Can you BEAT Breath of the Wild using ONLY Royal Guard Gear??

the castle was overtaken a century ago by the calamity and has become the grounds for 70 major enemies between lionel's moblins turrets skywatchers and of course ganon himself the king's royal guard had once failed to protect the castle but serving as this head knight is it possible to re-avenge a calamity by only donating the royal guard armor and weapons to clear this crisis for good the rules for the run are simple one take down the four divine beasts that harbor ganon's blights two only royal guard armor and weapons are allowed to use three the champion abilities are to be disabled four force mandatory items are okay to use when required and five the entire castle must be wiped out all 70 enemies in one go yeah it's going to be quite the challenge to pick up on even if these weapons are some of the heaviest hitters in the game there are also some of the heaviest breakers too usually only lasting around a dozen hits or so it'll be frequent to remember to stock up and manage your weapons very carefully so we'll always be prepared for what's up ahead but without further ado we will need to start by charging the castle with our first raid to done the needed tools of the royal guard and i really hope you all enjoyed this run of breath of the wild all right this is the castle that is very menacing right now uh we want to be a true member of the royal guard this is where we'll have to be in guardians okay uh first threat avoid come on horsey okay good there's shock arrows these are gonna be very important for uh disarming some of the royal guard uh enemies so that'll be the most helpful i prefer the stealthy route to actually take back some more weapons right away very stillly uh i just hide behind the ore juke good good east passage let's get all this looting done uh because there's gonna be a lot of stuff that's helpful yep okay hardy radish more importantly there's something very good right there it's dark but uh world guard sword 48 damage she can made replica of the master sword it's gonna be brittle but very powerful if only i could uh light that fire so i can cook that hearty radish what is fireable oh wait a second uh flight that yeah there we go perfect that literally is like excellent kindling there cook up these radishes there we go we got a few more from the stable that was a little south of the the castle let's do that nice nice [Music] five boom i think this is where we need to go that doesn't look uh very good for us oh okay it's dangerous the exit oh oh no no no no no no oh crap i thought we were fine that chest will be handy though a fake shard okay you can use that for cooking or something you don't hear me do you nah not now oh no crap you just tail with the bomb okay stun him go he's got a spear drop the bomb good i think we got him we got to use our wits to survive oh nope wasn't very witty of us okay nice but can't use up this weapon just for one guy okay bookshelf no could use the tools of the library nope okay be careful whisk away chest nice that's the gold rupee okay you're gonna be hitting our shield but the shields are pretty tanky actually bomb perry no we messed up the bomb parry oh crap ah that's not a good start that that was me being absolutely rusty gotta get out of here it's too dangerous in the library don't spit no sidestep okay just like that go around stamina potion that came in clutch oh not for him oh sidestep right as he fires it and we're safe this guy is going to be punishing just like that she's going to try whipping and are doing something right nope does he see me no ah sneak strike yes okay good oh this weapon's too overpowered yep get him just like that oh one more very tricky for us not anymore he's dead man that was good and yep you would use those bomb arrows against me here take a bomb again [Music] now you tried whacking it get out get out good oh no just him careful be very careful this room's important though because just right there oh not the soldier's bow something a bit better the shield yes drop the bow but also hey what are you doing just trying to guard the weapons i see what i want though i'm taking uh this thing right here real guards but with a rock to my face but there it is piece of ranged weaponry we can get out of here good go go this room down here there it is look at that another royal guard sword yeah and a nice chest for us this is gonna be our first piece of the set the world guards uniform yes i'm waiting for this let's put this on look at that wow we're looking very high class and the weapons go actually really nicely with that yeah you're scared aren't you maybe not okay would have been close goodbye listel we already have half of the world guard weapons we can get because we have two swords two shields and a bow there's two of everything so it's ten weapons get all this uh loose that's actually very nice for us they come outside that can be good stun them for a bit yep good we need that extra time in here that's our spear yes we got it spear of justice 32 damage nice all right so we're in this giant maze and uh we'll have to go to the other wing of the castle now we will face revenge though get past them good the stones are too helpful oh that could have been dangerous there it is the observation and ancient arrows okay these are gonna be super important grabs for later we gotta take donald's uh guardian skywatchers somehow uh oh we fell oh not good not good all right well this is the way now don't die anything funny oh crap there's a lot uh guardian good okay get out of my way let's let ourselves in come on you're an awful shot good another hidden room anything good in this there actually is besides the chest of course boom the korok we're going to need a lot of these but more engineers too okay good the guards chamber i see a few things here actually you guys like bombs i think they do okay no need to cause a whole scene i just need that chest up there there we go take it okay back away back away good yes we got it stubborn toe again i don't care but we'll get the boots so no more of that oh yes everything but the hat now we're