3 and four and when you have it say amen the bible gives us this intelligence but thou o man of god flee these things and follow after god and follow after righteousness godliness faith love patience meekness fight the good fight of faith lay hold on eternal life whereunto thou art also called has professed a good profession before many witnesses fight the good fight of faith lay hold on it eternal life well until you've been called to fight you've been called to lay hard on eternal life i would also call and you have professed a good profession before many witnesses fight that good fight of faith look at what he says in hebrews 12 and 2 3 and 4 looking unto jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of god for consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself lest ye be weary and feigning your minds remember what he went through lest you be weary and feign in your mind the next time you say something like i can't take it no more then you remember what he went through endured such contradiction of sinners lest you be weary and faint in your minds and look at what he says in verse number four ye have not resisted unto blood striving against sin you fight the good fight of faith you've been called to fight you've been called to lay hold on eternal life don't tell me that you came because look unto jesus he is the author and the finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endureth the cross despising the shame and is sent down at the right hand of the throne of god for consider him remember him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself lest ye be weary and faint in your minds you have not resisted unto blood striving against sin you got it a whole lot better stop acting like you got it worse but he says you've been called to fight and to endure just look at somebody and ask him is there any fight left in you that's what i want to talk about i was i've been praying this weekend seemed like god just dropped that in my in my heart is that look at somebody else and just ask him is there any fight left in you we today of celebrating freedom from what we call tyrannical rule we want it to be free people people fought and they declared that they would walk in freedom and not behold and be beholden to that which oppressed us any further and people today are celebrating the fact of natural freedom but they have no idea that the real bondage is not natural true bondage is the bondage of the soul and you got a whole bunch of bound people celebrating freedom today and the problem with it is that they don't realize that they're bound none of them have no clue amen they're they're pound people and they have no clue that they need deliverance they have no clue amen that they need somebody amen to bring them out of what it is that they are in amen they're out there and they're celebrating the fact amen that they're not handcuffed amen they don't have amen uh obligations to foreign nations and amen we're a free nation and we enjoy all of these rights all of these privileges and they don't even realize amen that this world is really not our home you can celebrate amen freedom in america but one day you've got to die leave america and you better make sure that when you get to where you're really going there is a freedom amen that will benefit you over there they are oblivious to the fact that there is still a slaver amen that is constantly trying to bring a subject to the bondage which no man can undo by natural means there's still somebody trying to bring you amen back amen into that place of being bound again and i don't know about you but i'm grateful to god for the freedom that god has brought in my life and i never want to go back amen to that bondage ever again i never want to leave god i never want to go back amen and give the devil another chance to do what he didn't get to do the first time around i am celebrating freedom in christ amen uh amen we don't have fireworks and all of that to pop off in here amen but we came to celebrate a freedom in christ a freedom that we never ever want to forfeit we never ever want to give that luck and go back to where it is that god has brought us from as a matter of fact when you look at first peter 1 and 18 and 19 he says for as much as he know that he would not redeem with corruptable things as silver or gold amen from your vain conversation receive thy tradition from your fathers but rather with the precious blood of christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot what are you saying brother herman i'm telling you jesus christ came amen to free us and to give us an opportunity amen to experience real true freedom but it can only be found in him amen you're not going to find it on the outside of you amen you're going to find real freedom in christ jesus can i tell you amen there are people behind bars amen serving life sentences that are more free than a whole lot of folk walking around on the outside amen because they have jesus christ amen but there are people out here that still don't see the need or the necessity to serve the lord you've got a whole lot of people no you don't have handcuffs around your wrist hey man you don't have shackles around your ankle but you're still bound hey man you're bound by the tails of this life you're bound by the vices remember the enemy is using to try to ruin everything that god desires to do in you you're bound emotionally you're about mentally amen you're down spiritually