25 AWESOME Nether Update ideas for Minecraft

stuff coming to it but in today's video we take things further a lot furred we made our own nether completely different from the one shown at mine come from frozen biomes filled with ice to glowstone Caves home to new nether ores there is plenty to explore and take on gasps can now shoot charged blue fireballs that give you access to a special new vitality potion or maybe you decide to Kira's zombie pigmen to turn him back into a rig oh job what is that anyways there's even new villages to find in the nether with blocks to steal and nether golems to contend with for a total of 25 different updates to the nether so keep an eye out for your favorite update and make sure to comment about it below today's world by the way courtesy of icy and what convenience number one the throws and wastes one of a few new biome types you'll be able to get if we had our way and we're updating the nether ourselves it's home to a lot of cool things including cursed fire as well as sulfur clouds which are key to one of the ingredients for said Chris fire but more on those soon first number two changes to guests they'll sometimes shoot blue charged fireballs and killing a guest with that fireball will drop a charged gassed tip so with any luck the sky will give us what we there it is oooh dead-on shot no drop this time dead-on shot that time check it out I think it dropped it right down here where are ya hmm ah there you are take a look at this thing alright let's move on to our next one number three cursed fire very cursed indeed a mixture of red and blue flames and as you saw earlier a little difficult to put out you can't just break it like that it don't work that way and if you try and place the stone down it literally moves around how are we gonna handle this boom there I chase comes with a vengeance so we can put out cursed fire it's a little difficult to do but we can do it so how do we get it back well that's number four sulfur clouds which are found in our frozen wasteland by them it truly is a beautiful area around here and then you see the silver clouds it's simple enough though you just walk right up to them and collect them and also ignore that they sound like a glass definitely not glass not gonna happen but what will happen is the moment you have nine of these sulfur clouds in hand you can craft them together and look at what you get a sulfur charge unlike a flint and steel which places down normal fire you can use your sulfur charge to place down your curst fire which it's not gonna go out anytime soon we reached number five glowstone caves a cave variant similar to biome changes that are now found in the nether now whether or not they're gonna be this filled with gems normally it is yet to be determined but they look beautiful nonetheless and where my pickaxe there we go perfect I'm gonna mine some of these lovely oh wow hold on iron shard okay we're getting a little head of ourselves we should back up to number six nether mykes there's similar to silverfish but they start fires when they move around well hopefully not too many Wow yo he's got some speed on him now I don't see the fire happening which is probably for the fatigue no that's just oh gosh II did start it oh wow literally we're stuck where's my vitality potions it's fine for seven nether ores drop shard versions of the orc yeah we've been done had all this already okay just give me what I want oh yeah gold shards iron shards emeralds charge sailing out oh the diamond shards all at all well I mean I really I love the diamond anvil charge mr. oak in order to do anything with the charge you'll need to use a blast furnace that's right blast furnace specific goods here place it on in let it do its thing ah ha ha ha we'll visit those in just a second for now number 8 nether brick furnace which will double your shard output so here's how you make it read nether bricks one blast furnace to get your nether brick furnace and check this out baby we're gonna put that guy down to emerald shards in here don't mind why like oh my gosh we're getting a lot of oh no there was just four in there before but unlike that in here we've got two emeralds charts and so I'll go ahead and collect these thank you very much nice little output diamonds baby that's good but check it out we got four emeralds for two emeralds charge using the nether brick furnace number nine the magma pickaxe similar to an iron pickaxe but with the ability to auto smell to use it you'll need to blaze rods and three magma blocks so the recipe is a little bit inexpensive to be honest but whatever this is my update I did that I want it huh check this baby out look at this mine - that's beautiful Auto smelting also a good singer that's me now the trade-off here of course is that when you're using auto smelt you're not gonna get experience when your auto smelting your various different or types so you know your results may vary it's up to you really okay number 10 another biome the soul sand Plains wow it is so sweet here yep yep I did it I said that ash trees drop charcoal apples which here d buffs but they will in fact cost you so when you happen across these in your new soul sand with difficult again Plains well you're gonna just want to watch out so we've got some charcoal apples here I'm gonna get myself lots of D puffs we've got slowness hunger poison and weakness I'm gonna eat this Apple and hope I don't die eat it on up baby delicious well now I'm blind but hey it got rid of all the other D buffs that's amazing fix