Vintage Military Storage Unit Finds Purple Heart And Collectibles

[Music] what's up guys welcome to another weight ventures episode we got a little tired and that's tough because we haven't even gone through the storage yet we just got here we have ashley ventures long couple days that's what happens when you're a mom we bought an amazing storage unit guys this is 225 this is the cheapest unit that we bought and maybe the best unit that we bought at auction um it is actually a live storage auction where we bought this thing and there is some good stuff in here look at this i'm actually going to give this back to the family but look at that that is a massive it's got a bunch of military stuff from their family here um and then they also have a flag up there so i think this is gonna be a really great unit um there's a bunch of records in here this is gonna be an older unit look at this cane this thing is amazing guys this cane is amazing so what we're going to do basically is go through box by box with you guys um graham adventures is going to be on the next two storage unit videos that we do um right now she's watching the kiddos so we've got ashley the muscle here since this has got a lot of no muscle today dogs kept me up it's a beautiful facility all right so here's a couple things um we did take normally we never take anything out of the storage unit but i wanted to save time so i didn't have to cut so this was at the very front of the storage unit it was packed so we've got the office chair here this is a beautiful table the table is there it's beautiful we have kind of it's almost like a little giant ladder there and then we have this four they look like 80s yeah they're cool and those things will sell they will sell so let's go ahead we're going to take each box put it on here show you everything that's in there and then once i get enough clearance i'm going to take that out and use that as my table but oh my goodness okay all right are you ready okay okay so i'm going to take let's take this first and so we can show them what's in here so the first box we have generator generator i'm guessing we have a edger oh you guys use that oh yeah you like your yard we have a big flashlight and then we also have this guy which some of these do well this is a cobra 29 northwest ltd classic so that's our first little box there let me put this guy over here all right i'm trying to get to this so they can see we haven't had tools in a while guys we got a lot of tools in here some of the stuff is made in the united states like phillips united states so it's not any of that chinese stuff so i got a bunch of tools random tools it's kind of cool great is really cool that crate is really cool actually all right now before we show what's in the case let me show this now normally i don't show any family stuff guys but this is kind of older so look at that you can't see it but this is just a beautiful family piece and this is going to stay i'm going to give this back to the fam all right huh where's the key your boy wade can open anything oh my goodness that was good okay let's make sure there's no i'm impressed personal stuff in there there's not i'm not see if this guy is worth anything and i bet you it's in there because it's heavy yeah so we'll see uh oh they don't have the it's not in there dang it's not in there where does this come up oh nope it's in there boom right there wow so want to see if this guy's worth anything for the ebay what's this world nav satellite system i wonder if it's for trucks it's a video it could be okay i can't believe you're like oh my god oh my suitcase i was worried we'd have to break it okay the first box and it's heavy and no i do not have my knife i do not have my knife okay oh pots and pans they've seen those yeah we've seen a lot of those it's all kind of this in the kitchen we'll get some good boxes remember we only spent 225. what's you gotta consider gasps cat's kinda cool whoa what the heck is this wow i think it's a swiss yes it spins sphinx or maybe not space it could be look at that this is about 20 inches guys it's a big cat maybe it's just very good oh it does have markings on here it says general it says general 1965 art general 1965 arts is what it says on there and there's nothing on the back or on the bottom wow that could be something that could be something okay let's do another box and we'll show this cool piece oh my is that are out of the case some good ones or the rings oh these are all movies blue rays there's a bunch of them in here pirates of the caribbean vhs is in here this was like it seemed heavier than what's in here some sort of medical thing just a bunch of vhs in here oh that's why it seemed heavy there's a player in there let's take this out is this a oh yeah forehead dvd vhs that's nice that's nice what is this right here oh there's a bunch of sets down here yeah these are all in there too mr john wayne okay that's not a bad box right there that'd be good auction they're just like staring at us there's a lot more of them oh my gosh grandma would love these she's probably gonna keep this she loves this type of stuff so there's two where's the other one at oh right here oh my gosh and he's still got the attacks he still has the decks what is this one um this is classic treasures and they're they're porcelain that's old so you got this guy this guy and this one and they look in great shape too okay i think there's one right there oh we have another one oh he's missing his