Foreign YouTubers Taste Test Japanese Restaurant Kids Meals For The First Time [Ft. Abroad in Japan]

hey Chris how you doing Wow hey guys welcome to Tokyo creative play I'm your host Emma and today I'm here with Chris today we're gonna be trying kids sets from various Japanese family restaurants oh wow yeah cuz we are big children full disclosure we just filmed the McDonald's video like half an hour ago so we are quite full we are a lit fall for this video just be made like being sick of it that's all right okay so the first thing we're gonna be eating is Coco Curry's kids set usually as adults you can customize your own curry order to make it really exactly what you want spiciness yeah well on a scale of 1 to thoroughly underwhelmed I really where is the curry yeah there's like well I guess it's light it's pretty great in there yeah a little splash of curry sauce looks like there's nothing tiniest of known oh it feels like a rock so you can literally kill some of this what's these little things that we got a desert jelly so you get your desert in a little capsule you only get you normally get like milk it right coffee how could they mess it up it's like plastics drum is in salt there's literally one shred of beef in this so this is this is what children eat when they going to carry she's a living titanium it's kind of stale honestly kids this is really negative normally I actually love Coco curry it's just the kids version is dreadful yeah the apple juice is good yeah this one is from Jonathan's which is just a casual family restaurant they sell a huge amount of typically specialize in burgers and neat there's like a family cafe found the restaurant yeah anything one of my favorite family restaurants all right nice and we've got a little box here a lunch box filled with three onigiri style rice balls some potato wedges liquid leaking out of this sausage Samrat plate and a bit of chicken with what looks to be mayonnaise sausage okay oh it's a little bit wet just like I like my sausage tastes like a sausage like a cold japanese-style tiny sausage I know Japanese sausages are very different than western saws it is and now it's time for the fried chicken the only bit that actually looks really good hmm sorry I think you like this definitely yeah mmm it's got a bit of appeal to it yeah it's cute it's got the little flag that's like so Johnathan's good jobs on offense yeah better but not but I mean it's not like amazing but I can be proud of this job so this one is from gusto and there's a little bit more effort put into it definitely I can consider it from the start yeah bit of plastic here with what appears to be three jelly three jelly sweets grape orange and cherry the best of all and it's fabulous oh my god why don't you dance mr. diamond the infamous Japanese character color so you can color a mister anpanman's face have got fries some sort of fried thing here that could or could not be chicken peas rice ball and time we've got different ones yeah but different I've got a Hamburg steak some fries some beans and some rice kids actually this always chips oh they look so how are they soggy so put another curry here a little bowl of rice let's try that because it'll definitely be good what's our horrible it doesn't taste of characters taste it has a texture of power in the taste of Shh by the kid I wouldn't let them anywhere near this or any of the last few dishes we've had this is okay nice all right let's try the orange jelly I am silicon top through the previous what the previous journey there for grape jelly as well yeah better that's still pretty crowd no okay because the all the stuff I've eaten from restaurants that do okay yeah yeah it's just like for kids it's a write-off for them yeah I just feel like it's less time for the kids no don't worry about it just piss crap in a box Cal Ripken job done in it thanks next alright the last one we have is from Denny's well in America is just breakfast I think but in Japan it's all times of the day and not really breakfast food it must be good then yeah let's go do this with a positive attitude let's do it bring it yeah there appears to be a theme with children's food in Japan guys it all needs to have jelly yeah I guess Carlton's reporting kids need that sugar fix at the end and this time we have a fun toy toy finally yeah that's good so if it's got something a little bit nostalgic for me looks like these have his face cut off it's like bleep a little potato smells a little piece of omelette a Hamburg State with something on it piece broccoli and some rice it's one of those one of the better presented yeah actually yeah I think so do you feel the burst of nostalgia in your mouth I wanted to read nostalgia I wanted to be nostalgic it's very watery for a very soggy steak it's better than the last one hmm okay okay well I think it's the best so far yeah Danny's children's food is the best of the law well they were adorable Bennett and what you get a lot of Boston I give this a 5 out of 10 yeah all the others have been like two basically if you bring your children to Japan make a picnic or take them to somewhere that's none of the restaurants we featured in this video if you want to see what kind of options there are the