and jesus came to set you free and there are a whole lot of people amen quiet as it's kept they're not even reaching out they're not calling out for deliverance amen because satan is so masterful that he hides bondage and pleasure y'all don't get quiet now and we think that we're living it we think that we're having fun we think that we're doing all that we can do and don't even realize that the only thing that we're enjoying is a season of pleasure that sooner or later is going to give away to a lifetime of regret and if we don't turn it around an eternity of separation and punishment i'm trying to tell you amen if you're gonna be free you've got to be free in christ jesus amen that's the only thing that makes sense amen to come out of your sin amen to leave sin alone and to embrace this new in this living way and when i say embrace it i don't mean some dry confession amen i don't mean something that you just say to god amen and then you forget what you said i'm talking about something amen that'll carry you for the rest of your life i'm talking about a freedom amen that can last you until god calls you home you know what the bible tells us he tells us if the psalm therefore would make you free that you are free and i wish i could find somebody to look at your neighbor and tell them maybe i'm free indeed i ain't no shackles holding me ain't no emotional shackles no natural shackles i know what freedom is all about i know what it meant to be bowed but the day jesus came in and broke the yoke of sin off of my life i understood what real freedom is all about now the son has set us free and when he saves him he saves you to go all the way somebody look at your name and just say all the way or tell somebody i'm going oh i'm going all the way with god amen i didn't get saved he meant to go back on my testimony and i hope you didn't either y'all don't get quiet look at somebody ask him is there any fight left in you amen i didn't get saved amen to let the devil come in and snatch me back out the devil is alive i got saved to go all the way with god and the good news is you don't have to backslide you don't have to walk away you don't have to let sin reign in your mortal body you got something you can do that's why the bible said you fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life and i come to talk to somebody today amen that's having problems holding on to god i come to tell you there's some moment inside of you that connects you to a power source that's greater than yourself and every time the devil tries to take you backwards and every time he tries to pull you back to where god delivers you further you think you got to go back just cause the devil wants you back the devil is alive look at somebody and tell them fight back or i know the devil's gonna hit you i know he's gonna tempt you i know he's trying to get you back but i come to tell somebody you've been called to fight [Applause] i wish i could find at least 39 of you that'll throw your head back and say fight back [Applause] god the problem is folk ain't got no more fight left in them people now walking away from god something is going on y'all can get quiet i'm a preacher to get through what we're seeing now is a generation that is counting this life is not worth it they have esteemed all the all the worldly pleasures as more desirable than to walk with god and these are people amen that are religious they go to somebody's church but they don't have it in them he meant to continue in their faithfulness to god amen this is what god is looking for he's looking for folk that want to go all the way with god and that's what i keep telling you amen people don't realize he meant how impossible it is when you don't depend on god listen this life is not even possible to live if you're not depending on god and that's why i tell you he's only a keeper for those that have a mind to be kept and lean on somebody tell them and i got a mind i got a man amen i have a mind i thank god for my mind i want to stay safe i want to stay in the church i want to go all the way i want to hear him say well done i want to be victorious i have a mind to go all the way with god but that's what it's going to take in this hour it's going to take somebody that has a mind to live a holy and if you've got a mind to live holy then god's got the power but you got to supply the wheel and i don't care what's going on in your life i don't care how the devil's trying to present every opportunity that he can for you to make that exit and to go back into bondage i come to speak straight to somebody and tell you you will not walk out you will not turn around because something in you is greater than he that is after you you've got to realize that with the holy ghost you can make it you can enter you can stay strong you can stay true look at somebody and tell them ain't going nowhere or you always i said look at somebody and tell them ain't going nowhere he put too much in me i've had too much prayer i've read too much scripture i've got too much word on the inside and i'm gonna find you got to fight just like men were willing to fight naturally that's what we celebrate men said i'm tired of being bound tired of paying these taxes i'm tired of this and i'm tired of that they were willing to pick up arms and fight and brothers and sisters our weapons are not carnal because our enemy is not fleshing boy y'all don't get quiet our enemy is not flesh and blood so our weapons are