[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hello you too but it's Chris here dance it is episode we're gonna be discussing my 187 piece EDC survival kit for those of you follow my channel regularly you know we love building survival kits we like experimenting with different builds and for anybody who's been watching this channel for any length of time this is probably our most used kit because it's our EDC pocket organizer survival kit this one is in my glove box every single day and that's actually on top of my normal EDC this provides me with some additional or backup everyday carry tools now with this particular build because it's such a lightweight mobile build it's designed to be highly highly transportable in mobile realistically for 96 to 72 hours all you need is water in some form of shelter now I wanted an excuse to bring a big knife now we had a bigger knife in a similar build we did but that knife was sitting on the hip and it was kind of uncomfortable this particular one is a chest rig that actually straps down extremely securely and it allows me to have a monstrous freaking knife now understand the carry system for this particular knife this could be any knife this could be a bk7 bk9 anything you need to but why I like this particular system it's not just the carry system but it's the actual pouch inside so as you can see it's actually chocked full of goodies so what was sitting in the pouch is we have my news for eating tool this is a three-in-one tool that gives me a fork and knife there's color reset basically but if full it's flat it's very similar to the outdoor edge child powell now if I'm in an urban environment or anything I have a silk kaki so I can access some water if I need to we have this [ __ ] kit which is a fill torture kit we have three of these in stock so I don't have to start being Tarzan and go ahead and start using leaves that I can't identify in Texas as of yet I have a first-aid kit this is just a little band-aid out - booboo kit this actually comes in my DFS micro plus a survival kit or do we have this fiber light this is also this is a fire steel that has a little striker in here this will start a fire with a willow well but because the reason I have it on my chest rig is because it has an emergency whistle that's extremely loud situation or flag someone down I've got at the ready I don't have to dig through the contents of my kit lastly because we live in southern Texas I wanted a thermometer but this has a thermometer and company's built-in we actually got this in a survival boxes and it happened to be pretty convenient now right on the outside of this kit there are a lot of goodies already built in on around this particular kit we have two blade tech Clips these are amazing - lets you securely use MOLLE webbing and attach it to your belt however if you don't have a belt on you in that particular instance we have a very very comfortable handle and on this handle we decided to put 25 feet of paracord built inside but we have some zip ties rigged up so we can snip it or cut it with scissors and be able to access this really really quickly if we need to but as we move to the front this is a patch but this is no ordinary patch this is a concealment patch from four supersu straps it actually has an escape-and-evasion kit but moving for we have a tinder zip and this has a flammable tinder inside the zipper however I find it to be using it I don't want to waste my zipper so we put a little bit of zip tie up here so we saw functionality of that zipper but because we live in a southern climate here in Texas which is a really really arid climate we have the hydro pack seeker which gives me a two litre water container that's very collapsible so if I find a water source I can pull this out and gather some water so I have something on me on the ready and additionally so we had some extra cordage I have this paracord bracelet gives me two extra feet of cordage now we're moving on into the meat potatoes of this particular kit we're gonna be breaking this all down section by section and just going like I said go through everything pretty quickly while we're diving into this kit my wife outdoor mama also has her Channel def ago show her some love and support down on the video Scripture she's gonna be creating a lot of new content here this year and we're really excited so if I go show her some of some encouragement by subscribing it to her today so the first section which is the back right here we're gonna touch on this we have another like I said another tinder zip right here now we have two emergency blankets one is kind of designated as the shelter emergency blanket and we have another one for just keeping my body warm or away from the elements if I need to so it's kind of a way for me to get a sleeping bag and a shelter and one without a lot for those who may not be knot-tying inclined we have some zip ties you can take things like acorns plant life any types of smooth rocks any type of seeded plants if you need to and use these as a nugget to create a base and you wrap this around and to help you create a nice integral lock onto your shelter so you're good to go asses but at least we have the military speed hook we got this exclusively from prepared survival we actually have one of these in our DFS micro survival kits but this is a spring-loaded hook system that is designed for the military back in the day to allow them to be able to get the hook caught in the fish's mouth more effectively to increase your chances of catching a fish and we took this out to prove the concept and we use this as the very first time to take my wife out fishing and after about three hours of her trying and casting and reeling just getting the hang of the whole system she acts at the end caught a fish so it was pretty awesome so moving on we definitely at least wanted some form of strong folding knife so this is the cold steel pocket Bushman this one is made in cts bd1 I do believe the updated model is in German 41 16 stainless steel but it's got the RAM safe lock which is extremely extremely strong the locking mechanism but I like this knife because you get the four and a half inch blade solid performing steel but it's like 35 bucks and then in the night time as far as security goes your number one security tool will end up being your flashlight so we have the O light s2 a baton it can spurt out 550 lumens but it takes two double-a batteries and the common use batteries is a good thing and furthermore I wanted some additional cordage you can never have too much quarters in a survival situation so this is 25 feet of tech Nora I got this from wazoo survival gear and pound per pound ounce for ounce this is the strongest cordage on the planet this little tiny freaking thread has a tensile strength or a tear strength very similar to paracord at 450 pounds now if I catch myself