15 Updates we HOPE to see in Minecraft 1.16

the minecraft 1.16 nether update is still being attitude via snapshot so today's video we're checking out 15 updates we hope that we'll still you know potentially be added to the snapshot whether its new biome types that you can explore around and finding new blocks and new challenges brand new mobs that everyone is dying to see I mean look how adorable these little guys are or maybe something even more nefarious waiting for you on the other side or hey can we just get some boats that can swim in lava already anyways check these 15 out alright the first thing we hope to see in the nether updates a fan-favorite warped and crimson boats may die you might think using the new warped planks and put some planks found in the new nether update here's us doing it now warped boat beautiful if you were to try and take a regular old oak boat and you know swim in the nether with it well you'll have a bad time Oh get me out please Oh worst day of my life it's okay though we can just grab another one right here so check this puppy out go ahead and place it on and well you're still burning the boat though works just fine yeah highly recommend you drink some potion of fire resistance and then you get up in the bow and then you can move around Wow greatest day of my life and of course as I said it works not only for the Warped but as you might have guessed it works for the crimson planks as well with this crimson boat giving us a grand old time look at me yo going nuts oh boy yes alright moving on to number two warped and crimson mushrooms as well that's right not just the boats got an upgrade baby everyone's favorite type of cow with its big bulging eyes has now coming the medic check this out we've got everything we need right here cow spawn egg squeaked shears Bowl blue orchids we're starting the red ones first simple enough you just need to get a cow to appear in the nether you can do that by taking them through another party did a lot of things but look what happens to little Betsy when she stands on top of night Liam ultimate particle effects until you got a brand new friendly look with the biggest mushrooms in the world by the way can we just I would appreciate this behemoth of a wonder oh my gosh why are your eyes bulging so much either way you can do some very interesting things with this brand new crimson mushroom namely you can milk it of all of its stew right click you can get your hands on some crimson fungi stew pond drinking this stew up some interesting things happen well first of all you get weakness but you also get 30 seconds of fire resistance to balance that out you know because it's basically free fires you can hop right on into this lava nothing Bad's gonna happen so you gotta have a little bit of weakness I assume it's because you got a weak stomach and you can't handle it I mean you can till the pain it's fine we're not all capable of that you know it's a sad story really but you can also go ahead and shear away at this little mushroom to turn it right back into a cow once again worth noting though the cow will turn back into a crimson mushroom if you happen to keep the cow on my Liam again a similar story for the Warped nigh Liam with blue particles coming from this cow until the cow turns into hey get back on the nily 'm maybe it doesn't matter maybe it's been possessed you're gonna just keep no you got it go come on stop looking around like you ain't done nothing wrong get back on the table it's a good thing we got a whole bunch of these cows spawn eggs otherwise oh my goodness I want to take of the shoes do you mutt suit it so check it out Betsey here it's gonna turn into a warped mushroom and it works in a similar manner you can shear the cow and get some fungi for your fun old time or you can wait for it to turn right back into another warped cow once again and in a similar manner it will become a work mushroom once again now the blue ones work a little bit differently you'll have to feed the blue ones blue orchids first and once you've done that then you can use stew on them so that you can get your hands on some warped fungi stew which actually works a little bit differently from our crimson fungi stew upon eating this two things will happen you'll get nausea as well as resistance you'll actually get a defensive boost which is all perfect form or gas all over the place so that dealt far less damage than it normal may have however again to counterbalance you have nausea which again makes perfect sense we already talked about how weak your stomach really you can even get into breed with one another it's the most adorable little thing in the world baby they love each other oh my god guys please make love not war now if you've been following any of the developers of Minecraft on Twitter you've know that this temporary nether at recipe where you just add diamond tools and one another I'd hang it together to a crafting table is exactly that potentially temporary mmm-hmm now if you'll notice here in this little world we've got together that recipe has since been removed why well we'll get to it in the hot second it involves you know dropping down to our next area Oh oh gosh oh my goodness whoa where are we is pigs all over the place hoglets come on come on why does he mad at me I've got gold on this is what I wanted it all right away well can we breathe a little bit for number three the mom forest be careful hoglets and piglets spawn here putting this long sucker good boy from yeah that's right rotten ah see now I got that by hand hopefully the pigments leave me alone this is a mixture of both the Warped and the crimson forest it makes sense right red blue purple you know in primary colors I think those are primary colors right hey don't ask me any questions point is check it out nice purple variants for all these lovely things all over the place the occasional old mushroom still spawning in but really why not to me it makes perfect sense can we just not no I just even drop this is a rare variant of quartz that's exactly what it is it's number four on our list black quartz that's right and you can actually use this black quartz to do some very interesting things and to build some very interesting things here's an example of its spawning in in the nether right here so we've got a pickaxe gonna