15 Updates that Should be in Minecraft 1.16 (Comments to Crafting)

today we cover 15 special updates that should have made it into Minecraft 1.6 teens nether up tea in the form of some special crafting risk from the ability to craft armor for your lava walking pet Striders two special gold-plated blocks that come with their own unique abilities look if I were you I'd be keeping all of my items in a nether I plated shulker box but that's just me to leave us some more nether recipes in the comment section below we might turn them into working updates for now though we start today with number one the debris detector suggested by two rich tech 15 a lot of custom channel members not bad dude this special device will require you to get three nether right ingots a single redstone dust as well as a compass in order to make your nether eight magnet and what does it do well it helps you find more nether right kind of in the form of ancient debris x' dropping this magnet on the ground will cause a series of green flames to essentially light up the nearest ancient debris so that you can add a moment's notice - and collect it so we've mined all three ancient debris dropping again will once again change the trajectory in which these flames will go and if you follow them for far enough you'll be able to find the next set of ancient debris x' nearby for now though I'm gonna go ahead just take its way however constantly dropping the magnet on the ground leaves it prone to shattering and so once you've dropped it five times it will eventually break on its own so keep that in mind when you are placing on the ground because without that you'd have a lot more trouble finding your debris alright number two here is the Gilder this one was suggested by Alicia G and it allows you to combine you our armor white gold so you don't angry the piglets and what I think she meant to say was it'll allow you to combine your armor with gold so that you don't angry the piglets and it is a sweet recipe indeed first of all check out this Gilder you're gonna need one smithing table and you're gonna want to surround it with four gold ingots with that in hand though you've got a very very very expensive block don't mess around with it too much we're gonna go and place it down right here and as you can see here we already have a whole mess of particle effects coming right drop your army nearby to guilt it its border will change it to gold mmm free armor trimming anybody allow me to demonstrate ooh grab some of these goodies baby check this out drop it nearby y'all's ready ha ha well the armor maybe not the weaponry but either way we're gonna go ahead and drop that down and you can actually make out that there is now a slight gilding on the armor itself both for the diamond as well as the iron we're gonna go and put that on and look at me yo fresh to death I I thought it might work with the nether ice sword but I guess it doesn't that's okay check this out yo ho yo a do-nothing si yo yeah it was good baby mm-hmm you see he doesn't bother normally you would only not be attacked by piglets if you had on gold armor of some sort instead you can now guild your diamond gear so that you can get the ultimate defensive capabilities without any of the problems now the moment you attack the piglets they will go back to being mad at you it makes enough sense that number 3 here is the nether rod suggested by loud as a channel member Max Weber great like a normal fishing rod but with blaze rods instead of sticks and another writing the special rod will let you catch alternative fish only found in lava so grab your nether right fishing rod and then make your way over to 8 nearby lava pools so that you can get your hands on either the nether spear fish with fire aspect 10 or a nether rock fish and we'll go over what those do in just a second here for now we're gonna go ahead and fish away and look at that we already got our hands on another rock fish so the nether rock fish will allow you to eat it and you'll be given 20 seconds of fire resistance 5 in return for your trouble you know in terms of how it tastes it's alright we keep getting rock fish all good let's see if we can get our hands on one of these other ones though with any luck we're gonna grab oh my gosh these other fish are apparently very rare all we're getting is rock fish right now there we go another spear fish this is essentially a a weapon we've got a victim right here that we're gonna go ahead and bring into play yo light it up baby now if you didn't realize because it got fire aspect 10 the amount of time that the sheep or mob in question will and fire is dramatically increased compared if you only had I don't know a fire aspect one or two weapons so grab one of these and get your marshmallows ready and before is the nether right shulker box just by another channel member its jacob haish ogre box that doesn't burn in lava yes please Oh beautiful in order to make this you'll just need a shocker box as well as another right ingot and you'll actually craft this one you could maybe in a future update use it in the smithing table but for now we're gonna just go ahead and get our hands on it right here and with that in hand well as you can see here regular choker boxes they will burn in lava you see so sad sad a story now the nether at Joker box well it's completely different store it's a happy story check it out check it out check it it's got wood on the bottom interesting choice now when it's in heated form you can't place or open it see I'm trying to right-click not working instead to fix it up you're gonna need to place it inside of a smithing table alongside a water bottle and then once you've done that you can cool down your nether right chauffeur box in question place it down as you please and then you can grab all your goodies I'm curious what was in the one that we didn't open up let me see