What Else Did I Find in the locker bought for $1,859 at the abandoned storage auction? JEWELRY BOX!

what the heck what is this okay wait wait wait wait wait wait oh my goodness hang on a second we got some pokemon cards this is 1995. okay i think this is decent b-bop and boogie lights is what is that's what it says i got so excited i held my breath for a second then i'm like oh please oh please what's this look at this one yeah yeah yeah yeah oh we found a treasure chest oh yeah whoa whoa what's that jewelry box jewelry box okay hang on a second now now this is sterling this clearly says sterling who paid 1800 and found mostly garbage in a unit this clown right here [Music] okay next box and this one is sealed sealed perfectly looks like it's been untouched this one actually has got me a little curious okay no it's just toys kind of like the last one it's toys steel tech huh remco it looks a little bit older yeah there's a lot of stuff in here this stuff in the bag feels all chalky like literally like chalk i think they put chalk and you're like chalkboard chalk that's bandai 99 huh duke so much there's a pokemon pokeball or whatever it's called probably want to take this home and go through it a lot more carefully and pull out like this for example that's hot wheels 1993. it's rough condition but still this is vintage stuff this one is matchbox yeah we'll take this we're gonna have to take it home and go through it see if there's anything good in there john all right what did they keep for john let's see who is john what do you have here what in the world is this oh it's a picture frame oh there's a little razor sanyo compact battery shaver that's pretty hilarious it's actually pretty dope too [Music] look at this number one dad there's nothing in there oh oh fine jewelry okay hold on now okay this is a what the heck what is this okay wait wait wait wait wait what the heck i'm trying to see i think i see a lighter colored metal underneath where it like was either cut or broke right there i think i'm seeing the lighter color which means this would be gold plated it's heavy there's some weight here if this isn't plated there's some serious serious weight here yeah it's plated you see that it's all silver right there dang that was nice for a second there got my hopes up for a second because it's in this bag too fine jewelry what's up with that now bomber that could have made my money back right there honestly that could have been 1800 bucks right there based on the weight of it all right guys let's try let's check that out all right now you take a magnet to it and it's very clear very easy to see that this is not real gold it's probably real gold plated but not solid gold that's what i should say but um yeah man that got me going for a second okay so but i did make that claim in the locker that if this was real it could have paid for it let's test that out let me test that out just because i'm curious so put it on the scale there and we've got 53.2 grams so 53.2 grams if it was 14k which would normally be 35 dollars a gram scrap and sixty two dollars dang sometimes i guess pretty pretty good there's hope there's hope because if i found that hey i could find the real thing i'll believe it i keep believing it buffalo catfishes so this wallet is buffalo calf oh man they sticking stickers on it [Applause] baby teeth yeah there's some baby teeth and some hair gross and some cards this is tough guys i mean honestly like from the last locker we went through with all the beanie babies and everything and then we're going through this one it's like this one's a this one is a pretty much of a letdown this one so far so far we still have a jewelry box that we got to go through closer there's hope there there's a little actually i have a decent amount of hope there what the heck uh this is a vintage clown wig right here japan origin made in korea japan origin made in korea all right well isn't that fitting isn't that fitting who paid 1800 and found mostly garbage in a unit this clown right here okay baby stuff baby stuff baby baby stuff in fact they even save the diaper there's some baby moccasins right there just as the box says those are pretty cool actually vintage we got that resin eagle right here yeah it's pretty pretty cool but it's it's also a bit dirty i don't see any maker mark on the bottom i think we looked at this already i can't remember dirty dirty right here okay on the wings tips and i think that's from because there were rats in this unit and this was not in a box it should have been in a box and it should have been wrapped better but i think the rats running over things i think that's what that is this piece also was out i don't think this is anything special i don't know what that stupid stuff is but looks like they spent three dollars at 50 cents on it not a big ticket either this is what i want to go through we're gonna wait till we get home to go through those uh all right next box aqua tank looks like it's some kind of a was some sort of an aquarium let's see what this is more photos binky circus circus las vegas what is this kids sitting on a timeout chair i don't know guys i just don't know sometimes i don't know i what i don't know is how to buy lockers apparently because this locker sucks look how dirty that is in the bag [Music] this is filthy dirty in there a couple of decent books and i'll put the books aside because we'll either sell or donate the books those are good books there they sell decent there's parts for an aquarium here i think that's all sellable stuff there's a pump some little aquarium pieces in there there's more aquarium