8 NEW Ocean Biome Mobs that Should be in Minecraft

eight new ocean mobs that should be added to minecraft we comb the seven seas in search of brand-new aquatic life that would be perfect for the game ja grouping experiences these mobs will light up your life you'll have a whale of a time well y'all like my jokes it stings man well come out of your shell a little bit and check out these new mops out on ocean waters we start with number one the shark the Sharks are somewhat hostile mobs that will hunt fish and drown and if they happen to be anywhere around you they'll hunt you as well here's one right now we can see instantly that the shark has a lunge attack that will take out nearby fish the moment it becomes in that sharks line-of-sight will even see that the shark is capable of attacking any nearby hospital drowns now the shark isn't always accurate you can see that that lunge from time to time will miss but hey I would not stay anywhere near this guy's jaws nice nasty bite we were to go into survival mode we see that he will lunge and do some serious damage - right off the bat but hey you can take out the shark if you're feeling daring enough wouldn't recommend you do it without armor so we're gonna go back into creative mode so we can show you what the shark actually happens to drop they've got a decent amount of health on the button upon death they will drop a special new item known as the shark tooth hello to the state take that shark tooth alongside some gold ingots just like this in a crafting table to make a shark tooth necklace which you can actually keep on you to get a passive strength as well as resistance effect when you're in water you able to see the fruits of this effect so it took about four hits to take out the shark last time let's see if it does any major difference when trying to take him on right now oh boy I ever feel like oh well this is why I never go in the ocean number two is the sea cow what not impressed okay that's fine actual number two over here is the hermit cube which you can be found on beaches which you can be found in anyways we respond in one right now so you can see what it looks like look at this pretty little baby oh my goodness moving about minding his own business they'll wander around on their own but the moment they're attacked that will actually run away from you which makes a lot of sense that I do the same thing when someone swings a sword at me but from time to time when you kill one you've got a chance at getting a special item from it it's shell the hermit whoa oh my gosh oh my word this is kind of horrified to be honest this is why I'm always told me never to become a hermit okay it's hideous I mean I mean I think it's a good look but you essentially where the shell whenever you hold it and when holding it you won't be attacked by hostile mobs see the husk you don't care you don't mess with hermit log that's it locked out a hermit permit that's yeah hermit does it was probably the better one mommy take off the shell he always interested you once again I can give you it it's my new home this is a sweet look I could see myself doing the catwalk with this mom number three is the catfish a very rare sight indeed normally cats don't like water should I stop try stop okay actual number three is the giant clam which can be found in shallow waters it's sad in the mouth they'll slowly turn it into a pearl here's one of the clams right right somewhere all hanging out right down here was good oh my gosh looks like a coin purse okay let's go ahead and get some sand in this shells mouth and let's see what happened get what's good baby honey honey honey captured the sand and look at it it slowly compresses it down beautiful until we're left with something quite special which is the sand block again it takes a little bit be patient give it enough time it will open up once again and you'll be able to get your hands on something quite special beautiful give it to your girlfriend or you know or boyfriend you know people like pearls and as expected you can turn this pearl into a lovely pearl necklace that you can give your girlfriend as well and so check this out when worn in your inventory you'll get both luck as well as haste which will allow you to not only mine faster but to improve the odds of loot you get when you find any nearby mineshaft chests jungle chests etc mob number four is the group groupers are massive fish that can change color from time to time and not only that but they've got the biggest mouth I mean seriously have you seen their Twitter they use this big mouth to inhale nearby fish almost like a turret oh my gosh yo you just ate all of those guys instantly let's go ahead and spawn a couple more so you can see that in action so check it out they'll use that turret ability to draw in nearby fish and consume them instantly as you can see the color swapping is happening literally right in front of a slowly changing color now if you were to manage to kill this creature you'll get his head as a drop sorry man nothing personal oh gosh grab it but with head in hand you've got a very special ability it's the very same one the grouper had simply right-click to draw nearby items entities mobs etc towards you it's almost like a hook shot you could say but there is one caveat to this special feature it will not work if you happen to be on land right clicking does nothing here so sad guys but the moment you touch base in that water well you can bring any nearby in this case victims towards you let's go baby yeah ha ha ha pleasant behold two at once no one will try and shake your hand 6 feet apart well you can like machine gun dish I'm literally just holding down right click oh my gosh biggest mouth in the world mob number five is awesome y'all ready for this it's the seahorse yes everyone's been waiting for this thing to be added to Minecraft I had to it's on the map but what do you want from me alright actual mob number five is the whale massive creatures that will spawn in in your oceans now it's worth noting I'm not condoning actually hunting whales whales are protected species all you gamers out there that typically whale hunt bad bad boy bad girl don't do it but it's minecraft okay we're playing video games so we're gonna go ahead and just kill this sucker yo check it out yo you suck where's guy where's whale now what's interesting about the whale is once you defeat it and you get rid of all of its hearts its eyes will turn into well you'll see in just a second here it's essentially dead in the water look at that and it will slowly float to the top of the ocean its carcass will stay there for about a minute unless you bring your trusty whale knife which you can make with a stick and a single iron