Can you BEAT Breath of the Wild using ONLY Gerudo Gear??

[Music] the gerudo have been an iconic group in the series for quite a while now but breath of the wild marks the first game where a player can finally use their milton weaponry and outfits to their advantage but if we were to stick with only this cultural aesthetic of clothing and weapons without using anything else would it be possible to then get through and beat the entirety of breath of the wild the rules of the run are simple one all divine beasts and the finale must be cleared two only gruder weapons and outfits can be equipped three the treasure of the gerudo the thunderhelm must be permanently obtained four urbosa's op champion weapons can only be used once and not repaired which would otherwise trivialize the run and five as always force mandatory items like the zora armor are still okay as the divine beast run requires them considering that the grueler weapons tend to fall on the low to mid tier damage spectrum on top of the fact that we're playing this in master mode we're really going to make sure that we're stocked up on weaponry acutely to guarantee our perseverance across all foes that stand in our path but with all this said prepare for one incredible adventure ahead and i hope you all enjoyed the gerudo only run finally at the paraglider so we can now move on to the desert okay we just gotta head west though because uh there's gonna be a lot of grudo weapons right away there's no way he heard me there was no way he heard me there oh he has a grude weapon on his neck okay i know he can follow me this far oh my god mere high knocks yes oh wait no soldier spirit get yeah that's what i wanted okay gotta drop the soldier spear okay there we go first brutal weapon a moonlight scimitar which is the better of the two we need to get those guys but oh my okay bomb arrows i have a plan for this i think right around here on this nice platform there we go that's our golden bow with quick shots so that'll be that'll be really nice but i see you over there i need to take you out i say we were back no not keys what that came out of nowhere now right at the beginning okay we have the better vantage point i see you but goblins you are not going to be an issue there we go and close friends didn't even see me perfect a little too far for us to grab we'll call him up and we're at the headshot range open it up to get off diamond wait i believe this one is what i'm after brutoshield yes and it has durability up very helpful no okay that's good we gotta move on we just started the sound we already have uh sword bow and shield just right off the plateau thank you desert for being like right here love that out of this bow open this chest for another brutal shield with durability again okay good start for the shields oh my god archer bokos uh he has a horse i want though i want the horse look he came right to me i think it was meant to be please don't shoot me off please don't shoot me off no okay and more horses wait did they just respawn i think they did that was weird oh no i don't know they're still following me ah too many close calls i don't see any of them coming this is a cool horse you know i'm always a big fan of spotted horses from here i'm just going to make it to that stable and there's at least a few brutal weapons by that stable including one the shrine which we'll probably do no rocks a lot of thrust in the desert oh my god okay canyon stable oh don't jump over the rock gotta register you first honestly in the spirit of the desert stuff uh i think i have a nice desert-y name the arbiter just in spirit of uh our ruse grounds an actual normal name this time yeah so we already got a bit of oars on the plateau and a little bit after it so that'll be helpful for selling uh for anything that we need rubies for especially outfits because like it's gonna be like a combined like 3000 rupees for both the grudo office but before we head directly into the desert we do need to get a few weapons around here so just right here with the brutal scimitar so that'll be nice he's kind of a bad shot though no we got sniped in the shrine oh my god okay nice hidden chest there four another girdle weapon okay anything to build ourselves up a bit there is a golden bow around here too golden bow yes i always need a second one basically i'm going to be stocking up on these because it's the only bow we can have so it's not hard to see that there are tons of grude weapons littered across this entire region but if you want to know the exact locations for all of them i have made a map and key of every single gerudo weapon in the world that you can use or even follow along with as we get weapons in the video which you can screenshot or download from the description below so in order to stock up to face the foes ahead we are going to need to make our way through the gruder weapon dense areas of the desert most importantly to the gerudo secret desert stash we have two golden bows two shields three swords i think we're pretty good to venture in now let's do it one of these guys has something oh they're white the goblins oh my god uh oh uh i really want to stuff though oh we can take them on from here oh there we go he dropped him yes thank you not worth killing but i wanted that what nothing unusual here where are you standing next to a barrel that's pretty unusual hi barrel you're looking to fight no just the