hat poor guy he's bald it could be a girl okay so now we have four of them what's in here there's nothing okay what the heck whoa what are those things oh my gosh they're glass these are oh my gosh these things could be worth some cash i know some of these go for good money these are glass stir straws probably you're right there's a mitt right there there's a bunch of them in here guys wow gotta be careful i got it i'll show them these now look at this guys these are all glass even the tops of them are glass wow i must have collected those look at this bird this glass bird they're all glass wow those things are really cool yeah oh this is the one i it's like a weird one here let me take these out so i can show okay that was really cool that looks like a clock we have a walk oh clock that was like a block here's a clock here's a block that's not that's not not bad we'll put the poker chips poker chips we can always use those okay we go these are old looking mm-hmm look at the uh no they're glass look at the fetching on i mean those are old where are these oh they're not that old or these are not that old okay oh that's a salt and pepper shaker look at that that looks cool yeah it's probably 70s okay this box is not bad let's see what's in here oh we have little bears i don't know what is going on there oh chocolate river rocks let's just say i'm not going to eat those personal stuff that's broken got to be careful i'll take that one actually all right look we have another nav system garmin those are popular yeah people still use garments some a couple old a couple old um bones in there all right this is kind of a knick-knack box i think this is that is really cool wow this is made in india look how beautiful that piece is i mean that's gorgeous right to go through a lot of knickknacks in this one that's pretty yeah are these silver they're inscribed something on there what does it say i don't know these could be silver let's see there's a whole set of them in here so yep okay so these are letter openers or no no never mind that's that's a butter knife [Music] this is special random there's some cool stuff in here hopefully it's not broke that is cool okay you might have to pause the action and put all this away look at that that is so cool it's an angel okay we have one more box in here and then we gotta i'm gonna put these like really um are they casino chips no no poker chips by the way these sell guys old poker chips all right that was a pretty in here here's another elmo and then we have a little bitty em all elmo so we have a whole elmo collection i did not expect that you would have said million dollars if there's gonna be a bunch of elements up here wow that is a penguin and it's not broken not broke looks like we have some navy cups in here some older navy cups and a random cup here snowman cup stay over there and what does this say oh oldsmobile oh it's probably from there yeah i wonder if there's gonna be any disney in here i hope so oh you guys do you remember this guys from south park yes yeah wow that's funny okay and that's cool yeah he looks old rusted too okay now we have some cups some cups [Applause] oh this coffee cup collector this is utah that's a beautiful cup and it's got the raised edge on it that one will go well on the posh remember guys a lot of the stuff will either go on our auction or poshmark link will be below that's a beautiful cup too i bet we're gonna find some military stuff in here i'm gonna show a little bit of this just because it's older and it's really cool and i'm leaving it behind in the storage unit okay um a lot of people are really cool i don't have to leave like a lot of people will take this stuff and sell it but i would much prefer it try to get back to the family because it's such a cool piece so a purple heart yeah okay let's try not to show the actual this or this but we can just show that this is just cool too cool and got a purple heart in here this is when you kind of feel yeah so this is going to go back to the um family and it's cool because it comes in this beautiful huge here you gotti okay so yeah that will go over here and that's gonna go back to the fan back to the fam right oh my god what is in here basically like yeah it's heavy okay this the auction so we may have to like group these like kind of in different ways there's more of these yeah so they must have been friends with the other unit wow this whole thing is full guys this is a massive box full of cds look at this a lot of dance i even seen some oh piano that's signed that's signed some good stuff in here that sign okay that one that's a huge box guys that's a huge box look at that thing that's full of cds i have a feeling though that we're going to find a lot of this type of stuff is that barbra streisand barbra streisand oh nice nice yeah we're going to find a lot of that in here and of course a massive i know i'm kind of excited about those what's in the ice chest oh my goodness that is the biggest bible i've seen in a very long time there's two of them wow that's a have you ever seen this is like 15 inches guys this is a massive bible have you guys ever seen a bible this big before i mean of course probably maybe the altar oh and it's not it's not written either i mean that's a big 15 inch bible i've never seen a bible that big that one's cool i like that yeah that's one book webster dictionary it's a big guy look at that wow wow that's a that one i've always oh there's a lot of old books in here these