Chevy Duramax Rescue & Lexus Goes From Bad To Worse

so we got a call for i think it's some sort of side by side a razor maybe and it got stuck in the sand and then he took i think a one ton ford in there to get it and got it stuck so we're headed out there near babylon mill see if we can get him out what's the weather today the weather is doing pretty good i love november's weather it's feeling pretty fantastic just uh sunny but not hot like 70 something degrees got randy in the back seat it feels good to go on a job we've got a couple days without anything going on everybody's been out boating instead of getting stuck so we've just been working in the shop [Music] it must be this way get the camera out i want to be on your video okay so they got a big old chevy but just up there and it's pretty high centered we dug it out a little bit but we got a wyatt he knows you and he has a jeep like this there he's up trying to get the little razor it's a little farther up he's trying to pull that out he's just up here about a half a mile okay i'm gonna hold her back up there yeah okay okay i got the key to the truck y'all know you give it to me i should be able to make it yeah we'll take your keys we'll go get started on it thank you pretty nice truck but it's got some new pin stripes on it that's for sure hold it fancy fans fancy these things are way too technical well thanks so much thank you you guys have a good one so when we got there they had already got the side by side out so all we had to get out was the truck and that's kind of what we did yeah pretty basic job it was fun so we got a call for a lexus that stuck out here at sand hollow we're gonna head out here and see if we can get it we've got randy with us today hello he's going to be swinging a camera for you and that's all i have to say about that [Music] are the keys in it yeah i think i think it turns on and but the wheels don't turn do you know anything about these what year is this and the traction's off [Music] i just want to see what it does try to move it 10 feet then it goes boom transmission's done hey best drivers in here right now i'm just kidding you know what and women do better than men i don't know why but they don't mia no this is emily's car okay so i'm gonna tell you something you're not gonna believe okay i i tell people to hold the steering wheel and not let it turn okay and the first thing they do is this and i don't know why but it's true we did one today today the the second the second i told her she just cringed so all you've got to do is keep that steering wheel straight that's it no matter what the truck does okay and then you're gonna give just a little bit of throttle like maybe uh 1500 rpm okay and then when we get out on the road you'll just steer onto the road like normal and start easing on the brakes so you don't run over my rope okay you guys want to get in or walk oh should we no walk oh you gotta walk sorry i don't know put it in drive oh my bad um you're not on the break or anything i'm not i'm not i'm putting it when he goes give us some gas give us some gas okay diamond right give it gas right now there you go pull keep giving it gas there you go go a little more matt i think the transmission might be done [Music] all right that's good go ahead put it in put on the break put it in part let's let him check it out there's something more sinister a foot is that transmission locked up fall out on the road she can't go so is it completely dead yeah that's kind of what it seems and it won't roll backwards i was it felt like i was pulling dead weight all right climb on out let's see if we make it do anything at all what so how do you get it into there [Music] transmission's dead go ahead and turn all those traction aids back on well i've got some bad news i think this transmission is toast we got 331 000 miles out of it [Music] hey this thing's gonna need a tow you guys have the airbnb for hello all right everybody load up i'm gonna have randy drive it or follow us out we're gonna take it outside so the tow truck can get it okay so whoever needs to ride from there can ride in there what you looking for tightened up on [Music] all right john should be here in 10 or 15 minutes they have an airbnb in leverku and i told him i could give some of them a ride four to do that except three because we can only get yeah we can we can do that right now because the tow truck's gonna be packed with this many so if four yeah no three because we can only fit three yeah unless they want to get back there but the rest of you will fit in the tow truck just fine where are you taking the car i have no idea i think you recommend a mechanic or here this is like las vegas lexus dealership stuff this is like ten thousand dollars oh is it that much for transmission for that thing it's five it's five thousand for uh not lexus oh i was off sorry years old maybe it's just it's time so we got there and we got it found got it pulled out the transmission was not functioning anymore so we had to call john in and get it towed out of there it's going to be an expensive fix long drive home definitely so how many of you were there there was seven yeah so everybody didn't fit in the tow truck so we're taking them to their airbnb here locally so that they didn't have to call a cab or uber or something thanks for watching