not carnal but that don't mean you can't fight we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but that don't mean that you can't fight oh god we gotta we gotta hold out a lot of fighting to do and the sad reality amen is that we're angry at each other we're angry at people amen and don't even realize why the devil got us stuck on stupid amen he's sitting over here amen wearing our people amen trying to destroy their lives amen we arguing over this arguing over that y'all don't got quiet you gotta go mad because you're baptized this way or you don't baptize that way because this one do this and that listen we ain't got time to fight each other amen there's a devil loose he's out there trying to wear us out and the moment that we turn around and stop trying to wear each other out we can put the devil on the road amen but the devil got us sitting up here arguing over stuff and looking at each other funny and i'm trying to tell you amen our weapons are not carnal because our enemy is not flesh and blood look at your neighbor and tell but the devil is alive it's time to get back to back and fight the devil out and i don't care what you got going on in your area you fight the devil in your house i'll fight him in mine look at y'all ain't so i wish i could get somebody look at your neighbor tell a neighbor back to back then if you take the devil to the west i'll take the ones to the east and we gonna get this thing devil is a devil trying to turn you back to where god brought you from this is why paul warned the church in galatia he said be not entangled again with that yoke of bondage god brought you out brought you out of dead religion boy y'all y'all can get quiet i'm a can can i preach to you brought you out of dead religion oh god that stuff didn't even matter it didn't matter at all amen but god brought you out of bad religion and he brought you over into a new and a living way and now there are people trying to draw you back into something that wasn't strong enough to deliver you in the first place because anytime you can sing up in the choir and everybody knows you got a crack addiction amen are you always saying nothing then they don't need you trying to go back there amen the devil's trying not to pull you back from a place of deliverance so you can go back to that yoke of bondage can i tell you amen if you can get it there you can't keep it there and that's the problem a whole lot of folk amen i think i went over there to get filled with the holy ghost but now this is my church why in the world would you be somewhere where they don't even teach you you can be filled out and now they gonna talk about you because you're speaking in tongues the devil is alive you better get out of that atmosphere amen and get somewhere where people believe in enough power to keep you holy god i ain't god god i wish i could talk like a feeling today you got folk amen that are just out for money and everything we talk about amen we talk about money god won't you bless god wants you a millionaire can i tell you everybody ain't gonna be a millionaire read it in 1st timothy 6 and 10. he said for the love of money is the root of all evil and for this cause of people i wanted to do any and everything that's when he comes back and says but thou o man of god flee all of that stuff look at the church done shut up on me he said you got to get away from all of that he said you've got to go out the righteousness god let this make this one again quiet over there how could i preach here and that's when he starts telling us amen we gotta fight the good fight of faith can i get a witness on this side that understands it's not all about that stuff preacher don't tell me how to get rich cause everybody ain't gonna get rich preach don't tell me how to be popular because jesus ain't popular preach don't tell me i don't make a whole lot of friends because they'll stab me in the back but preach tell me how to live holy tell me how to welcome right tell me how to please god teach me how to fight [Applause] teach me how to fight i don't want to know from the preacher just about running a successful business i want to know from the preacher how to be successfully saved because what would it profit me if i gained it all and then died and end up losing my soul somebody got to teach us how to stay true teach me what the bible said teach me about the kind of enemy i can expect to fight teach me how to walk up right y'all getting quiet here y'all ain't saying teach me how to wage a successful warfare because at the end of the day it don't matter what kind of accolades they write on your tombstone if when you stand before a holy god you don't hear him say well done you're gonna find that at the wrong time that only what you do for christ is going to last people now don't realize that when paul said in galatians don't be entangled again with the yoke of bondage that warning still applicable today um what are you saying he said look at somebody tell them don't get tangled up that's what he said don't you get tangled up stay free don't get tangled up but y'all don't get quiet don't don't don't don't get wrapped up don't get bound again because that stuff will trip you up all this clutter is tangling folk up that's why you got to get rid of some of this stuff out of your life because your life is cluttered and you about to get tangled y'all done got quiet some of this stuff you neglected you don't even realize how deadly and dangerous that