roman that was so fake good morning this is basically how our day starts every single day first question of the day for you you tell phone call in the morning i come in say hello to roman and then our watch has been back to the factory it's already a v2 because what they did is they fixed that chronograph and that essentially made it a v2 i'm pretty sure i'm pretty sure it was like a factory defect exactly that's exactly what it was so so i basically told them so look if you do end up finding a v1 that hasn't been back to effect it's going to have to go back because it's not going to work for you it's going to become a v2 anyway i could also negotiate with a guy i'm sure i mean what are we essentially selling the zero four four zero four four you figure 300 okay that's exactly what i'm gonna tell them everybody loves talking about the grind everybody loves talking about what it takes to make it in a business this is not a story of someone trying to make it we already made it with a 100 million dollar company a year we've already built a brand and a status within the industry but that doesn't mean that we're done our current goal is to go from a 100 million dollar company to a you have any on it no but it could be yours for 258 right now you're standing there unpacking trying to lay out your merchandise and as you're laying it out there's 50 people asking you questions and wanting to buy things so you're literally making sales as you're pulling the stuff out of the bins and throw it into the showcases the service one bro i need thirty four thousand for it nine thousand for you with papers i don't like the hat go over 200 but it's not it's not about the 200 you know what i mean but that's you wait and you and you make a hit what else can we sell you yeah 35 cents the whole deal i get it i've had off days too i lose my [ __ ] temper all the time i apologize for what he did he could have handled it better but she did break a deal now let's just move on except my getting 28 for it and they get upset that's what i'm saying we have the best we have the best game plan moving forward yes our selling retail client list is growing and our buying retail client list is growing that's what we need to focus on tomorrow trips to seaboard do some buying it'll be we'll be good and we packed up for the second time where to uh mila res rooftop come up today was excellent do tell detail i had lunch so we actually had a good show most people complained because it was pretty dead to begin with uh we did about a million in business which is great uh i will tell you this and that's the one thing i mentioned earlier is that me and asia just walked around and we tried to buy we were not very successful in mine that's that was the only downside no we picked up a few pieces constantine checking i literally wanted to have that watch in stock for a year and i could never find one like it's just insane i'm very happy that we have no one now yeah you look you do not look so happy i'm scared we ended up realizing just how crazy the watch industry has got i've got quoted prices that i would have no chance of selling to any of my clients it's almost like they spit six months out prices yeah i feel like i feel like they're staying ahead of they're staying ahead of the curve where there's just like oh well i think this watch will trade at this three months from now so i'm going to ask this prices keep going up yes the value of the inventory's growth but they're not selling it because they keep asking too high the reason we sold 30 30 watches i'm gonna say in the first hour of the show because we were just slightly under we did not pick up any new clients no i met a couple of people i didn't necessarily sell them anything but at least phone numbers were exchanged and things of that nature for the most part we usually pick up a few new clients at these trade shows but the traffic just wasn't there would you say that two days is too long for a
