[Music] wow [Music] okay so here get all the jewelry out put those up in the front i have a couple more in my bag somewhere hey dylan your wire came through today okay so here put this batman up in the front with my watches hey the platinum's logged into inventory right the platinum is yes the new one we got we're going to go ahead and put it out on display that was 90k right yes oh somebody's interested in that watch i think didn't we get to leave somebody once yeah yeah but i want to talk to anthony he wants it but he can't he doesn't want to pay tax basically you need a dealer need a dealer tax id or we need a driver's license in a non-taxable state it's the only way that will work uh this is the tutor we're giving away right yep yeah okay and this is the paddock that's sold yep uh when are we shipping that not till tomorrow because the wire hasn't even come through yet but it's from a dealer that we've been using cool there you go once we before y'all put all those in remember do gold all in one case like in this one all the all the solid gold stuff right there just get me shipping how much did the black sky sell for 20 500 to who who sold it nice you also had a lot of watches last week with us going yeah you did i was impressed dylan did really well uh when's your okay run me down when's your wedding the day is the 27th give me days okay i'll probably fly on friday morning then oh really okay yeah because it's just it's an extra night if we fly in we're taking me marco and darby all right so it's three plane tickets another night in the hotel yeah doesn't make sense holy sh oh this isn't new is it okay that scared me is this the 90 000 yeah not for sale i think the diamond baguette is so much nicer oh yeah i mean i think it's a whole nother level but still somebody was listening this is going to be a hundred dude do you know what the platinum baguettes are are being offered right now one sold for 120 a 2017 that was beat to sold for 125 unbelievable instantly i'm going to try to get another one real quick for 110. now i want the green patek with the diamond bezel the green patek yeah let me show you hey put this up front dylan said i can't get the green ap because they're only making 125 of them so now i want this oh dirty you would never wear this when the hell would you wear that what's up man how are you my safe would wear it just nicely yeah buddy which watch was it remind me oh yeah yeah need it polished in service please yeah what's wrong with it so the hour don't scratch anymore so when you try to adjust the hours you see how i think i broke gear or something because it's like it's no longer like if you want to change the time it moves smoothly inside oh yeah supposed to jump okay it's disconnected something because when you turn the minute hand the hour doesn't move either yeah um so it looks like it's just the uh that hour okay so it needs a service so service-wise service starts at 350. depending on what that part is you're probably looking at 450 to 500 okay for the service polish all in between six and 700 i mean but it'll be a brand new watch and have a one year warranty here put that in your bag that's it man all right buddy okay all right so put that in your bag so it doesn't get lost what's that birthday watch oh is that the actual day that i'll never wear birthday you already got your birthday watch i did it's dated on my birthday should i keep it i gotta pay for it today when should we buy this one guys you only have well i don't know if you want to tell you how much you have in your bank account we know we're broke we got it we're broke we know just temporarily share it with the world uh we got 41 000 coming in if you sent that invoice yeah i did but he hasn't viewed it yet so i don't know yeah it looks good with that white gold bezel or actually this would be a perfect watch to stack because i don't care if it gets beat up but i can't see you wearing a watch like that that's that's not you that thing you can't go from telling me how to live my life okay as your business partner i would never wear it how much did we buy this for 95. i think i'll tell you what you sell me your diamond to get watched and use those funds to buy the op 40. who's watching what is this i need to watch that's we just bought it for how much i don't know how much should we buy this for i'll tell you after i wear it one that i want all right maybe i'll buy this i didn't think twice twice then is it real huh is it real what do you mean is it real did you verify that this is real did you look did you okay you let me know yeah did it come with box papers ebay [Laughter] it's real this or turquoise for a vacation turquoise turquoise did we ever get the wire for for 21 000 okay got a yellow better hold this one or the blue milgauss that one right now the green op because they're going nuts dude if you're paying for it just pay for it today though i mean because we need money so if you can cover that watch cover it let me think remind me in an hour we bought this for 9k we owed a guy a wire today 9k yeah for what what is that new uh no it's a 2020. okay oh i'll sell it for ten five right now bring it to me it's gone he wants it i want it i need big bags oh well then what do you know somebody who wants it right now robert but you got to pay us a profit right now that will sell immediately right now i can get ten five immediately so i'll buy a 10k that's fine 10k i'll do i'm just debating between this and the op-41 turquoise for vacation are you only buying it for vacation and then what you're going to sell it maybe what are you running a business behind us he's running a business insider business i want the 41 for vacation i noticed he was on a spending spree he was like give me an ap green give me a yellow gold green a white gold blue a platinum baguette what do you think you just want half the inventory take your pick which row of boxes which one won't i lose money on in two months from now blue surfboards i won't lose money on yeah they're going up day just are going down this one might get discontinued dude it doesn't matter i mean it'll still be good but it's still a date just did i have this game they still make hundreds of thousands of them marco 2015 pre-owned batman it's complete yes here and make sure i have all of that in inventory 15 yeah 15. i'd like to pay for what batman what year 15 yeah uh okay guys i want all four of y'all marco's gonna do rolex and paddock i'm gonna do richard mill and ap dylan has iwc and what tudor yeah dylan's iwc and tutor alfred is omega and we've got breitling tag heuer hello i'll take cassio i'll do hublot i'll do hublot hey i want you with brandon actually studies tutor though so you like tutor okay that would be amazing and give trent tutor i want y'all to pick brands you like the point of it is going to be each of us are going to become experts in two brands that way every time a watch comes in just give it to the guy that knows the watch and what i want us all to do we don't sell a lot of brick and that's that's enough all right brigade we don't do a lot of the only two we've seen in assignments assigned two that we do a lot of and then you can go back and do a third one we'll make it in breitling so we need a breitling we need a we need a tag hoyer we need an omega so omega and breitling for alfred we sell tags we get offered tags a lot yes i mean we we sell a lot of them we don't sell a lot of them but we're going to because we're going to transition the business to consignment we're going to start focusing heavily on consignment and trade-ins so you're going to have to know i want everyone to become an expert in two brands whichever your two brands are go through and get all the current models and then last year's find ev like for panerai find every model panerai you can and get a picture of it get the model number the retail price and we'll break it down into 50 retail 40 retail 30 retail 20 retail so under every picture there should be a model number a retail price and the and the breakdowns i'll create a template for them that they can just fill in with them but what i would like is a poster for every one of them in the meantime there's going to be a poster of every brand it'll be printable yeah as a poster yes so whenever a watch comes in or an offer comes in you can look at it you see the picture you see the price and you can see you can see the retail price and you can see the what the 30 uh of that retail is because that's how we're gonna start teaching you to do comp searches so i want all four i want 50 40 30 20 because you'll gauge which one to choose buy the watch you want to take the lowest priced comp search subtract 20 percent in whichever number it falls closest to that's which one you'll pick you'll be able to do comps without even asking us if you follow that little formula i think okay but we're also going to start pushing heavy consignment you buy all three i'll throw this in at let me make 500 bucks whatever my cost is that's probably that this okay do you remember what we paid for that you can tell us a cost because i'm marking it at 500 bucks the bluesy the two-tone bluesy new the new dial 41. yeah so okay 16. yeah so that one this 51 is just the least i can do on that one and then this one i'm going to give you a break though you said uh 18 five on that one on that no you're abusing me bro buying over 100 almost 100 it's 85 for the package all carbs 85 and you have a dealer exempt right okay so no tax bucks um not for that no you're wholesale so or give me a wholesale i don't i need my boxes for the retails can they always give me one box yeah i'll give you one box so we got to deal with 85 five one box three watches hold on honestly again you're not gonna find deals in town bro i'm telling you dallas is stiff no i just found three deals where right here three deals [Laughter] you found three deals right here i gotta see my profit margin i wanna see if 85 grand is worse than that there's money in here i know there is especially in 500 000 a piece maybe yeah okay i mean if you're not being greedy you'll make money you're not gonna make 333 on each watch i'm not leaving you i'm not that skinny we're not that skinny here come on there's meat on the bone i could get 19 for that okay that's 500 you can get at least 53. i can't get 53 for this 52 okay that's 1500 that's 2 grand right there one this one 500. it's 2500 on the table that's healthy for me it's healthy for you you're making more than me i'm not you're great you're a great salesman i mean it's fair let me make a phone call he just walked in i don't really know him he just came in from the stream yeah it's hold on take him with you come back if you come on dude anthony how stupid do you think i am you let people walk out the store with watches all the time i didn't know that stop yeah i promise they won't cry but it might [Laughter] are you serious this is way more than ten dollars i told you it's like 15 like it was like plus tax it was like 18 dollars and 74 cents or something like that yeah it'll go on your wrist like this and i'm gonna size it to you okay but oh my god i think it's nice yeah oh my god i'm gonna cry he has a good taste and by he i mean i yeah this is everything i can imagine more i know that is that is the best if a woman's only gonna have one watch it needs to be that one oh no it's too much no come on look who we're talking about i told you ten all right dollars get him on the phone lauren is here picking up her watch and she's starting to cry i promise i wouldn't cry i said i'm gonna cry and he goes don't cry just watch it's so funny so he can make me cry too [Laughter] big oh this is a double quick set too yeah how does it fit with all the links off it's still gonna be a little loose but we can start cracking them off i'm serious that's what they do yeah if it's like bothering you following you let me know how to take it to a jeweler hey what's up kenny hey what's up mitch uh a couple questions on my car insurance with the audi i called this morning we were i was looking at my amex bill and i'm getting charged like 15 at 1400 or 1500 for insurance and when we originally set this up it was supposed to be like 7.50 so i called them and now they're saying that they originally registered my car