looking complete almost [Music] gonna be quite the shock to you i think but uh we're taking probably our favorite possession there 72 okay that is the last of us we got the claymore the spear the sword the bow and the shield that's so good button time pulls it on it good can get out we're missing the hat oh one of the bows a claymore and a spear let's get these last four things nope okay good enough the tree cover is good oh wait no it's not it's pretty bad actually uh my tree sorry oh sh at the back by the docks now i do know about this chest right here because you can open up for a nice diamond so 500 rupees and quickly get out of this rock here not suspicious at all for korok [Music] need more slots for later oh i didn't know it was that close actually first i definitely see the importance of getting the shrine here easy war points by easy i mean it's still gonna be hard to get past everything like very hard stay away from the water stay away from the shots good take care of the bats gotta light the arrow and get the big torch boom perfect it's a major test of strength which is uh it's gonna be a major no for now for that um and uh these crates very handy actually see that attack food give me give me give me not you again guardian this tree is better cover though aha uh oh oh boy there we go no distraction just death here's the back of the lockup i almost forgot that you can get in from the back strong enemies but uh there's a better prisoner we gotta find i don't think we need to waste an error on this bomb wait i think that actually works kind of well nice boom protect this bow durability allows us to get out of this nice thing right here just laying there stop good oh bomb perry and get rid of the wall okay good shield was very handy and look at that the spear of my liking walk straight i'm not missing an arrow you're not worth wasting two arrows on oh he's mad stay mad maybe again yeah skill issue oh yeah skill issue literally and uh just a switch nice we got the wind tunnel there's a guard in the room i'll give you a present first just a dolly out of the way then i'll take what's in here for another dragon part nice look how jumpy is there's a wall in the way do you understand matter and physics you clearly don't i will take on this very convenient updraft because uh don't start the physics in quickly go up the staircase get our last weapon here it'll be the bow hi here we go this is a safe word and taking that staircase that's conveniently guarded by him oh he saw me anyways nice you just chill out for a second okay not ready to face you yet wasted quite a few bow shots but uh look at that on the wall he's slow with that weapon we have time to do this maybe we don't oh good we're on different playing fields there big slam down come on nope distracted get the bow yes our second bow get the arrows and get out i would stealth kill you if there was a point but you don't have anything of value really because what was of value we have already obtained we gotta yeah all really good stuff but uh we'll have to keep coming back after the blood moons to get even more all right we gotta make on top of there for the hats and some other stuff hi skywatcher it's gonna be very hard to pull this off it's leggy but uh possible nice actually very nice okay good it's possible to ride the skywatcher no you just kind of slide off when i remember oh no but this is where we kind of need to be though nice conveniently placed chest nothing else in our real guard cap there it is that looks super fancy with this okay let's put it on ah we're already complete in the look of all the royal guard weapons it's really the color vibrancy of the outfit mixed with just like the simplicity and darkness of this gear like it's awesome nice thing about having the sec gear is that uh takes up less stamina while hopping it's a nice hidden uh step bonus here we are nice chest five ancient arrows this is the biggest inch narrow chest in the whole castle in the world too keep going up yeah there we go that stamina is barely draining it's just so effective basically climbing the air but fancier more realistic that's not a word uh yeah just at the top get the korok boom there we go as you see in the distance there's literally death mountain right there which uh would also make for a pretty nice next objective we gotta do the divine beast now and uh death mountain i think we're ready we'll see how far we can get with just our selection and we'll come back after the next blood moon goodbye castle just like that nice to death mountain we go come on i think we're in found all the castle things without even trying a diamond yes 500 uh sell the rubies hey the legendary weapon sure i've heard of it master torch i'm sorry that's not a drill shaft to me if it's not a drill chef it's not legendary it was a nice peaceful ride over nice after all that castle mania but we're gonna have to rip through some things pretty soon here's the broomstick girl uh we need a couple potions we'll just take three we have the money more than enough there's perks of being royalty or at least perks are serving them money keep going all the fire enemies guardian we're doing away from your home castle take a side flank that's actually helpful there's an arrow in that guardian's eye there's one for highlands you think i'm gonna attack you really i'm really not i was just using this as a launch platform it's not worth there we go just like that okay we're cooking pot we should get a nice 13 minute level two so that's good for one and then four out two same just but uh i forgot how much time uh just the fang ads i mean we have them uh sorry nadra oh let's get us resetting we'll see them all do a fan that's fine because we still got pretty close to like 25 minutes around there so we're fine ah there's the lizard and the rocks oh no crap wait how fatal is this gonna be i don't know we're dodging them oh that's very fatal that's a one shot we're just trying to forgot about that because some things don't i generally didn't know for that so we know now our durability is fickle i don't like having to do this good and then just make it over nope one