day that the lord has made i will rejoice and be glad that everything that has breath if you're breathing on today you ought to give god praise if he woke you up this morning in your right mind you own god of praise we hold god of praise on this morning he's a good good father so many [Applause] let's get out of ourselves on today this is the house of the lord this is our father's house amen we got the right to worship in freedom and liberty when so many others have to hide their faith we can express signs and say this is the day that the lord has made we would show the world that we were rejoiced we are not a sad people but we are glad people in jesus name hallelujah come on and clap your hands as we go into prayer father we thank you god we bow before you god we reverence your power lord god we reverence your anointing lord god we reverence your spirit lord god we reverence your healing lord god you are god and god alone lord god father we ask our god that you will enter into this place holy spirit you are welcome in this place lord god father before we ask you for anything we thank you for everything god we thank you for all that you're doing in our lives lord god we thank you for healing lord god we thank you for ways made lord god we thank you for salvation lord god we thank you lord god for healing lord god lord always ask you to move in this place lord god have your way lord god touch every soul lord god let the sound of heaven be in this place on today lord god let the musicians play skillfully and under the anointing lord god let the songs be sung for you lord god let our praise be for you lord god this is your place lord god we humble ourselves before you lord god not by power not by might but by your spirit lord god we decrease on today no flesh is glorified on today lord god oh send the word lord god with power and authority change someone's life on today lord let the word go into the airways lord god those that are sick in their bed healing right now we declare lord god as they listen to the service lord god let they take up their bed and walk lord god father we ask that you touch our leaders lord god place a special anointing on them in these dark days lord god give them boldness lord god to declare the gospel of jesus christ we thank you that the gospel is being preached all over the world this morning lord god touch every pastor touch every leader touch every satan in this place of today father make this a bad day for the devil and a glorious day for your son jesus name amen and amen amen grab your bibles we're going to second timothy amen the first chapter of second timothy amen we're going to read the seventh through the 14th verse and like we do normally i'll read the first uh the seventh verse and we'll read the fourteenth together and we'll alternate in between again that's second timothy the first chapter starting at the seventh verse through the 14th amen do we have it for god hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind congregation who have saved us and called us with an holy calling not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in christ jesus before the world began congregation whereunto i am appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher of the gentiles congregation hold fast the form of sound words which thou has heard of me in faith and love which is in christ jesus altogether that good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the holy ghost which dwelleth in us come on and give god a praise for his word amen [Applause] good morning welcome to full gospel holy temple we're here our leaders our apostle herman murray jr and lady danielle murray um and we honor god for the legacy of our founding leaders apostle lobius murray and dr shirley murray join me in giving them a hand [Applause] at this time if it is your first time visiting us here at full gospel we are asking that you take a second to stand so that we can give you a warm full gospel welcome if this is your first time with us amen god bless you we are extremely excited to have you here with us today because we recognize that you could be anywhere else at this time but you chose to be here with us this morning to worship the lord and we're just grateful that you're here on behalf of our leaders we say thank you we welcome you and they always say that you may come as a friend but you will leave his family so we definitely pray that you come and join us again for the benefit of our guests service sunday morning service amen begins at 11am of course with the gates opening at 9 30 a.m sunday school is held in the main sanctuary only at 10 a.m sunday saturday and tuesday night services begin at 7 30 pm with the gates opening at 6 30. prayer service is held every tuesday and saturday night at 7 pm also we are practicing social distancing and we encourage the use of face masks we ask that you refrain from using our water fountains and also please avoid large gatherings how many know what's coming up i'm excited because we didn't get to do this last year homecoming 2021 is coming up amen i'm [Music] [Applause] excited and so as this is approaching our design team is working our awesome design team they're working to put together a beautiful souvenir book for us and as they do this we are asking that you please submit your fondest homecoming and dinner on the grounds memories and along with those memories we're asking you to share your powerful testimonies of how god has blessed you in the last year a lot of us have been blessed beyond words this year and so if you have those testimonies we're asking that you share them testimonies from new members who have gotten saved and or joined our church since the pending began we're asking that you submit all these things the pictures and the testimonies to design team at fght.org another exciting thing october is cancer survivor month and we want you to join us in celebrating god's miraculous healing power there are so many testimonies of god's healing power in this sanctuary and so throughout the entire month all fght survivors are asked to post your powerful testimonies on facebook using the fdht survivor month hashtag again that is fght survivor month and that's going to be hashtag on october 16th there will be a survivor walk once again please post those pictures and use the hashtag and then on october 31st that is going to be our survivor sunday everyone is asked to wear pink and this portion specifically pertains to dallas and garland members only one name will be pulled for each activity so one from the walk and one from the testimonies that are shared recipients