as a classic and then that that got uh it was disqualified from that which i don't understand but then also they're saying my policy was canceled yeah so what happened is originally when like when you originally bought the car it wasn't wrapped with the company logo oh um and so when you when you wrap a car with a company logo it's used business use um and really how it should be technically classified and so you don't get the low mileage discount you don't qualify for some of the programs that they have out there for agreed value cars at a lower rate and then secondly did you make a youtube video driving around doing donuts or icy parking lots maybe where would they get that idea so what happened is they found that video and that's why it's cancelled oh well then yes i did make a youtube video doing donuts in the parking lot i didn't wreck though yeah i get it i i totally get that but they don't look at it that way i've got a another client that had a video i don't know four or five years ago in a lamborghini and he was speeding on video and because he has so many youtube subscribers it has now caused retim havoc on this stretch so am i uninsurable i don't think you're uninsurable it's just gonna cost more than a normal classic degree value policy okay well so let me take a couple phone calls around to a couple of writers i know and see what i can figure out and all that give me a shout out okay sounds good let me know all right thank you clearly they're not a fan of the channel jesus christ that channel has so many ups and downs it's got tons of upside but the downside the downsides really suck so drive carefully we're not insured right now all right dylan this ap has got to go to neil can you open all these out first there's a datejust in here that i need it's that little ladies this one actually that was easy i think we paid 6 500 then you added a bezel right because it came with that dial well no no yeah you own it but i'm saying i i bought it i remember we paid 6 500 then you added a bezel uh we're going to give this to melvin who melvin the guy that introduced me to dak today did you give him a watch already i'll give him a batman a while ago okay i i told him to do it it's first girl her birthday's in four days at first he'd ask me what's the like a cheaper rolex and i was like what's it for bro me which omega is that dark side of the moon one no the other one the one that we got from yeah i sold that you did yeah i sold that like a few weeks ago is it gone yeah it's gone oh [ __ ] okay well oh wait didn't you just post it no i posted this one oh [ __ ] no i'm not selling him that one for 6 500. what's our cost on that this is on consignment for 8500 oh yeah yeah yeah you didn't post it for 6 500 did you okay because as long as you didn't post that for 6 500 then it's not that watch hey what up what up hey that omega when did you see that ad that one that yeah you sold it like a week when you sell that two weeks ago how old does that add uh day before yesterday on instagram are you sure did you accidentally post it maybe i mean you can check look on your archive i was sitting here looking for it and he said dylan just walked and said he sold it two weeks ago okay cool still want the ap uh let me call you back in two minutes okay call me back i probably just lost that deal yeah do you have the pepsi you were telling me for 16.5 right here we don't have one for six what's our cheapest pepsi mike wants hang on let me ask him okay did you find me any of the other watches yeah no hey what's the bottom dollar in your pepsi or are you keeping it okay let me know okay hang on a sec it's too high hey so real quick how much do we owe we owe 89.5 right this i need tools can you put all of my watches out okay we gotta go i can't ever remember where this opposite oh there it is okay we're parking except for the owner's watch dealer what up you're good you're doing good man can't complain you yeah what's going on man that's my new videographer christian yes one of the new ones [Laughter] i don't know i thought it was pretty funny apparently that's not that's funny it's good to meet you brother oh that's yours check that out check that out yeah i got a man's side oh what are you wearing yellow gold green looks freaking dope yeah damn dude i had this watch a while ago mcgregor uh the green one well this one's nicknamed the john mara daytona because john mayer did a he did an interview on hadinki and went and said that how amazing this watch is and how limited it is and prices are astronomical here's the trade we're doing let me see that this plus cash for this one for a minute i'm glad you had it bro i was gonna do that i forgot we had i forgot we had i was wondering why you wanted a bat girl you're like this one it's like it's tiny on your wrist really yeah 44 is about as long as i can go i could probably get away with the 42 millimeter ap oh it fits more that's the biggest oh oh oh you know what that means when it fits perfect for a minute now that's a watch for you yeah that fit that fits your look and your style what do you think my next one should be for me rose gold sky or a rose gold did i have the ivory dial i know but i want that one do you have that one on the chocolate one the s'more one yeah i wonder if he still has that hey do you still have that rose gold sky-dweller i sold you the s'more these don't have they're not like rolex they don't have cards damn he just sold it really yeah yes call and see if it's still available my guy wants it hey or if you get a rose build ap blue or brown dial they're expensive oh no they're either and it just got discontinued did they really the 263 they came out with a new one but the 26331 model that like had a brown dial one that was my sold it oh yeah yeah yeah it's old to you yeah you know how much they went up oh yeah 20 grand 30 30 the brown dial went up about 30 grand the the blue dial is now brand new they're trading at like 93 94. are you kidding me no you know what pisses me off too same thing when i sold this watch i bought i bought my last one for 51 and i sold it for 60. i had it for two weeks and i sold it for 60 because i was gonna put the money in the business the day after i sold it we get the dealer we get the new dealer price list it's not on the new price list which means it's likely getting discontinued a day after i sold mine for 60 i bought it again for 65. um same thing with the rose gold blue we just had the rose gold blue ap i sold it for like 85 i think jesus four days later ap discontinues them this is dope dude let me know about ap dude even if you get even if you bought a rose gold blue right now i think i just don't want to lose money on them you won't lose them i don't even care about you you won't lose money it's not like buying uh you want me to list them off on camera hang on like a frank miller a white gold frank mueller tourbillon a hublot big bang thanks tourbillon dude you hate money yeah no i like it now now listen to anthony this is neil guys with linear roofing he hates money no i like it now if you like money deal with anthony don't deal with these other guys if i i can't say but just based on what's going on in the market right now prices are going crazy like i would not be surprised if two weeks from today that watch is 10 grand more ap already unveiled their new stuff so there's no surprise of what ap what ap is coming or what they're doing rolex is unveiling all of their new stuff on the 7th and the market go like on the first the market's gonna you're gonna see everything go for like right now it's already going crazy on the first it's gonna go even crazier every day leading up to the seventh and then depending on what they do on the seventh who knows but it's to be big i would not be surprised if that rose gold blue is 10 grand more in two weeks quit buying that bullet you're buying unless it's from you yeah you need to as always man you would actually if you had bought the last four watches for me i already know you could have given i could have given you that watch for free jesus hey anthony sorry i missed your call brother i was driving uh talk to me a little bit you're you're looking for an iced out rolex i'm looking for like a stainless oyster with a rainbow bezel or a jubilee with a like a pave dial and no rainbow bezel so you you said oyster and jubilee do this because since i don't stock those kind of watches the best thing you can do is send me a picture of your favorite look like go online on google or something find a picture of the one you like the most exactly how you want it and then send me a second option just i mean to help expedite the process it's it's best for you to send me your favorite look okay thank you for the call appreciate it welcome dude all right bye one two three four five six seven five twenty there's two you you cool thank you brother yes just just in that same thread yeah don't let him reach out yeah no that's the thing next week but they reach out [Music] all right boys y'all be good [Applause] hello hey what's up hey i wanted to talk to you about bailey did you get a free second uh yeah i'm driving i mean i just talked to marco for like half a second but tell me what's on your mind so let me start from the beginning so you remember before he had started uh he was posting watches before he was supposed to right there was there was that instance and then there was another time where we mike had just printed out the lead sheets uh and he had reached out to a client on there and it was no deal and that was before asking me or you if i was all right strike two in my opinion okay uh and then the third one would be uh he just now got banned from moda for bidding on a watch and then deleting his bid uh and then what was when was questioned by marco why did he do that there's there's literally no reason other than to just because i wanted to i just wanted i wanted to oh okay i think he needs a uh like a come to jesus meeting with one of you guys okay uh i'm just about to pull up and i'm gonna have lunch at ascension so as soon as i get here and get parked i will text you to send him down i'll talk to him i mean i get it we're not going to let him go or anything like that for that but we will put him on like a [ __ ] final he's eager like i i we could use him for sure but like he needs to slow down and he needs to hear that from one of you guys but i get it dude he's like eager well i can i can guarantee you what he wants is he wants to go off and do a deal that we don't know about that way he can surprise us with it and like kind of prove himself the problem is in this business if you do if you don't have all the education to start it with then he's gonna mess something up and he's gonna like that deleting bids if he had won that we'd be liable to pay for it all right i'll talk to him i'll send him send them down whenever i get here i'll text you i'll talk to them you know what you want to eat i don't know i have i don't know what they even have oh is that them you're not eating here before it's pretty good food i get like a tuna power bowl um so dylan called me dylan called marco and michael called me and then dylan called me obviously you got kicked out of moda right yeah tell me i think i already know yeah i mean i know what you did in all that yeah i think i know why you're doing that but dylan says that he's basically it's what he's saying doesn't get through to you i feel like you're like aggressive and you're anxious to want to jump into the business which is a great thing that's why you're here i understand yeah but you've got to understand that jumping ahead before you know the proper procedures and the protocols it can get you in trouble it can get us in trouble it can cost us a lot of money yeah erasing bids can't do that yeah first off until you learn until you become a salesperson with us you don't need to be selling and no one needs to be doing any buying yeah except marco and i if y'all find if y'all had found a deal you always bring it to us before you consider it a buy because even i even run everything by marco because stuff changes so fast in this industry yeah i'm what i think is a buy today may not be what was a buy yesterday may not be a buy today but because i don't focus on them so heavily and i