We RECREATED the Creeper 5 Different Ways from scratch

what up guys today we're recreating one of Minecrafts most iconic mobs the creeper that's right from the ground up Oh also we're doing it five different times with five different developers that's right five chances to see what the creeper could have been in someone else's hands vote for your favorite creeper in the comment section and let us know what mob we should remake next for now my friend it's your turn to go all right we kick things off with blue Commander's creeper this new creeper has a brand new look and involves visiting the players home at night allow me to temporarily show you what he looks like for the time being look at this creeper oh boy he's a mess he's a horned wonder ooh and he heads to your house to steal your goodies at night easy does it man yo he came loose do you jump that sign hi all right so let's simulate running into one of these creepers in-game gun ourselves a night vision potion it's at night and that my friends is because the creeper will only spawn in when you've gone to sleep why well because they try and sneak into your house while you're sleeping to steal your various chests check out what we got in here food armor bow we got potions in there some rare stuff in there and a lot of gold let's head to sleep for the time being so you can see what happens look at the text down here you sleep restlessly do you hear that a creeper broken oh no and look ya'll ready he's gonna steal it he just stole the chest and not only that but he summons an minions to take care of you along the way they come with their own new drop known as repeal gel but for the time being we're gonna have to take out this creeper look at him look at this mess he's literally holding the chest right now and trying to take it from me it's okay though we're gonna kill him real good now these many guys are actually pretty strong never mind I was killing him so fast before it's because I had a strength they will deal pretty decent damage to you but they're mainly a distraction while the main creeper gets away look at him he ain't even looking back you don't want this creeper to get too far away from your home because if they do they will actually blow up we've managed to keep one of the original mechanics of the creeper in play not only that but every single time you attack this creeper you'll be dealt additional damage as you can see we're about to get worked dude there's too many of these things oh my gosh and I gotta say can we oh yes thank you thank you thank you so we're gonna have to use repel gel on one of them can we just stay yes the repel gel should keep them mostly away please oh the creepers actually got a decent amount of damage done to him can we oh yeah yeah in addition every single time you hit the main creeper you may notice something very unique appearing from his body but I highly first y'all ready check it out you see he left a little something something in the grass bio so I'll show you again die it's this right there that is a very special line of redstone and this is the new way you get gunpowder from this creeper since we've had to design a new way to get gunpowder now we are almost out of blocks before this guy blows up and I am NOT trying to lose oh well soon I guess Oh God you still alive dang this is terrible look he literally stole the chest okay there's another one over here Yoho come back for more huh he doesn't want the chest now he just wants vengeance die die we killed him and he dropped a chest of his own curious what's inside ooh it's all the stuff that the previous one took look at that he still had it on him sneaky you may have also noticed we got something called creepers horns these are a special new helmet slot item you can wear it by right-clicking and then you've got a whole mess of horns all up on your head they provide you with 100% knock-back resistance so if I were to attack OOP so if I rode attack the spider you'd notice I will not get knocked back at all you'll just continue to die stops it was good baby yo can't do nothing to me hey let's show you what repel gel does the other drop you get from the meanings throw it had a mob and look what happens they get repelled and gelled and they get thrown into the air and presumably after enough of them they well I assume die but hey you can use it on items as well to launch the items into the sky tell me didn't love that look at the try again oh and gotta go try again oh man yo yo you can play like a mini game with this it's almost like trying to keep the balloon up whoa yo just draw a whole bunch items okay let's see what happens when I throw these I am oh yeah it's a party today look we're just juggling all the items this is cool but I think my friends it's time for our next creeper next we check out miles creeper and they look a little more close to the creepers you are used to hello the oh boy Oh whoo he's looking a little hungry no I ain't trying to watch you eat it's no problem these creepers are passive and they spawn in the day mainly in fields feasting on any nearby sugarcane seriously these guys go to town on any nearby shirt okay no no and that's all yours to that point though you can also breed them sugarcane by right-clicking them and look yo he's keen he's like yeah oh I see you've got the goods now with any luck sometimes it takes a handful of sugar canes in order to you know get them right get him proper so do you think yeah oh whoa ultimate mating