barrel almost hit me you could buy the single arrows that exist for some reason i mean if you really need them they're there it's getting a bit toasty surprisingly this is faster than uh just running so i always try to do it so after we talk to this guy then we unlock the merchant okay as long as we're on the edge of the wall he won't catch us i like how this is allowed so we can finally get ourselves some uh at least somewhat appropriate crude armor up we go i need to go close shopping here vey link ruto tire one acquired you know the weapons fit nice with that it's better than being a naked now so i'm happy with my uh three defense might save us from my head that's a fake one almost got trolled by that sapphire awesome you're not a sapphire you're my enemy you give me rupees though [Applause] yay single one no electric keys no so many shock things we need the resistance so bad we're just down here there we go we'll burn this away just a few fire arrows a golden bow yes okay we're gonna go over here to where the tower is nope nope not electric keys make it up there there we go oh no thank you so many powerful enemies here we really need to catch up to them it's like an actual like mini walkway that leads into that our region oh my god we got sniped uh here we are the tower region the tallest tower just goes infinitely down oh before we clamp this whole thing do we need to get what's down there right here is the moonlight skimming star with attack up plus six okay yes our most powerful one have we got someone make this whole climb uh there's a lot of enemies here's a banana [Music] my banana yay thank you mighty oh that's a rock wow everything's here to trick us and deceive us go back to bed my archer no wait here's that no okay hit him off it's on the wrong side of us now we're good oh no he's got a spear so many projectiles nope goblin projectile barrel oh my god they're just throwing everything at me as soon as we make this climb we'll have a lot better stuff this is what a fall this isn't good run no oh my god he came he wasn't even my camera angle trying to defend from the other guy that's so just unsatisfying many lives were locked no i just spawned in what that's unfair literally spawn camped oh my god let's go ah too close we're almost there though many lights were lost going up this hill but it's all worth it none of these deaths were honorable but it's about redemption the reward of coming up here is that we can now go to the secret stash right over there okay just like that one head perfect and what's in here we'll also lock the true power of the gerudo yes brutal spear uh radiant shield oh my god all this good stuff another golden bow and another moonlight scimitar that's a lot of weapons four weapons one area and it responds every blood moon and golden rupees a lot of good loot in this room this will help us a lot for the run now that we have that we have four golden bows uh two skimitars three moonlights gerudo spear um and then yeah four shields okay i think that's a really good start for this and with that i think we'll be able to start with the main story now now we can make it in though blending in perfectly not just with outfit but uh the weaponry too not just a traveler i'm a warrior the golden bow or by the training yards and there's a few more weapons around here too actually so we can dab those i forget that this little area exists it is a spear probably taking that there is a golden bone in that chest but i'm already full on bows finally there is another scimitar scimitar whatever you want to call it i always alternate oops english is a confusing language it's called a curvy sharp object there we go we can go over from the tower this time make it there much much faster only thing i fear though is the yeah clan soldiers there they are okay now we run like a madman nothing shot us already in this run we just gotta take him on get a little spin what was that i feel like i've never seen that before no no we're getting so close okay i'll take all your spoils though they're just lining up for me thank you all these trained soldiers dying to the hands of an amateur i love it now this is where the fun begins this will be simple though gotta get our banana toss in here he's dummy look i'm like walking at full speed doesn't even hear me so many bananas so much attack boosting food we can make off this no don't close at me please don't close me up did i land inside or outside i i can't tell i'm scared i'm very much so screwed okay no no no no no i'll keep all the loot that i got so we're not dying we're not dying we're not dying we're not flying we got to use pepper struts though pepper straps those are the best strats and just like that awesome we'll just do the safe method there we go we made it awesome give me bananas yes mock thunderhelm a lot of arrows okay i'm happy with that oh the eagle guy just came into here that sucks i know you can do pretty nice so now we can travel back and hopefully get an armor up right now with all of our new loot who needs main entrances i prefer the spider-man though secret password g uh s i think i remember it gsc's diamond wait [Music] yeah okay i forgot it not gonna lie and look at that some fancy gerudo armor we can finally change out of this rubies we can sell those already 16 1700 oh my god we're getting a lot of rupees okay so we're very prepared i'm happy about that thank you guys