don't pay attention to the buys so so as often as marco does i'm not even always up to speed so we always run each other we run it by each other for a reason so we don't do something wrong buying selling until we say this is what you can do you've just got to be careful because you you will make mistakes the bidding thing whatever dude i've you know erasing your bids i've in my early days i never erased bids i knew that but yeah for instance i i let my former assistant from a while ago post watches and he posted one like five thousand dollars too cheap yeah and whenever someone hit sold i erased that got me kicked out of several groups because they were like you know the problem is it's not people don't recognize that you obviously made a mistake yeah for like me whenever i did i made a mistake you know i did that and it got me in a lot of trouble i took a lot of heat early on because i was making little i was like i was super hungry super aggressive trying to go bigger and faster than i really could are they my skill set and it got me in a lot of trouble luckily i had marco there to kind of like pull you out of it counter balance like i still see the results of that and that was two years ago yeah there's still dealers that don't like me because they think i should have been out of the business back then but whatever that's a side story there's a reason we teach we're teaching y'all to slow down and do things because i want everyone that comes in with us that we give a full-time position i want you to be with us when we sell this company right i don't want you here for a year two years move off go do your thing i want you here helping us you know becoming part of this right the only way you're gonna last is if you do what we say i'm all for you wanting to be aggressive wanting to go out and and finally until you learn it you cannot reach out to leads saying the wrong things committing to something and then they call us and they're like well you're this guy said this right if you're not going to honor it then y'all aren't a reputable company right and it's like well he's new he made a mistake people don't care about that they they care about the fact that you sold them something too cheap or that you sold them something super cheap and now you're not going to honor it and that was why i deleted that post immediately which of course for one i should have known the rules yeah and that's on me yeah but two that was why i deleted because i was like you know what i don't want to get involved because i'm it's not what i'm supposed to do so i was just like oh retract instantly but obviously as you know well you put something on the internet that's so we're going to put you on i guess you're kind of an internship but on probation within the internship oh yeah for sure so i did that trust me i love the aggressive i love the ambition and pace yourself yes i can promise you if you go out there and you do something that we tell you not to do yeah and it costs us money absolutely you're gone yeah and you will never work in the business you just will not work in the business again because if you ever try to get in the business the fact that you've been on our videos you've been in some of the groups people in the business already know that you're part of us right if you stop working with us and you go somewhere else they're gonna reach out to us they're gonna be like what's the deal with him and if you cost us money and you screw something up within our business yeah we're going to let people know absolutely and it's going to keep you from doing that you don't want that we're the easiest people to work with we want you to grow with us and we're going to make you we're going to help you grow bigger and faster than anybody else will it's a process it works dylan worked for us for a year yeah before we put him in a group to start selling stuff yeah it took him a year to get there sure it will not take you a year we're going to need you way before that but you're going to have to spend the first three months learning the basics you come on as a full-time employee then you spend i'd say three more months like perfecting the lead generation the sales process i mean the the upload process the not gonna give him credibility oh the sweaty fat dude on that one channel that's it ah yeah yeah couldn't breathe while he's talking bro get on a treadmill my guy i mean that you're fogging up your room like i think i heard parrots and monkeys like in the background i was worried about him he's like running out of breath tropical rainforest in his camera he's like in the middle of bashing me about something it was like i thought i had like taken breath he didn't breathe he's like doubling up on his words that's like that's what like signing about to pass up you're like and then he said and then he said and then you could hear the windows like shutting down he was ripping on me because i'm in shape but i don't ever post fitness videos i will not get done it's a watch channel what was it was you that told me you could pay 50 a month to have your sticker put on his fridge [Laughter] okay so i went back and watched the video there's four stickers on that so he's managed to pay for his electricity a month actually i think my favorite part was when he was ripping on me for having six daytonas he's gonna be mad when i found when he finds out i bought another one but what's even funnier is he's like have six daytonas it's i don't know but tell me a collector that would not want six daytonas in their collection okay we have we have one room with a king bed one room with two retail it's a good one for status with an a.d but you're not going to be able to buy and sell it to a dealer and make money if you buy it and sell it on your own you may break even or make a thousand bucks but i can buy them on call for my dealer groups for at retail anytime i want i mean it's a good piece if you buy it i tell you what if you buy it and send it to me and can sign it for me i'll take a flat rate thousand dollar fee and i'll get you more out of it than you're going to get from any dealer yeah i mean i don't mind doing it that way and not losing i money say you're not going to lose money you can't buy you can't buy watches from an a.d and think you're not ever going to lose if you're trying to build status to lose it lose a thousand dollars and get 46 000 spin history that's not a bad deal you're missing the whole point you're going to write off a 46 thousand dollar spin history because you don't want to lose a thousand dollars but you want to buy you want them to give you a yellow gold green daytona that trades for 60 000 over you can't just you can't pass up deals from an a.d that you're gonna lose a thousand bucks when in return for buying that you're hoping to get a piece that's gonna make you five thousand to twenty thousand profit you're gonna give it away then uh i'll give you a call back i would call her right now and tell her you're on your way to get it i did she said it's in the window already she's doing the best you can okay yeah if you get when you get it call me back let me know okay all right cool all right all right bye poker chips will street or maybe oh dude look at the street oh i have an idea let's go stop traffic in the stoplight and y'all run out there and you get it with like where the bellagio and all that's at that's like the most lit up spot yeah i mean just we'll just stop traffic marco goes on one side i'll go on the [Music] other [Music] [Applause] what's up guys it is the end of week 12 and it's been an exciting quarter or a great season as we like to call it here uh so it's the end of season one quarter one whatever you want to call it uh jumping straight into the hell i was looking at that camera it's hard you're so aggressive on that put a hand on that exactly why don't you move why don't you just move that one a little closer look at him he's like he's all into it so i keep yeah okay he's obviously all right and his tattoos are fresh anyway okay do it again and the watch and see what's up guys it is the end of week 12 or the end of season one quarter one whatever you want to call it and you guys that have been following us know that every week we have a sales goal to get to our 35 million dollar end of the year sales goal i said that twice but whatever our weekly sales goal is 273 437.50 this week best week by far on record we beat that goal by 98 coming in at 540 850 which was 27 watches 21 went to retail and six went to wholesale and that was largely in part to the live inventory sale that we developed thursday that was a great sell-off i think that's going to become a normal thing a normal thing so guys if you're watching tune in every thursday we're still playing with it it was the first time we did it the first time we've gone live on youtube first time we've gone live simultaneously on two different instagram accounts so managing it was it was experience we learned yeah it was interesting you know we're gonna toy with a little bit we're gonna fine-tune it for sure make it better definitely fine-tune it and get it set up to where it is in sync with each other and you guys can follow along but the main thing's gonna be to follow along through the instagram accounts every thursday a few more of the numbers a lot of guys have always asked about profits losses you know we we do these high sales goals and we never disclose what we make i think we should change that and we're going to give you all what you want so of that hundred 540 fifty dollars in sales last week thirty thousand six hundred and fifty dollars was profit was about a nine percent return on investment and that was after we actually took a seven thousand one hundred and fifty dollar loss to a watch we gave away to a good client of ours so we went from a 13 roi to a 9 coming in with about just over 30 000 in profit last week so there's that as you guys know we like to give away stuff we like to fly people out to come spend the day with us we have adrian our winner from two videos ago coming in uh maybe later this week to visit with us and spend the day we've also got another one last week's video we asked you guys are invited you to share along social media and then come back and drop a comment drop the funniest comment and marco and i were going to go through and pick some out and we were going to pick a winner so did we pick one yes so you texted me one and i literally was driving uh and i just i was i bursted out laughing in traffic it was pretty funny it says client can i get 4 500 for this watch i'm selling marco whispers to anthony most we can pay is four grand anthony all right bud here's six thousand this is beyond the truth like this is absolutely true that happens all the time but you know it's okay we end up still making more money adrian orozco congratulations you are going to fly to miami with us and go visit iwjg i hope you are excited about this if you've never been to a watch or jewelry or diamond show it's it's it's an absolute blast you'll see millions and millions of dollars on a table this big you know as far as the eye can see hopefully if it's a good show there'll be tons of watches to see and it is the crit i remember the first time i went to a show i walk in and everyone's wearing like t-shirts and jeans and they've all got a backpack everyone's got a backpack and there's two things in the backpack a [ __ ] ton of watches and a [ __ ] ton of cash it's funny too because you went to probably one of the war shows i've ever been to really and you and you saw just that and you were amazed and you know back four five years ago when i went to the probably one of the biggest shows i've on record was the miami show back and i want to say it's 15 or 16 but it was like the entire it was like almost like it felt like you were in an arena full of watches it was like it was like a super bowl of watch i remember my i was in the business but i was early on in the business and yeah you're right i remember walking up the tables i was like holy this guy's got 30 aps and like four cases of rollins and all these richard mills and i think what was crazy was this guy like walked up and he's like how much for that that and that the guy pulled out a calculator and he was like oh 250 000 he