charcoal apples OOP yo and we forgot the number of these trees and these Apple so technically you guys just got a bonus update you welcome now here's where things get interesting number 11 zombie pigman can now be cured into regular pigment wells good baby hey stupid why the long face it's a little longer than normal I don't know it must be some kind of big brain thing he got me but here you go we're gonna go ahead and feed this pork guy a nice splash potion of weakness BAM and then a gold nap okay let him do his thing a transport now trust me I'd love to watch him transform visually on screen before our very eyes but I'd have to record for two minutes straight and not talk and that's lame so I'm just gonna we'll be right back I guess for the time being we could talk about the ash sapling which since it doesn't have its own update you wouldn't necessarily know about so you know we could do that you basically planted it in the ground presumably Saul sand and then it'll sprout new a tree yeah oh I should probably mine these as well daaamn be still doing this thing Oh looks like you found a friend though interestingly enough those are we'll get to them soon for now get a sh wood Wow ash planks Wow it's it's gray wood which is cool but come on man you almost done there it is Wow he doesn't really look much better uh kinda looks like a skinless bird not really sure what to make of these individuals they're kind of hideous and I mean that's really their only redeeming quality they won't even trade me for things come on guys we're better off exploring number-12 instead their villages that's right brand new structures villages that will spawn into the nether I mean look at this we're surrounded by lava this is lovely I love that huh complete with their own sets of blocks to get your hands on although it's gonna take a while to get your hands on them because it's pickaxe isn't that good to be honest but look everything you might normally expect to find in the village in the nether village in addition to different structures and blocks that these are made out of but would not necessarily go mining too far because you could upset our dear dear friend the nether golem number 1213 you actually sum these guys in using a carved pumpkin and other bricks look at you look at you hired help oh my gosh you are like really scary-looking and kind of hard to see because of like how dark you yeah yeah I don't know if guys I don't know if I can do this because I'm alright let's do it we got this baby what's good ugly you can't do nothing worse guy hey man really ain't you attacking me alright not too bright that's okay maybe he's my new best friend hey don't don't walk away what wait yeah baby let him have it oh gosh that's one of those alpha blazes we'll get to them in a little bit for now the nether golem defends his people right I've had my fair share of the nether village for the time being why don't we move on to number 14 the obsidian totem this will allow you to set your spawn point in the nether beautiful I've always wanted to do that so we'll go ahead and put it together just like this give me what I need a P obsidian totem yeah now this one's quite simple all I got to do is place it down then stand on it and so once you've done that you should be good to go but let's just appreciate the gravitas Oh lovely slash kill myself beautiful and look where we are instantly we're instantly back in the nether no more dying in the nether having to go back to the overworld and finding your portal again then making it back this is an instant way to get it done I love that that's fantastic but for now we keep on down the path to show you something even better and we've got to go quite far to get there have you all left a like on today's video yet ok good thanks for doing that here we are number 15 quartz fortresses that's right a brand new quartz fortress structure for you to explore as well as for you to ransack you can say first of all number 16 skeletons killed by wither roses will now drop wither skeleton loot so if you happen to get yourself a wither rose which you can get by unleashing the wither on your world letting that kill mobs well then you can turn skeletons into whether skeletons no problem at all these converted skeletons will drop more than just bone so I'm gonna let him do his thing yeah oh he tried to shoot me I don't think so baby oh gosh guess we weren't quick enough to kill him before he converted but that's just as well because the special converted versions as we see on the sign here - can't y'all read we'll drop something quite special indeed so let you do things convert on down baby and now I'll kill you dead and you dropped whatever call I get how it works now so the skeletons got to be on its last half heart and then we'll turn into this guy so we can do some damage to the original skeleton in order to make this guy appear a lot more quickly as a wither skeleton but in terms of the drops we get from it it appears to just be the same drops as the normal wither skeleton we got a wither skeleton skull we got some call we got arrows and bones so I actually don't know if these ones normally drop arrows but hey it's better than having a regular skeleton you know you could literally farm wither skeletons using your wither roses now by finding a skeleton spawner in your over world but we move on for the time being for next one number 17 watch out for deadly alpha blazes bum ba-bum you can tell there alpha because they got a Gorn stuff hanging out or oh boy all around them maybe