stuff sellable oh boy okay there's the there's the whites they did their white laundry shirts undies and socks next box oh okay vhs i'm not getting excited about that but right out the gate i see turtles and i see gi joe and that i do like okay walt disney leading the let's just make sure yes it is air bud little pokemon of course this is the one that's rough shape pokemon the movie two thousand okay snow white nice platinum edition does that mean something i don't know i doubt it gold collection okay mulan gold casper ah bummer that one's empty pokemon three that's probably something good lord of the rings the goonies oh my goodness great movie great movie really right so i just reminisce for a second there toy story spanish version of uh this chevy chase danica i forget the name of that spies with i don't know another pokemon it's good the first movie dragon ball z yeah dragon ball mystic adventure that's good too right power rangers i think these are all decent movies the grinch okay walt disney gold collection pinocchio another air bud walt disney gold collection ichabod and mr toad amazing spiderman the shredder is splintered okay hollywood video ants dino riders spider-man robo wheels the battle earth i don't know if these are worth anything guys i'm just going to put them aside circus cartoons hansel and gretel i don't know about that one and the gi joe all right i kind of divided them these will be flea market or donate and these will be maybe put in our live auction i'm not sure it's been a while since we sold some vhs i don't know if those are good ones or not oh look at this last one that was on the bottom i missed it and it is pokemon three yeah yeah next one and it is sealed closed okay let's see some track oh and i see a pokemon hat this is a lot of different types of track here oh pikachu it's a little video game handheld oh there's a pokemon card not what i was hoping the cloud what what are these things almost looks like tarot cards the libra the dash but they're almost like pokemon or anime what is this thing i don't know we're gonna have to look this up i hope it's complete it looks like it's it looks like it's a little too low in the recess here like there might be some missing but i don't know that's different well this is another big box of toys and there's an old calculator uh oh my goodness hang on a second we got some pokemon cards this is 1995. okay i think this is decent they're not too wrecked there's some that are rough rougher condition like this one for example they'll wear around the edge there because some of them look like they've been spared huh all right we've got a little pokemon cards that's a good maybe there's more in here you know i'm going to take this home i'm going to take this one home we'll go through it we'll take everything out in sort all right that's going to be the key is to sort it all figure out what's what maybe some of the stuff will get lotted up in auction lots to make into our live auction all right we'll do some toy lots you guys aren't sure what i'm talking about well we do auction live auctions every monday night at 5 pm pacific i may have already said that in this video oh there's some play-doh or a flare that's funny uh yeah we do the live auction stuff right so come on bye come on by and if you like see something you want you can buy you can buy the stuff that you've seen pulling out of these lockers not so much good stuff now this one so far i'm a little disappointed about but we got lots of good stuff though that last locker we bought had tons of good stuff next box more track there's a ton of this crap strobe light bebop and boogie lights is that's what says bebop and boogie lights this is pretty cool i mean it's a racetrack for something i'm sure it's really neat whatever it is and whatever it does controllers oh it looks like it does a loop-de-loop that's neat all right let's see this from greg what you got for us greg what baseball cards from denny's 1993 grand slam danny's cards boy boy boy boy if these were pokemon cards sealed packs we would be so in the money so oh so in the money all right maybe these got some value though it's still good this is better than some of the garbage i've been finding um but boy oh boy pokemon would have just been off the hook way better here's some comics though okay i see a 20 cent spidey oh condition's rough but that's cool all right nothing too impressive here this is neat though oh my goodness look at that big old chunk of that missing come straight up gone marvel tales number 35. that's this is neat it was in great condition that would be some money but it is it's not oh look at this what the heck fifty dollars with book this is like a solid piece of metal here and i think it's bronze it's like a submarine right solid i mean it's it weighs it's a couple pounds i think fifty dollars with book i don't know that's that's interesting okay there's all paperwork in there so on to the next that's this big boy right here what do we got this looks a little cleaner in here let's start with these right here okay yeah i got a bunch of these cars they're pretty wrecked up i mean you see all the chips in the paint they're they've been played with heavily heavily okay we'll probably put all those up in a lot in our auction that's a bird king toy right here i don't know what that gets from this is dreamworks some radio shack piece here amplified indoor antenna tonka road racer that's kind of cool battle bots oh el diablo how cool it's a it's a toy version of battlebots that's neat there's the lunch pill jeff burton 2000 roush industries some pieces of wood a couple