Where Were They Going? Jeep & Ford Flooded In River

so the video we're dropping today was filmed this last summer and uh i was out of town with jamie we were looking i think she was looking at a car she wanted to buy down in las vegas so we were just kind of making a trip of it on our way back we got a call from my guys and they had gone to do an off-road recovery and the jeep broke down so it was a little frustrating for me i got there and we got it figured out i'm watching it now it's pretty funny uh stick around to the end because it gets pretty good enjoy the show [Music] good how are you how are you good thanks for coming out here we're all the way down there on the other end [Music] and that makes stuff like this look easy yeah youtube's about to find out how tough this stuff really is [Music] right yeah go ahead and as i pull now you can start to drive a little bit and it'll come out of there now keep going go turn it the other way yes okay turn it to the right i wish we had a shorter strap in case you see this matt i do wish in this moment i had a shorter strap of course once he sees it you'll be able to tell me what i did wrong oh my goodness matt i stand corrected i apologize it's a really nice strap for this job i don't have to get one of his fancy yank them messy don't drop anything in the water too hard it's going in oh man that's for the views it's for the views and i didn't even make it well we're in there now should be dry in five minutes though right we're gonna put some men on this front bumper to lift it up a little bit so we don't yank it off it's on here solid okay it's got it's the bumper we can't save it so yes dude i'll find a place i can scuba this thing now if i need to [Music] dude there are so many people doing sucky stuff for a living right now i feel bad for them right tell him to go go [Laughter] it's nice and flooded now and apparently battery's dead or shorted at this point so i don't think this one's leaving on its own power hot out here andy yes it is go jump in that river pull you right off he's not hot and so you want us to pull it out get it to the road do you want me to send a roll back after it when we get it there that'd be great okay [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] hmm [Applause] [Music] [Music] feels like it's got a u-joint or something binding up i don't know what to do for him put the winch back on it i guess something's making noise though hey hey that's interesting the caliper the rotor it broke the whole caliper bracket that he built and everything it looks like the bolts might have came loose in it and just the whole thing just came apart i think what we need to do is just get a ride out of here to where we can at least get to matt call him you get it is your phone right there well i'm yeah saint george headed to the yard we'll get the jeep that will come down and rescue everybody okay all right thanks matt all right i'm gonna get a roll back what's good [Music] okay this is gonna be fun [Music] okay let's ease on out of here [Music] guess what i was in reverse when he started taking off and i realized it and i had to hurry fast to get it into drive [Music] how's that tire looking i don't know what's wrong with it i do third you can't come oh that corner on two wheels be careful you're gonna tip him over we've got a winch jamie it's not a big deal so how was that corner you came around there a little frisky trying to follow the rope okay so this just needs to go up to the rollback yeah so i can handle the rest of this here [Music] okay jamie you're out of here i was gonna stay here and enjoy the sun but i guess i'm not you know what why don't we just go up and meet up with eric well you're welcome to that'll get you in the shade and some wind hey eric i'm just getting in a better and better mood are you that's good barely there's only one way to go that's pretty absurd we're stranded clear down the river bring the power stroke [Music] i know you said you said bring the jeep but i certainly didn't hear it okay john should have the roll back up there man you have a chevy tailgate [Music] i want to leave my bad attitude right here only because i really like randy thank you good sir okay [Music] i'm sorry randy for what losing my cool when you guys sucked at this [Music] that's what i thought okay let's go see remember i was i'm gonna pull the hubs off and put those dust covers on that's when i was gonna fix it now i'm forced to that bracket will still work i've just gotta put it back on and weld it i got a good welder now and i'll do the dust cover while i'm at it yeah the ac in these is really just for the front seat isn't it there's barely a wisp of cool air back here all i'm getting is the hot air blowing in there and then down the back of my neck just as long as we don't overheat old ed good old ed at least it's not 108 degrees up here how did we forget the impact we've never had a problem for 10 years oh man yep that was a hard hard reverse i've made myself a one-man jeep i never have time to finish anything so i'm always running compromised frustrating to say the least not that big of a deal we got it figured out i'm probably gonna have to put that bracket together and order some more i wonder if anybody has anything like that installed [Music] this truck running no i don't care if it falls off [Music] that's 117 degrees okay so right after you called me randy sent me a text and said this tire's going flat and i'm like oh great eric what are you doing when you get done with that job bring me a tire from the yard i took the spare tire from eric and jamie unhooked and eric pulled ryan to the road wow so many developments i was just putting it together like legos man people are like didn't you buy the space shuttle lego kit yes how did you make the millennial falcon i figured it out one piece at a time one piece at a time i always tell people it's egyptian style i do it the way the egyptians did how did they build the pyramids no one knows they just figured it out we got a close-up for this video and that's how the news goes so in this video we kind of threw ryan under the bus a little bit but it definitely wasn't his fault he he wasn't abusing the jeep and uh we got it fixed it's all good now thanks for watching
