we need to talk about MAPS on twitter

making two videos that make me wickedly uncomfortable in a row is not what I wanted to be spending my time on honestly but alas it is how I am spending my time now currently in this day and age because today's video is about something I found on Twitter and Tumblr and something that I wildly wildly hate because I'm a normal rational person who thinks normal thoughts and it's something that I think most rational also saying human beings hate just as much as I do if not more and something I think we can all collectively bandwagon on and say hey this thing this general thing that I'm talking about it's [ __ ] bad and that thing is maps now if you don't know what maps are or think I'm talking about the little images that down your phone or like the paper ones maps is a super cute tumblr rebranding for people who are attracted to children you know that thing that there is already a name for that justifiably evokes a certain negative emotion for most human people and lets you know just how vile that separate human person who has that moniker is I of course cannot say that in this video because YouTube will de monetize me in my content then suppress this video meaning that the people who I want to warn about this behavior and about these sweaters won't actually know about this and be made aware of it it is a [ __ ] for sure so now I have to self-censor and make things harder for all of us involved thanks so much to YouTube I love it map stands for a minor attracted person and I was made aware of this tumblr centric word and it's cutesy little rebrand for then known word that I cannot say when ready to glare and people like strange Aeons brought it to most people's attention the change happened mostly on tumblr with people putting a map and no map in their tumblr BIOS just letting people know that they are in fact attracted to literal children proudly they proudly displayed that in the bio of a website that was meant to represent them that is gross that is gross that you would be so proud and so you would be so proud of yourself and so proud of that moniker the you were just putting it on a public website that could probably be linked back to your real life in some way it freaking hurts me to know that these people use these monikers and they have real jobs that employ them without knowing that they like to go on tumblr or Twitter in their off time and talk about how they are attracted to children proudly it is big disgusting hours honestly now what's actually good is that most of these tumblers most of the most notorious people who had this moniker in their BIOS and were super proud of this have left tumblr like they're gone i if you even check map positivity nothing comes up and that to me is a net positive I love that I also love that tumblr in and of itself and the community it holds just kind of banded together to stop that from rising up the moment it was called out tumblr has the reputation of having people kind of defend anyone and everyone and just attack people and just say oh certain things are okay certain people are not like the it's just it has a bad reputation and to an extent I understand why they have that however the fact that when something as serious as this came up that they all collected that they all collectively put their foot down and said [ __ ] no absolutely not I'm really happy for that and I'm glad that this at the very least is something that pretty much everyone in the world can agree with but I say pretty much because there are still people who don't agree with it and I know by saying that they have all collectively left tumblr that's kind of open-ended right it could be that a lot of the bigger blogs just changed what they call themselves and now talk about it in a new code that I'm not aware of that is more than possible and if that did happen I hope you guys would tell me because I get so uncomfortable and gross out reading some of the things that I had to read for this I frankly could have missed a clue to what they have rebranded or have missed something that shows that they did rebrand but if I did I wouldn't be surprised it does however warm my heart to know that for a moment for a brief second in time the moment people found out what maps are and what M AP stands for the map positivity tag was taken over by people who said no absolutely not there should be no positive feelings about this because in no way shape or form is this a positive thing however just because they have seemingly left tumblr that doesn't mean that they have left the internet entirely oh no no no no that would be too easy because they are now on Twitter and are really [ __ ] bold on Twitter to the point where there is now an account called axe log or axe reviews which is a pro map Twitter dedicated to showing positive representation a map and promoting that message the works of art and media and television you heard that right it is a pro map Twitter for art TV and pro map representation I'm not kidding you in order to prove that I'm not kidding you I'm going to read out their bio right here and their bio it says that they are a lit match dedicated to the promotion of no map narratives through art fiction and nonfiction their first tweet elaborates that by saying almost every map in fiction stories revolves around them hurting someone we want to change that the axe alot is a new zine focused on no map narratives if you have writing or art about life as a map submit them to this email by April 1st more details to come now in reading back