ah Wow such variety yes number 5 is the glow shroom helmet shadow member the animatronic girl entertainment and if you're shroom light helmet putting on this helmet will give you not only fire resistance the moment you place it y'all ready check it out infinite fire assistance but you'll also get a light that follows you around at all times look at this it's like literally being illuminated by nothing if I would remove this thing you'd see that it is nowhere near as light as it was so scary dear but I'm not sure why and it's no longer scary yes always add more mining helmets I mean why not number six is a golden beacon chuk yuen coming in with the good suggestions as a beacon made out of gold which will attract piglets to it they'll be useful for making things like pigs and trading halls an interesting concept indeed in order to make it you'll need to make a normal beacon recipe but instead of obsidian you'll use blocks of gold at the bottom to get your golden beak allow me to demonstrate we're gonna go ahead and place this beacon down right on the center here and out of nowhere well you'll see a couple different things happening namely not only do these guys have some gilded gear on them but more importantly they love the heck out of this beacon well at least two of them did but hey that's pretty good odds now because it's missing the strength and durability of obsidian blocks you can't actually use this to cause any lights to illuminate but all the same you can't use it to attract all the pigs you could ever want nearby so speaking of BBQs now might be the best time you ever could ask for see what you guys looking at can I yeah it was good Oh probably not a good idea to be honest please if you kill me I will be so absolutely yeah anyways number seven is the Strider Armour suggested by Izzy Tomioka all types of Strider armor saddle in the middle and surround it with diamonds same as for the others well let's see what the final recipe came out to well exactly that four diamonds one saddle Strider armor your Strider will not have capabilities for extra resistance added at a moment's notice place down a Strider or find one if you're not a cheater because you know they spawn in the nether there you can actually put look at him oh he's the cutest I mean he still actually kind of hideous to be honest but maybe he'll be friendly looking when he's in the lava that would be my guess yeah yeah get we can we safely get off oh gosh not safely but hey you know these things happen sometime probably should have eaten the rockfish would have been a good idea man I put your I put you back in the lava so that you wouldn't start freezing geez you're killing me right now Jones I don't know why I called you that anyways yeah I mean it's straighter armor it makes them look sorry man number eights the anti lava chess blade suggested by Lamar so 350 pushes lava that is close to you in a big area an interesting concept indeed to make it you'll need blue ice as well as a blast furnace and just like that you'll have your lava repulsion chess plate what an interesting concept we've got here very curious about it it looks pretty interesting as well okay well like a cat to a creeper when you wear this chest plate love it won't talk you right go ahead and walk through the lava wall okay let's do it ooh ooh oh wow hold on Wow very cool Wow literally super cool holy moley yo I like that that's really sweet actually you can just jump around and because you've got lob resistance just in the event that you see let me look at that sick oh yeah we got to go to like a lava pool somewhere else one hole yeah now this makes me kind of nervous because if what I think is gonna happen happens we're literally just gonna keep falling let's Oh yo y'all but hold on we're legit hanging out at the bottom of the lava ocean this might be the new best way combined with the nether right magnet to find all of the ancient debris you could ever want now you're in a lot of trouble if you want to try and swim back up but you know it's uh pick and choose your battles you know what I'm saying I guess I suppose you could in theory just you know take the armor off but that'd be you know one quick way to die you see let's yup yup yup yup oh gosh I don't think that us never nines a new look at an old friend the magma cube this was suggested by a channel member one for seven true do one four seven and I have no idea what this first few letters say but it's either way crafted magma cubes will allow you to tame magma cubes essentially and they'll be friendly towards anyone that creates to make it you'll just need eight magma creams in one single gas - so sad guys five likes to get your crafted magma cube and just like that these guys are automatically tamed when you spawn them in never mind that wolf you just saw but look look he loves he loves he's hanging out you know you gonna come follow ya hold on a second here's the really cool thing the defend you against hostile mobs so go go get it baby yeah yeah bounce it well by bouncy I mean not really bouncy we'd certainly have limitations when it comes to taming magma cubes but the premise there is all that matters you now have a friend it's gonna be looking out at a moment's notice you'll get him come on Fido I know he's the worst get yeah he's not - there we go yeah much better are you little jump on him here put push kill him oh gosh well man's best friend indeed number 10 is the piglet shield this was suggested by Daniel plays the wrist slash golden wristband crafted using gold and leather the one that the piglet brute uses in the recent snapshots well let's see how it came out simple enough gold ingots a couple pieces of leather grab your penguin shield Junior this puppy looks when it's on your arm beautiful you put in your offhand slop main hand we're gonna keep it in the off hand for now and the beautiful part is