wrote him a check and then we just walked off with four watches that was cool so adrian you're gonna get to experience that firsthand you're gonna come to dallas with us or maybe meet miami we're gonna see where you're at in the u.s uh adrian if you're watching this video reach out to us shoot us a message and we'll get in contact and we'll plan that gotta congratulate our boy dylan on getting married high school sweetheart true love this kid was more than ecstatic yeah you cried like little babies it was cute and we couldn't be more proud again congratulations man it was a beautiful wedding um it was a great time definitely loved coming out to vegas to see you do your thing and get married uh but on another note i did find it very funny that you wanted to hang us with uh hang out with us that night and i was like dylan it's your wedding you know spits out with your lady you're like all right but actually it was kind of funny he did want to come back and he was like we're going to go have dinner and we're going to hang out for a minute but i'm going to come back and meet you guys remember dylan happy wife happy life yes earlier in the video guys you saw me sit down with bailey and have a conversation um he pulled me out and wanted to talk and i thought it was just he was you know having some you know he was getting a little aggressive and wanting to move faster than our business allows and my idea was to sit and talk with him slow him down try to keep him from making a lot of the mistakes i made well after we cut the cameras he let me know that he was actually more interested in pursuing a career in real estate and that he didn't want to waste our time didn't want to waste his time that this is just a dream not this but the real estate venture was a dream he'd always had and he was very excited to have an opportunity presented to him uh the fact that he came and told me that and just didn't want to keep leading us on i respect you for that bailey i wish you all the best if there's anything we can ever do for you you know yeah please every time you helped us you showed initiative and i like that you're going to do well you ever need anything call marco and i on another note we did hire a new guy his name is vic i've known vic for about seven years he's actually probably one of my first 10 clients when i first got into the business when i was living in downtown hustling out of my backpack uh we met up and you know we've been good friends ever since you know he still buys watches from me and he's asked yeah he bought one yesterday i liked it and he was applying to work for a guy out in houston he was ready to relocate his life to houston and uh i was like dude if i ever have a spot open up i'll i'll call you and sure enough as soon as bailey um parted ways i called him emilio's like hey you know here's your chance and he just was like lit up like a christmas tree he was like oh my god you know the day finally came no he's got tons of energy he's a he's he's probably like a top he's no i know he's a top seller at uh at his car what is i think he went under honda yeah he was working at honda so he's he's a top seller there because he's we're always talking you know his sales number is our sales number so i think he's in a transition very well and i'm excited to have him so welcome to the team vic welcome vic looking forward to it uh we mentioned in the last video calls messages guys uh you know we do get overwhelmed with calls i had to take my personal number off the line because i just could not answer all day long um we're trying to filter those through as best we can we are in the process this week of setting up a new phone system a new follow-up system a new lead generation system to organize this stuff a lot better and get to everyone you do have to understand though between the phone calls the emails the messages the facebook groups the whatsapp groups the instagram messages through six different instagram accounts it's a lot guys so i do apologize if we can't get to you fast enough honestly you're not gonna bug me if you send us an instagram message and you send it today and we don't respond send it again tomorrow send it again tomorrow you know repetition it just keeps bumping it to the top the problem is someone sends one message today and it's there's 500 messages in front of it by the time i get to that message i've got 2 000 more messages behind it and it just i just can't get to them fast enough we're working on it bear with us give us another week or so to get the new system up in place and get everything organized again you got to remember three months ago we were we were a staff of four people now we're a staff of nine it's growing tremendously tremendously quick we couldn't be happier it's just it is still a learning process bear with us that's a little bit longer the network landing page guys below i drop a link in every video now where you can go on and you can leave your name the city you live in and your email you can get added to a spreadsheet that we are compiling a list it's a database for people in locations all over the us the world too but mainly the us right now because of travel what we're wanting to do is in the next quarter we're going to start organizing some city-wide meetups if you're in chicago la new york miami scottsdale wherever you're at drop your information below get on our list when we plan to come to your city we're going to organize a fan meet and greet a get together a lunch at dinner whatever our schedule permits and whatever we can make work with you guys enter that information below in the link that we drop i guess the biggest thing and the most important would be the subscribers youtube channel we started it five and a half months ago not really knowing where it would go how fast it would go and it's done tremendously well we've got 50 000 subscribers in five months that is absolutely insane so we definitely want to thank y'all for that yeah thank you guys so much for subscribing our channel it means a lot to us and it helps us grow and helps you guys learn more when we can put out more content for you guys so please keep up the subscriptions yeah i appreciate it guys um oh it's the investor we gotta take this one second hello hey uh hey what's going on dude not much uh i was just going to ask how uh you guys are doing business-wise uh business is good staying busy just got back from vegas uh funny you asked we just actually are filming our outro right now and we were just discussing our numbers for the week yeah uh 500 000 we did we doubled our profit goal from last week yeah about a 13 it was a 13 roi minus a watch we gave away that dropped us down to 9 so still not bad that's impressive i'm glad you actually called so marco and i have been working with you going on two months now and going back and forth between uh with you and your business partner on this investment we are at a point now where we need to get an idea what's on your minds we're talking about two and a half million dollars for an equity portion of the company uh we have we've we've postponed talking to other investors because we like you guys you've done business with us before i think y'all are going to be long great long-term partners but at this point we've got to get we've got to get to a resolution is this something we're going to pursue that we need to we can get into the nitty-gritty get into a contract stuff like that or is it not i guess we need to know where you and your partner stand so can you give us an idea right now where we're at all right guys what an exciting first quarter it's been with you gentlemen yep it's been very exciting lots of things done good times for sure yeah absolutely in the season 12 i'm sorry we're not there yet wait thinking sorry i've been planning ahead it's the end of week 12. quarter one season one whatever you guys want to call it and we wanted to take a little bit of time to just kind of recap the year so far that we've gone through maybe some of you viewers are just tuning in we're going to pretend like this is your very first video you watch this when you like it but you're not exactly sure what all we've done what all we've been going through so to start this segment off we have created a trailer that we want you to watch it's going to detail some of our some events some ups and downs some things that have happened between uh january and to present day to kind of give you a recap of where we're at and what we're going on and then i thought it'd just be a kind of a cool idea for us to all sit and talk about it after the video we also i put a poll on youtube yesterday asking you guys what unanswered questions went on out there that you uh want to hear about you know some things you saw where we started and maybe never finished it or got to an answer so we're gonna go through all those questions right after this clip monday january 4th first full working day of the new year uh objective of this two to three hour meeting is quite simple one syncing up on the goals for 2021 making sure everyone understands where the partner's minds are at yeah so your accounts all set up you're good to go you are the master admin i've been using your account okay to start hey marco what's up something's cool do you have any what watches do you have of ours i believe the blue one right yeah okay okay so there's that uh okay yeah do you know when that's ready uh yeah it's been it's been right here let's figure you wouldn't pick it up by now but yeah it's ready okay well i'll get that today i need to do a cashier's check but is it possible to squeeze out a wire uh the only time you would have available is 4 30 which is your cutoff time yeah okay i hate this bank it's just stupid it's like you come in here no matter what time of the day you come there's one banker working you have to schedule a wire you can never get in the same day that's why we're transferring big it's just it's a headache yeah we did find them yeah they were in dylan's trunk all right oh i was about to say on the flip side where it's like yeah whatever i got it's a lesson learned but i'm not going to lose 10 grand and you only you only lose money when you sell it right now you haven't lost money i mean technically you haven't lost money yet if you sell it you lose money the only chance you have in the long run of recouping any of that is to eat the loss now but put it into something that has the potential to go up that you actually enjoy wearing so here's how you write this off you made a mistake you didn't know i've made hundreds of thousands of dollars of mistakes you have to you can't focus on how am i going to make my money back on this how can i make it back on something else you have a pepsi right now at 12 grand i'll give you if it's pre-owned i'll give you 17 grand for not pre-owned that's brand new sticker is still on edge but has he worn it a lot of people leave stickers never been worn then i'll give you 18 grand for it so you buy it at 12 you're up six just roll that profit into that that's watch trading thank you all right buddy for that first one uh yeah i'll give you the amounts there's the wire on this on february 7th was over 25 000. the wire on the 11th was for 13 600 the wire on the 25th of february was for 10 500 and the wire on june 5th was for 17 100. i'd have to i've got to look through all my notes but yes i remember we sold him several watches what else did we sell eric i'd have to look back in my notes in a while but i've got them here i'm looking through my spreadsheets you know my purpose in calling you is strictly for information i'm not i'm not trying to pursue any kind of claim against you or your company i know sure all the transactions were legitimate but the problem with the transactions is is that he was using money that didn't really belong to him to make these purchases so um for that reason we're investigating the transactions thank you so much for your time you're welcome buddy you guys you're way faster though we gotta make it right shoot come on you messed up come on come on come on coach we're not gonna force ourselves to buy something yeah i don't want it nope 18. nickel and dimes for 200 bucks i don't want the watch you're telling me this guy has all this money in the world and he can't