in seeing that submissions were due on April Fool's Day I thought maybe that this would be a joke that this was going to be some April Fool's elaborate prank because who the [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] would want to participate in this and that the people who would want to participate would be ridiculed and mocked in some way I don't really care if you're going to say that that's mean and I shouldn't say that but like I don't I don't care generally if you attracted to a minor I'm gonna be honest your opinion means literally nothing to me however regardless of if this is a joke or not there actually have been submissions to this and let me read you some of the guidelines for those submissions some guidelines all are welcome not just map writing should relate to no Maps having non-offending characters in some capacity 2500 word cap limit no lower limits visual art by maps can be subjective all is welcome including comments get weird with it which is a really gross really disgusting way of saying that in terms of what we are talking about that's [ __ ] lame and disgusting get weird with it is what you say when you want to invoke creativity in an art class or you're like making a sculpture for your hippie neighbor or you when you want to get drunk with your friends and do weird [ __ ] but that's not something you say when you literally are saying hey can you make some pro non-consensual relationship with children propaganda in the form of a magazine please write me articles about that please make art revolving around that make it comic it would be fine because I just I just want it to be not real so bad at one point and I'm talking and showing off Pro non-offending maps in media and television and trying to provide representation they talked about the show broadchurch which is a show about a man who was sexually attracted to a young boy who was friends with his son and later on killed that boy they said a murderer who killed a child because he was sexually attracted to that child was positive representation so again I can only hope I can only hope though this is a joke that I'm dreaming and someday I will look at this Twitter and this video and just laugh because of course this thing these vile gross things they wouldn't exist they're fake everything's fake I'm fake please help between the broadchurch and them asking for submissions up until April Fool's Day I'm really hoping and praying that this is a joke but even if it is a joke I can't really laugh because there are people actually submitting work to this maybe perhaps [ __ ] magazine they are submitting their art and their fictional stories in order to show positive predator representation which is not only hard to say but disgusting to think about I freaking hate it so much one of the people who applied is someone named pappi supports on Twitter who made this Pro map flag and called it the Kido Khan map flag which was based on a now suspended Twitter's Pro Lally con flag design guess this would be a flag that would represent a convention for maps that would be called Kinnick on which is disturbing as all hell like they didn't even try to make it something that people wouldn't think is vile which is what's stupid like this human person on January 30th of this year made this and thought that this was something they were proud of they were so proud of this kiddo Khan flag and what it represents that they posted it on Twitter publicly for the world to see and said here guys cuz you know Matt Pride to God but that's not all folks because pappi supports will do more if they make pro-gross human people and their [ __ ] gross antics flags to show their support for people who like to exploit children they also made these images with clouds in the sky riding out maps matter and this one apparently is using the pro map flag colors which is just I hate that they have a flag like I hate that someone made that and was just like this is everything and it got probably got reblogged but like oh god I hate it so bad not to mention they painted this dragon which might be from something I really don't know but apparently this dragon thinks being a map it's good and something that people should want to be like it's so good it's so amazing people should want to do this which I don't know all this reminds me of is this one skit from Saturday Night Live and that just makes me really upset because it's this shouldn't be allowed someone stop it please and based on this person's persistent tweets and then full-on full-out fighting with any anti maps or as I like to call them functional human people with working brains I can tell that this person isn't kidding so even if the ax reviews account is kidding this one isn't when they paint a dragon and say that this dragon despite being a mythical creature who holds gold somehow supports map rights and you should be proud of it they mean it they full-on fill out believe that which is upsetting what do you expect from a creature that is mostly made as a metaphor for people who are greedy and suck butts dragons suck canonically however this is not the only case of someone writing in to this [ __ ] magazine this is not the only case of someone to one might be a joke and running with it and trying to show some pro pedophile representation because a whole separate person named ben Carson on their public Twitter account that is called pedophile underscore tweets Brut an article called I'm a blank I'm a P so I'm doing great and that upsets me a lot his tweet submitting his work says