okay now trousers buy these out get the headband and finally the uh spa dealer the chess piece yes oh my god with 300 rupees left let's change there and look at that full brutal armor it looks so awesome with this i was really waiting for it last thing we got to do is upgrade the armor oh man okay that's gonna be a fun challenge later now we can upgrade it enhance the way we have enough because uh we got some stuff on the plateau because there's a cold area so i'm happy we did that earlier i can make this just slightly more powerful could possibly save us a hit or two all upgraded to five like 15 armor points it's a nice start and just parker right here see what's in this chest oh golden bell okay if we could use that but we can't okay we'll come back for it 20 bomb arrows okay i mean that we're going to use like eight for the beast maybe a bit more and then there are some stupid stuff this part is going to be tricky though because with the golden bows zoom in thing i don't know it's not easy when you're moving around a lot oh it's zap zap camel uh oh okay and the zoom is not helpful too many times nope really digging this aesthetic though need to take a second to just take it in not the highest point in the desert here thanks to my camel friend oh get it quick get it quick ah yes up all of our fairies that's for thunder blight not for you you can hit the stupidest ways but this time we gotta actually fight get him all her way whenever i avoid the fight i lose something no avoiding this time no my shots are better here we go final terminal though and uh oh my god i don't think i'm ready for what's next can go down here avoid the electricity well i mean at least we have some pretty good weaponry we're gonna use the moonlight skivitar and some good armor so i feel like that with an attack buff should be pretty good okay let's go okay it's gonna come at me oh okay down here is better for this okay blurry rush that's some good damage wow good choice to find him early a lot less health and already half halfway oh my god i forgot the blight scale so if you do the this one first uh well this happens oh okay so hard when he's so far don't yep i always grab the first one that gets shocked he's returning all of his health too there we go somehow that worked and he's on top there i can't hit him well bombs will do get some damage stop the regen at least okay i did something he's just enraged moby's not even attacking me what the perry didn't count no okay let's go don't reject it back there we go wow we actually got him right away gives us a good lead oh so much for that lead he just took off rowing a half of hearts oh my god ah oh my god no no way we actually got him that all happened so fast ah man that was all too quick i was not expecting any of that but the battle is over in like 10 seconds okay but next time yeah um just get them quickly and it just becomes a lot easier looks like we did it we have urbosa's fury this will help out a lot now oh my god okay now that we have a nice selection of weapons here uh pretty much yeah full on slots this will be more than enough to take on a meadow just need to buy some more stuff eventually we'll have to unlock into the fairy fountain so rupees will be nice arbor take you back out i'm gonna have to really use it now no guardians i have no coil right now move horse i can't be the death of me just gotta make sure that once we hit the area we're gonna go in the snowy area for a bit so we can get some frozen ingredients oh yeah you know what we should really do this quest though because just by starting and not even completing it he talks about the great fairy and he gives you 500 rupees so poor's there we go flint as we're just uh avoiding that flying turret uh it's okay and the ferry phone is really close to the tower so we can do like one upgrade but we still need more uh the cold ingredients which we will get in uh excuse me yes okay had a very short window for that there we go almost right to the shrine that's good enough we'll just uh sleep and rest for a bit that was a long journey i want to go tonight actually this way the keys will spawn uh in the ice region oh more arrows yes don't mind me need a lot for uh you know the giant flying boss they're pretty potent uh all four of them ah there's some bright ingredients i'm gonna make some bread hold on really quick just gotta make an army of bread all right 10 minutes that'll warm up the body pretty nicely we put these two together we have bread and this will warm the soul so i'm more okay with that everyone just has a go-to food in the game and bread is mine let me eat this so we don't want to freeze to death with you know a lot of our body exposed oh yiga i forgot they're going to spawn because we uh kind of killed their leader earlier and he's gonna kill me okay no a lot of bows is a bad time to go around here oh that's a lot that's really a lot away from some of them shoot him off or shoot the horse sorry bomb these ones away can't waste weapon durability on them flint we need that for later for the thunder helm more flint the one time i actually want flint from these i'm gonna use my rain shield to suffer and he just hit the horse oh my god they'll see me i'm just after the bats and hello bye-bye no ah they're double firing at me that one just missed completely why is he soldiering in the same place what are you doing oh snowballs can't have snowballs