first up is the shadow spell slot Gail can permanently get an extra level 3 spell slot called The Shadow spell slot by absorbing the shadow weave off of any of the thorms after they've been defeated in act 2. however it appears the only way to get this cutscene to activate is if you chose Gale as the origin character this is really exciting because this confirms there is a lot of content to uncover depending on which origin character you're playing as since certain content can only be accessed as a given origin character as if there weren't already enough reasons to start a new playthrough it seems that if you truly want to see all the content one playthrough per origin character is in order number two is dupe any weapon if you saw the act 3 Secrets video then you know about the statue that grants one of your characters a permanent blast buff that gets applied after every long rest however this statue can also serve as a way to dupe Your Weapon by casting command drop on the statue in your Camp you can get another other copy of the weapon you were holding when you purchased the statue which can be very powerful in order to get this statue you'll need to head to the circus of the last days and talk to bony one of the dialogue options is that you'd like a statue of yourself for your Camp bony will tell you it costs 5 000 gold and if you pay then after each long rest you'll now have bless on your character granting 1d4 bonus to attack rules and saving throws and you'll also have a sweet statue of your character in your Camp called the true hero of Baldur's Gate that you can cast command drop on to get your new weapon and if you like that tip don't forget to click that like button and subscribe for more balder's Gate 3 videos number three is Shadow entanglement and Shadow Blade Shadow entanglement lets you entangle Undead and Shadow creatures which is quite strong Shadow Blade creates a shadowy short sword which deals 2 to 16 psychic damage and both of these are acquired from helping Arabella in act 2. if you save Arabella in act 1 then in Act 2 you'll find her near the Mason's Guild asking you to help find her parents if you head Northwest to the house of healing you'll find arabella's parents and Upon returning to Arabella and following up by talking to her again after a long rest you'll gain both of these abilities the Shadow Blade is granted through a ring called Shadow Blade ring and the spell requires concentration so unfortunately you do have to keep the ring on in order to keep this blade and these items are perfect for a shadow themed character and advancing arabella's story is actually pretty interesting and it is easy to miss if she dies in act 1. number four is the Hellfire engine crossbow in the steel watch Foundry there are three items that can be combined to create this very rare Hellfire engine crossbow those three items are the targeting module steel Watcher arm and crossbow blueprint these three items can be found all within the first floor of The Foundry the targeting module is on a table just outside the office the crossbow blueprint is just inside the office on a table and the steel Watcher arm is on a table just as you enter The Foundry from the southeast end take these three items to the table in the office and combine them into this amazing amazing Hellfire engine crossbow his crossbow has an ability called lightning arrow that does 8 to 64 damage which is pretty amazing and number five is Anointed in the Splendor within the storm Shore Tabernacle in act three there is a statue of mistra which you can donate items to if you donate enough items you can satisfy mystra and pray to her to receive this blessing this blessing grants you a plus two bonus to all saving throws you do lose this bonus after a long rest but you can get it again easily by just going back to the Statue and praying you don't need to donate again and there is a waypoint right outside so it's very easy to get this however this is on a per character basis so if you want your whole party to have this buff you'll need each one to donate to satisfy mystra and it takes a lot to get her satisfied so getting your whole party to get this you're giving up a lot of items and number six is the Watcher Greatsword this item says it can only be equipped by Steel Watchers but it can in fact be equipped by any of your other care characters if you drag and drop your current weapon on top of it this weapon does an absolutely insane amount of damage and frankly it shouldn't be wieldable and as of patch 3 this actually has been fixed and cannot be equipped anymore but it was definitely incredibly overpowered to use it for the short time you could and it looked absolutely ridiculous walking around with this giant sword number seven is the brand of the absolute you can get this from Priestess gut in the goblin encampment this is a permanent bonus that unlocks extra powers from items these Powers range from reducing all spell damage from spells by one from the absolute protector advantage on death saving throws from the absolute Talisman a plus one bonus to saving throws from the absolutes war board and plus one Thunder damage with thunder damage spells and attacks with the Ring of absolute Force definitely worth doing because the only thing you pay for this is some disapproval from some party members but it allows you to unlock some of these bonuses that could be good depending on what build you're going for number eight are the dark ladies blessings in the center of the Town Square in Act 2 is a puzzle that leads you to a secret room filled with Lady Char statues each statue asks you to perform a different ability saving throw one for intellect wisdom and Charisma use the character with the highest ability score in order to have the best chance of succeeding and get the dark ladies blessing you'll get a plus 5 bonus to the corresponding ability until your next long rest while it's not permanent a plus five bonus is huge so it's worth picking this up perhaps before delving into a challenging Quest you can also make a blood offering in the Next Room to get additional items and then after that if you steal the dagger three Guardians will spawn which means more XP if you defeat them and number nine is survival Instinct this ability infuses your target with psionic Force if your target would reach zero hit points it heals instead of falling unconscious this action is refreshed upon short rest and can be earned by completing the quest hope omelum investigate the pair parasite this Quest is given by omellum the Mind flayer in the underdark this Quest has you going into the Arcane Tower and returning with tin mask spores and tongue of Darkness it's a simple enough Quest To Enter through the front gate and jump down the side using the mushrooms as Ledges and there's a lot more to the tower than just this Quest but you can teleport back to the micanid Colony after you get these items if all you're after is survival Instinct this can be very helpful in case you don't want to lose any permanent Buffs to save a character from Death when they would have otherwise died and number 10 is musical instrument proficiency any character can acquire this proficiency by helping alfira come up with a song in Acts 1 within the Druids Grove you can find her practicing on the Southeast end of town you'll need to pass two Charisma checks in order to progress the dialogue and learn musical instrument proficiency if you manage to do this you'll also get lehalla's loot as an additional reward for helping alfira this is everything you need if you're interested in getting the Busker achievement which requires you to earn 100 gold from playing sweet sweet music in a single playthrough but you don't have a Bard so I think this is kind of cool if you want to go after that and finally number 11 is the sentient amulet in the underdark south of the ancient Forge lies a locked adamantine chest guarded by a lava Elemental using feather fall you can jump directly to a chest and lock picket once you loot The Amulet a cursed monk will open dialogue with you and ask you to return the amulet to his daughter this begins a quest that completes in act 3 when you eventually find his daughter and this Quest is most worth it if you're playing as a monk or have a monk in your party because you'll get greater key restoration but otherwise it's an interesting Quest just for XP and you can also learn Tasha's hideous laughter depending on your dialogue choices in act 3 or you could just keep the amulet for Shatter if you're not a monk which is still somewhat helpful those are my 11 things you might have missed in Baldur's Gate 3. are there
