Can you BEAT Breath of the Wild using ONLY amiibo??

is it possible to beat breath of the wild using only amiibos you know those plastic figurines you can scan into your game to get loot nintendo has made 24 zelda theme ones over the past five years and just by using the loots acquired from them is it possible to beat the entire game without picking up any other item the rules of the run are simple one each amiibo can only be used once two all non-amiibo weapons materials and other pickups are completely off limits three all divine beasts and the finale must be completed four shops can still be accessed using the rupees and mats you got from amiibos and five force mandatory items like the zora armor are still okay as the run would be literally impossible without them as you can see this is not gonna be an easy run as the randomness of the amiibos won't always guarantee us the greatest drops and there's gonna be a ton of bosses to fight oh no no oh yeah to make things worse this is all going to be a master mode which is going to make things brutal but i'll try my best to hold on to the slightest bit of faith but with that said prepare for one hell of an adventure and i hope you all enjoy breath of the wild's very first amiibo only run all right start with the sheikah slate nothing too interesting here wait i already failed the run okay well i have to remember the rules here that i made um we were like three seconds into it i swear great plateau don't pick up the stick don't want to fail the run it's a master mode too so oh my god that's your first obstacle we have the whole winter section we have no armor oh boy so first things first here are amiibo so this will be number one of the stream so we have links awakening amiibo gonna put it on our controller and we have some fish it looks like armored carp mighty carp ice arrow so i guess ideally we can still cook this stuff up and then we can survive the cold this way so it's not cold resistant stuff but hey it's health and we could use health right now we're still in the early game here oh no not the lionel no no no no we don't have a weapon here so we'll use bombs to make it across there we go blast okay i'll take that whoo and yeah i don't want to deal with those bye-bye hopefully they don't throw rocks at me oh my god the climb started a bit rocky funny patiently make this i don't want to increase the death car on the plateau like that would be uh that'd be not good no not the keys that could actually kill us in like one hit okay uh yeah we'll save those for sure um [Music] sorry and no not the ice ones he sees me he sees me i'm running so fast i hate this let me live we made it through the killing fields save shrine don't die to the scout oh no could just bomb it or just run past like a maniac yeah i kind of like to run past it like maniac idea nope nope nope nope what's he do i don't hear him i hear me here we died on the plateau uh nope nope nope nope nope all right oh my god he's right there oh no the pacofan is right there uh uh still tempted to do uh hearts just in case he kind of whacks us oh my god he didn't try to whack me right away which is nice okay we're finally off the plateau well kind of we have the paraglider we will do the tune like amiibos so these ones the drops are kind of weak um but they're still kind of nice so our first one is going to be the anniversary one oh i can just hear him kill something all the fish oh okay that's actually kind of a good one uh it's one of the rarer ones like a 26 damage weapon at the start of the game we're gonna need this like really bad the second one will be the other two length one which is technically the smash bros one that came out uh for the wii u game like a while ago so we are gonna do that [Music] we have more fish just getting tons of fish here but what's in the chest okay what a weird chance of getting two of the same item but you know i'll take it we need all the swords we really can get we'll do one more for the meantime and then we'll scan the twilight princess stuff once we get off the plateau but this one will be the coblin one which isn't really super good for drops but i mean we can get some good uh you know clubs and whatnot so we'll see a lot of meat okay i mean that's critical it like i really can't uh vouch for too much there we have what we have you know we're gonna do it and you know with that said we can get off the plateau maybe we'll get a bow so we can use the ice arrows that'll be kind of nice so for those of you wondering why don't you scan in everything now at the start it's because the amiibo loot drops get better the further you are in the main story and this happens in three distinct steps one after you clear your first shrine two after you beat the plateau and three after you clear your first divine beast which is the ideal time to scan them all in however these six zelda amiibos in specific never tear past the plateau which is why we're doing them all so early but in order to have a chance at the high tier drops from the rest of them our first objective now is to clear our very first divine