more gotta be careful [Music] okay blue flame light it up good i like how fast the arrows fly though the royal guard bow does that and it's a really nice hidden cork let me in let me the jump these free streams are perfect i love this there we go oh wow what do you guys have to suck so bad get rid of them not even that guy you just spun around a bunch ignore and go about it oh there's a lot of them built up and crap we still need the spawner dead one more arrow for that nice okay well it's gonna be fire blight first divine beast uh this is actually my first time starting with a fire blight in rodania so pretty interesting but it'll be nice because he'll be the least scaled only 800 hp so shouldn't be a bad fight watch out for the sword i'll knock you down first i think you have to watch out for my swords actually practice here spin attack action shouldn't be too bad oh spicy damage again nope come on close yes wow more than halfway oh just a couple spin attacks yeah that literally melts them this is insane make sure he has almost no time to regen though just like that and instantly suck it up take him down and uh another spin to win the royal spin it takes up like no stamina too come on yes instantly wow he was no match no attack up or anything that's just raw royal power like i love that sorry world guard power you're telling me we could do that but the royal guard couldn't even protect the king 100 years ago what's with that all right before we start our next divine beast though uh yeah undyne i have a little treat for you you look pretty nice right now you mostly fed up the aesthetic but uh there's something we can do to really help with that involves using the uh traveler link amiibo so let's just scan this in right there that's not going to be quite it uh let's do a reset pop come on give it to me yes the chest finally oh my god it's here oh double chest that is it traveler saddle yes traveler's brittle it's just a nice clean look for this like i really wanted it the brittle there we go that's gonna look cool but the saddle though looks pretty colorful but that that looks so good with them well my look that's really something now my aesthetic feels complete our weapons are you know have seen better days so we do have to wait for another blood moon to get more weapons uh from the castle but in the meantime we can do another divine beast and uh the boris is the least bow heavy because we'll probably use bows a lot more for the other ones and we don't really have uh bows to spare so plus i think it'll be really good to fight off thunder blights uh second here so you don't just have as much health as you would later i think this is where we depart undyne yeah i don't have my royal steed to help me here but maybe we'll find a royal seal uh i know we can't borrow patricia but uh that would be really nice we have a lot of money and there's a lot of good stuff to spend it on here um bundles of 10 shock arrows 30 of them that's gonna be really good when we go back to the castle stancil train choo choo whoosh part ways goodbye open bonk seal sorry all right let's get past the guards we'll be okay banana toss very easy to get around now so a lot better than like a bomb or something he has bananas on his mind all the time the banana room all this attack food just going to be so good a banana of the earth pretty much because yellow come on look at the chest yeah it's another topaz another one wow what are the odds is that the point or something is it goofing me topaz is the banana of gems yeah yeah yeah use bombs whenever i can [Music] matters is a battle of power we can each kill each other very fast it's gonna be a matter of who hits who first though that's gonna really determine the fight all right thunderblade oh not the shock three minutes that's that's five shots we gotta use up with this very powerful bow uh i wonder if there's a way around this i mean we do have bombs is it possible though it's possible with bombs wait finding uh pretty cunning ways to do that sufficiently there you go never had to worry about durability so much in the run but uh hey guys it's croton do you ever get durability anxiety in open world games luckily we have a solution drop bombs all the time isn't that great gonna keep going this is gonna be harder because the regen is counteracting over progress just like that oh look at that it's going up and down and up and down and up and down yes we did it okay that was worth saving uh two bow shots this is peak gameplay no totally oh no wait okay uh don't do that though if they're upgraded bombs this will be a lot faster and we did it nice just keep going this is the last one get them yes we did it all four cannons no arrows wasted chuck it no it's not up high enough wait now we go this way to be a parrot there we go nice using the tail to affect it we got it good just like that get over oh no wait we missed our q uh my link that was i wonder how we can do this just like that not that's why they all died including the king so i think we should be ready for this boss he's going to have a 1600 hp a nice quick attack buff be able to use that hold her bow with bomb arrows um 50 damage with the bow if we get eye shots they'll be doubled attack up at 50 and uh the bomb arrows at 40 damage so all the way over there okay let's try for it one two whoa good damage uh oh not good situation though wow another there we go we got him down finish him with this one 72 wow okay and he's flying around to regen there we go no more of that good blow off his eye there goes his flying friends oh come on one two insane damage super insane let's uh use the weak stuff on him finish them with that yeah nice come on spearheads oh so no so close we broke all that weak stuff though spear in the back ready to attack oh very much so uh i'm just a weak arrow that should finish goodbye precision shots of the eye there no coal resistance pure damage and uh yeah we kind of knocked the socks just charge side on right away i guess technically you could do that next time right oh no damn it no we fell traveled fast and far and we got it all four ah my shield when you do that go for it go for