be able to mine this up you can get a nice little look at it nether black quartz fat flippin tastic all my gosh so beautiful black quartz I'd love to put it on the necklace why I look great with my eyes black is death I don't notice a look it's fine because over here instead of using it for pendant you can use it for decorative blocks see check it out that's what the science is so you know it's true imagine having black course that you can add to your bills pillars chiseled porch the decorative ones stairs you got it all Wow big boy on deck this could make for some really spooky builds I would love to see I think it would be fantastic it does have more distinct look than just coal blocks and charcoal so please remember what I was saying before about the fact that you can no longer craft nether right using a plain old crafting table that's because right over here we could see number five on our list which is a new type of crafting table the nether crafting table occasionally spawning in rarely in parts of the natum other recipes are exclusive to this table including the nether right that we were talking about look before as well as some new recipes that we'll get to in just a little bit you impatient fool now if you'll excuse me I'm actually gonna make some of this nether right gear because I am sick of being attacked by pigs all over the place and as you can see the recipe works just fine in this new another crafting table so it does add one extra layer of difficulty you can't just use a plain old crafting table to make this nether I gear you actually have to go and find one of these special corrupted crafting tables in your Minecraft netherworld so so there and you'll also need that crafting table for this next object the nether chest which is a special type of chest variant that you craft using black ports nether black cores to be exact eight netherrack and nether black quartz will get you one of these nether chests now I actually have one of them placed right here and it is a special chest indeed it comes with some unique powers this one is already set up and when set-up items dropped on death will be stored in and occasionally around the chest watch oh boy it's me Tyler I'm gonna kill myself dead get you tell now look if we were to head over to our special chest right over here you can see something very interesting no please stop attacking me the pigs oh I should put gold on some of the items we'll make it right on inside the rest the items will appear very close nearby so if you could just thank you gosh leave me alone worst guy it's basically a way for you to store your goodies or at least keep them in a place that's gonna be more accessible stop at a moment's notice the worst seriously they were the worst can we just he took my armor monster it's mine I gotta say it's a pretty cheap recipe - I'd like to kind of turn this into my regular chest I'm it's made of netherrack that's easier to find the hood turning to the channel is number Seven's scrap and steel which was actually suggestion made to us by one of our viewers in a comments to crafting episode which you can see on screen right now is an example of some of the ideas you guys suggested for the nether update so you can click the I in the corner of today's video somewhere around here wherever it is or you can check out description today's video and watch that but for now we'll go ahead and move back to today's video because it does something very different in today's video you can use this by combining nether right scrap and an iron ingot together in a crafting table you see look it is beautiful nice it's rapid steel yeah very scrappy young scrap but you can use this scrap and steel not only light blue fires you know those soul fires that we've seen so much of in this latest update right it's a lovely thing truth be told you can now use it to light special portals leading you to places that are even deeper in the nether then you've ever seen before look at this if y'all ready to jump in I don't know if I am but hey I've done crazier things so why don't we explore what's on the other side of this portal whoa hey this isn't where I was trying to go well that's part of the design then this is the nether plates aka the battleground aka rare biome that sometimes appears when traveling through portals it will literally interrupt where you met to go initially so you can deal with some nasty surprises rarely you'll find yourself in a situation where you're scrapping to steal will literally just take you to a part of the takes you to a different part of the nether and it's filled with all of these random plates that are filled with all of these random pillars that come with a brand new type of fire that we'll get to in a hot Sagi we could get it's a hot but first a return of an old friend the hovering inferno that's right what are the mobs voted on during Minecon but never made it into game but till now it's a dangerous mob that only spawns in in this battlegrounds biome so you'll want to every once in a while accidentally not get to your destination we're gonna gear up geared up shield in hand we got our bow ready let's take a look at this guy Oh baby baby baby never confer Anna will spawn in with some blaze cohorts and will from time to time spawn in even more of those so we're gonna take care of these problem mobs first you'll see something very unique about this blaze it has four plates shimmying around and they will provide defensive capabilities when you decide to take this creature on I'm about to see look look he's blocking all he's the worst no arrows can penetrate this guy's shield when he's got his plates in defensive mode like that so you'll need to go in and get some extra damage when you have your sword handy as well yeah hi oh boy yo he's got a lot of help though we need to probably be a little more careful about taking them on yeah come on he's dead we took care of business now you'll notice he dropped something quite awesome just kidding you drop anything that's cuz he doesn't always drop his special item but it's okay we've got it right here it's number 10 on our list the inferno crown every once in a while the hover Inferno will drop this very unique piece of headgear check it out looking good and look at me now baby we've got built-in shields that's right that's right that's