beast the anniversary twilight princess one which is gonna guarantee get us epona there we go we'll do one more before that was close you know yeah if we're going to linero we can take a shortcut through kakariko oh but there's one problem now in order to take down divine beast valordania or ruto rather we need a bow which we don't have hmm we're trying to think now i mean we can take down divine beasts about roudenia without the bow so we might just do that one first yeah i think that's going to have to happen here in order to register the horse we need ruby so we will go to beetle beetle where are you i mean i'm gonna regret this decision later maybe if i need it but like we have that uh i don't know seems kind of more important it's okay because we do have to buy those potions um do we have enough stuff to sell to buy the potions though oh boy this is gonna be a bit trickier than i thought we'll avoid them hey how's it going i don't think she likes being chased but she just tumbles i don't i didn't even know i think it could tumble i've never seen that before is there normally but kaplan horses around here i don't remember that nope nope go away go away ah gotta get ambushed there okay he's still following me he's still following me like dude get a life seriously he's still going is this dude even supposed to be here he's still going you usually never they never follow you around this long we're just gonna kind of turn around assuming he's not there anymore okay bye-bye you can uh you can chill out there stupid ice wiz robe that wasn't a pun i promise i really need a bow for this run guys this is not going to be nice we're supposed to get 150 rupees see that brings up a situation now because like we're gonna need a lot of stuff to survive the heat we're gonna need the potions to get up there and then we're gonna have to buy more armor because it gets even hotter and that's just a lot of rupees for what we have so as we can see progressing to most of the divine beast areas is going to be quite expensive considering that a lot of these drops didn't give us a heck of a lot of rupees rodania requires expensive heat gear noborus requires the gerudo sets and rudolph requires 20 shock arrows which are all way above what we have so this leaves us with doing vomito the cheapest of the bunch but first we will need to get us a bow along with a few other scans to ensure we are ready breath of the wild archer amiibo hopefully get a bow okay let's see hey a knight's bow that'll be very helpful all right our first bow we have all these arrows and a lot of fish too i'll take the fish thank you we'll scan twilight princess uh smash bros one there we go a lot of good stuff he has electric stuff and a durian hearty food is going to be nice a lot of variety i like this [Music] i mean not really the roofies but uh i'm not complaining about this like at all here we go we will go amiibo scan tune zelda there we go opal i mean at 60 rupees and that's like three shock arrows so you know i'll take that fortified pumpkin warm safflina yeah that'll be nice for uh you know the snow stuff except we need higher tier ingredients technically this will be number nine then but we'll scan it in that is breath of the wild zelda okay some more of this sort of stuff which is nice and what are we gonna get a sh okay we have a shield that is very nice i will cherish this with my life yeah i think i think metal is looking the best we only need some stuff for cold resistance and then we have the bow already which is going to be fine we have some arrows we'll get more bomb arrows um yeah oh boy oh no this is not good that was not good that was far from good we went right in the heart of the territory and i didn't even realize where i was don't hit me don't hit me don't hit me oh my god i don't like this it falls straight off and it's like really oh my god he actually hit my horse he kind of just sped back into it my wife is on fire my weapon's on fire we almost lost our weapon too oh boy that would have really sucked she deserves an apple i would give her an apple but i want to cook the apple because we need it for the baked apple quest line okay so this should be pretty quick we get the shrine do the little memory um go to the flight range and then divine beast but first we do need to stop at the shop because uh cold it's gonna be pretty cold do we have sunshrooms we do yo might as well just buy them okay let's see what we can make i'm gonna try sunshroom one two and then we'll put a sugar in there see if i remember how to cook right it's gonna be critical 60 okay you know i think we're we have a lot more to work with than i thought why is this auto highlighted i need to prepare i'm already prepared you know trust me what because i only have three hearts like no weapons and no bows and pretty much no armor yeah i'm good i'm good i need the map thingy first don't trip there we go let's go speed run this there's many different ways you can do this one to be honest you could do this whole wave which is like okay i guess you know or you could do it the fun way or you go through