stuff is you know for a long time i i always always think back to some of the stuff you know people used to say back in the day because they didn't understand you know you know when whenever when whenever it was thunder they tell you turn the tv off and i i've been trying to figure out what they got to do with thunder what they got to do with lightning i i used to think about that and you know i used to hear him say stuff like don't don't don't leave uh closed hangers on the floor you're gonna you you don't you're gonna you're gonna rip the hole in your foot that you go you're gonna you're gonna stab yourself in the foot you're leaving them clothes hangers in the floor like and all these years i never never seen nobody walking through the house and a clothes hanger just stabbed them in the foot all them old wives still but then last week i was steaming my clothes and i i took something off the hanger and the hanger fell on the floor and i didn't even bend down and pick it up i left it there while i was steaming my clothes and when i went to walk the hook of that hanger caught me in my foot and my mind immediately told me keep on asking dumb questions like this in that moment while that hangar had just ripped my foot my mind went back to oh now see y'all sitting there looking listen sometimes you don't even realize it's all the clutter and the stuff you neglect to pick up the stuff you neglect to get rid of god y'all ain't why he telling me that i ain't never seen it i understand all of that why they preach about this keep on talking crazy sooner or later you're gonna understand amen why the bible said come out from among them and be separate you got to clean up lord y'all getting quiet again on this side look at somebody tell them clean out your life oh god that's too much clutter amen some go trip you up you gotta make sure that you don't leave nothing around your feet that's gonna bind you and tangle you up you're trying to run this race you're trying to get to the finish line and the one thing you don't want to end up being it's entangled you don't want nothing tripping you while y'all getting quiet here i'm trying to tell you you better watch these entanglements it's still applicable to don't get tangled up people don't realize that the enemy will use whatever he can to tangle you up y'all want me to quit don't you people are now choosing to give in rather than hold on with everything they got they're going back to entanglement that going back to being tangled up again now the enemy can just say come here all right ain't got no choice i got to go back you got a choice you know what that choice is to fight can i say this sometimes we feel like it's a cake walk lord y'all don't want me to preach to y'all to die and i can see it by the way you're looking at me sometimes we don't we don't realize some of us have let things get too far out of hand you hire you should have rebuked that and walked back from that a long time ago and somebody here i came for you somebody here today have let things go way too far and now everything in you is pulling you toward this stuff everything in you is saying do it everything in you is saying you don't have a choice and and now you let it get so far until now you're wrestling not just with the devil you're wrestling with your own flesh because you don't let this stuff take root in your mind and now you don't thought about it long enough until it moved from being a thought and now you can feel it in your body how it's gonna feel and what it's gonna be like to do this stuff you done meditated on it until now your expectation is high and you're sitting there and you're wrestling and you're saying god i've done everything else but this and i don't want to do this can i tell you you can fight it or you can't fight it by yourself but i thank god that because you had a mind i got to come back to god i come to tell you god will cover you he'll protect you he'll bring you safely back to the whole time if you've got a mind to come back to god god will you always say i was listening to apostle mary preach yesterday and elderflower was while he was preaching he talked about a man in north korea who went close to the demilitarized zone and when he got there oh y'all ain't saying nothing he realized he didn't want to live in north korea anymore all he had to do was cross the dmv dmz he said and then all he would be in south korea he could make it to safety and he got the best of him he was too close to freedom and they said he took off running and the north koreans were trying to kill him because he was deserting the country because he was running away but he said when the americans and the south koreans saw what he was trying to do they pulled their guns out and they put up a fight because he made a run for it and that's what i come to tell you that that devil's trying to take you back he's trying to destroy you but i came to declare you today if you make a run for it the holy ghost will protect you if you say god i'm going to get saved tomorrow i come to tell you the holy ghost will protect you while you make a run for it if you're tired of sin and you want to be delivered look at somebody tell them make a run for it sin shall not have demanded over you he'll cover you hebrews y'all told me i could preach hebrews 10 and 38-39 says that if any man draw back my soul shall have no pleasure in him when you get saved he saves you to go all the way once you're on his side now you