no some more okay i think that'll be enough so when we kill them without dying there we go perfect okay we have a nice amount let's just grab these and uh head back core resistance butter one out we can make another meal though not yet okay there's no more food that's gonna help with that that's unfortunate we're before midnight we're back after yeah you're right let's do it because the shop will restock uh at midnight as soon as we're out of the area we can make some progress so it's going to coca rico village and get some more slots that'll be nice yeah the peppers won't be enough unless we happen to critical which i turn around that arrow turn around is really nice for gliding and that broke like an idiot it's okay we'll get more shields that was nice and we got him okay feels good surfing shield hi orsi bye oversee now we gotta do some upgrades here and yeah definitely weapon stash weapons are gonna be more important because we'll cycle through them a lot faster there we go two full rows uh we have five weapons right now but after the next divine beast we're gonna have a lot less so it'll be a perfect time to farm some more out diamond's hard in the rain i feel that man i feel that's too hard but enough for that let's go back to rito village get our sun shrooms cook them up and then divine beast and now we just made our progress easier for when we do rudo give me sunshine right there we go some more sunshine everything is restocked because we passed midnight and we were in the area and then 10 minutes level two awesome we'll be warm as soon as we go there meadow or one level two uh cool resistance dish but we only need 10 minutes for all this where is the challenge thank you sniper bow really snipe the heck out of him just under nine minutes for all this we got it yeah revolu's gill's nice to have early though of the map stuff just like that okay what we didn't grapple on that's just disappointing roughly moving the beast as needed he's gone to let it go or ah it's hard to shoot it while it's moving calculated there we go going over whoop oh my god okay we shouldn't have jumped there uh kind of forgot how physics worked for a second i was just being unmindful but it's fine let's do radiant to surf down this look at that not even tripping up oh just there yes we got it okay so all that worked get him this is going by really fast you gotta love the surfing stats on the radiant shield last terminal okay awesome that's four and a half minutes to go it was like a five minute clear out looks like it's time for time to kill ravali's murderer go nope covers his eye oh yeah don't have much stamina for this ah there we go he's temporary step no oh man you gotta get three in a row regen no not that regen stamina regen ah there we go just perfect but uh no i want to looks we can't use attack boost for this fight too busy staying warm and wasting our arrows there we go materialize no i think that's the worst personally there we go one two and three no he always back in the desert and uh we can get some more brutal stuff and uh make some more progress to the thunder home too because i really want to get that that'll be really helpful for uh the zoro region actually there's a lot of shock stuff so take this nice uh elevator thing up there we go put that on there nope gotta make a ride thank you and what what no that's not fair you betrayed me box come on no what he put it into me oh back in the highlands uh where it's very cold but you know we have some food to scarf down wild berries okay need some of those for the thunder home because there's a lot of quests to do uh one of the quests requires giving someone wild berries to ease their melon addiction i'm not making that up my promise no no yelling there we go the chest right there something we're going to use open it for a radiant shield we do need these ones these are so much better than the garuda ones there's a lot of really good stuff uh for like the griddle set upgrades uh just on this little like plateau area so little tails choo choo keys just like that one one for you two there we go that's a lot like that no back off i'm gonna shot by something stupid here thank you for can do a lot while we're here obviously the two parts of the quest and then uh when we're at the fairy fawn we can upgrade our armor a bit more right the arbors grounds it's uh very varied good name inspiration for my horse though uh but mulduga oh boy run it's super fast oh no there we go oh man so big well luckily it's no match for something nice that we have fury take them right out a little too impressive come on oh we we don't have a third one i forgot run oh that would have been deadly luckily they were kind of stupid though we're fixing it on bombs oh come on take the bomb oh no get out yes we got him oh that was so close bomb arrow should do the trick there we go just deep each him that way that works the belly forgot the belly's weak okay awesome malduga has been destroyed we just conquered a goliath oh the chest almost conquered me though but we got the multi-good guts yay now we have this loot right here let's see amber is that no flint good stuff a diamond though i mean i'll take it i'm not arguing with that one amber from that i hate that and a flint oh my god we almost cracked it open we are nine flint we need one more hello barta i came here it was still effort to come and save you your boss was mad oops