here just like that [Music] yeah screw it get rid of this stupid spot we lost it anyways we're good oh a chast just came hurling at me hello no not the shield we damaged our shield come on bring it on i'm tough i got this i got my 20 damage weapons here wait can you pair these [Music] uh well i can't try anymore oh there we go second phase okay these bombers make everything pretty easy third one got it okay we got this there's one more gust after this a lot of bombs we got him that did a lot of damage okay you know what not as bad as i thought we're gonna ignore that one death though but like i mean used all of our bomb arrows a lot of resources but we got them so i can't i can't complain there let's just say it was pretty okay let's just try it here we're gonna try zelda amiibo twilight bow it's a two percent chance so you might hope so i really shouldn't be getting my hopes up there we go take all the plants opal okay see we tried i mean 60 rupees but really hoping for something better there 13 more ones that drop stuff one of them's just wolf link oh this is tory mountain i love the satori monson oh too bad it's uh not really necessary in this run but i just love when it glows oh the fire is protected you know that's a cool detail now that i noticed the fire is protected because renals have wings and like if it wasn't protected they might like burn off their wings i kind of like that detail it's awesome burn the apple yes there we go it did it it baked the apple i know where this goes apple yes give me a present still rupee yay let's do urbosa yeah there we go we have one for both though so this will be an amiibo number 11 uh hopefully we'll get something good scan going straight for the chest oh my god vonda boris divine helmet that's a super rare one we got very lucky with that man so let's do a amifo oh we got fish from the mipho mio interesting hey what i wouldn't have thought about that oh okay another helmet we could probably sell this one to be honest breath of the wild ryder link so this one's pretty cool hopefully we don't get the horse armor because like that's purely aesthetic and won't help us big hearty truffle i like that give me hearty foods fire arrows i mean hey any any cool arrows are good we now have 13 of the 24 scanned you know let's actually do daruk's because drooks can get us a lot of uh ores and that'll be good for selling um and we need a lot of rupees so and jerk's a fun amiibo like look at him he is big boy so yeah let's do it [Music] uh recipes for all the good ores i was talking about smasher weapon cobble crusher not super good but it has critical hit and critical it's pretty good on the two-handed where is oh there's cooking pot um shock stuff could be nice for later i don't know but we don't have a lot of it some of these are are not worth as much as i thought uh we'll sell them anyways though no boy stealth one up 80. there we go of enough we'll skim through this i'll take them amazing yeah now we can make it into the town so let's do it so shock arrows these are important we'll grab one of those and then yeah we'll just buy a couple bundles plus 15 more which is good all the bosses are very weak to arrows so yeah so let's head to divine beast baruta we have our shock arrows already and yeah it should go pretty smoothly at least i'm hoping i say we just try to find the quick way as soon as possible avoid the birds so we can skip the sideline cutscene we can't we can't have the slide on cutscene because then it'll give us us uh an electric potion which technically will go against the rules of the run hi sidon i will see you soon okay bye-bye oh those are rocks zelda or meepa that's a good one i mean personally i'm a huge zelda synth so like that's that's where i have all my cards too whoosh there we go that's a quicker way of getting here okay so when i first played this i used arrows but really cryoness is the way to go because yeah you're not wasting arrows i only have one bow anyways so i don't want to waste there we go yeah it's the quickest sporting segment if you know the trick what do they do if sidon isn't in breath of the wild too he needs to be in breath of the wild too literally side on imagine if it didn't have side on like i love sidon too much he needs more screen time quick turn boom final terminal oh god all right there we go guys we sped through it pretty fast i would say water blades is going to be harder than wind with our setup but i think we'll like maybe two amiibos right now i feel like the first one we will do um i think it'll be kind of interesting we'll do a majora's mask one so it's uh majora's mask anniversary one i love this one like with the goron uh mask so we will scan this right here see what we get a lot of mushrooms i have to sell some of this stuff okay that'll be good like not a bow but you know 26 damage weapon plus durability yeah but we'll sell the tunic for twilight even though it's like very rare but like we need the rupees terribly we'll do two more so because we do need a bow and amiibo rivalli right there 16. what do we get a lot of random fruits