we should just kill him it's oh yeah yeah we'll see you can tell while he's alpha you get too close to him and he will literally hmm blow up on you good thing we set our spawn though huh probably brought that block with me actually yeah that wasn't too bad to be honest we just got back pretty quickly now we're gonna take him out I mean can you not with the explosions I think the closer you get to him the more likely there is an explosion to occur come on guys the literal worst just try thank you ain't it dropping oh actually what's in the man whatever we move on quartz pillars conduct redstone that's number 18 baby so check these out ports pillar love it let me show you what I'm talking about here first and foremost pillar pillar pillar okay redstone lamp at the top no funny business no redstone attracted anywhere attached anywhere to this guy underneath no redstone either but look at what happened is the moment we place this button down well the lamp lights right lovely more importantly though look at what happens when we break the signal nothing happens at all so you can now vertically transfer your redstone signals using quartz pillars this is going to be amazing for compacting designs but redstone contraptions in a lot of ways Roley we're coming out seriously if only all these things were coming out such as this new biome that we still have yet to show you there's so many secrets in today's video number 19 mushroom biome that's right with bioluminescent mushrooms alongside our favourite red and brown ones that we've come to know and love in addition we also have blue I'm gonna look around this person thank we forget to the science mycelium is known to be one of the only other blocks from the overworld that can manage the survival rates required in the nether for whatever reason or another you can grow in here and it certainly does grow things such as these little puppies really gross looking oh my gosh it's like I have Sauron all over the place it's we are trying to break these mushrooms you don't actually get much from them you can't get the block you might need silk touch for it but you can get the new mushroom types which are glowing mushrooms gross would not recommend you eat these all right never mind hit number 20 glowing mushrooms they can be collected and crafted into soup see three glowing mushrooms sorry guys yeah eat up that wouldn't do it in real life that boom glowing stew love it here's some hunger because I want you to be okay now we're gonna drink it and but look at this glowing soup lets you see entities through walls boom baby all of a sudden nearby mobs will glow alongside yours truly you've got glowing for a limited amount of time as do the mobs around you so use this to your advantage you might actually end up loving using this when you're in caves for example trying to find nearby mobs that are hanging out in cave systems you have yet to see what's hiding baby knowledge is you again number 21 another word is edible and it gives you some fire resistance so check this out yummy tasty tasty and like 15 seconds of fire resistant so you may want to keep nether word on you while you're exploring the nether because you might have a chance at actually saving yourself from certain doom if you land oh I don't know near something over here like check this out look we just popped a quick another war it's not enough to keep us safe forever but it might be just enough to let us get back to shore and that makes all the difference even if you end up having lava hurting you you can quickly eat nether war because it has half the eat speed of regular food in this update and so look at that we just survived that fall number 22 nether stock drops corrupted fruits break for me baby yes go up to food so tasty I love it oh that's my torch I need that corrupted fruit we'll give you random buffs as well as debuff so I'm gonna eat this up we just got Hunger weakness mining fatigue speed regen and fire resistance let's try again well we get that time more the same yeah I'm gonna go ahead and take some debuff let's just eat a bunch of these and see what happens in a second huh oh boy how about this we might need to drink the milk bucket to get a new Depot how about this time around yeah it looks like you get a hodgepodge of randoms from time to time so it's almost like trying your luck it whatever the fruit wants to feed you this time around oh wait no I just can't read it gives you the same ones each time well whatever the final two and up we go to show them to you first of all number 24 obsidian vain spawn near the roof of the nether it excellent because I know a lot of you guys out there heading to the nether and you don't bring any extra obsidian with you well if you're planning on getting back to the nether you better keep track away the nether portal is because if you lose it you don't have any obsidian while you're in major trouble and obsidian veins solve that problem now you know you'll be able to find obsidian somewhere in the nether on the off chance you happen to need it and speaking of easy access to certain things our final update number 25 nether sinkholes which grant access to the roof of the nether those you that were unaware nether only last 128 blocks in height and then you have a whole bunch of bedrock all over the place normally impenetrable city calls will pop up every so often and give you infinite access to this amazing build area above so let us know my friends which updates of these were your favorite it's probably not this one hey guys thanks