dance and log a little baby oh gosh it's literally hideous what are you even supposed to be the ultimate derp eyes oh he heard me he got his feelings hurt come back buddy hard to tell what he wants or what he's made of it kind of looks like he's made of gravel so I can't really speak to the fact that he's got blocks for hands but you know that's okay oh where you going buddy he's got a mission I'm a punch on him yeah yeah and I don't know why I so K you want to shoot your king no okay baby creepers take about three minutes to grow so with any luck unless that's the one right there with the baby go there you are hey you're gonna grow here eat some when you punch him it's funny its head kind of bounces around first things first you can milk these creepers what do you get you get creeper milk for your trouble drinking it gives you a special effect known as hey we got a haste to which makes us way faster at gathering blocks even faster by tools but a meal ooh ooh way faster keep in mind this is not an enchanted shovel at all now it is yo way faster with a Steph egg this is beautiful and not only that there's more to this creeper than just his milk and it's good looks oh my word there's also creeper flesh which you can eat if you eat it you get a nice speed boost you got a 1 minute speed 3 boost to just travel around milking any other nearby creepers oh my gosh we are on a mission bay B keep in mind drinking the milk will kill your speed boost and replace it with haste so you better have some extra flesh on you if you're trying to get that speed on baby but okay how do you get gunpowder well miles is opted to implement the gunpowder by cooking charcoal with charcoal we don't need to cook it with charcoal necessarily but you do need to cook charcoal because that is what's gonna turn into your gunpowder finally if I'm not mistaken I believe you could still blow them up yup for creeper number 3 we check out ambiguous chameleons iteration ah mining we know it all too well yes it's so true it is minecraft dig a hole 5 cave score some more leap over lava all while Bop and baddies on the way no big deal right well that's much changed according to these signs our old friend mr. creeper has decided to abandon the surface world and migrate to the depths of the earth ooh boy sounds promising mm-hmm there he's undergone a transformation that makes him more of a threat than ever ba-bum introducing oh the suspense is killing me can we get a drum roll up in here is it down here ooh introducing the chameleon creeper spooky lightning crash hey thanks Aaron that's a glimpse of some of these creepers notice every time we look at them they instantly turn a little bit transparent but these are chameleon creepers indeed blending into their environment whichever block they happen to be in front of ooh there's the default right there I'm onto you baby these Trixie guys can only be found at y equals 40 or lower and they'll keep you on your toes while you're mining they take on the form of whatever block they happen to be standing on so as you can see we've got some mossy cobble creepers some cobble stones some regular stone by default they don't have any texture at all so if they're on grass that's what you'll see but check these out all over unfortunately this is the easiest way to show them off red stone and iron creeper coal creepers of city and creeper behind me there's even chiseled stone brick creepers my goodness it just keeps going the diamond creeper a rarity indeed oh he's gone let's head to the chameleon creeper battle arena find out more it's worth noting that if these creepers manage to sneak behind you they'll perform a backstab attack which will paralyze you and damage you as well as leave you open to any future explosions not only that but there's some special loot we can get from battling one of these guys but let's activate baby yay yay stay away mister so check it out notice that he takes on the shape of numerous different types of blocks the moment he steps on him oh my goodness whoo Oh stupendous I love it I actually love it this is really cool now you can't attack him still even when he goes invisible mode but you'll definitely want to kite this creeper around so the creeper does not you know blow up on you now you can't still kill it and look what you get in return phase matter OOP lusts we got some loot over here hello Oh which means they no longer drop gunpowder and if you're gonna want to get your hands on some gunpowder you'll need glowstone dust blaze powder and a charcoal to make it so it just got way way more expensive but if you manage to elect eight total face matter which will take a little bit is there's only a 20% chance of getting one when you kill a creeper you better craft yourself the danger cloak ooh so I'll throw eight of these onto an anvil just like that oh yes baby what are we doing here witness yes the danger cloak nice imma put it on yo check me out yeah I'm hot this is semi-translucent click that alerts the wearer two enemies behind them as well as increasing your sneak speed so look when we're sneaking it mean it's a little faster let's see if we can show off some of these other powers an arrow of Destiny not bad when warned the sandy Club will alert you to any enemies that are behind you will sound off with particles and etc froze I have more difficult time getting the drop on you we already saw the sneak speed so now we're gonna quip the cloak turn our back against these quote gents