right whenever we walk around we are getting the best of both worlds oh I love it now you can actually sneak to activate this special hovering Inferno shield and when you are in this he's sneaky boy mode well pleased to tell you mm-hmm you're not gonna take any projectile do you watch check it out look ya'll what's good boys sneak aha he fires his arrows off of me nothing happened they literally disappear you can't actually be dealt any arrow damage when you got it son now if we were to have it not in a snake Mon you can see that we can still be hit Willie nearly just fine but sneaking whoo-hoo ain't no thang baby and I just see them on top of that whether you're sneaking or not you also have infinite fire resistance when you have the inferno crown on however unfortunately you are also provided slowness so you'll be moving around a bit slow you know pretty treble but in a given T but we move on to the eternal flame this fire I was telling you guys about a little bit earlier every once in a while you'll come across these pillars with a unique type of fire not one that we've actually seen before it's different from the other fires you'll want to make sure you don't step on this fire because it will provide you with searing fire pain no literally sirree this is a type of flame that will burn you forever it will not go out the only way to handle it is by drinking the fire is Justin's potion and then the searing will go away you see don't step on this flame this is a fire you don't want to play with but if you do decide you want to play with it the only way I would recommend you doing so is by throwing in your hovering inferno crown into the fire because the moment you do you're gonna trigger an endgame event you'll start to see the flame has a bunch of particles coming out of it that means you've activated the nether Rock which is our 12th big on today's list oh gosh she's coming from EDD there's a boss mob that will actually attempt to take you out summoning in tons of nether allies roughly every five seconds to go so you're gonna want to do everything you can to damage this as fast as possible otherwise you're going to be absolutely overwhelmed but all of the mobs spawn again what's more you cannot damage this mob with anything other than nether right here that's right another edged sword is going to be required to deal any damage to this guy at all and he's got a lot of help so you're gonna want to stay nice and busy try to attack him oh my word there is just too much going on right now Oh God we're doing what we can to damage every end game very dangerous die dude this is bad there's so much fun I don't even know if I've really dealt him too much damage at like we're getting a punch on him every once and while my goodness have a heart now we're gonna handle the rest of this in creative mode yeah guys this is insane now he doesn't actually have too much help for a boss mob so as long as you moved very quickly you should have no problem killing this thing before he absolutely Shrek's your entire world and I would recommend you take care we're gonna attempt to do right now so you can just die thank you so much yeah yeah we're gonna do everything we can to kill this uh [Music] yes we did it his body is no longer working Hey I assume all right so it's time you could die hopefully he does anyways we got to have a chance at this one way or another oh I think we just got him not bad eh and quick work no less okay well he's been handled neutralized any special drops bones jaw just checked I guess it is to drop anything well I guess if you want to kill it to feel good about yourself you could do that for now let's actually get to the destination we were trying to get to which is number 13 the nether mountains a brand new type of biome with raining black water I guess it's very strange nether biome indeed with tons of new block types nether grass ooh nether ores that's right different aura types of all the different ores but in nether form you got a pickaxe here looking show up exactly what I'm talking about I'll spare you the trouble of mining them all I think you guys get the idea you get all the different auras you might normally get see you got gold or iron ore etcetera they just happen to come in netherrack as well beautiful and we've also got right over here scorched oak and scorched spruce trees as well as new leaf variants as well look at you guys lovely as well as strange nether mountains the atmosphere gives it some really weird weather I mean seriously we can look forever around here and not only that we'll see that we have our nether mobs that will actually spawn in in this world as well it's good thing we've got this gold on you can also see that there's a new type of slow it's almost like snow but it doesn't seem to look like snow that's because it's not it's number 14 silt check this mess out huh found at the top of mountains in this new nether plains you can mine it with shovels which we I wouldn't have one right here look at this mess ooh we've got silk balls which can be crafted into silk blocks which have gravity but also slows you down like soul singers so check I check this out big boy alert huh silt blocks all over the place it's pretty wild we're gonna go ahead and place one of these down you can see that it's a gravity block aye but I'll give this this water is not putting out the flames it's a weird place indeed standing on this will give you slowness 3 yes that's right so now you've got a way to trap enemies while using your balls as silt which you can also throw ok I get it can we not die please stop we should move on the final thing worth showing off today is tah yes right over here we can see it's a brand new type of liquid it's basically a drowning trap there is no way out of it you can see a mob actually just got sucked down look at the little piggy oh my goodness he can't make it back up even in creative mode I'm having a heck of a time getting out of this stuff pretty messed up if you ask me there oh but you managed to break free but look we've got a tar bucket right here and you can see that it is all over this place wherever you go and if any mobs nearby gets stuck in it they will be dragged underneath it is pretty messed up if you ask me these mobs have no means of escaping whatsoever stay out of the tar or you will get
