these watches with stickers on them so it just makes it it's one of those things where they're not supposed to do it so if one slips through the cracks people will pay more for it all right so so besides that they're both they're the exact same watch they're both brand new someone's just gonna pay more of a premium for this because it's fully stickered and i can attest to that i've paid more for watches because i just you know i want to know that well i mean even for my personal watches i bought watches back when the hulk right after the hulk got discontinued i paid 20 grand per one fully stickered because i just i don't know i was going to keep it forever i wanted to pull the stickers off and know that it's my watch people will do that nice to meet you nice to meet you guys yeah so potentially cost to repair a perpetual calendar yeah i mean he's looking at it depends it's all going to depend on the extent of the issues yeah but i mean do you have a ballpark dude ballpark just a service perpetual calendar minimum is 1600 minimum that's like so give them a range give them a range between 15 and 3 grand like minimum 1500 so or it's 1500 starting out and then it depends on uh wash your hands with it you can swim in them really one thing yeah one thing the one thing i would do is when you go to wash your hands just train yourself to touch the crown what will happen is you'll be setting it one day and you'll be rushed and you'll forget it happens every everyone does it yeah you'll forget to screw it all the way down yeah if you teach if you train yourself to just touch that crown when you go to wash your hands you'll you'll know it remember yeah because one day you'll go to do that and you'll be like oh they have like a triple a triple gasket in there okay so had these massive paintings that were bad and then i started posting them on instagram and some of my youtube videos you guys reach out and you keep asking me where to get them so him and i came up with an idea we've started a collaboration it's going to be the sellzler fairer collaboration i'm going to link the website below the instagram but these paintings now any watch you want this guy can create it we're going to get all the info i'm going to post it below but would you you said a two-month two-week turnaround about two weeks yeah if you want to watch send us your pictures get in touch fact that he's an active watch dealer as well as a very busy active watch youtuber anthony welcome to the channel thank you paul and i i'm also a fan of yours man i've been watching your videos for well over six to eight months and uh it was a goal before i started my channel to be on this channel one time with you so i do very much appreciate you having me on what what's it like finding stock out there because you're you're selling quality watches it's just not running them all stuff these are high end pieces how are you finding it getting stock so i have i've been asked this question before by some other dealers is how do they find inventory and it's guys wanting to get in the business and get started and for me it's a little bit different of a story because i didn't go the traditional route of having to wholesale dealer to dealer and uh come up come up in the wholesale business i guess actually it's been absolutely brilliant having you on tonight i hope this is not the last time it's been a pleasure to be on here so it's definitely not going to be the last it's the first of many i hope as well done i'm doing a video showing the it's not the most glamorous photo of me but so the panerai's i've got to do a panerai fan so like i had a rolex and cardi i had three watches i sold all of them now i'm kind of just getting back in the game cool thing about panerai it is the best watch you can put on any strap it doesn't matter if it's cloth skin bracelet leather do you guys mind telling me why the green goes for more than the others most of the time it's just high high yeah popularity yeah the golfers are wearing it i'm seeing that this one is eight thousand and this is ten five that's a 20 20. okay and why exactly just because of the dials uh it's it's it's a bunch of different things it's the complications now dials play a part when it comes to color so you can have two identical watches and the color of the dial will make one worth more like well for example that sub yeah the hulk is the same as a date submariner these are the exact same watch that one's just green this one sells for 12 000 this one sells for 20 000. so like look at paddock paddock 5711 blue sells for over 100 grand right now it is a basic date it's got a date complication that's it and it tells time 100 grand for a stainless steel do you like it 4 800 for that you could beat the hell out of that you can change it a ton of different styles that would be a good value for what it sounds like you want change the strap on it you have five different watches in one it really does change the watch so much it's amazing if you know of a watch you want get on some of the websites and look and see and if you find a watch you want screenshot it and that's got marco's number on it send him a picture of it okay i'll do that then cool that wasn't that serious about it all right man nice to meet you hey i watched i was watching this uh this morning i opened my phone and you popped up unwrapping that oh yeah did you watch that it was cool right yeah y'all kept that guy he got pissed all right we need what is this we need to go over who we owe money to so we can get all these watches paid for okay okay is 36 000 do what you have a visitor oh hey ah that's a subpoena okay all right thank you cool that is not what that's for oh it's a subpoena to testify at a deposition at the position for one look at the name of the top no no no i'm not getting sued that's good so this guy was buying this guy another one it's not ppp money but this guy was basically buying using using company money to buy watches and then he uh declared bankruptcy he's filing bankruptcy and anthony subpoenas write that one on the board he got one subpoena today okay get back to this so 36. okay next it's 48 000. uh we owe i got to send ten thousand wire today it's just uh how much do we owe you and sam h how much exactly yes like who 134.98 what okay so who else okay don't buy any more watches yet we got to stop buying watches because that's where it's getting buried yeah dude i'm gonna sell my watch collection let's do that okay it's crazy because i just did literally just filmed it this morning my watch collection video well we may not have to we got money coming in too yeah but dude i'm sitting on a ton of cash in that collection plus this investor we got another offer from an investor and it's just what's that that's stupid i'm gonna pull my entire collection out uh dylan will you grab all of these what can i get for it yeah i want to do it i'll sell everything hey hey i'm headed over you are okay i decided i'm going to sell everything in the collection so i know you wanted the green daytona so my price is 60 on it okay i'll come i'll come by okay and also do you remember