Drinking Coca Cola Clear for the First time! [Ft. Abroad in Japan]

and I was like I sort of look today my own oh wait what's that hey guys we're gonna take your creative play I'm your host Emma and today I'm here with my friend Chris friend friend my best assumption that is yeah right maybe we're friends and I'm gonna cut you off we work well as a team today we're drinking water or so it would seem there's actually a trend in Japan especially at the moment of clear drinks of drinks that aren't really meant to be clear yes the most popular one here is no doubt Coca Cola clear I remember I was walking through this seed market last week so dramatic I was going to buy some chicken and I saw like a wall of coca-cola clear and I was like I saw a look today I went oh wait what's that I was really confused cuz you've got the coca-cola brown which you typically associate with this kind of dark brown black substance that ruins your teeth and it just it seemed like a bit of an anomaly but there was a glitch and the matrix I thought something was wrong but no it's coca-cola clear and today really carbonated as well yeah the other side don't think of carbonated I think it started with morning tea yes so I do I do I don't really know how the trend started but the trend is clear drinks so we've got tea and latte and cokes have you tried it I gotta admit I have tried the coke but I'll save my opinions til the end you didn't never said that I never lie I always tell the truth okay all right shall we start from left to right and yes see how they taste give our opinions it's got milk in it apparently I don't understand how clear drinking of milk in it I do not get the science yes is clear espresso and milk but it also says no caffeine no calories or light calories and no no fat so basically and might as well just put some water this is literally nothing in it of value why would you even drink it I mean unless the flavor is groundbreaking we good let's just have a taste and see if it does taste like the real deal no caffeine coffee no it smells like coffee does not exactly like coffee it's very watered-down it tastes like sweetened water infused with a hint of yeah but we're actually quite like I don't mind it actually what would you give this well scale of one to ten it's not bad actually I really didn't want to like this yeah it actually isn't too much drink about one me drinkable drinkable brandy I'll actually give it six that's pretty solid I'd give it would I be copying you if I gave it a six as well yeah look at five point nine five point nine for me just so I'm not copying Chris it's kind of thirst-quenching drink it's basically water mortar flavored coffee would you buy it again though I I drink about three or four cups of coffee a day that's why they never sleep that's why I have insomnia that's why I feel like crap right down but like what's the point you drink coffee to destroy yourselves exactly wouldn't have it any other way onto the premium morning tea any morning tea unlike regular morning tea yeah I don't know what the difference is between regular and premium morning tea but there is a little blue bear with a lemon on his head wait where on the bowl so maybe that's the defining factor that makes it premium morning tea never seen the bear oh look at him he's a bear he's not only a bear but he's mildly happy about the situation of the lemon on it it's got premium morning tea if I was a bear with a lemon on my head I don't think a smile was the first thing I would do oh no his name's misery misery it was a three month music come on Oh what up too bad water bad water bear what's it's very lemony lemon there seems to be a theme with lemons I can see a lemon here on busy bear's face and we can see a lemon here on the coat coat of clear if something doesn't have lots of flavor yeah that's a little stronger than the latte somebody's tip-top bucket of sugar into this there's barely any tea in there huh Bailey oh I wanna roll you really are unbearable oh my god you're with me here Jackie we're in hell together mmm I can't taste the tape I find it in just really lemonade tastes like water with buckets of sugar in selling point of this just says lemon tea if I could sum this tea up in one word that word would be disappointment look four out of ten No three out of ten why am I being so generous miss a bear a bear a bear related pop I kind of refer it to the Lotte honestly I like sweet things and it's got a bit more flavor to it I'll give it a six point one above their thickness now on to the star of the show coca-cola clear maybe I supposed to American booze this might not be such a interesting thing because in America no Pepsi player is it perhaps a clear Pepsi Pepsi crystal right Pepsi crystal ha I know American culture living live in the future we live in the future and this is the future it looks incredibly carbonated it looks like a cup comprised mostly of it's 10:30 at night I can't expect you to think up bold innovative lines wait have a sniff that's carbonated smells of carbonation combination combination alone it's quietly comments below is carbonation alone here is history of you so you know when you go to a party yeah there's like balls of coke everywhere which you mix with stuff it's like you pulled me about a cup of code and left on the table and then I was off doing something that was out all night you sort wake up at the party and you going off like that my leftover coke from the night before I hate it a lot in experience but it's very sweetness is artificial to me totally taste artificial those tastes ridiculous the artificial it tastes like them sprite meets ginger oh yeah voice breaks a hint of lemon lots and lots of bubbles and that is kooky clear I don't mind coke I've had it quite a few times in my life just hope you know this is really different to normal coke to me and just the artificial sweeteners just make it taste so chemically Smith that I just can't deal with it the price that comes with zero well it does have one percent fruit juice one percent got point 10.1 percent is that even any point in turning on their legally required to do that probably that's not a statistic worth bragging about I'm giving that a to I can't see people buying this more than once outside I'll be amazing it lasts longer than six months yeah it's just a fad I mean Japan has a lot of fads yeah I mean for me like when I think gives unique Japanese products you're thinking McDonald's and KFC where people in Japan new KFC for Christmas given a lack of turkeys and the McDonald's always have a kind of unique items like the mega Big Macs where it's like a Big Mac from one I don't know how anybody could actually that and still live to tell the tale so I'd give this five out of ten five five because it is drinkable since I've been sipping this I'm actually starting to like it quite openly of where me I don't like Coke Zero or Diet Coke it has to be the sugar normal one I don't understand how something is zero calories one percent lemon lemon is of calories but we don't have the final say on these drinks we do have a drink tasting taste testing likes to start that bit but we're not gonna have the final say on these drinks we do have a beverage expert he's somebody who drinks things every day and he's now gonna test them and taste them and see which one is the best and Raven one scallop one to talk in a way that we never could bring him on coca-cola sprite whatever then book really say a lot veremos in Korean - OH - Tom oh I have a many cut