it yeah get him okay since their guard stats really high approach every hit's only going to take one damage to that durability uh do this bolus possible just barely come on fire more lasers oh yes face sydney was gonna start with that he did though come on spear action nice for 2000 health that's going down really fast what's your next move huh just like that hmm couple of those come on just some more good reach and nice we shed it on him okay this next part is going to be tricky uh unless you want to use vulvar arrows which we don't okay we gotta do this in one quick go uh so we don't use more than three arrows here dive animation no i don't learn ow just like oh you are evil and now given the knife a few times perfect good damage going for the royal slam here two hits good okay the region what we're too much on the edge it broke our pillar apparently we can't do this at all stop regen at the very least oh but he got a sting stuck in the wall this isn't fair this whole fight is scuffed the divine beast is scuffed we got to finish him off there's nothing more we can do or say just death that's what you deserve ganon come on we're so close we're tracking him right to the finish all the way over there we can do it oh he's gonna do that i see oh that's how we counteract it good shield game very strong and spin game even stronger hopefully yes two wax we did it ah we had to walk past those scuffs but we got him i think it was pretty okay practice for uh what's to come ahead the blights are gone so we don't have to do that at the castle anymore but again and all of his enemies there it's gonna make for a fun challenge [Music] [Music] okay the blood moon is finally about to happen uh which means that the castle will be reset for one final time allowing us to kill all 70 enemies within it which include uh 20 guardians turrets uh 10 decade guardians five guardians skywatchers twelve moblins eighteen lizolfos um two lynels one stalnox a talus and of course calamity gannon so that's gonna be a lot of things to get through which uh will be tricky and it's just about to start there's no better way to do this than uh just knock on the front door kinda we just gotta go for it it's getting all red come on castle clear out let's go we're doing it maybe sir way in there we go i'm ready for you guys [Music] oh come on through the bomb parry there we go that's how we get them first one down here's the stray guardian come on bring it yeah long distance parry goodbye shoot okay uh not good we got to be careful though not to miss these there we go good three down we and our second bow put on the hallway and there's that guy stealth won't have an effect because he already knows we're here should face the spear oh no wait i know he's going to jump like that they course we can always try to get the stealth strike but uh there is a way to get extra weapons in here uh in case we do run out so i'm not too worried well we got this stuff quick spins stagger them a but there's that one final guy with the royal guard sword what yeah there's a good way we can really stretch its effectiveness just one handy thing we can do put that fire right there i want his weapon really bad so shock him and he drops his weapon and let's just wait a little bit his opponent should be on the floor now aha do you see it right under him that's another royal guard's claymore make him drop another now he won't have it light the fire and let's wait it out he'll grab another one in the back room you know you can just build up a nice little stash shoot him right there and as long as he doesn't pick it up he'll keep grabbing him from the back room you make nieces look at that he's got a bunch of weapons behind him yeah every single time look at that regardless claim was four new ones and he stalls one knees holding himself we'll just land right there we'll make a single sound boom it doesn't do a lot of damage anymore because our attack will run out we have no more attack food so uh we gotta do again in this way too sadly but it's really not about the attack buff it's about the weapons so okay now we just gotta find exactly where the last two enemies are before ganon look how empty the castle is though like there's no lasers on us no nothing in the air it's so peaceful i dig it you know oh well there's one a missed turret of course there's just so many of these it's painful but you're gonna be the one in pain now goodbye turrets okay uh empty castles get near the top and see what we missed so empty and quiet wait i hear guardian hey of course you're in back goodbye final one down i was looking for you good you're back to towards the whole castle there we go that marks 69 out of 70. last one left is climbing again and himself usually like charging to the front door but uh everything else we faced was just too much of a royal pain in the ass so we're gonna do it we're literally just going for it no no time to waste no time to kill only again in the kill and a king to avenge we don't have any sort of uh attack foods besides uh we have the three minute one skirt we're eating it temporary hearts good and the flurry see how fast we can melt them not super fast but thank you for the baby attack up oh that wasn't good that was good there's some constant flurries here perfect whacking a few heads good get free as well i can that was a slam down and almost to death okay we're being as reckless as the real royal guard good okay come on just a few good shots it could have been an awful slam down right to the face activate the second phase thank you 113. no we really can't mess up good the pairing's still strong for us too early too perfect actually okay keep going [Music] good we parried it little window for us get some bops good more yes no i'm still shielding stuff i'm really nervous it's the last hardy thing not good he's rejecting oh no here it comes fireball perry yeah knock it back big explosion okay get in a few badly damaged critical putting all those enemies before us but nope all 69 enemies and himself boom all gone a whole century after the calamity began the lone royal guard was finally able to avenge his home castle and save