okay but we did that though now some upgrades oh look at that though 16 and 19. we have a lot of parts those risks were worth it earlier enhance the last one after this we'll have uh some light electric resistance mind you the thunder helm will make it irrelevant but hey the armor is mainly what we're after here we can upgrade it once uh we find the next fairy probably kakariko then i need good stuff only rock salt amber one flint come on that's gotta be it give me no oh flint yes i was about to attack on accident we got it awesome with that done though we can warp back and uh complete the four quests first one it's about the wild berries that we collected uh a bit ago her farm is being ruined by pollution there's melon mines going down the river so we gotta talk to uh the polluter how spoiled i literally need a brighter so she stops littering it's all cleaned up you get a hydromount for reward that's very fitting and ironic but the nice thing is eventually a berry patch will grow here so that's kind of cool you can come back to it i always love that detail but next uh well barto's safe so you lousy lot i love brutal language silver ruby okay i got something i'll take any sort of compensation better than the melon one torches on one torch is out i don't know anymore hello oh she's trying to ask the guard for help well lucky you i can help here we go we'll do the guts for medicine purposes and a gold rupee wow much more competitive compensation for a lost soldier and last but not least it's you i need to talk to so you can open your store flint 10 pieces of flint well lucky for you we took a decent amount of time to get that 10 pieces of flint funny thing about this is that uh you can get a circlet cold resistance uh this would have been very very helpful uh for the snowy area but one it didn't have the flint and two um i didn't think of it oops but now that we got all that done finally head and uh get our thunderhelm yes a true friend of the gurudo it took that long i wasn't a friend before when i like helped you take on a giant mechanical beast and look at that you can even wear it in the town without getting caught so i think that's really cool looks awesome and i can't wait to use it facing all the shock stuff one more quick thing that we're gonna do before we leave the desert is a weaponry obviously we're not doing super hot in it and the blooming probably won't happen for a bit probably not until the after the next divine beast okay unless there was a blood moon which would be helpful uh blood moon oh okay there we go as long as we disarm them there we go take it awesome free stuff thank you get it quick before the keys touches that golden claim were awesome first two-handed weapon all right i have the thunderhelm they literally can't do anything to me oh that can ouch i'm getting out and then we're gonna load uh back into the secret stash bye-bye the keys is just gonna try now can't do anything to me you suck we're back in and look all of our weapons are back brutal spear golden bow rating shield that we can't pick up uh we will though yeah sorry brutal shield i just picked up uh there we go take the golden bow now we're following these again here the spear got to take that and here it is right here google scimitar almost full we only have two more slots and i know exactly which ones to get okay just on these platforms here this shouldn't be too bad jump in and steal the loot before he uh he dismisses me oh no not the ruby oh they're bomb arrows no no oh my god i don't know how we survived that just get it get it oh my god girl spirit durability that's fine because we just need a bounce oh the bridge broke wow that was all too much okay high beads durability not long throw though aha you see that's right there that's very well hidden uh just in this rubble if we open it then another brutal spear okay awesome yeah these guys are going to be really nice for a facing water blight because you know the range attacks are very helpful uh spear versus spear basically so let's do it loopy oh stand still for a second and we got oh that was that was late uh okay at least i got something a thousand rupees we can do that but man that's getting hefty we can do one of these at least i'm gonna do you know there we go level three four more defense that'll be helpful for the boss fight that's a lot of uh rain now we're here we're literally anything oh no hey no oh my god we got launched i shouldn't know that i was coming there's so many enemy camps here and there we go nice war point for later like that yes ooh that's a good one nice thing about getting the thunder home for this run before this not for these guys these guys don't carry shock stuff i and what was that that was just floated that's never happened before amazing don't mind me uh baby guardian nope he said don't mind me thank you needs to mind his accuracy though that was pretty rough pretty good what is the best weapon other than the drill shaft uh a second drill show yeah we gotta heal for this fight right here uh stick with our spear first a bow not damage shield and uh all right i think we're ready water blight time spear versus spear here uh okay good yes beam them not too bad damage for the third blight we have the scaling saw gonna make this rough we're both so scary though we gotta go with that oh man look at that and it killed the guardian outside oh you know he's still there just