could go to hell without putting up a fight but you ain't getting to heaven once he saves you it's time to fight he says but if you draw back my soul shall have no pleasure in that man for we we are not of them petrol back unto perdition that word perdition means ruin that's what the devil's not telling you he's not telling you if you backslide you have nothing to look forward to you go back to ruin while y'all getting quiet yeah you you don't you don't backslide and do better you go back to ruin but he says we are not of them to draw back unto perdition or ruin but we are of them elder we are we believe this to the saving of our bodies so you have to value your soul over your your body but what about all this stuff your body is craving and crying out for what what what do you do with all of you your cravings and you know the fast food industry they must have made up that term craving because they really didn't want to call it what it was it's an addiction they put all this mess in this food and now your kids kicking and screaming if they can't go and get them nuggets y'all ain't saying and you're asking what about them nuggets make a child act up like this oh they tell you he just has a craving your child got into see i don't know why folk don't want me to tell the truth on that's an addiction what if we are those that believe to the savior of our soul that means our body has to be brought subject to the power of god i'm not i'm not lit you got to tell your body shut up stop talking to me i'm going all the way with god i want a drink you ain't getting nothing i'm going to heaven if it costs my life i want sex shut up i'm going all the way with god you got to tell yourself to shut up and not listen to your body because i'm not saved to the saving of my body i believe it to the saving of my soul so every day this body is perishing but my enemy has been renewed day by day okay look at somebody ask him is there any fight left in you look look at some body house and ask him is there is there any fight left in you cause you've been called you've been called to fight and i don't care if it take everything in you fight it you hear what i said i come to tell somebody that i don't care if it hurts you fight it i don't care amen how your flesh is crying out for it fight it y'all cause folk are giving in for a little of nothing now even people are not going all the way with god they're backsliding just because of temptation and urges and i come to tell you amen the devil is still the devil he's going to try but look at somebody and all you always say look at three people tell him fight it fight it fight it you got to fight it he's going to talk to your mind he's going to try to put his hands on your flesh he's going to try to mess with your emotions but i come to tell you fight it keep your mind stayed on the hill fight it and when the devil tell you you can't resist no more open your bible and read scripture and tell yourself no weapon from against me shall prosper i'm going to fight it you've got to tell yourself that they that walk in the spirit won't obey the lust of the flesh somebody save fire i came today to call somebody back from the edge you're teetering on the edge and the devil is telling you you've done everything else you look look where you are you already where you said you would never be again just jump just and somebody's trying to decide today quiet as it's kept yesterday you almost you just you came today you saying god i i told you i wasn't going nowhere i told you when you saved me i was going all the way with you and i've already done enough to go to hell for what i've done but that one thing that the devil's trying to get me to do that would guarantee i just haven't done that yet i come to tell you the bible has to have its roots i'll say that and the fact that people have been taught that faithfulness to god is recommended it's not required he's the god of eighth ninth and tenth chance so you don't have to worry about your faithfulness to god you don't have to take that seriously because he'll be there when you whenever you decide to come back he'll he'll be there whenever whenever you make up your mind don't worry about it he'll give you that eighth ninth and tenth chance again and so that's what people have been taught to believe now god don't expect you to be lawyer he lowered the expectation for you because he knows that you are but flesh and so you can dodge light and just come back to god in the morning and just tell him you know i i did some stuff and you know i ain't making the promise that i won't do it again i'm just saying i i wanted that and you and since that showed up i took that did what i needed to with it and now coming back to you since you will give me your 8th and 19th chance then i don't have to worry about being faithful why be faithful to god if you can enjoy the pleasures of seeing and already know up front just come back when you get done i'll sit here in the living room while you back there getting you some and and and when you get through just come on back out here and hold my hand and we'll walk back out together and so people have been taught you ain't got to be faithful why what man is going to say i don't want to do that if he can do that and i already know ain't no serious consequence for that just just go to have fun and when you get done he's the god of a fifth six seven eight nine ten chance so so he'll give you another chance you gotta be loyal