you know there's just certain items that we use everyday just things that just come into play or use them regularly and so what we're going to talk about today is pocket organizers something you carry with you on an EDC that you don't necessarily want to carry in your pocket but you can slip into your pocket if you want to have a little bit of extra and so we have three little pouches here and some of the best little organizers that I know or Maxpedition you know I really am a big fan of Maxpedition and so these are three little pouches this starts out with the micro organizer this is the mini organizer and then we have the skinny organizer there's also a chubby and I have had that one I actually gave it to one of my buddies but they're just great ways to have just that extra boost before we get into the contents of the organizers of course this is in lieu of your EDC and this is one of the hell-bent leather billfolds and I usually keep some cash stashed right here which is really could be very critical this is the zero tolerance 562 CF here I have one of the copper Olight s1 batons this is the BCM chronograph watch I've been carrying the key bar for a long time I still love it but I'm trying out the key smart right now my bull leather belt from Dell tech force calm this is awesome and of course my Glock 36 with the Wheaton arms carolina carry package jackson leather work inside the waistband holster superb and hopefully that answers the questions of my EDC now let me preface this by saying I'm not recommending that you carry all three of these this just whatever suits your needs you know what you need to carry sometimes you may just have a few simple items that you want to carry and then you can just move up to larger and larger and of course you know the sky's the limit when it comes to these this is again the skinny organizer it's four inches by two inches by eight inches then we have the mini organizer and it is 4 inches by 1 inch by 6 inches and then we have the micro organizer which is three and a half inches by one inch by five and a half inches all three have pockets on the front the mini and the skinny have a h-field here for hook-and-loop field and also they have MOLLE webbing or pals webbing attachments or capability on the back the micro only has this front little sleeve but it just has the logo no patch plane on the back now each one does have a grab handle which makes it really nice to be able just to pick up so you don't have to attach these you can actually just have these in your pack but they're really made for your pocket made for cargo pocket I will say that the micro fits perfectly in a cargo pocket you get to the mini it actually sticks out a little bit unless you have really deep pockets with your standard pockets this usually just sticks out just a touch and of course with the skinny this is pretty large and it has a lot to do with the way you pack it I mean the skinny is not so skinny I mean I pack this thing full now let's check out the micro first has one zipper it is a paracord pull they are YKK zippers it opens up into a clamshell which really allows you to get to your gear there are two main pouches here and here where you can fit things like pads have a write naren pad here and I have one of the little notebooks can put one of the spiral and then a small little pen whatever choice you have and then of course here at the front you have elastic bands that are going to retain whatever you want to put in here now what I love about this is I can just open it up I see what I need and I can get right to it and it just makes it really simple I do have a small light that I like to attach to this little loop and this way you know you can take this off pretty easily but it is always right here where I can grab it now this is great also for keys as you can see here it's a little bit of a larger elastic loop here so I have some tylenol and I have one of the little Griffin tools and then I have a lighter now I'm big on having extra fire and then I have one of the small little numerators in this little bit lighter my buddy down at going gear actually produces these and great little fire source one of the things that I really like to have is a way to make fire and fire is very important in a survival situation for a number of reasons also I like to keep an extra battery now this battery which doesn't fit this and I might would keep a flashlight in here as well a little bit of a larger flashlight but considering I do have my EDC I'm not so concerned about it in this little pouch here here is my chapstick and I have another have a little firesteel it's real small so I can just keep it you know handy and then I have just a made-up little first-aid kit and this is just some band-aids some antibiotic ointment and some Advil of course I've got it right here as well which really I don't really need this I could probably supplement this with a bigger pocket knife and that's probably what I would do one thing that I do keep always and all my packs is a little bit of cotton ball and Vaseline this is the best firestarter as far as cheap inexpensive easy to do and this stuff just burns terrifically and so and you can put a little ziploc bag and it keeps it fresh to be honest this could fit some more materials I mean there's different gear that I could put in here very easily because one of the things about these zippers they are self lubricating and they do hold up very well and I'm not afraid to really pack these for now here's the mini it has double YKK zippers with paracord poles and that really allows you to get it from any angle now the mini has a thousand 50 denier which the micro only has 800 in it so it's going to be a little bit actually a little more pliable but this is going to have a little more strength one of the big things about Maxpedition is everything is seamed and double stitched and of course the Box edge stitching here and here and you can see the double stitching so all the stress points have been really taken care of and that's one of the big things I love about Maxpedition now of course it does have the pockets in the back and you know you can keep a lot of stuff organized here in the back especially larger items I have a little one of the field notes notebooks great when you're out and about I have a one of the larger new Mithila lighters this is again from going here great little lighter and you know it is with lighter just fill it with lighter fluid of course an extra battery from a flashlight and some chapstick again redundant fire-starting and of course and then I have one little Maxpedition folding knives excellent little knife and really easy to pack away right