maybe you got to be careful too some of these maybe first editions boy scout handbook where's that look at this grandpa's that is an old there's an old book right there let's give them a glance i don't want to take them all out because we have a lot of storage units to go and the video is going to be forever but some of these may be first editions american wildlife [Music] i mean that's an old book right there the buffalo on there wow charlie dickens i mean there's some good ones david the king this is oregon trunk there could be some there could be some first editions in here to see some of these books can go for good money oh here's another the girl scouts some more girl scouts books in there bob white okay very cool yeah they have a little of everything on this unit okay moving right along you have a random plastic bag there which one should i do let's give them a little like sneak peek we have so many boxes to go through and i'm wondering if they're packed there's gonna be some treasures in here guys couldn't and of course there is some heavy furniture in here too that we're not looking forward to um that being there and there but okay let's see yeah this could be a random random dragon oh that's extension cord in there i was actually looking for some shears earlier yeah but you sharpen them and then they still work okay you get really good oh you get really good at times you're not lucky there yeah okay do you have any okay more vhs all in the family i was used to being at night oh marlon i've seen all of them or merlin excuse me um we have spartacus there's a lot of commandments yeah so there's a lot of vhs in here guys we won't go through them all just to save time gone with the wind all right this over here okay and two two more books i think this has dishes in the way that it's moving and rattling oh no it's got pots and pans that looks like a baked beans dish but it's not i don't a candle holder it's gonna say you can put your books there but then you don't want to like light your books on fire i guess i bet you'll find another one that looks like another pop yeah there's a don't know oh whoa the middle comes out of it and it looks like it's in beautiful condition that looks like a bottle stopper i don't know i don't know i don't think it is no it could be maybe it's to like the teacher i'll put them over here so we can see them all together okay what else we got oh this is uh 1976 the foundry worker look at that that is a really cool piece pewter i wonder how much these could be worth some big bucks those are really cool this could be worth this is what seventeen movement they're railroad worker that is a beautiful piece i can't believe we spent only 25 bucks on the scene answers and that's oh look at that 1978 the lager pewter guys that is a cool piece oh and then we have farmers roy the farmer's wife chickens all kinds of stuff okay one more one more and then of course the bomb i can't forget the bong and it has been lightly used all right then we have the uh shopkeeper computer guys let's show let's show them all together this is it these are all pewter 1970s i'm wondering how much these things go for i've never seen them before have you no this is just really cool you're talking to the audience oh yeah i was talking to you they're about like three inches three and a half inches guys that is these things could be worth some good money i'm wondering if we should sell these individually or if we should sell them as like a one big thing yeah i'd look see if we can find any information on it yeah also let's see how much they go for it's like those um dreamsicles yeah so selling them all together but these are pewter so they're not and recognized that yeah they love the financial oh my gosh what look at my coca-cola bottle where look at it oh my god oh my gosh it's a it's a bong coca-cola bottle that is handmade somebody made that wow very creative wow for creativity that is just really creative every part every oh my gosh wow holy moly there's like 50 of them in here and they're thin no they haven't except maybe two wow there's a bunch of them in here there's probably 30 of them are more in here and they're real thin wow there's a lot of bombs in this thing okay let's see what is this that's the radio oh [Applause] bunch of them in here a little buzzard with the tag yeah i think so it says 1987. so maybe the goat is in the 80s and that's an old bear and yeah there's soda in there i'm surprised that didn't explode yeah that's going on the trash i'm assuming there's sprite in that spray can too yeah oh there's no soda in that one there's this one though oh what that i'll keep that's a really old soda can it's got the soda in there okay what else we got in here oh this is a puppet oh that's a unicorn i'm not putting my hand in there you gotta put your hand in there it's looking pretty gnarly um bart and oh we've seen this guy before in that one unit um yeah i've had one i've got one of these before that's an old candle and this this unit has just a bunch of knickknacks [Applause] that's a hand warmer no it's a hand warmer i've actually found one of these before but they didn't have the original box so what am i gonna put you guys okay this is peace and it's got a little token there that's gold this is from 1974. um no it's not i don't think it's gold but that's kind of cool okay oh sprites in here and another oh oh that could be ash so that's going to stay in the unit is that a crown royal bomb yeah i'm not positive it's