me evey she is a young lesbian who also has sexual feelings towards young boys that seems contradictory and makes no sense to me at all honestly I have a really hard time with that and frankly I hate it I hate it completely but not as much as I hate the entire article because I had to go and read it now when I went and I read it it is a lot to the point where I opted to not use this platform to read it all out to you guys I was considering like reading the article for you guys and reacting to it with that and I decided not to because it's it's so much and it's so manipulative and weird and gross so I was just like I can't do that absolutely not but I will tell you about it and I will link it down below along with this guy's Twitter if you want to read some of his gross tweet it talks about this woman who calls herself Evie which is a pseudonym not her real name who struggled throughout her life she was abused she was outed as a lesbian when she was younger and all in all she was treated poorly terrible treatment of this girl which by and large no human person should ever have to go through that however they talk about that and they used that like this article uses that as a way to make everything else that is said in the article everything she thinks in her article less terrible the article almost literally says look at this woman's life look what she went through she went through so much that she shouldn't have gone through and also she has fantasies about young boys one of which is her younger brother but isn't that sad don't you feel bad for her isn't that like oh god poor girl which is manipulative and [ __ ] up and I hate it because they're painting a baseline of like this person had a sad life so this is this is not bad right and it's like no no no they also paint this like baseline like think of like the media saying that pedophilia and being a predator is wrong and saying that sexually abusing kids is bad and saying that on the news and in the newspaper is a bad thing that the widespread opinion that this is bad is wrong in and of itself like this article or WordPress blog or whatever this is literally says that the media saying that this person being a map being a predator being attracted to kids is wrong cause this sad poor girl to hurt himself to hurt themselves and it made her feel bad which I'm sorry but [ __ ] you because she should feel bad for thinking that way I had no point want her to feel proud feeling that way because that's not something you should be proud of again it feels a lot like this sketch it the article goes on to talk about the organization that helped Evy which is called stop it now and stop it now is an organization for people who worry about their own sexual feelings or other sexual feelings and behaviors towards minors which sounds to me when I read it I was like that sounds like a good thing it sounds like something we should probably adapt here in America because it seems like something that could prevent a lot of serious things and help in investigations with identifying people who would want to do this who would want to take part in this seems like a win-win Winona win only that the company is completely anonymous and will only report a crime if they believe a crime could be committed in the future I'll say that again they will only report a crime if they believe one is about to happen or could happen in the future meaning if you call in and tell them about something you've done in the past say you never went to prison for it give them all the details about abuse that you did to someone else and talk about it and relive it they won't report it at all they're not they're not gonna do that because in their words they only report future dangers and no acts from the past to build trust great love that you goes on to talk about how she received therapy from stop it now and now it helped her immensely because it makes her feel like she isn't bad and isn't a terrible person for having sexual feelings about kids and it makes her feel normal again she talks about this is just something how she has to live with and it cannot be cured and that this has helped her so much see that and she talks about how this organization has helped her because she felt under represented and weird about this weird about her attraction to kids what should you that should make you feel weird that should always make you feel matured but she felt underrepresented seeing as she's a female who felt this way and had it sex for her to not see more women be open about this and even even goes as far as to say in her own words that looking back the discovery of my sexual attraction to young boys was a blessing in disguise because without that she would not have gone to therapy all in all that is upsetting to me personally because I'm I'm sorry no I'm not I'm not sorry but if you feel that way around young boys and your brother and still to this day you feel that way to the point where you are writing a wordpress blog saying that you want more positive female representation in this particular market which is gross then call me a [ __ ] call me whatever the [ __ ] you want but I really do want you to feel alone I don't want you to be represented I don't want you to have any positive representation I don't want that for you you shouldn't be a lot of online you shouldn't be allowed within a room of children like no I am happy in some way that you are getting help for everything else that happened to you but to go out and talk about how your attraction to kids is good and you're