leather belts what's this this looks like another star wars piece 1997 lucasfilm something's rattling around inside but something's broke off there again oh my goodness look at this looks like the kid was messing with it like it almost looks like he's melted away like he's i don't know he's screwing with it there's no lighter on it or something dragon ball z cap that's cool what's this hmm a little jewelry box but nothing in it it's kind of neat more star wars stuff batman spy tracker system train it's another block of wood chucky cheese 1997. all right here's another pokemon card there's a rock what is this that's a weird looking rock maybe it's just uh like a lava piece of lava or maybe something else always hoping to find an asteroid somewhere that'll be cool 1983 brass darth vader keychain that is hecka cool that's nice i like it pulling a bunch of cards out the bottom it looks like dragon ball z mostly oh digimon it's like every single battery compartment's missing there's a little abacus on a piece of marble gatco san francisco it's nice all right i just spent a bunch of time digging around the bottom pull out anything of interest um these little metal figurines right here are kind of interesting i'm not exactly sure what they are but they're heavy miriam sheba you got names isaac there's a whole bunch of them so look at this one yeah yeah yeah yeah they're interesting all right next box small it says small oh man there's more clothes this whole clothes really it's just shirts they're all taped up very bizarre to tape your clothes up like that i think i think i think there's some lee jeans there nothing too impressive though lofton brownstone that was pretty nice wool jacket very warm about 80 degrees today not exactly the right jacket for the current season that's probably 75 but it feels like 85 because it's not used to the heat yet we're still adjusting all right that's that's a really terrible box right there five bucks at the flea market if i'm lucky to help john reach his brother i don't know what that means but um it felt like it was a fabric or something here like sheets sheets that's what i would have guessed no it's something different different it's in the toilet paper bag okay oh boy school work oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy why that's 1800 for this i'm getting down to it see that two boxes that's the jewelry and stuff we'll go through that closer at home i did put a couple things aside i don't know if i showed this but some arrows a little quiver of arrows yeah those are real arrows they're just not worth very much but um that guitar which i don't think that's worth very much and this stuff will go through that stuff still yet let's see what we got a couple more chances here boy i'm really hoping there's some good jewelry in there and i doubt it based on the quality of the rest of this stuff i seriously doubt it okay more toys but a couple more of these pokemon balls a here key put that aside might need that [Music] dragon ball z hat that's cool oh this is heavy what is this all right that's a hurdle no wonder it's heavy a little bit nicer quality it's about a man oh that's cool is it three-dimensional wow there's woody a bunch of just random stuff in here super yo renegade looks like a high-end yo-yo what is this oh tourmaline it's from brazil that's oh five dollars this little piece of of a stone crystal or a rock or something dc motor sakai what is this that looks really nice maybe for an rc car boat an rc boat maybe oh here's some more of those little metal figurines right here hmm i see some more playing cards in here did you mold oh we found a treasure chest oh yeah did we not find or it wasn't the same one we did find one in a recent locker let's see no treasure bummer it's kind of cool though isn't it neat little box oh there's some more pokemon right here and and yugioh this is a flintstones uh happy happy meal toy but from burger king a 2000 of happy meal type stuff superman look at that dudley it's a very old lock i think that's very old this is interesting some hurdle pieces right here it looks like to a train this looks almost like a a mass rail system here and this is another thomas train but it's ertl or we did see a little train track so it makes sense more ertl [Music] [Music] all right well there's it there it is that's what we got left quite a few more these little metal pieces those are interesting and uh yeah yeah we'll load them up put them in our auctions most of these trains will go together and see what we got all right next box okay it looks like it looks all right let's see this is lego see some decent stuff in this a one more toys nothing too amazing there all right what's this guy something's moving around in there again missing battery compartment it's like i don't know how they lose so many of them what's this bluebird 1993 from england that is very interesting it does all kinds of stuff oh oh there we go look at that oh neat you put little action figures on here or something a battle station oh this one i think we've seen this one before haven't we i'm pretty sure we've seen this one before oh my goodness look there's a battery compartment it is a bank and i think you put a coin in there and they do their stuff that i think you drop a coin in there and r2d2 goes backwards and forwards he moves his arm c3po it's more the voice that's really cool on this okay and then we got some legos okay a few legos and then we've got i think this will move on there's a couple action figures nice frisbee original frisbee okay a little beanie baby righty the elephant there's a what do you call it a