ingot from there what you'll want to do is oh boy oh boy they're monetized you can carve out the whale getting very different items from the whale meat blubber and bones until the carcass is completely gone man this feels like frog look I video games get over it now we've killed another whale over there first thing to say so you can see if it explodes but we've got a few different items of the set bones those are just bones we've got raw whale meat which you can cook inside of a furnace in order to get cooked well meat which is the food source and then more importantly we've got whale blubber as well I'll show you what that does in a second I want to see this thing okay but anyways blubber can be made into torches using the string as a wick alongside a single piece of stick to get eight torches that's a heck of a deal to be perfectly honest with you what do you think about it dude right come on oh there it is oh that's anticlimactic on next mob is the dogfish number six is the Stingray these things are passive creatures found in the open ocean and they won't really mess with you unless you happen to get right behind them because then you're prone to get stung by the stinger stingrays Stinger this is sting great band okay but killing one of these things and you'll get something quite special for you all trouble y'all ready check it out we got our hands on some barbed stingers a brand new item that you could use as a weapon at least in some form or another allow me to show you we're gonna spawn in a dummy here oh it's a cow that's mean attack it once check it out nasty poison not just low-level poison like real-deal poison like this will deal a lot of damage oh gosh bad very bad look at that it is just burning through that poor creeper I was a the poor creeper he's literally trying to blow me up although I did just start attacking him at after well I ain't fairness they try and attack me first all the time so how do I worry about it okay look here's the joke mob number 6 okay y'all are part of the joke now ready it's it's a where is he oh it's a bat right oh it's just a bat Caleb you're killing me curious if I can use the grouper head to bring the Stingray yup yup yup yup yup yup Oh sick too good look he can't get away from me if you try it we where'd he go oh hi wait can I use it to get the bat down here hey bat get on there now oh now how close you have to be oh oh this is the worst video I'm not a bad person I'm not I've not told me editor that off camera is fine she believes me okay Jenna I get the feeling this is why Mojang stated in the past that they're not gonna add things like sharks and such to Minecraft because they don't want to encourage the killing of them although why do they make us kill any mobs for that matter anyways that's too deep thinking for today's video nothing like yet thanks number seven is the angler fish angler fish your new mob but live in the lower depths of the ocean they'll use their light bulb like angler placed on the front of their head to Lauren and mesmerized nearby prey if you get too close to this thing namely if you get in front of it he'll literally take a bite out of you so let's see if we can whoa what what am i unappealing I feel insulted right now eat me eat me come on hi okay there we go alright I got what I wanted now we get to kill you I don't feel bad about it either upon dead you'll get an angler fish bulb so from time to time travel in packs look at those chompers that's the first time I got a good look at it oh my gosh now when it comes to angler fish spawn mechanics there's you know something worth noting here well they generally like to stay horizontal sometimes you will find them at a strange angling oh man using a fishing rod as well as your angler fish bulb you can create a bulb on a stick and this has extremely useful combat purposes first of all you got a sick particle effect on you at all times but when holding it all nearby mobs will be mesmerised by the light I don't know what I did there anyways we're gonna summon in a couple of hostile dummies right here another hostile dummy a shooty dummy a very interesting choice of name there oh he is on fire but look hold this down and they all instantly stay but they'll continue to look at you because hey like I said they're mesmerized by the light blinded by the light you can say pretty sure that's like a song check it out the moment you let go of this they'll once again come for you you could even in theory use this for some very interesting gravitational effects yeah oh I messed it up oh yeah yeah literally frozen in place can I go underneath you nice yo sick he's the worst ha ha ha you suck oh man that's really useful tool pretty overpowered to be perfectly honest with you but hey that's what makes these things fun love the particle effect their minds are literally blown it's no wonder they're always looking for brains get away from me you've made me do this I Michelle Michelle's not working oh it's the saddest story get away from me Caleb you betrayed me before we get to our final ocean mob some honorable mentions for the cream cheese mob jokes that we included here before that I almost didn't include you to critique the Futuna aka the chicken of the sea naturally of course the spider crab and the final joke mob the big fish is just Pig yep but the real final ocean mob today are jelly cubes number 8 they float around the water like you might expect but they don't have too much self movement abilities let me show you one jelly cubes are just a fancy name for jellyfish in Minecraft look at these lovely creatures oh my gosh I mean they move a little bit but for the most part not really the case now don't get too close oh yeah yeah that gives a lot of damage I did not realise I'd be in that much of a threat usually when I make PB and J's okay they're delicious now killing one of these nasty dirties will award you with a special drop which I'm gonna get my hands on right now get back well he is fast you gotta stay me like that play these games oh my goodness yo you gotta have oh my gosh he's he's like literally disappearing from my sight you got to make quick work of this sucker if you want it actually I got the grouper head what am I do it worst day of my life check it out come on close honey honey honey oh you suck get yeah we got our hands on something special jelly slime you can add jelly slime to leather armor to turn it in two glowing leather when in a conveniently located cave like the one right here you will literally begin to blow check it out the glow doesn't provide light but hey you're glowing which means that if you're on a multiplayer world your friends will be able to locate you at a moment's notice they'll be able to glow Kate yeah