will be announced on sunday october 31st again that's survivor sunday we want to make sure that you all know this is not a contest but it is just about giving god the glory for his healing power and so we do want to reward you guys for that but it's not a contest amen this is to all parents whose children attend children's church it is imperative that you meet with minister charlton lewis immediately following this morning's service briefly here in had not been for the lord that was on my side he ain't been that good to him he didn't bring him out of a horrible pitch he didn't establish their feet stop that music he hasn't made ways out of with the intent to come to praise him and i don't need you i don't need this road i don't need detection for when i think of the goodness of jesus and all he's done for me my soul prayer move your more i'm thinking for it the more i think about it the more i have my heart about thanking for it i look at somebody and say i remember i remember i remember i remember how he pulled my salvation hold wouldn't i believe though would be told to you testify tell about seven people you're looking at a survivor you're looking at a survivor that's why i praise him like i do that's why i holler like i do that's why i magnify like i do because he brought me up out of a horrible [Music] [Music] i may not have cancer but i'm a survivor tell them i may not have cancer but i must survive i made out of hand cancer but i'm a survivor what did you survive to the devil took his best shot [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] he took his best shot [Music] but nowhere performed against [Music] i'm sorry stop stop stop [Music] um [Music] i survived [Applause] y'all sit down sit down i'm sorry i apologize [Music] praise it praise and praise and praise his team praise him praise him praise and praise together amen brings you here to worship amen in person we certainly certainly appreciate you look at somebody and tell me but there is a word from the lord oh and tell them and i am a lover of the word of god amen i love mine i got my words you got yours come on hold that power up today thank god hallelujah because everything else is going down but why everything but what everything but the word of our god it is the word that strengthens and anchors us amen even in times like this amen you know we're we're in in the middle of some some stormy weather amen but the word of god is what anchors us amen when life tries to blow us over amen and when it tries to defeat us he man tries to put his foot on us the word of god is what's holding us together and i thank god for the benefit of his word the book of saint john's gospel the third chapter and i want to call your attention to that 16th verse you really amen if you went to sunday school two or three times amen you probably don't even need to look at it to quote it amen we we know amen saint john 3 and 16 amen they call this amen the hallmark scripture of the bible it all centers on saint john 3 and 16 a man it's powerful he man it's it's it's it's simple but profound i heard one theologian call it simply profound saint john 3 and 16 and when you have it say amen let's read that together for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life but that's that's strong now hey man it felt good coming out didn't it let's read that one more time come on let's go for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life and i listened amen i was reading this morning and i was uh studying this and one writer says that you can can emphasize any word in this scripture and it has a different meaning and i tried it this morning for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son but god so loved the world that he gave his only every time you look at it it's just profound because there's so much in 25 words and i think we we we are the people that should meditate on that because it is so profound that that jesus sums up amen god's purpose in calling him into this world in 25 words i was reading sometime they'll they'll ask men in 25 words or less tell us why your wife is the best wife in the world sometimes people struggle amen to be that concise it's not that they don't know but when you when you have to boil it down and say a whole lot in a little time some we fail at that but jesus expresses the fullness of the love of god in exactly 25 words and that's what i want to talk about i want to talk about the father's love just look at somebody and tell them the father's love nothing like the love of a of a father and i love this particular passage i was reading and and one writer talks about how that out of 25 words the center of the verse the 13th word that has 12 before it and 12 behind it is the word son this entire scripture hinges and pivots it is centered on the word son it is it's almost as if god is confirming to us in certain terms amen that only those that have made jesus the center of their lives will ever fully realize god's highest intention only those that have understood amen what it means to to truly serve god to give it to give him your whole life amen and that is through the sacrifice of the son of god hey but only those are the ones that are truly going to realize god's highest intentions for us you've got a lot of people that say i love god hey man you got a lot of people that come to church you got a lot of people hey man they'll sing in the choir they work they do a whole lot of stuff amen but jesus christ is not the center of their lives amen the center of their life is the church work that they do young and god quiet the center of their life amen is the accolade or the recognition amen from the thing that they do amen but it is not jesus christ and until jesus is at the center of your life you are wasting your time amen you don't even have amen the fullness of your existence because you're not living if he does not activate and animate your life and not only that but everything in your life must be centered on jesus christ because he is the one that proves the amazing love of the father and i'm beginning to think about it and i gotta hurry today amen i started to think about the fact of god's love amen the truth of the matter is amen the bible says that his love amen is indescribable there's no way we can adequately understand amen the love of god through our finite mind he meant god will blow our minds when we truly consider the fact of his love amen his love is a whole lot different from anything else we have experienced so until a person experiences the fullness of the love of god you really don't know what real love is all about and i