to him just that's recommended what are they required and look at what we got now can i ask you this boy y'all look like y'all tired of me listen can i ask you the bible said when we sin we crucify him afresh even if and it ain't true but even if it was the case that he would automatically forgive you and that ain't the case but even if it were the case why not choose not to do it because of what it does to jesus you crucify him afresh every time you sin the bible says you put it to an open shame all over again and even if he automatically forgave you is that worth crucifying him all over again is there any fight left in you so you you're just going to give in this is how you're going to treat your salvation this is how you're going to deal with temptation you you're just going to give in you ain't got no fight left in you all this time you've been saved all that he's done in you and for you and through you and with you and to you and this is what you're gonna do with salvation you ain't got no no that idiot you have no fight left is that what you're telling me that you you can't hold on to god the temptation is so great that you you can't hold on to him sometimes it's okay for you to sin every day and have no remorse because somebody lied and but they still told you that this is grace and grace is passive and not hard like that on people anymore and now you come to the altar go back to your seat come back to the arch go back to your seat come back to the altar go back to your seat come back to the altar and go back to your seat then you come back to the altar and then you go right back to your seat the next time you come back to the altar you turn around you go back to your seat how many times you gonna do that so you have no more fight left in you there's nothing in you that says i got to stay true to god nothing he doesn't mean anything to you that would cause you to look at what the devil is offering you and look at what he's promising you and say this is the only way i can't lose and i don't care the devil grabbing my clothes and trying to pull me back out there i'm gonna fight it i'm not going you got some ppa ain't got to try to pull you out your clothes he just put a hook in but i'm gonna fight know what the bible says he says he that endureth to the end that's the one that's going to be said lord he just turned the page that's the one that's going to be it's gonna be saved and you know what else i think about i think about the fact that god is wooing me with his goodness it's the goodness of the lord that leads to repentance he said come to me all ye that labor and a heavy laden and i'll give you rest and then on this side the devil is saying but the pleasures of sin are so fun you can do this oh you gotta just think about it huh how much fun you're gonna have and now i'm being pulled from one side to the other and i'm like job the devil in god then had a conversation about me and the devil is saying god that man ain't he's not gonna stay that woman ain't gonna stay faithful out all the stuff you heal that woman's body and that woman ain't gonna do nothing but turn around and disappoint you all over again and when i think about how the devil is trying to use us as a bragging point against god why in the world would you backslide on god and then give the devil a chance to look at god and say hi i told you she didn't like you i told you that man he wasn't really with you i was right young people don't like you like you think they do why would you give the devil a talking point to life because that's what he does every time you backslide he lies and said ha ha i told you he crushed it into your face you would let him down like that you would let him down i think about this you would live here you would let him down he's counting on us to stay true and you you would let him down you would give the devil you would give the devil the opportunity to shake his fist in the face of god and say i told you they were never with you own word declared that they went out from among us because they weren't of us you got all them churches full of all of those people and none of them really like you that much you would do that to god after all of these years after every beat of your heart after every time you inhaled an exhale and didn't even think about it he was good to you he's counted every breath that you've breathed so far and after all of his after all of his goodness this this is what you do this is what you do and i think about this the bible says be thou faithful unto them that means even if your faithfulness to god causes your death be faithful i was reading i was talking about dr melanie smith this week we were talking on the way out of town i told him one thing she was always very very adamant about it was fox's book of martyrs and sister eben would always talk about fox's book of martyrs and i went and i started reading again a couple of days ago fox's book of martyrs the account of how christians have been persecuted for their witness and and and people lie all the time and say more people have been killed by religion than anything else ask them to prove it that's just the talking point they just lie they can't tell you they can't cite no statistics at all all i know is christians have been killed since the beginning emperors would line the streets with the bodies of christians and set them on fire so that they would be torches to light the way i started reading and i read about two women one