like he can just stock all these watches but he nickels and dimes us for two hundred dollars dude i hate that he's paying 18 let's make something we're gonna make money why can't we make 200 bucks because we're selling yeah because we're selling all of his other stuff and he's making money dude he's that's just like what she used to do is he's making money on everything you're being too aggressive the whole thing is i want to protect our baby it's like does it make sense to take an investment or does it make sense to keep going at our own route and build it that's what i if that's the decision you're gonna have to make on your own yeah yeah it's long term what we want long term we want to grow it the big thing is you got my car with our banking relationships and you know our that's a phone call right right so that's what we're bringing to the table right i want you to holler at me okay i shared you all this stuff text me tomorrow let me know what time i want to hop on a call so we can get on a conference call so i don't know typically how much gangs go for um what do you know the price ranges to be this will be the first gang i've ever purchased i don't need a life-size one i don't need someone that's you know as tall as a human tabletop one about a foot tall 10 to 12 inches okay all right you have like 10 platinum are you have like a platinum daytona platinum baguette daytona you've got 10 paddocks and you don't want to sell anything you're a collector you're not a watch dealer anymore you're a collector yes yes sir that's what i am okay dude this thing's cool [Laughter] your clients are gonna start asking you why you don't have oh he hung up [Laughter] as always guys when you're in frisco you have to come to edico i s i used to say idoku but they corrected me and said ediko so it's idoku etiko i don't know but look at this look at the size of that but that's i mean that is that is a huge bite what'd you get here turn around i got the riceless rolls salmon stuffed with crab and i'm not sure honestly what this is yeah how do you like this that's right thank you it's it's a terrible thing so why does it have a rolex emblem they they do that to people that don't know they'll write rolex all over it put the logos all over it because people that don't know these watches and haven't ever seen them they think that they're real and they're not i can promise you it's fake that's what the guy at cash america pawn shop said it's fake it is he was right this humbly go on the train is trying to get off the train with it and steal it from me i would i just went to the room i would throw it away so you don't get yeah yeah he's robbing me of it thinking it's real i want i'm trying to get it down to the rolex building yeah i would throw it in the trash it's fake i found it on mockingbird station oh yeah it's still faint kind yeah i mean there's a ton of stuff wrong with it here let me see can i show him this real quick see that sorry i walk outside to head off to the gym and i got this beautiful surprise they're gonna leave it there [Music] yeah it doesn't have to push the car this is the worst thing that can happen welcome back watch people and today i'm absolutely delighted to introduce you a watch tuber that i actually take the time to watch myself and for a very good reason and that's because anthony farah also known as the timepiece gentleman is quite a rare commodity in the youtube world in the fact that he's an active watch dealer as well as a very busy active watch youtuber anthony welcome to the channel thank you paul and i i'm also a fan of yours man i've been watching your videos for well over six to eight months looks like it's broken right there hello hey uh you talked to a guy earlier with a deep sea and a blue dial milgauss yeah he wants to trade him in both 2019 complete what do you want to pay for them okay one two six six six zero yeah i mean how does it look this is this one's basically new yeah this is new okay i pay 11 on that what about the blue one slider blue slider i'll paste come out to valet i want to show you something that's yours holy sh how much are we paying you get in man dude all right cool sushi table right here until you know what to do with this he's sitting here the whole time okay dude i'm never flying commercial again i've already decided hey okay just sitting here i'm never flying commercial again can't do it i'm only doing empty legs all right [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] this is an attempt to collect a debt um but he decided to send the watch back a week later so um let me get some money and uh i should have it for you today though all right around so cool unless you have something i can rip from you yeah i mean got anything cheap ooh i know what you have what does he got yellow you got like 18 yellow gold green daytonas 18 that's it five it's pretty much the same thing and what only two of them are for sale okay let's talk about them i told anthony i'll still use one for 59 i just bought two i just bought two brand new ones for 62. okay so two grand for brio exactly not on that one it's not a date just since you owe us money let's just take it at cost and we'll call it even get out of here okay run me over the numbers of them i will sell you the 16 for 59 000 no too much i'm going to leave it to fate i'm going to let you call it i'll keep it if it is what you call okay go ahead tails uh-oh nope heads that's two or three oh you just want to keep it best two or three okay so i'll call it and get heads heads tails all right one more call it in the air tails do you want the answer it's heads well it fell off the table it doesn't count tails heads that's three or five tails i'm not good at this i'm gonna keep it it's a good investment piece this is not a fair this is not how you make financial [Music] decisions [Music] hmm [Music] hey man hey i just got word from a few people they need y'all to uh to leave the parking lot for now we can't stay here no not right now um i'm getting a bunch of complaints just from customers and everything but we're having so much fun [Music] so [Music] [Music] look either way it's a nice dial i wonder if you could throw a service dial in it and then just sit on the dial for the right watch the other one's definitely been it looks like we loomed or watergate yeah it definitely has dirty plots i mean this one looks like an eyeball that's kind of crazy that looks like a straight up eye look at this look at the seven o'clock marker it looks like a illuminati eye these watches are brand new they're 20 21s they are fully stickered barcodes clasp lugs everything what i want to do today is i'm going to peel these off to show my loyalty what i just won both of them we're gonna do it right you're pulling the stickers off those yeah what do you think it was a review i thought you were reviewing the watches you gotta be crazy i'm showing my loyalty to the brand i [Laughter] let's get that barcode sticker off of there some of these stickers are tough i wonder the ads miss them sometimes cause now i'm just getting annoyed i just want to wear the watch i'll probably still miss some i'm gonna wear this watch forever what's the info sure log in i don't know let me just open it yes check it out you know how long i've been searching for this watch today i thought it was complete but it listed it as complete the guy bought it as combined all right ready yeah go ahead [Music] um [Music] all right um well i just wanted to say thank you to anthony and marco and mike and everyone else for making this trip so amazing such a blast okay package deal and you have to buy a ladies piece okay let's see and we'll give you rip prices and then okay you know how it is though no but no boxes these are for retails green p 41 12 20 20 brand new okay and blue 41 move your i'm sorry okay and then this the blue is december 2020 brand new also the date just is 19. 2019 pre-owned and then uh i don't know if you want this hulk but you got the hulk gotta take the whole cause package okay the hulk is uh march 2019 oh what's that what oh it's almost my birthday grab a calculator because we have to punch this in okay the hulk's 2019. all right where's the white white daytona also white ceramic daytona is 20. where's it at what's the card so 10. i'm going i'm sorry all right 10 250 on the green 14 on the blue yup 85 on this pre-owned yup 17 on the hulk yup 49 750 and then the white daytona are you taking the white daytona no no white dot you don't want a white ceramic daytona i have one you hate one oh i'm sorry oh it's the best oh my god actually i'm not gonna open it up i'm gonna let the client open it you've got the john mara daytona which is this one this is the same watch but with a factory baguette bezel black or white which one you like more i like i like the black that's yours you're joking nope square us up on that we're good we take care of you i'm gonna i'm gonna pay you the difference on that can i do two orders of like four carne asada tacos yes please all right thank you thank you dripping everywhere they were falling apart though yeah it's full of uh juices those tacos are amazing if you are ever out in actually i don't really know where we're at but there is a 99-cent store and a tent so look for the tent and go to this taco truck those are bad [Music] your kermit what year is it i think it's 2005 for 2 000 it's not what year's flat four too late it's a 2003 right it's not a flat four is it no oh okay i couldn't i couldn't see it from far you can't tell yet okay yeah this guy's about to meet me somewhere so i'll let you know if i find anything i'll let you know if i find anything interesting okay all right all right bye [Laughter] look at that which one zoom into the daytona it says it looks like a daytona but it's a geneva [Music] wow oh my gosh the law ferrari one of these days how do so driving up here these roads are horrible how does that not destroy your car there's seven speed bumps yeah and you have to i felt bad on this car how are you good can we check in yet yes come here buddy it's fair wow oh is it a toolbox yeah okay what was the last yeah we're gonna get we're gonna take it to the room all right so look see look right up there i'm gonna ask your favorite part in a minute all right guys as you can see it's been another eventful week we've just finished out week nine of the 52 week series where you're following behind my business in 2021 to reach my sales goals i've got my son soaring here i'm actually on vacation which is why it's at night and we're filming i'm trying to squeeze this it's sunday evening by the time you're watching this video it'll be monday afternoon so we're trying to get this outro in but i'm here vacationing with my son soarin and we're having a good time do you have a good time today tell them what'd you do today what was your favorite part about today hey well the first time he's ever been shy in his life god i love this watch this will probably be one of the only dress watches i ever owned that's the 42 right yeah paddock 5905r 42 millimeter rose gold chocolate dial annual calendar i just need the serial number so i can get the invoice sent out is it not on the inventory well it never had it it's a yeah it's a blue dial stick all right i need that and then the chrome 24 sale that you made for the tutor black based studio no so it's trusted check out so we have to ship it and he has to receive it then they kick the payment later oh yeah okay so we can ship it safely yeah well the problem is hang on with chrono now what's the deal they changed something well chrono they're gonna have to change the address to the uh you're gonna have to put the auto put in the information what is it a tutor yeah it's a 3000 just send it to his house i don't care okay yeah i just sent it straight to his house then don't hold it oh that's really just 14 fives what they sell for but just to get rid of it i'd do 13.5 just rip the checkup it's better rolex is better than cash anyways cash is just being printed everywhere i mean if you if they're running the printer depending on what they did if you really want to wear the watch and you really like it that's a piece at 13 500 i think you'd be safe that watch is not going to go buying it wearing it wait till after rolex does