now listen did you hear that try again yes every once in a while you're a nice little sound effect some nice little particles mm-hmm you can even see the particles coming off from in front of you so if they are right behind you you'll be able to notice very quickly hey stupid what's good Henry oh Henry isn't that a candy bar oh Henry anyways Derek Boris it's been nice we've got more creepers to look at alright next up we're in the Badlands to check out cables creeper aka the WASD build team check out this little guy he's a red creeper of destiny and truths and stuff but more importantly when he gets close to you he won't explode he'll jump to the air and seven in four extra T and T all around which will deal damage both to you and the creeper so be very careful when you get too close to this guy madness oh my gosh but he managed to kill this creeper you'll be given a special new reward item Wolf's more specifically part of one let's go ahead and take him out you got a go dude now with any luck now I didn't drop at that time but died whoa in the air nice and look he dropped the item we needed this time what is it well it's known as TNT totem charts here's a couple more of them they're a special new item you'll be able to get from killing this creeper we'll get to what these shards do in just a second but it is worth noting that this new creeper will only spawn in at y equals 80 or above on your height level so now we're down to 63 look at what happens we spotted a creeper down here instant death that's because these new creepers will only spawn in at that higher height level so once you've finished up at the hill and you've gotten a grand total of 90 and teetotum charge you can craft them all together to get something quite new it's known as the TNT totem look at this guy not bad I'll show you what it does in a second but for now the new gunpowder recipe in order to make gunpowder you're gonna need charcoal redstone dust as well as some bone meal an interesting combination of items indeed but hey you got to make gunpowder somehow I want to try something funny though we have a lot of creepers in here now since they don't blow up I'm curious to see what happens when we fall in here Oh oh my gosh well it looks like one made it out oh gosh well this is not good where am I holy moly that was a lot of different creepers all oh gosh yikes yeah I think started getting a little wonky with more than one in play I'm not gonna find the totem I lost ah aha so the TMT totem will actually keep you immune from any TNT damage that you happen across allow me to demonstrate exactly what I mean we've got an obsidian platform here and what we call do is load it up baby big on ups with it check it out and we're gonna stand right in the middle of this mess of TNT and look what happens we're gonna hold our totem of Destiny jagged uh a perfectly good on the TNT damage but oops it turns out you still think fall damage once more for good measure huh in trouble guys yeah maybe Wow a lot spawned and that was awesome but will it be as awesome as our final creep our final developer creeper takes us to the heart of the jungle and this one's courtesy of ICA K I'm cool yeah these are jungle camouflage creepers now I'm gonna show you exactly what I mean we're gonna press this button and then look as this creeper gets a little closer and closer he becomes less and then more visible until blows up right in front of you let me show you again look see get closer suddenly becomes more and more visible until a puff of black smoke appears and the creeper will show itself immediately look at that whew you got to kind of move away Frehley quickly otherwise the the camouflage effect doesn't seem to work as effectively but you can see when you get closer to this thing it starts to appear look at this creepy oh my gosh imagine if this is how you had to run into creepers oh wow no thanks but the moment you give away the camouflage it will remain uncloaked not only that but these creepers are faster than your normal creeper type so if they see you they're gonna run at you real quick oh my gosh please yeah good luck trying to kill him as well because it is oh boy yikes please please please look at them menacing my goodness at least he's stuck there you might be able to oh we can kill it from underneath fairly easily now unfortunately I see didn't get the memo and these guys still in fact do drop gunpowder but that's okay they dropped something else as well they drop an item known as a smoke bomb let's see if we can kill one of these guys real quick die die yeah and there it is the smoke bomb indeed so check this thing out you can actually throw it on the ground and look at that we're invisible so what can you do with it well other than going invisible you can use the smoke bomb to get away from any nearby trouble so I'm gonna grab a couple more of these guys and smoke bomb and all of a sudden he doesn't necessarily see that I'm here anymore so as long as you keep throwing these you've got an easy way of escaping from any nearby mobs all of a sudden invisible he's the worst sorry buddy sorry buddy can't do nothing ahead worst overall I think I like the style of this creep of the most an indivisible creeper that comes at you and rushes you and then appears and explodes but the real question can we get away from one of these creepers using one of our own smoke bombs it would appear to be the case oh maybe not but hey that's how it happens sometimes guys let