jabba what do you call them they're for the jawas 1996 another little beanie a little water game it's a pencil sharpener it's metal purple rocks that one's neat almost looks like an egg it's another mini beanie baby i think these are like from the mcdonald toys i think there's the little furby oh he's all crusty okay all right we are and we're getting almost out of boxes i got this right here though and we still have to go through it i don't think we look in here a couple tools that looks older i'll put that aside then otherwise just some tools little little tools like kids are messing around with stuff and learning learning it's what's good all right what is that batman thing a couple batman things i don't know a little this and that box is actually kind of neat this look like all the legos and it's more than that there's some junk in here too see three people what are you doing in there lots of legos that guy's kind of cool tiger but eh right guys not not such a good box we're not finding such good stuff it's a little disappointing it's a lot disappointing actually it is it's a lot all right that train lamp's pretty cool the lampshade was pretty much shot though so took that off it's all yellow and crusty but this is kind of neat i mean to a train collector train aficionado that's a neat piece we'll take that maybe to the vintage market we'll just have to see let's take a little peek in here what is this new bright industrial 1986 new bright train set very light like very cheap you know very light big old track i'm gonna have to look that up right now we got the whole set but i don't want to tear it all open oops kind of drop that and yeah do you think anyone will notice the damage um just kidding all right we're back at the nut house let's go through just a couple more items here some that we already peeked in let's look a little bit closer and wrap this video up all right to start with let's look at this uh real quick again i know we already peeked in here we see some beads it's all right some good stuff here i think this stuff might make our jewelry bag i don't know if we'll put this in trays but this is what i do i take a magnet let's yeah let's stick to the magnet and just see if there's anything precious here oh yep i'd say that sticks to the magnet that one's not but i don't think that's gold definitely doesn't look like it it's a little money clip right there this nice piece nothing too exciting here the box is cool though look at that really nice cigar box havana so these are cuban cigars nice this thing right here is kind of interesting it's unfortunately it's all rusted you know it's been exposed to some moisture and that's unfortunate this little pig nose and look at this the shape of the volume knob is the shape of a pig nose i guess these are something kind of famous or popular it's a little miniature uh amplifier and you see right here it's got room for double a batteries big surprise the kid lost the battery covers also you can plug it in so just kind of cool and we did find that electric guitar in there so you probably used it with this little amp but if this amp was uh in good condition the rust i think is going to really compromise value but i'll show on the screen here these have some decent value definitely be on the lookout for those i've never seen one before okay back to this one now we already looked in here this is that uh we showed it in the last episode but there's that elvis knife very nice piece uh that will be in our next auction live auction the rest of the jewelry box here was empty all the drawers unfortunately empty so we'll just go ahead and donate that but this bag right here might have some interest let's let's take a closer look i don't have super high hopes at this point just because going through the rest of the locker we really didn't find anything too fabulous i was hoping that might be a silver it doesn't stick but i don't see any markings on here to suggest that it's 925 or sterling oh it's kind of neat you know the money clip here for the dollar sign this gold plated whatever it is it's got a plating on it's coming off these little cufflinks are cool a little tight clip i think right here i don't see any marking on it for silver another beaded necklace here another cufflink okay hang on a second now now this is sterling this clearly says sterling see it right there 925 sterling it's a little earring that's a pretty nice piece so we do have some silver here all right still chance we'll find some more good stuff really good stuff let's see indian navajo okay what is that it's some kind of clip for a belt or something but it is also gold gold-plated you can kind of see where the gold is wearing off that's a different piece though here's the other part of that earring there's a little pin looks like maybe it's military it's a little cuff link with the floor to lee in it look at this this cuff link here says swank it's kind of funny because i did find cufflinks and tie clips in the last locker that had very many pieces from swank yeah bowling ball and bowling pin tie clip this one has a marking on it anson this one also says swank on it another cuff link i think there's only one of these though look at this it's like a little racquet or something and it says 925 mexico on it that's an earring that's different oh and there's two that's good this one right here also says sterling only one piece though see right at the bottom there sterling this is a neat little pin right there almost looks like a road runner or something oh look at this this is cool snap-on it's a little wrench tie clip that is pretty neat that might