all their discontinuing and stuff this month or early april and then by summer sell it and you could break even what is the retail on that official calendar that is a bad it's so i wouldn't take less than 25 i think 25 is fair and i think you guys yeah so 32 we're buying this can sign this this will take a week to sell we're going to net you 31. i'm taking this at 35 i'll pay by tuesday our biggest fan [Music] look at that man future collectible right there i might be getting a pepsi but my children are teasing me to get a taxi the digit is already on video that means you have to get it no you need there you go [Music] oh you didn't know he just hired me i'm shaking oh my god i'm shaking there you go so what's so why does your cousin have to do this at a bank like why does it have to be done that way you weren't going to be at a bank if you came to my store you're going to be with me and the same money counter that i have in my bag and the same pin that i mark every bill with that that's was how this deal was going to get done in texas i brought all this to you on your home tur on your turf not your home turf i brought it to you at your convenience and we and we can't get it do it hey you know what never mind you this is wasting my time [Music] pieces [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh all right so exciting uh first thing i want to talk about is you guys either your most favorite or your least favorite event that's happened since we started this series we'll start with marco the least favorite i was definitely having the credit card fraud situation yeah um i mean losses suck but it is a part of business but i mean that's more i i look at that more like you and i really did have the you know intuition that something was wrong but we still kind of proceeded because it was like a really awkward situation because it was kind of like all right well what if this is okay but you and i just still had that like oh no this guy seems kind of weird you know i think for now moving forward from now on on those type of deals like we're just going to cut the sale if we don't like something it's just no point to take the risk if especially like you know the first sign is like your gut feels bad that's always the first sign of defense you know so yeah what's your favorite i don't know why this is my favorite but i guess it utilizes my skills but i loved just catching those kids right and right in the act trying to sell us a fake watch man i was just like yeah this is this is where like this is where my time to shine is like anytime somebody hands me a fake watch i love that i could just instantly tell especially with roman like that was a funny situation that was yeah that was one of my favorites where i bet him a dollar that i was like he got me because it was like a dealer handshake watch you're there in his in his studio and you think uh there's you know you don't even that's the last thing in your mind i just thought he was wanting to see where my pricing was but then yeah i bet him a dollar i was like go try that marco i bet you a dollar he doesn't last three seconds it was like one second it was like yeah cause like the first thing i always look forward and somebody hands me watch is like what's going on with the watch i don't care who hands it to me i'm always gonna be like let me see this what about you dylan you've been here the second third longest my favorite part favorite part had to be when we went to that carson cantina show and we set up the cars in the booth it was really really cool seeing how many people recognized marco and anthony walking around uh seeing everybody wearing their watches and cars go hand in hand together that was such a cool experience and we got to see daniel mack there yeah yeah so that was awesome least favorite um i don't really have a least favorite i guess the least favorite week would have probably been that snow week just because it was a tough week for everybody we were snowed in so i had to work from home a lot other than that i mean it was just a great great season all around had a ton of awesome points what about you mike lee's favorite was snow week so we're closer to the office so we came in and we worked here in the shop and i think i froze my feet off and my hands off a couple times and i'm still dealing with the after effects of gangrene from that um oh god that was i did set here yeah in my big coast i remember yeah it was literally i don't even know what brand it was literally 45 degrees in this shop we were already concerned about the darby yeah that one darby had already had it wow both darby and i would say had it pretty bad oh yeah and your house got my house got completely flooded i was out of my house for two weeks i thought that was gonna be your worst experience but that's less more personal i don't know i'm a little bit more like the cost as much as credit card fraud right i gladly write a check for his and we can have the money back from the family that's the credit card that's just hotels and whatever and my favorite experience was that same week so we came back that monday after the storm and we had a hell of a lot of packages coming in and we had even more that needed to go out from back orders and we came together as a team in that one day and we cleared all the inventory we got all the packages out and i said all right i knew i was a believer before but now i really see what kind of potential this team has uh and that was my kind of that's what propelled me to move forward with this venture nice my favorite i'm going to say is when you and i were touring the office up here it's kind of a stretch but it was we were two in the office up here we're actually looking at office space upstairs and we're about to settle on one and our leasing agent mentioned she's like i don't think you guys will want it because it's small but it's ground floor retail and i was like well take it it was a year ago you and i were hustling watches on my dining room table a year before that i was a typical backpack dealer i was i you know dealing with uh a box full of breitlings and tags and panerai i remember i walked in here and it was the day that all the tiles had gotten put on the wall and that was when it kind of hit i was like holy [ __ ] it was coming vision's coming alive so least favorite honestly i'll tell you i hate being lied to that whole sebastian that gave me a bullet story when i'm saying look dude i know what the deal is you're lying to me don't do it and he continued to lie to me that's probably my least favorite instant another thing i wanted to talk about guys is we've got we've gone from three employees to nine employees now and one thing i noticed was that i would get people i would send mike i'd send clients your contact info and they'd reach out to me like who's the scammer so i thought it would be a good idea to introduce our entire staff so everyone knows who they're dealing with obviously you've got marco and myself you guys know dylan our lead sales manager you guys know mike this is our operations manager also behind the camera which you can't see we've got darby our head head videographer and photographer we've also just brought in christian who's going to be darby's assistant on the sales team we have alfred he's going to be our sales guy number one sales associate sales associate number one we have trent who's going to manage a lot of our back end and social media we recently let bailey go as i mentioned or actually bailey went on to other ventures and we've replaced him with vic who's going to be starting uh next week i believe or maybe coming in on thursday he'll be in the next video i'll be in week one or week 13's video season two as the moment because i know people are gonna ask we are fully staffed right now um we get a lot of requests for people wanting to come in and work for us right now we are we've got a good team we've got some training we've got a lot of training to go through we've got a lot of structural organization we've gotta figure out so for the time being we're good on sale on staff on everything if and when the time comes we need more you guys will be the first to know so uh yesterday on youtube i asked you guys what are some of the unresolved things that we never answered stuff you saw in the video stuff you see on social media that we've never answered i wanted to know what you guys were interested in and we're going to answer all those questions to the best of our ability today so first thing i want to mention is customer service because i was reading i read all the comments um yes customer service has been an issue with us it's because of the rapid pace at which we're growing we have eight instagram accounts three facebook groups dozens of whatsapp chat groups we have text threads between us we've got emails we've got phone calls text messages between two phones one phone two phones two phones i mean it's a lot guys so we do sincerely apologize to anyone that we have not followed up with consistently if we've not been able to get back to you maybe we started a text we started an initial conversation and weren't able to follow up again we do sincerely apologize as i mentioned in the outro we have a new phone system we have a new lead system we have we have all these things in place it's just getting everyone on track and on page on the same page to do it all so again bear with us we're working on it we're going to make sure that every call text email whatever it is it all gets answered and responded to so the other thing the next biggest announcement our show is now moving to tuesdays we've decided that because of the length of the videos and the quality we want to put out we cannot get them done by monday because as you guys have seen we're traveling a lot on fridays and saturdays and sundays which means darby our videographer doesn't get back home until late saturday evening he spends all day sunday editing then he has to go back through and do captions getting a video out on monday we've realized we're either going to sacrifice the captions and the quality or we are going to delay the video and get it to tuesday and you're going to get all that in one so we think it would just be more appropriate to start posting every tuesday at 10 a.m we've also got a new social media calendar that we are going to introduce something for you guys every day of the week be it tick tock videos youtube collaborations instagram lives our actual youtube videos so stay tuned for that in the next video let's jump on into the questions so the ultimate question is this who is marco everybody knows who i am in my story but not a lot of people know about marcus so we've been talking about that and we are gonna do a video so pay attention for that to that in the next week or two we're gonna do a story just on marco it's not gonna cut into the day in the life it's gonna be a video about marco how he got in the business how he got started where he sees the business going the same as what i did let's go to the next question what ended up happening with the scammer also what ended up happening to the two guys who backed out of the deal the one who backed out because the watch was broken the platinum daytona and marco was worried about slandering him and the recent one you flew out to on your birthday so the credit card scam yeah so on the credit card scammer we're still working uh with the police on that it is a very difficult following up with police reports right now because of covid they have offices closed you can't just go and make a police report you have to go through these different systems which i've tried and they're down right now so i've been communicating with a particular officer who's actually a friend of ours so um it is you know there will be more to come on that yeah the two guys who backed out for the date on the on the day it was the partners on the platinum daytona they're still sticking with their story that it's broken whatever they're just that watches yeah there's a lot of dealers in this industry that'll just string you along they want to live they want to live out the lies it's just i don't know why they do that but they do that anyways the recent one on my birthday again you know i don't know if it was maybe it was a troll from the