down here in the bottom of course is the ever-present cotton balls with Vaseline and you can see there are three elastic bands here that are sewn and then we have a large keeper right here and we have one of the keepers right here to attach items as well and then we have something for your keys that's actually dedicated with a little hook and I can take my standard keys put them like this stick them in here and stick this away and then keep retained my keys or put an extra key but really easy great easy to get to I have one of the larger Griffin tools these are excellent and of course a small battery for my little Oh light Chios and this is the i3 II really bright and just exceptional love a little Oh lights they just make excellent lights and for a small size this is great also this is a fire starter here and this is also from going gear and it is just a great little fire steel and has the little striker built in right here and then on the other side here I have a little Vaseline cotton ball I mean go figure but this is a great little spire starter that's kind of complete and together and I have one of the small Leatherman 's and this is the sidekick great little multi-tool down in here again got a little first-aid kit for all those little things that you might need nothing extravagant there is some goals in here but about the same for the first one but here we have a little different setup with the elastic we have a centerpiece so there's two larger loops here and then four on the front compared to the three on the front and then just the one on the back nice deep pocket and just a excellent little carrier and again very easy to just slip back in and everything's right here ready to go have a few more capabilities with this than I do with my little standard micro now we have the big boy this is the skinny organizer double paracord pull YKK zippers pulls all the way out and of course reveals a lot of room one of the big things that I've do differently with this is that I have my water filtration system water is really important your rule of threes and this renault beau trio is excellent another big difference is having an emergency space blanket I just have it crammed in here this is a really good one this is the SOL emergency space blankets a lot heavier than just a little mylar you know sheets really pretty much and this will give you a lot more got this of course it going gear great source have a couple of extra cr123 batteries from a light also I have a sharpener and use this it's just a field sharpeners from Gerber excellent little sharpener back here in the back I have one of the amp three and this is a little EDC med kit ant buried net great source for all your medical stuff I mean us any our doc has a great channel this is his company and really knows what he's doing he is a medical doctor do keep some paracord and with that I keep it in this configuration I'm going to keep it in a bracelet so it's my paracord bracelet put it in here but if I want to I can put it on my wrist gives me that paracord and it keeps it really organized and contained and then I have my multi-tool in here and this is one of the goat with the Gerber multi pliers it is a much larger multi-tool and so I can slide it in here because of the size of this bag and there is a zippered pocket back here that really makes it nice to put everything in there I don't actually close the zipper because I have so much stuff in there then I have one of the Oh light and this is the s10 our baton it is rechargeable then I have one of the small AOS I seven ARS you just pull this loose and the light comes on connect it and this is a great place to attach it right up here and I'll have to do is pull it off I have light and when I'm going to cut it off just reattach of course chapstick another little small new methylate ER and this is the small one great little light system and I have a bit lighter and I Bicks are just so dependable typically so I really love them but if I don't if I this happens something goes wrong with I have other ways to start fire now I have this small cord and that goes to this bastion charger so if I need my phone charge to have a battery backup or you know even my GoPro or something like that I can keep my batteries charged have two pens right here have a sharpie and a regular pen and then I have my bench made barrage which has been my EDC for a number of years I still bring it in often but you know if you've seen I do switch out but I really love the barrage and that lets us really look here you see the elastic band here it's a nice large loop and it has two sections here and then those are subdivided into two more sections then you have your elastic here which I had the water purifier in and then two large sections here and then smaller ones then with the pocket and with a small d-ring here that I can attach my keys and a small little hook so there's a ton of different options that you can do here and that's one of the things I love it's not just a little package throw everything in you actually organize it out now of course the pals webbing right here on the back that's Molly compatible you'll need to get some of the tack ties or you can get something else that will go with Molly attachments but these are great and I use these quite often I just happen to get this as a new set with these other organizers of course the great thing about Maxpedition is they are waterproof and I mean the water just slides right off and when you've got really expensive gear that's freely aboard it dry as a bone even after all that water now I highly recommend going gear for most of your EDC items they do a lot with flashlights with knives and just a lot of different things that you use every day going gear.com also you can check out their store down in Smyrna Georgia outside of Atlanta and they also offer a 10% discount using suits when you check out suit 0-0 and which always helps and free shipping over $49 you can go to the Maxpedition website and check out these little pouches and there is a whole lot more there at Maxpedition comm you can use suits 0-0 and you get ten percent off order which is really nice that's been going on for a long time and that's not just on your organizers that's on any of the Maxpedition items and baby they've got so much to choose from so I hope this kind of helped lead you in a little bit of a direction to get your items organized and get them ready for when you need them so the pocket organizers from Maxpedition thumbs way up be strong be a good courage god bless america long live the Republic and it's just you know great source Marshall I've been big love this just a great water filter system