feel bad for people he met walking through this world that really don't understand what real love is all about amen they've been so twisted and so misguided amen that now we really don't understand what god's love really means for people amen who are dealing with circumstances and situations and addictions and habits they don't realize amen that god loved him enough and that his love was not passive love but his love was activated amen when jesus christ came into this world he meant to die for your sins and mine hitting that wonderful to know that his love is so powerful that his love even desires to change your very life oh god some folk love you and it don't make your life no better amen but jesus christ came to express to us the fact of the love of god and his love is so powerful that his love is able to change us if we would believe on the hill and i know we're in the time now amen when love don't mean nothing anymore we were talking earlier this week amen and we were talking a friend of mine how that love really means nothing in this hour amen people have used and abused the word love amen i love ice cream i love this weather i love you y'all ain't got quiet and now amen love don't mean nothing more amen than having the appetite for something or amen thinking kindly about something but no that's not the love of god amen that's all of this other stuff going on i understand right now amen the greeks because you know they were some of the most profound people amen they wanted to adequately express themselves amen so i believe they had multiplied words amen for one word love we we love everything everything is just love i love that color i love that suit hey man i love your car i tell you i just love the way i feel i love you and now all of it seems as if it's all the same amen so the same love you love ice cream it's the same love you have for people amen we have so misunderstood love he meant because it hasn't been communicated properly but the greeks always amen wanted to make sure that there was no room for misunderstanding amen so they had words like eras and phileo amen the love of sensual love and amen the love of friends but then that was one love they call agape love and that is the love of god that's the love of the father it's a whole lot greater than anything else that anybody has ever known amen as a matter of fact when you talk about the love of god we talk about love in terms of emotion but can i say to you sons and daughters that god's love is not an emotional love for you god's love is a love based on intention amen god loves you purposefully and nobody makes god love you that's what oh god i appreciate about god because you've got some folk now amen you looked through your life and you've been so looked over he's been so abused and so pressed down amen that you feel like nobody loves you but can i tell you today the father loves you and he loves you real hard oh god i wish i could get somebody look at your neighbor and tell them the lord loves you i tell a man he loves you real hard you have absolutely no idea how much he loves you and that's why i come to tell somebody today you've got to lift up your head because we're in a point now when we're in a place where people are so starved for love her god they're running everywhere trying to find somebody to love him trying to find somebody amen to be kind trying to find somebody to give them attention but can i tell you you don't have to abuse yourself and you don't have to let other folk misuse you to understand what real love is all about all you've got to do is look at the father and understand that he loved you so much that he gave his only begotten son so that you could be different and that you could be changed and so you could be delivered that's the kind of love that really matters in the end and i thought about it earlier when you consider the love of god the one thing that you notice is that god did not love us back now he loved us first i look at somebody and tell them he loved us first he didn't have to love me back he didn't look at me because i was good to him then he chose to love me no amen i believe it's first john 4 and 10 says herein is love not that we loved him but that he loved us and sent us his son to be the propitiation for our sins and then when you look at that 19th verse it says we love him because he first loved us and that's what i come to tell somebody today i'm grateful that we have a god that didn't wait for us to qualify our god because if he hadn't waited for us to qualify we would still be messed up but i'm glad because i read over in romans y'all don't got quiet and i feel like i wanna i wanna talk to somebody when you look at romans the fifth chapter and the eighth verse the bible declares but god commended his love toward us and that while we were yet sinners christ died for us and i come to tell you you and you that it doesn't matter what you've done and it don't matter where you are the lord loves you and he loves you just like you but the amazing thing about his love is that his love always has the intention of changing you and making you what he would have you to be i come to tell you you don't have to get cleaned up before he loves you he loves you while you're dirty he loves you while you're nasty he loves y'all getting quiet while you're addicted he loves you while you're strung out he loves you while you're lying he loves you always saying nothing right where you are and i've come to declare to you that you can't do nothing so bad that you make god not love you he loves you while you're smoking dope you always say nothing here but he want to change you he loves you while that needle is in your home but he wants to change you he loves you while you're getting quiet while you're out there selling your body and turning tricks he loves you while you're in that homosexual relationship while you're with that alternative lifestyle he loves you but the good thing about the love of god is that if you let him love you all of that other stuff won't matter in the end i wish i could get somebody to look at your name and tell the neighbor that's the father's love i said look at somebody tell them that's the father's love and i read the bible and it said that wow we were still sinners it led good to know sons and daughters that god don't wait for us to get clean he don't wait for us to get ourselves together he loved us before we ever came to him and that's why i tell you you've got to look back and appreciate the fact that god loves you you've got to appreciate that while you were out there and you were doing all the stuff you did god was