what we owed you for the two-tone daytona i have it written down i'll just i'm headed over to you at like 1 105 so i'll be ready not the silver dylan that's not worth anything keep that what's silver worth right now i have no idea actually what is silver worth an ounce yeah we're not i'm not that's not going to change the state of our what can we get for this well i got an offer right now 50. no calling and 153 and i'll take it what about this what about that um s serial 94. yeah what about prez that would rain this one i'm going to take a loss on but whatever i can utilize the money you can sell that for like 38 38 39. maybe i really need it if it's in like really good shape it's a 20 20. hey i'll sell my daytona my daytona 52 000. it's a 20 20 20 complete new card but i need a wire yeah you're gonna have to transfer some money over there he probably can he buys his rolexes from you so yeah all right let me let me do give me five hours all right how long a few hours okay all right all right bye hopefully it didn't break they literally threw it over the sand they did a good job packing it oh my god could you imagine you like break this on the way out hey guys i'm here with taylor at auto connect and i just want to give a huge shout out to taylor for helping me out with the r8 as you guys know it was damaged from a coke bottle that went through the back end so we've got the new piece right behind you so we're going to put that on and hopefully get this car out of here so thank you again taylor no problem it's going to be an exciting next hour to get this all together i'm kind of excited to do it because i'm kind of a gearhead when it comes to stuff like this so it's gonna be pretty cool so let's get started they cut the harness on the new part which was advertised as uncut so now we have to you know salvage what we can off this i don't know let me try it see let's see will it go through looks like it's broken right there oh no never mind that's just okay well it's just broke man throw the whole car away okay that's good that it didn't slide off in there it almost did you have a uh i can't get past the lip with the lawn you have a driver yeah he doesn't even try a driver but you don't have the i don't think you have one that fits this that's i need one of these this is this okay this this curves up right so you can't go straight let's see what you're saying right i'll let you test it just in case hopefully there's no glass that's good yeah that's it i mean without pulling the whole motor out you know i got pull the motor out which you can get guys the car is done we got it all fixed up huge thank you to taylor again i can't i can't thank you enough for all your help no worries really appreciate everything you've so it is the end of week four and i want to go over the numbers real quick and then i've got a couple more things to talk about but first off every week we set a sales goal monday through friday to reach a certain number that's going to keep us on track that sells gold number is 273 437 dollars and 50 cents in cells per week to stay on track this week we ended the week with 434 550 in sales which is 63 above our goal so still well on track now this week we did 18 watches two of those went to wholesale dealers the other 16 went to retail customers so still a strong retail buying presence out there that we're seeing according to my goals for uh what we need to make a month to stay on track we should end the month with a million 93 750 dollars in sales this month we're ending with one million six hundred and thirteen thousand five hundred and twenty dollars in sales so we are 68 percent above our goal for the year so it's a good start to it now i will say this time last year january this month was our record month in sales in business it was the same case for january in 2020 we had a record number there where we did 1.1 million i believe and that was the first time we broke a million in sales so like i mentioned in the last video february march they tend to sales tend to slow off a little bit because you're up you're coming into tax season so then what i think we'll see is less retail sales and more wholesale deals and we'll also be doing a lot more buying now as far as models that i'm seeing it's still the same popular pieces all stainless sport models are still going out you all know that it's no surprise but what i'm seeing a lot from the aeds is a lot of datejust every day i'm getting calls for four five six seven different datejust a lot of subs still i will say that the hype from say four to five months ago six months ago when datejust were trading well over retail as where you could buy them pay the tax on them sell them to someone like me and still make money and i still make money i think those days are gone datejust are popping up left and right you can walk into the retailers and see them in you're starting to see a lot of two two-tone daytonas get offered out so those are slowly starting to die down a little bit i will say this keep in mind in this day and age everyone is out there looking for that new starter piece to build a relationship with odds are if it's sitting in the case in a rolex dealer you're not going to make money on it so again like i mentioned in the last video trying to force your hand to buy something to start that relationship and not lose money is not practical you're gonna lose some money on that now that that's out of the way in the last video we announced a contest where anyone who went online and shared this video and then came back and reported to us that you did we were going to pick at random a winner fly you out here first class and let you spend the day with marco and i and dylan and the team being a watch dealer and then we're going to take you out to dinner so i you guys know that i read every single one of my comments i respond to as many of them as i can right now on this video i'm looking at it we are sitting at 1085 comments that is a lot in five days so also impressive 77 000 views on a 50 minute video that is that's netflix tv series um but i read through all these comments and one of them stuck out to me more than anything so i decided that i was going to personally pick a winner based on that comment and the comment was from mike johansen and it was been following you on insta for years i was stoked to see you start youtube i don't watch any youtube video longer than 25 minutes but i gladly set aside 50 minutes for this i'll share the link and then in parentheses first time i've ever shared a youtube link now that to me resonates because this is a long time follower and now when i did say random that was my intentions but you know whenever i hear that someone's been following me for a long time following us following the business following the journey and then they're still they're still following into what we're creating with I really like this channel and recommend it to anyone looking for insight on how grey's buy and sell Rolexes. It's like a reality show, really a well done concept for YouTube where all other watch channels are opinion pieces or macro studies.