get-go that it seemed a little odd that someone would have me fly out there and i met every requirement or i tried to you know cater to any worries he would have and still couldn't make a deal happen so in my opinion that guy's a goal he meant he did what he meant to do or he did what he intended to do from the get-go but i don't care it's part of the business so how much do you guys spend every month on nick and sam's i don't want to know i really don't want to know um that's a mic question mike oh i know exactly how much yeah well i'm not saying are we within budget no oh okay well speaking okay okay how far over budget couple grand that's not bad yeah this is just one dinner yeah yeah we just got one day i was reading through all these questions there's a lot of questions people want to know and there's a lot of concern or whatever you want to call it where people are like these guys are going basically saying we're going to run this business into the ground because of our lavish lifestyle the way we spend you know that we possibly couldn't be making enough money to support this we we know exactly what we spend we know exactly what we make and the idea for us this year one it's a volume game we are cranking out dozens and dozens of watches a week focused on volume building our name and if you think back to a company like amazon when amazon came out they had an idea that they the idea was not making money they actually proposed to their investors they were gonna lose money for what five six seven years at least before they they were going to lose hundreds of millions of dollars but by the time they started to become profitable you could not buy a product without hearing amazon's name essentially now i'm not comparing us to amazon but it's essentially the idea if we make a hundred thousand dollars this month in profit and we go spend 80 000 of that on going out on cars on eating out on traveling on stuff because it's developing what it's doing brand recognition it's it's giving us content for youtube it's marketing in a sense whether someone wants to say it or not it's building our business if we weren't ordering sushi and flying on a private jet which we didn't pay for it was free yeah um the sushi was paid for we didn't pay for the jet i'm still paying but it's those little things if we weren't doing those it wouldn't have content that drives you to our youtube channel which in turn drives you to our business to buy watches we are very aware of our spending yes we spend an absorbent amount of money on this luxury lifestyle but that is what sells that's what gets engagement on youtube that's what drives business to our business and then as far as there's a comment in here about how do you guys make a living on the soca one thousand dollar margin we don't only make a thousand dollars on a watch we make we lose money on watches we break even on watches we make ten thousand dollars on some watches a thousand dollar margin average is just to give us a baseline so like when dylan comes to us and says how much can i flip this for really quick he already knows the idea is a thousand dollars margin per watch and if you're selling three or four watches let's say i've got a guy wanting to buy four watches i know that i average i need to average 4 000 on this package so if i break even on one but i'm gonna make two on another that equals it out if i'm gonna lose a thousand dollars on one but i'm gonna make 5 000 on another i'm okay with that the thousand dollars is just a baseline that is not all we make one guy was talking about the expensive watches we have in our collection okay so the expensive watches in our collection is i don't take a salary so i've i've kind of paid myself with those watches and that's also a safety net for us in the event something ever catastrophic happens i have a collection at home that i could restart which i've this has happened to me in the past so i know this model works for me and i'm sure it'll work for anthony if something happens all gone up in value obviously everything we pick has a you know um very specific you know gain in mind and then you know i was going to do real estate but man that market is just so insane i wanted to buy houses this year but that's like forget it i'll i'll make more on watches for the same money uh for my collection i'll give you guys a secret someone's asked me once before about financing a watch you'll get those guys that say oh if you can't afford to buy it don't i disagree if you know how to make your money work for you better finance it pay a small interest if you buy the right watch it's going to go up in value so for those guys out there that are trashing me on my daytona's and my personal watch collection when yes two months ago three months ago whatever it was i was selling my watches to put the money in the business well first off i was selling watches that i wasn't attached to because the money could be better utilized in a business i sold some of them put the money in the business but i pulled that money right back out and i bought some daytonas i have a collection that i've spent essentially spent about 400 000 on i haven't pulled 400 000 out of my bank account i haven't pulled 400 000 out of the business to buy those so here's a little secret i only technically own about half those watches that are paid for about 200 000 of that i have on loans very very small interest loans from personal friends that had money sitting aside i have a really good friend that said you want to buy those watches pay me a half percent borrow whatever you need i bought this at a hundred and ten thousand on a half percent loan a month which i pay i don't know four or five hundred bucks an interest a month on 500 bucks a thousand whatever it is i bought this two months ago and it's already up 40 000 in value so it was i mean so that's that's the idea plus the watch is gorgeous and you get to wear it really quick exactly plus i get to wear it so i'm not out that money i'm paying that money off slowly at a very very small interest rate but the interest rate nowhere near trumps the amount of money i'm earning on the on this watch in the secondary market all right so another question is we often talk about shipping internationally being a mess and handle maybe a segment for international buyers and your plans to allow for smooth transactions outside the u.s so this is going to be more so on logistics and fedex and so forth we typically don't like shipping internationally with covid going on i know some guys are doing it smoothly and i'm working on figuring that out the biggest drawback is obviously liabilities and the biggest requests i get is from australia and and uk london so forth but the thing is i get a lot of guys that'll ask me to do weird things such as claim low request order or you know some kind of like service order right and they want to label it that way and i'm all for it but at the end of the day it's like is it worth it you know is it worth the risk not so much you if you guys are going to have us ship something to your country just understand that we're going to do it by the book you're going to get paid you know if you have tariffs you have tariffs if we buy something from you we're going to have to pay tariffs here's the issue with that that people don't think about is you want us to ship let's just say a 10 000 watch you want us to ship a ten thousand dollar watch but you want us to claim it as a thousand dollar value because it's a service repair the problem with that is if whenever you ship through customs they want you to write on the customs charts how much you're declaring for insurance so here's what's going to happen you do that you write on customs that you claimed it as a thousand dollar insurance but on your actual insurance label you insured it for twenty thousand dollars that watch gets lost guess what the insurance companies are going to go the first thing they're going to do is they're going to see what you reported on your customs label because if you're trying to skip paying import tariffs and vat taxes by claiming a low value well then the insurance companies the insurance company is going to go after that value so that that ten thousand dollar watch you just lost is now worth a thousand bucks to the insurance claim so again there's a lot of logistics that i have to look into it i mean i would like to obviously sell you guys watches in australia especially i'm getting two three requests a day from australia so i am i'm working on expensive to buy there the reason people from other countries want to buy from us is because our prices here are cheaper it's just like right now if i buy a watch from hong kong it's cheaper it's it becomes more expensive when you bring it across a border the import taxes are what make these watches expensive in your country canada is a great example i get so many calls from canada the problem is shipping a watch from here to canada it's like a 13 tax yeah and and they're so limited on supply so it's almost it doesn't make sense to buy from it plus it unless you fly if you want to fly save a 500 to a thousand dollars but then you risk paying us for the watch and it getting lost in customs then your money's tied up until insurance pays us out which could take six months which just has taken six months then you got covered then you've got the riots for a long time ago but you've got all these delays in shipping it's just international business is really tough right now but the biggest thing is import taxes and like marco said we're not going to manipulate it's not worth it to our business we have enough u.s business we're not going to manipulate documents documents we're not going to over declare we're not going to under declare we're not going to do anything to save a few bucks it's not worth it to us because most of the time those watches are 10 20 30 40 000 and you lose one of those that cost us a whole week's worth of work uh next one is might be too personal but what does the real balance sheet look like debt versus savings revenue only tells part of the story is this really a long-term wealth building business well as i kind of just explained and an easy way to explain it is yes we are spending a lot of money if we make this much money in profit a month we probably spend about this much of it going out doing the things that are essentially marketing whether someone wants to label it or not people are watching our videos because it said private jet because it said ferrari because it said hundred and fifty thousand dollar daytona that stuff gets people to watch our channel you have to have a like that money to make money you have how would it work to make money right bottom line another thing too is like jewelry businesses are typically established for for the life long ride of you know the people running them like they run these businesses till they basically get pass them down to their kids one thing one secret i'll share with you is just you i'm not gonna use exact numbers but let's just say marco and i had five hundred thousand dollars of our own cash in the business we do all these all these deals and everything and every month we earn a hundred grand if we go spend 100 grand on all the stuff we want to do and then next month we so we start the next month with the same 500 grand we earn another 100 grand and we go spend it and then we earn another 100 grand and we go spend it we've still not gone below our 500 000 that we initially started with we're just spending all the profits we're getting bigger because we're focusing on more consignment yes we are spending a lot of our profits to do all these things which in turn is bringing us more business so this week it's a hundred grand next week it's 110. next week it's 120 next week it's 130. as long as we never break below that cap of 500 that we started with that's getting us that hundred thousand consistently technically we're okay is it the ideal way that most people would own a business or run a business not at all but the guys that are running where they're putting 100 of the money back in the business are not picking up the traction that we are in the short amount of time right and it's not like loose spending it's not like you guys aren't strategically thinking about