ashes but we're going to look like we're going to keep that in there with the unit oh that's like is that the end of a cane it is actually smart yeah because we've got this beautiful cane over here i bet you change it out yeah we have this beautiful piece and it unscrews so yeah it's a little bit small but it probably yeah golf club and eagle another eagle yeah but this is not i don't think this is um that's not a old piece and look at this we're going to keep this for the remainder of the of the unboxing here okay that's got his name on it guys so i'm not gonna show it but okay we have another god we have a bunch of those guys army of the united states yeah this was back in [Music] 1944 so we're going to leave that in there with the other stuff a lot of people do sell that and i'm not saying that that's you know for the storage unifiers out there that do keep that army stuff i mean there's some that you can keep i guess but i try to give it back look at that that rock is amazing i sold a bunch of those actually recently okay can you grab that little porcelain guy okay okay so it's just uh that's for them to hang up i think yep they have this on the wall it's tarnished okay all right guys this is one box but we got to be right back um we'll be right back i had to get all those boxes down there was a bunch of boxes up there and i had to get them down over here i had to get them down because they were avalanching okay so this said eric's xmas so is this a bunch of old oh what the heck oh wow no way try it on no this is not xmas and no i'm not put on the hat but it is cool oh i like how they wrapped it vintage newspaper and that's how they made their rolls with it this is cool they yeah they use newspaper to wrap that up that is so smart what [Music] well you never know this is the first box without a bong in it so i'm like curious now so we have this little piece here solid wood actually now we do have a flag guys this probably was over a coffin or something and i've got one identical from my dad so this is gonna stay with the units okay so this this is gonna stay with the unit um then we also got this piece from the very very top this is kind of an old piece probably was hanging on the wall maybe in a bathroom or something so there's that and what else we got christmas tree we have a christmas tree we're going through this quick because this was up top guys so trying to make room another christmas tree probably from target all right this is box from 2011. boxing 2011. oh where'd my knife go [Applause] [Music] your favorite more christmas just a lot of christmas bulbs extra bulbs in there that's kind of cool molds for halloween and they wrap them up okay that's it next next box okay let's go through this one i feel like there might be some goodies in here no not in there what is that it's dried something that's kind of creepy but that is going back in i don't know what that is oh this is china i think so that's when it says nativity oh look at that swan i bet you that's silver too maybe not actually no it's not silver that's a full piece all right let's move this in here here's an ornament i think oh yeah wow that's cool yep the activity scene that's the first time i've seen that before [Music] it was very pretty okay maybe this is like the christmas i love the odds yeah those are nice yeah these are old-fashioned salt and pepper shakers and they've got the stand there too guys yep can you believe we bought five units we still have four more units to go well during this round we already yeah in the last round that goes insane no no it doesn't what about yeah nope nope okay yeah good good try good try at the bottom no no no okay let's just call it a day on that one okay you i think this is like potpourri and that type of stuff okay we have i've sold this this dragon set before you shine light through and you can see the light through it basically yeah [Music] there's a pewter i think it is yeah it looks like the other ones yeah and he hooks up that is too cool that is a really cool piece is this a bong oh mug it's a mug beautiful mug [Music] and that's it the only states oh 1901 that is old 1901 what is in here there's there's those are probably really old pennies yep let's see if i missed any in here okay there's some teeth what is up with the teeth i don't know the last three units we filmed have some kind of teeth theme in it there's three units worse the worst one was with your mom though i don't think i got the teeth fully on film but okay so these it says one cent 1938 so not as old as the 1901 i wonder how old that that penny is probably newer [Music] this one says 2000 yeah just a bunch of smokes some of this stuff looks real yeah but again i need to get my i need to get my tester back this in particular this empathy oh it's i don't think it is no it could be i know it could actually be real i'm not seeing any tarnishing or anything like that to it that looks real to me but i want to get that checked they probably put it on there just to keep it on there and then you've got this this says oh that says korea so that's not real i thought maybe that was real silver on that other one only other one would be this guy yeah sometimes um you'll get these guys that are not real gold but then this is the chain is so i'm gonna have to take a look at that we'll go through every box oh we'll get back to the warehouse and see if i can't look it up but that's disgusting what is in that i don't want to know [Applause] this is full oh