in a funky situation where I need or want fire tender I needed to make sure I have some useful waterproof fire tender on hand and these are some wack custom wax lipsticks from my brothers from another mother over at production hangar 51 they hooked us up with some awesome fire tender and they scraped really really easy they are super soft but they are impervious to the elements and these things light up like a Christmas tree at least in this particular section we have is this really super crazy thick piece of aluminum foil this is actually a custom sheet that is actually made by Walzer survival gear this is twice as thick as normal heavy-duty aluminum foil this stuff is really really crazy strong we also have another piece in here but we also have a 1 liter water bag in here in case my Hydra bucks here gets damaged or breaks I have a backup we also have water purification tablets built inside and some Ranger bands and not to be forgotten in the middle portion that really not a section is my hydro blue sidekick this is the meat potatoes of my water procurement in a shtf situation why I like this better than something like a life draw or assortment and water filter or any other pinch tall filter it's because it has a active carbonate filter inside so when it comes to gases diesels chemicals and fuels and things like that it'll help me filter those out plus we also have the 0.1 micron hollow fibers built inside as we move on to the full right side panel front and back inside the zipper compartment down in here I want to make a note that as you're going through this kit the whole preface of this kit is to hopefully give you guys a few ideas of something you may be considering to put it your kit and the fun part about these videos is to experiment with different builds and hopefully give you guys the viewers some food for thought as you build your own kids your own way so at risk of potentially forgetting this particular piece this is a little tiny zipper pool from Walzer survival gear this actually has a micro fishing kit built inside so I need to go ahead and get the big ole elephant out of the room yes this is the silky pocket boy and yes it fits inside I actually got that idea from my buddies over at production hangar 51 when they took 82 organizer kit and decided to stick this inside I'm like no way did you just fit a $30 super saw in here and we did we're able to fit the silky pocket boy in here just fine the benefit of having and five and a half inch saw is the fact that you can cut down some significant size branches for building a shelter or processing wood quick faster than a hurry now in this Altoids 10 right here that's not out toys we have a ranger band right here we can use this for starting a fire anything we need to because rubbers fundable but inside here we have five pieces of caffeine gum one single piece of caffeine gummy totes 100 milligrams of caffeine in for a three to four day period long as you can stay hydrated and a half caffeine you're pretty much gonna be able to move assuming you're not injured but we also have a bunch of different hooks swivels weights pencil sharpeners and artificial baits for fishing we can use in conjunction with our military speed hooks or provocated or we can build a fishing rig if we need to moving on I have the Leatherman surge this is probably the biggest baddest and beefiest freaking multi on the play it's got a big ol knife on here but I also have some pliers for every day carry type pass so I found myself I'm at work and I need a multi-tool I've got one hell of a multi-tool right here I got some Burt's Bees because one beeswax is one heck of a fire starter but I mean sometimes my lip just get chapped next you can definitely need and want multiple methods to start a fire so right here we have the big positronic lighter the reason why you like this is because it's a waterproof lighter it's not wind proof but being able to fight off one of those nasty elements that flame does not like is a good thing to coincide with my to a baton we have an a spare set of double-a batteries so if my batteries die or they go faulty we can swap them out and keep ourselves running in nighttime operations if we need to this is the XO Tec nano spark and this thing is super powerful super reliable when you love it however we can also strip some five-ten dirt down inside and we have a few packs built in they're gone down the list we have the spark construct because I need to be able to keep my tools in check and I will be able to do my sawtooth blades or my knife if I need to in the field with the carbide teeth and the scraper right here we have a bottle opener I don't know it just built them to the kit realistically I mean that's more EDC if you have something you want to open and then it's got a really good fair rod right here scrape sparks it'll get me covered so in that bottom pouch we actually have my cooking utensils or my stove essentially so this is the Ember lint stove fire ant in titanium and this is why I like it 2.7 ounces and 1/4 inch thick that folds out to a nice full size stove that can hold I think up to 4 pounds so you could put one heck of a pot on here if you needed to now down in here we have some additional tin foil but right in here oil this one is just some extra heavy duty tin foil but this is one of those 88 cents and a 5 pack meat loaf pans and this will help me have a makeshift pot on the fly if I need to if I'm at an emergency the fact that I have a cup to drink out of I have a pot to boil water and I could cook some small fish or food in here if I need to just really really makes things a lot more convenient now I want to mention that I really tried really hard to fit a bear bowl in there however it doesn't fit so hopefully if bare-minimum sees this video it makes it kind of a smaller version like just live a smaller I could fit a folding pot in that bad boy but all in all that is they break down on my 187 piece EDC organizer pocket survival kit and we find for everyday carry for urban and survival use we feel this is a pretty comprehensive kit we love to hear what you think so we definitely want you to drop that in the comments let me know what you think about this kit overall additionally if there's things that you would take out swap out or add definite leave constructive criticism down in the comments below if I don't know if you want to learn anything more about these individual items we're definitely have links down in the video description but that's about it for now and if you enjoyed a near episode of my breakdown of my 187 piece EDC we're gonna have a kid dip salute this video a big thumbs up and show this out with your friends and family in your social media networks so we keep growing thriving and making awesome videos for you guys but that is about it for now hope you guys have it I'm suit wonderful day I'm out [Music] you