because bird okay yeah that's that's a pretty good bow and these have good range and good fire rate so yeah we'll do one more it is the guardian one and this one has good potential of dropping high belly loots that will sell for rupees um so we'll see we have potential getting good weapons too so guardian amiibo yes okay you know i'll take it it's a durability one those are important and 15 extra damage or just 15 damage rather yeah so we have a good selection of weapons like nothing too powerful but you know what enough to hold us out for a while yeah we're gonna buy the one potion from wherever the potion seller is i think it's one of these people yep 60 for one six minutes if we just bought one piece of armor from there well we would still need like potions to go along with it so you know what we're gonna buy three more because this will extend the whole duration of that segment so let's do one more amiibo because we need to sell good stuff and ape it link amiibo right here okay a shield okay we need a shield we will cherish a shield okay six rupees we're really getting like cheap loot aren't we quite literally i'm gonna cook everything including the electric stuff we need to sell everything here in order to afford this whole quest line sell that sell the cold stuff for sure i just need that loot you know yeah we are going only recommends three potions to accommodate for distractions we ain't getting distracted by anything we got distracted will we be okay if we take the path there's gonna be fire rocks i don't want fire oh there are fire rocks and they do a lot of damage you're gonna save oh i love the goron carved into there so awesome see we're doing pretty great and making good time too we're doing it yeah okay it's like look at this fit like we look amazing so can't go back on that and how does links in the helmet that's a good question like it just really covers his eyes but i don't know the universe right over there and yeah this is where we can test out the wolf link amiibo and that guy's the drill shaft it's very tempting right now there we go yes we'll flink oh my god do your work buddy pop off yes make a great team he's like it just curveballed it quite literally this curveball is kind of funny i'm just trying to focus on one this is uh i didn't expect this to be a harder part of the run my dog sorry dog no not by the drill shaft we got shafted there ah he's going down gradually though no this is not going to be easy because quite literally we will break an entire weapon among these guys and we don't have the weapons this is another hurdle wow okay we do have another goal uh let's just distract one at a time so we can concentrate all of our energy and it'll be much easier okay we're doing it we're doing it yes look at that work got him yes we're doing it this is this is the ultimate tag team right here just blowing up my dog in the process no i'm sorry so close oh bomb safe way of doing it so it's probably gonna be a very easy boss fight which will be nice it'll be a nice break from the last two fights we had oh no don't worry jen don't regen we got that everything that's really nice that is a durability of royal claymore you know what that ain't the fierce deity sword but that's like pretty much the same thing i'm sorry we're keeping this that was i think that happen wait a second for the run she sells these shields for 50 rupees we could technically buy shields this way oh my god this changes so much i mean we're pretty late in the run now but wow drop be fine then i guess you really have to use a bow for him i think there's one more of this yep just don't want to waste arrows there we go see it's a fun boss fight but like it's very easy it doesn't require any weapons but like i don't know the music kind of hits so it makes up for it okay i'm being very careful about this i'm like focusing i'm like i can't have anything bad happen i really can't okay so we can only use like eight shots like this is going to be very tough but i thought we got them all unless they reject do they regen are they regening they're regening what no no no no no no sword so what i'm gonna do is because we need to guarantee at least one good item uh otherwise you just won't have enough items to get through the boss so we'll do like both at a time and if we don't get a a good job then we'll just reload the save okay fire arrow then we'll just reload both nope saves come no it sucks oh my god what it just levitated [Music] have you played mario odyssey i have only took us a couple tries but you know what with the powers it doesn't make it so bad wow after 10 long hours of the seemingly impossible playthrough we were able to finally destroy all the bosses and beat the run for good it did require us to do some safer loading to ensure we would have enough weapons to complete it which is just a side effect of basing a run off an rng system while still staying within the rules but ultimately this was an incredibly fun experience especially for my first ever challenge run of breath of the wild i really really hope you guys enjoyed this one and i may