be my favorite piece yet in this slot all right getting down to it getting down to it this i think this is his last two red boxes i did peek in these but only enough to see that there was enough interesting stuff here to put it on camera um and you'll see what i'm talking about in just a second whoa whoa what's that jewelry box jewelry box possible jewelry box it's heavy yeah that's it for that little box what is that ams what if that's for tools or something kind of neat little boxes though i like them what's in this one oh yeah some more rocks right okay let's look through it this polished stones right here it's kind of nice all right what is this it feels like beans that's just a bean bag why would you have a bean bag i don't i don't know maybe it's just for void fill so the rocks don't rattle around so much i don't know okay we got more polished stones this is pretty a whole bunch more polished stones here these will just go directly into our auction we're gonna lock those up make a nice lot out of them okay oh what's this oh what the heck is this that appears to be a piece of jade that was carved and that's with these little pieces floating around in there what a bummer he put this in a metal box with rocks oh it goes this way i think this is a bird oh dang that's a real shame it looks like the head may be broke off it's got lots of little broken pieces on here that's a piece of jade though i think that's what it is uh that was probably a really pretty piece broke off right here probably very beautiful uh maybe it's broken before they give it to the kid i don't know all right three little boxes to go okay fine jewelry by best the last time we found jewelry that was in a fine jewelry bag it was a gold-plated rope right the necklace chain or whatever this is monet that's what it says on the back there monet this is a costume piece yeah it's a nice little piece not big value but it's decent we got here okay little button cover and another button cover again fine jewelry box not not really not really fun jewelry okay uh the kid hand written on there and it's not it sounds like rocks or something uh it's not his jewelry okay it really did sound like rocks i think this is another gold-plated piece i'd sure love for it to be something better i think that's what it is yeah the magnet's not folded so another nice piece though all right it is still pretty another costume piece it's pretty all right um earrings quite a few earrings and the button cover all right what is this this has something on it this is like a cat alien i don't i think it's a cat it says 925 on it see that right on the corner there 925 so got some silver earrings here it looks like brass the back piece on it looks like brass but at least some of it's silver so there's a little bit of silver oh yeah i'll take it all right you guys well that's gonna do it for this locker this video hmm eighteen hundred dollars not well spent it was sixteen ninety plus fees came up just around eighteen hundred let's just call it eighteen hundred just not what i was hoping but at least we got a little bit to sell uh we do have some toys we've got stuff for the flea market but this locker was not at all like what i thought it was gonna be i thought we're gonna have a toy collector i thought we're gonna find vintage toys turns out we basically we found a locker from someone who saved all her kids stuff from the 90s which is great 90s stuff is great she had that locker since 2004 so she paid a lot of money to store what i think is mostly garbage the kids took like lighters or something to some of the pieces and melted them and glued stuff back together this stuff was done it was done it's seen its life i don't know what the story is here and i don't think we'll ever know at this point i'm moving on to the next one which hopefully i'll pick up this week if you guys are in this business and you know what i'm talking about it has gotten tremendously tremendously difficult to buy lockers because i think there's less supply it feels like there's less supply and there's maybe more buyers right now and so like the few good ones that are coming up are just getting shot to the moon plus the whole move to online means increased competition driving prices up even further you guys are thinking about getting in this business for the first time i just say good luck because it's it's a very trying time to be coming into this new um unless you're retired and wealthy and said hey i want to do it just as a hobby great but if you're going to try to uh start a business doing this right now tremendously difficult i'm not saying you can't do it i'm saying it's much more difficult than it was a year or two or three ago um let alone 10 years ago when i started so uh good luck to you guys if you are uh it still is fun i mean i have fun going through it if this was a 300 locker that would have been fun i can't say it would have been terrific but it was still fun there's some cool toys i like toy lockers they're fun i like the fun stuff i don't like the boring stuff even if it's a money maker but this time 1800 that that soured it soured it for me so i know we're going to lose money when you take a chance and you take a gamble you're going to lose you're not always going to win i know i fully understand that and i accept the risk and i will accept the losses but eighteen hundred dollars that's a stiff dose of medicine this time around um and i'm not even sure if it fixed the problem the problem is i gotta buy lockers all right so this week there's some more coming up for auction a couple good ones let's hope they don't get canceled before