where those dollars are going sometimes nick and sam's great example of one but although that does have its own strategy too right so it does every time i go to nick and sam's i've i've said this in another video where when i used to go to moxie's i picked where i wanted to sit and i strategically sit next to people wearing watches same thing with nick and sam's it's it's a treasure trove of of old money new money young money flashy money it's just there's a lot of money there there's a lot i've met so many clients at nick and sam's i've become i can walk in there wearing sweats and flip-flops if i want i go there so much i get introduced i know all the staff i get introduced to everyone where i work out my trainer melvin uh we've given him two watches now it's all networking it's all marketing i added it up one time for a month every for every 500 i spend at nick and sam's nets it doubles i think is how i added it up i have not seen this tracker yet it's in one of my i'd like to if i went to nick and sam's every day by myself and i spend 200 on dinner and i meet one client a week that comes and invites us to watch at our bear average i'm spending a thousand dollars to make a thousand dollars but i'm picking up a client if that client stays a client sends me one referral then i made my money but we don't just sell watches for a thousand dollars and typically whenever i'm selling a watch from like to a guy that i met at nick and sam's or in high-end establishment they want something big something flashy they want instant gratification there's more money to be made one more point on this topic the car a lot of people see you know make comments about how over the top the car is and already why did you put the name or the r8 do you know how i put the name of the cup but so many people come in saying oh this is where you guys are i just saw your car roll up here or the only reason why i came in is because i saw the car outside and there you go it's money well spent even the cars a lot of people don't understand how affordable it is to actually own those cars i mean we put 50 000 down on it which is money we earned last year and pulled out of our personal accounts and then our payment's like fifteen hundred dollars a month seven seven hundred dollars a week a month is what it cost us to own that car we wrapped it and like you just said it's parked out front people come in all the time they see us driving it's social media it went famous on tick tock yeah it's it's endless the car's paid for itself yeah yeah like all the way through we've had so many clients come in because of that car yes and i you know we drive it everywhere yeah so i find that people see the spending but it's not actually it's frivolous it's frivolous spending but it gets people watching it it gets people coming into our store it's you know can it be controlled a little better sure that's what you're there for right all right next question here's a good one actually um what was your most profitable day and or watch in your career so far we did a vintage newman and we made about 60 grand it was a collector that inherited a bunch of watches and he'd gotten offers from a lot of the local dealers called us up saw us on instagram and asked what we'd offer and the offer we threw out we didn't know until after we made the deal but happened to be 50 grand higher than the best offer he had gotten so naturally when marco gave him a price he's like yes if you can come like come out we'll do it yeah we flew out and we bought these watches and i had a strong end user for it so i wanted to but the end user yeah the end user that that i had in mind for was already like paying so strong for that watch i was just like yeah okay well my day will come all in all i think that was about an 80 grand day but that one single that one single watch was about 60 000. i know this might be a personal question but could you or marco have done this by yourselves and made it as big for now i don't think so i think it would have been when marco and i met marco was transitioning from wholesale to retail he had a lot of networks could have done something something this was all timing you got to look at it like this it was just perfect timing i mean you know him and i were doing something that lined up perfectly together at the right time which i think it was the reason everything you know blew up together and we've had a lot of mishaps we've had a lot of stuff we've tried and hasn't worked we went in on the jewelry store with some other partners that got screwed out of that we it it's just i mean two brands are better than one yeah it's not a situation like that yeah it's not like just us joining that day is what created yes it was just the word trial and error and countless hours and not listening to marco a lot of what i wanted to do well i did he went back and forth so i don't know i don't think so no uh i saw this question a few times i want to know if that girl you brought lunch for is still in the picture and if she is why we never see her love the show and the watches only thing i see lacking is in the female visual department very true first question no she's no longer in the picture next question is yes we have uh talked about bringing on a female it's tough because it's it's an excellent opportunity for someone out there but they have to see the vision they have to be you know what makes marco and i successful at this is we love what we do and at one point in our life we said we're going to take a risk and we're going to try it out it may not work but i'm going to try it we're going to have to have find a girl that can say that quit whatever she's doing come with us and say i want to try this but she's also got to be cool she's got to be you know someone that's appealing on social media she's got to be one of the homies she's got to be personal she's got to get along with every one of us because she's going to be in all the videos and that that in its sense it sounds easy it is hard to find that person with all those qualifications i've talked to dozens of girls people that i've known for a while to see what a fit would be like and then it's just at the end of the day if we can't stand hanging out with you in the office all day sharing a hotel room going on flights together it just they won't work out so who knows tune into season two maybe we have a surprise for you uh oh this is funny how do you plan to adjust your business model when the rolex bubble burst um so the rolex bubble isn't actually a bubble it's a flat plane like the earth so it's actually going this way it's a disc no i think what we're so that's a very good question well okay never say never i've worked through many of these bursts the more i don't call them bursts i call them corrections like they will the prices will correct and they'll steadily go back up i mean guys got to remember people are dumping their money into watches real estate and so forth to protect themselves against the ever so deflating dollar so i think the way we would handle this if the uh rolex bubble did burst is what we're already talking about is we're strategizing our business to be more so along the lines of consignment so that would protect us as a business against heavy asset based inventory that's how you handle that i think he was directed more more of along the lines of saying that that is exactly what we're doing we're converting to more you know than inventory heavy we actually own but i think his question was more directed to saying like this can't last forever these prices are so over inflated they're all hyped up and once this corrects you guys are going to be out of business look at the 80s i've had people been selling watches for like you know hundreds yeah yeah i think the most recent instance is 2008 910 during the financial crisis and i know you lived that yeah everything corrected but do you know what went up first before everything else went up if gold watches those went up first then real estate followed behind it right because people look for other ways to protect their money and people like to run to watches or art or whatever we're looking to do that now protect their cash in the event that we have a mark but also because of the way the world is changing uh monetarily yeah i mean definitely definitely things are changing yeah production of the value of fiat right so all right if let me put it this way if the rolex market crashes we have much bigger problems on our hands this is that would be the result of it think height prices if high prices die what happens we're going to go back to the way it used to be where right now you come to the secondary market because you can't get the sport models you want let's just say all that disappears and all of a sudden all the sport models you want are in the cases now you're going to come to us to buy all the gold pieces and you're going to come to us to buy all of them cheaper because you're not we're still not going to be able to get them here's another thing is there's always going to be something hyped up we'll just sell whatever's hyped up right exactly i mean if tomorrow breitland's become the new hit watch if usain bolt sprints across the finish line wearing a colt then guess what we'll have a stock a stockpile full of cults and then we will survive guys someone did do this someone mentioned in one of the videos they're like all you guys focus on is the hype pieces and you you don't really you don't focus on everything else you're right we're in a volume business and one we don't have the financial backing to sit on hublots and panerai's and tags for three to six months one day we'll get there and when we can afford to do it we will but you're right in the meantime we focus on height pieces because we know we can buy them and sell them instantly make our quick money move on to the next and we're building a customer base we are not interested in making 15 20 25 margins letting our pieces sit there to pick up one client a month off that piece we want i'd rather pick up 10 clients at a five percent margin which is what we do 25 yeah uh how much did you sell the brigade for and do you regret it i actually put that brigade up for sale like three times and every time i saw it the next day sitting in the case or i would see on the website i would call nilla and say hey take it down pull it off pull it out and i'd take it back home and then i'd say okay well i don't wear it as much maybe we'll put it back up for sale and i did this several times i finally marco made it it's actually one of my favorite comments he's like dude you make enough money just keep it yeah i mean it's not that expensive of a watch and i'll never be able to replace it it is a true horology piece so i'm keeping it last but not least you know you made it when ac3 comes for you shots fired who's ac3 ace archie ac oh that uh oh yeah you guys watched it yeah never seen that i've never heard of him before last week is that the was that the oh that's the guy that he's the bridge guy he sells the sticker advertising on his refrigerator behind him like that right yeah he puts up magnets or stickers or whatever i saw how does he pay his bills i have no idea he's in the camera apparently for a long time like 10 years on youtube wow been around for a while anyway i hope you guys enjoyed this little sit-down talk and we've also created another trailer for you to showcase what we've got in store for you in season two so watch this right now [Music] i was just kidding this is a live thing anyone who watches our videos knows that we film these the week of and we post them the following week so dylan actually made a good point he's like are we ever going to show a teaser clip of the things to go ahead no because we want to keep it real and authentic and in present moments so guys we have enjoyed having you along this journey when quarter one season one can't wait to see what happens we don't know what's gonna happen in season two but i will say mike marco dillon christian darby and alfred and trent are out there in the hall um we appreciate you guys we are going to build something incredible and i can't wait to see what happens next season let's see it yeah all right guys let's do it all right guys see you next week on tuesday [Music]