pregnant that they threw in the ring and let an angry bull come in and and he got him and gored them just taking his horns and gorin these women and thought that they would die but even though they sustained severe injuries they didn't die and they just took them out and just cut their heads off then i thought about the woman they said was pregnant and they cut her open and took the baby out of her stomach because she wouldn't deny christ deny your savior or die and these people they they chose to die i think about uh people who were thrown to wild beasts we were reading it yesterday on the way back and he said they turned wild beast on a group of christians and even the beast had enough respect they said the wild beasts wouldn't even attack them but ungodly people got mad and wanted them to die anyway and took them and cut their heads off just just even the animals had respect to him but but the hatred of people because they didn't like our savior they killed them anyway then i read a story of a man named nikki maccus and a young lady named denisa nicomacus was told to renounce his faith and he said i won't do it they put him on a rack an instrument of torture that would take a rope tied around both your hands and around your ankles and then they would pull it and stretch you and pull your body apart and they stretched him and stretched him and stretched him and when he thought he couldn't take it anymore while he was being stretched they said he said all right all right i'll renounce him i'll renounce him to he's the pain he said i i renounce him when they let him off the rack and picked him up his body was so severely traumatized that he fell to the ground and died and denise who was 16 years old looked at what happened to him and she said oh unhappy rich why would you buy a moment's ease at the expense of a miserable eternity and when they saw that they could not get her to renounce her faith they took this 16 year old girl and chopped her head off they talk about people that were throwing the beast and and others who were crucified and set on fire while they were hanging they said there was one man that had so much faith in his god he started smiling because he knew soon i'd be in the presence of the king then i think about hebrews the 11th chapter see we we we talk about about faith and there was a time when when the church preached faith it was the faith for salvation the faith that would help you stay safe now when you hear people talk about faith it's the faith for cars and and and the faith for houses and when you when you look when you look at it it talks about how by faith women receive their dead back to life that that's a great great reward for faith seeing somebody raised from the dead they were healed that's a great reward for faith and but the bible said and others endured cruel mockings they were imprisoned they were tormented the bible said they were the bible said not only that but they were they were scourged they were stoned they were put to death but the faith is what they held on to so faith helped them to hold on to the faith it wasn't the cars and the houses and the blessings and the retirement and the vacations they were believing for they wanted to hold on to god that's what faith was for it was to hold on to god the bible said if you seek the first the kingdom the rest gonna be ahead you you don't you don't have to have to waste time seeking that stuff faith is to help you stay true to god and and if you'll do that and just like the bible said their reward was in heaven fight the good fight of faith lay hold only on eternal life you gotta understand what's what's at your disposal understand what this is all about understand you ain't got your word it's so that we can last is there any fight left in you are you just yielding to temptation because temptation is there or is there something in you that says i don't care what they offer doesn't matter to me if i got to fight myself if i don't trust myself to be alone now i call the saints up and surround myself with people but i'm gonna fight if i gotta change my whole phone and change my whole phone number i'm gonna fight have i got to drop out and risk people thinking i'm acting funny i'm not going back i'm going to fight this somebody today you're too close to the edge and if you don't fight satan is going to come in and he's going to make a victim out of you and i don't care today if you've already messed up you've already done enough to go to hell but you don't have to stay out there that's what the devil tells people you've already done enough you might as well go on and do the rest of you've already done this don't make sense not to do that too the bible said repent quickly stand to your feet i i can't preach no more i'm not begging nobody to come i'm just going to present this opportunity if today you can muster up the mind to make the decision to hold to him i want you to come with full understanding of what this choice means i don't care how bad it is i understand the choice i understand the choice and i don't want nobody to misunderstand me i know what calvary was all about i know that at calvary there was pain unimaginable and i'm not saying amen that is decision to die was worse than the weight of your sins i'm just stressing his personal choice to know what that was all about and still choose that that was waiting come on they're coming watch that woman they're coming come on come on come on let's still come