see the faint black bar okay good good and halfway one or two hits there we go easy as a gerudo this part is where it gets tricky though ice shots yep no match charge up some for the regen there we go yeah and the break okay it went down fast but that's all right only going to continue with more shots and he's doing this thing oh flurry but that's not going to end well is it oh we got all the way over there props to you i guess nice that's usually pretty unexpected oh no let's do it again is it gonna happen oh it didn't oh we got launched into it i didn't even know to be honest we're really taking those hits out the armor's making us nice and op there we go don't are at the stable eastacala you have got smothering butterflies all three that i need where we need to go is uh that stable over there we have the stable right here which is the one right next to the swamp has another three butterflies we got there we go the other three smothering butterflies i need them all it'll be enough for two really good uh level two fireproof dishes what is this a downhill it's the perfect time for a radiant shield surf look at that and the shield's not breaking in whenever i'm hitting this like path i don't know why but shields don't break on paths i'll take all three potions why not only 150 rupees it's chump change because i only have 150 left we have the three fireproof elixirs um the six butterflies and we'll cook these up with some lizards that we find on the way to the city so that'll be nice all right arbiter let's go to the volcano even hotter than the desert all right away we go boom awesome okay here we are at the mine swing our diamond pickaxe okay lizard i see you there's gonna be a lot here got you and always check the rocks there's so many like every single rock in this area has a lizard and you have a lizard and this whole entire area is lizards just lizards everywhere thank you i need you i love like the workers i don't know the mind aesthetic okay try to win bob into here so we can avoid the falling rocks uh oh we're not avoiding them oh maybe we are okay one good bomb just like that and take me right in perfect okay but we're now in goron city and uh we didn't find a single butterfly on the way here so good thing we bought them that's the reason that we did okay so we're gonna do three butterflies and a lizard and a thing and that should give us a nice level 2 dish for 11 minutes 50 seconds okay that's one for next one we'll do three butterflies lizard and then the gut should last a bit longer that gives us 18 minutes and 10 seconds okay the god is helpful but we only had one left so we're fine like with 30 minutes we'll be more than good all right janabo come on freya all right it's getting hot uh time for the first level two buff all right got in total time about a half hour to this whole segment bombs away there we go before we go there though this wouldn't be a proper playthrough we didn't pay our specs to the drill shaft yes sorry i can't pick you up man until next time drill shaft i hate having a third time okay so now we gotta do the torch one we gotta bring this blue fire up to the opposite end of the beast all the way up there shoot it off and then we pick it up and we shoot it off and just keep doing this and our bow's not going to burn up this time i'm going to take full advantage of that carry it a bit more over here and just like that we go but and we got it okay awesome did it without a torch [Music] okay and there's the eye we gotta shoot first right over there don't fold the cracks there's a lot of cracks and there's a lot of okay pick ourselves back up just over there okay good and then we flip this off perfect just don't fall but oh no we messed it up now we're on the opposite side and now we can't be love divine beast controls uh oh okay this is the final one only two and a half minutes left we need to use urbosa's power help us out a bit that barely does any damage oh no this is gonna be rough the time is not our friend today eye shots okay when he's was really really good though oh my god and then final step is to go to ganon all four divine beasts have now been cleared so the only last thing to do before ganon is to get some proper weaponry even more proper than this all right here we are the two chests we have been saving till now the best height here grew to weapons the scimitar of the seven and the daybreaker amazing if we try them on with the full outfit let's go with this set yes and then the daybreaker and finally it's gonna start with the seven yes look at this oh my god this looks absolutely incredible all right ganon coming for you with this all right arbiter we gotta take it again and now everything must now come full circle the final march just moving in the distance okay i love how he holds a sword like this it looks so powers of verbosa and the gerudo we were finally able to defeat calamity ganon and beat this run for good which was an incredible experience to say the least staying true to this brutal aesthetic to complete a full playthrough was extremely investing within the character of this culture and that's honestly why i enjoy these types of themed runs so much so thank you all so much for watching this marks the second theme run we have done on the channel as the first run we did here was the chica only run where we used their more stealthy tactful approach to solve problems in the world while