still loving on you and god knew that one day you were going to come to god that's the reason why he let the bullet fly over your head because god knew that one day you were coming to god and can i tell your sons and daughters i got to hurry and get out of here he didn't wait to start being good look at somebody and tell him it's the goodness of the lord that brought me to repentance he's been good to me he kept me and protected me when i didn't have the sense enough to know that the stuff i was doing was gonna damn my soul to hell he loved me and protected me until he brought me to that moment of clarity where i could give god my whole i'm trying to life out today is there anybody here that would throw back over the goodness of the lord and you saw that even before you came to god it was orchestrating the events of your life for some of you he had to put you in the hospital but that's why you found your moment of clarity he loved you enough that he had to break you down and that's what i appreciate about god he knows what it's going to take in order to get you to where you need to go raise no criminals and if i got to whip you to show you the right way then the end is going to justify the means and i i'm so glad that that's the kind of god i serve god will let you almost die it's gonna wake you up and snap you out of it gotta let the worst happen to you if it's gonna bring you to god but he's not doing it because he hates you he's allowing it because he loves him look at somebody and tell him he did it because he loves me it's the goodness of the lord that led me to repentance he's gonna let me die but look how good god is he kept you from diseases that you should have been dead he kept you from overdosing and killing your crazy self but god allows some things to happen to bring you to the place of knowing that everything else you're trying is only going to let you down i'm coming to tell somebody that when you get a hold of the love of god lord you haven't got quite over here let me try this side i said when you really get a hold of the love of god it will show you that everything else you tried was just a waste of your time you're smoking dope and you're sniffing coke you're drinking liquor oh god y'all ain't saying that you're sucking cigarettes but can i tell you that liquor will never love you back those drugs will never love you back he loves you and he loves your heart he loves you in a real way and you ain't got to sell your body just for love and attention you ain't got to go around just to get somebody to pay you he already knows you and he loves you right now instead of anybody jesus knows the truth about you and he said i'll stick by your side let the haters leave behind the glass and i found somebody that loves me for cannot survive disappointment some folks love to survive the room but look at god he saw you with that needle in your arm look at god but he still says come unto me give me a rest i heard and that's the way the love of god operates if you get a hold to the real thing only those cheap substitutes will lose their value your life you've got different people going different places trying to find love but if you get a hold to the right thing you'll never run after that stuff again that's the reason if any man be in christ he is a new creature all things passed away i'm tired of luke the 15th chapter started at the 11th verse the bible declares that a same man had two sons and the eldest son for his inheritance he takes his money and goes into a far country and while he's there he wasted substance with a riotous living and the bible said he joined himself to a citizen of that country he started to realize that ain't no honor on the streets you loving stuff that don't love you and i'm trying to tell somebody the devil is lying to you he's just playing the road but he's gonna turn on you after a while when this young man begin to be at war the pattern of the bible says that he went into the hog pin and he almost filled his belly with the husk that the swine did he got he almost started eating slap and i come to talk to somebody you thought you could go out there you thought you could play around you thought you could manage sin and look at you now you're almost doing a whole lot of stuff you almost did the stuff you said you never do and while you're telling everybody the stuff you didn't do you ain't telling folks what you almost did but just before he put that slap in i almost did a whole but i changed my you know what is this story was never about a boy that backslid it was always about a certain man that had two sons this story emphasizes the love of the father that disappointment just as i was is there anybody here tell the world about it let it stir your soul you can bring in your broken heart you can bring him your issues you can bring him your circumstance you can bring him your habits you can bring him your addictions you can bring him your broken mind and i come to tell him that he loves you so much that when he wraps his arm around him he'll squeeze you so tight until he bits your broken pieces look at your name he wants to love you right and if you get that's why i'm still here because i'll never find nobody that can love me like he can and if of this stuff ain't nothing but animal carnal passions that's not love a lot of this stuff ain't nothing but lust that ain't love a bunch of selfish desires god ain't love and then when it don't turn out right now you misunderstand real love and i'm done with love you ain't started with love that wasn't love that was a bunch of mess that the devil pushed on you but herein is love [Music] not that you love him but that he loved you and sent his son that's what love is all about the fact that he sent his son to die on the cross for you you want to know the bible says greater love you ain't gonna find a love like this no way have no man done this had a man would lay down his life for his friend that's what love is all about this selfish stuff people are trying to push on you that has nothing to do with love ain't got nothing to do with love because people are only in it for what they can get out of you but can i tell you god loves you and he don't want nothing but you people now so twisted so skeptical you can't hardly spend no time with people now before they try to get all they can out of you because their past experiences have taught them they can put their hand in your pocket before they get it on your heart and they have to get everything they can now because you ain't gonna be around too long but when it comes to the love of god god will stick by your side the