when you're hunting down Hoglund you can wear this to have your knock-back reduced significantly so allow me to demonstrate very quickly what that is going to look like with it in our offhand slot as you can see here they essentially don't knock us back at all now let's not wear it on yes significantly different compared to with it on your offhand slot like like night and day essentially oh my god this guy's can we and it even gives you some defensive bonuses as well you saw us taking a lot less damage when we had this in I've had slot so this is going to be invaluable for collecting Hoglund hides which is just leather and hugging me which I believe it's just pork chops but you know that easy to have uses elsewhere and I got to say it looks pretty freakin sweet as well number eleven is the beast collar suggested by dr. pepper gaming great soda by the way this will make soglin's your pet and it does even more than that recipe simple enough and by simple I mean very complicated to iron bars one neither I ting get to know the right scraps both warped and Crimson fungus as well as a single piece of leather to get your beast collar using this on azog line will allow you to tame it ah ha ha see subtly we good we friends what's more you can actually I well ok get a little too close at least you can look at them nice and safely now again though it even works with some other creatures including the hoglets so why don't we go ahead yes nice and tamed beautiful hanging out with me not bad what's more you can even ride the creature by placing some of that strider armor from before right on top of it never mind the fact that it looks like there's an invisible strider with the armor on being automatically teleported to the center of this hog it's definitely not let's Avenue yo we're riding the hog good ok just don't ask you questions we're doing the best we can number 12 the Crimson fungus on a stick I'm surprised this isn't actually in gaming this was suggested by mr. mutant piglet whitey this item will allow you to write a Hoglund just like a Strider in order to make it you'll need fishing rod and Crimson fungus right makes enough sense using this crimson fungus on a stick we can now control the direction in which the Hoglund works and yeah again never mind the fact that there is a invisible Strider being teleported cuz that's definitely not what's happening and so that you could use both the warp fungus as well as the Crimson fungus the idea here is that in theory if we didn't have to do all the command block trickery it would be much more easy for you to control your brand new pet steed Sally or rather large you know pig and he's loud though can we can we take it easy dude seriously bad news hungry here's a fun one number 13s the nether I bow justify member shadow wolf whitey for this one you're actually gonna need a smithing table as well as nether I didn't get and a plain old regular old bow go ahead drop these guys in as you might normally expect and also put them this direction instead and you'll be able to get a bow that has been decked out with a nice nether right coating haha now their bows are much stronger than regular bows we're gonna try them out on some hog lands and some golems and not only that but it's important and worth noting you can use it to burn entities even though there's no enchantment on it so I'm gonna go ahead and place down a new iron golem friend we're gonna maintain a safe distance because I know he's gonna come for me real good oh oh they killed my bit you monster Wow yo that thing is so strong you must be joking me we managed it look at that whoa pretty much go rapid fire hold on easy Wow Wow without even really needing to charge up the whoa he do he knocked the arrow he literally knocked the arrow upwards with his tusks instead this bow is insanely powerful like I said yeah I don't know if you realize this but iron golems I believe they've got 100 hearts of health so the fact that we can take this golem out with legit like two to three arrows kind of absurd I believe it's only two arrows in fact we kind of got goofed up with the fire causing damage right as we were trying to attack him with the bow so let's see yeah to hit wonder beautiful you're not gonna leave base without this bow number 14 is the transformation potion suggested by clembot nollie and this will potion that will turn a piglet into a Hoglund in order to make it you're gonna need a glass bottle some crimson fungus as well as some green dye and just like that you've got your piglet mutation potion say that five times fast throw this strange chemical on pig lines and they will transform into hoglets so don't mind if I do see this is what happens when you keep taking my gilded armor yo ho what's good and so as you can see here the chemical effect has began to take place and in a moment's notice we're going to see this poor soul turn into a Hoglund III probably stay away yes that's why I have the bow ooh cooked and the final recipe for today the nether right shield number 15 suggested by vicious creative nether right shield in a smithing table okay easy enough grab another right ingot of course grab yourself a shield combine them to go with the smithing table in order to make your nether right shield look at this thing very very fancy very very nether right a very durable shield it can even withstand a TNT explosion if there is TNT nearby so what we're going to do is someone in a mob and as you're gonna see right now look it's no problem I well I mean this shield still gets messed up by you know an axe being attacked but you know these things happen from time to time you just stay away mister make yourself like three times but more importantly we're gonna sit down just TNT light it up hold down the shield check this out oh right it's so heavy in fact that you need to hold it in your main hand slot and once you do that and
