Unbelievable Deal: The Most Affordable Twin-Engine Plane in the US!

in two weeks the new owner is going to be here to pick up the airplane that's the Apache that I bought a little less than a year ago flew it all over the place uh now it's time for its annual inspection at the time it was the cheapest twin engine airplane in the USA had a lot of fun with it uh we have old Parts those are yeah they they need some love we got to send these off the qaa let them work their magic like they did on the fuel pumps of the silver bullet and then we're gonna get some Lycoming fancy mags to put in there but we need to like get these done ASAP because that dude's going to be here he's never even seen the airplane in real life yet so fingers crossed that he actually likes it when he gets here [Music] okay foreign [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] doing his magic to get this thing done because it's Tuesday the guy's supposed to be here on Friday to pick this thing up we still got a test fire and like start it and do a bunch more work to it so yeah Jesse what's up that's Jesse hello check out some of the sweet stuff that's put on this thing fancy new spark plug wires now in the regular car world you're like yeah what's the big deal about spark plug wires but in the aviation World these suckers are literally gold well these are red but they're made out of gold because they cost 600 percent and there's two engines on this thing see other noise converter and the spark plugs in this and there's two on each cylinder and then we got the new qaa mags those are fancy and on that side we got the special by combing our hot rod mag see that makes it go faster the like Chrome aluminum type parts we'll get this thing dialed in Jesse back there we found some crunched wires you got that yeah they got pinched put your finger where they uh well don't stick it in there but they got in there and got crunched it's actually in here where the down lock goes they sat right there got pinched and uh are no longer together so yeah lasted for a little while and got you know I don't know where that's going that was terrible we got our gear doors and again it's always good and did you know that this airplane is made to land belly down not on purpose on every time but if you do these wheels still roll and function even if you let's say have some gear issue with all three tires huh that's kind of neat Jesse so we kind of uh hit pretty much everything on this airplane with all of the magnetos all the spark plugs all the wires we did some new magnetos the shirt the uh the Lycoming Eis the fancy ones and uh what's your over and under on if this thing will start up the first time I can't think of a single thing that could go wrong that's right it's not on fire none of the factory installed smoke came out of it so far so I think that's pretty pretty sure fire bet that it's gonna start up for a shot there you go let's go all right let's do it [Music] all right Masters off mags off mixer down battery off all right so we're just gonna come in here and take a peek in here we got no oil leaks there everything looks good go ahead and go around to the other side here down up underneath here not a trip at all so we got no oil leaks from our mags that's a good thing we're gonna go ahead and check this rear actuator we did have a leaky issue on this rear actuator here just gonna make sure we're good and clean how's it looking boss man bone dry on this side oh the air conditioning okay all right clean and clear let's see on this side do the same as we did the other bring the idle just to tick up on both engines okay we can do that right got no oil leak on this side mag check this other side mag just to make sure nothing clean as a whistle now here's the real kicker this side engine has the hydraulic pump for the the whole hydraulic system so this is where we're really going to see if there's a leak with some pressure and underneath this guy as a balm that guy drives a bone this guy drives a bone and of course dry as a bone so we did good man that thing started right up I mean a couple resolutions he was good to go okay so here goes we're gonna go if we're not off by that second uh that building right there I mean dude this doesn't all go exactly the way it's supposed to we're gonna have to cut the power right now because this thing frankly isn't long enough for us to have an abort so as soon as we get airborne we are committed there is no Landing back on the runway here because it's very short and it's very soft so we're going to be pulling back get it up in and then shove the nose down to stay about this far off the ground build up speed and then go whoo ideally everything goes right all right pictures up let's bring it up two thousand make sure we got two good engines manifolds their oil pressure is there oil temps are up fuel pressures are up that's uh we're gonna go full power hold the break in as best it can and we are off those up it's wanting to go already we are off the ground there's our AirSpeed and up we go here's coming up that's their answer in flaps are up gear is up and locked now let's go ahead and navigate to Plant City it's always a very sad day but a happy day today is the last flight that I will get to fly it's a hot potato because the new owner is coming in tomorrow headed to comeifornia we got it fixed up and dialed in for them but you know we gotta take it for one last Joy flight make sure that everything is absolutely dialed in for the new owner which I've got no doubts we went through this thing really really well I'm gonna miss it if I'm honest with you you know it's kind of it's like a good hunting dog right it's a little homely got some dents and dings on it but super dependable like I said the most Dependable airplane I've ever had in that right Jesse all this because of a little light with four volts droppage from there to the out out here great owning an airplane will be fun they said well there's your problem right there that wire poking out is not supposed to be green it's supposed to be shiny and that's all corrosion that found its way down into the wire so we are cutting it back till we get some nice clean wire and we're just gonna throw some brand new crimson and call it a day hey Jimmy go ahead and turn on the master for me we got a green light yeah yes boom there you go Jesse thanks man all that for flipping green light took apart half of the airplane to get to that connection yeah I gotta put it all back together now and we still got to put it back together wash well fly it and then wash it yeah we got some time let's make it happen captain all right so like I said at exactly 4 58 P.M we can take it for our drive that I started at 11 o'clock this morning so that's how long it took to find and fix one connection for a light right there hashtag airplane life let's take it for a quick run and should be fine it's going to be fine yes hey we made it now we got to clean our greasy fingerprints off of it and wash it up because the dude's going to be here in 12 hours to pick it up and fly back bye I love you forever and always we have done so much work to this airplane we replaced rebuilt both of the landing gear retraction hydraulic cylinders had to do the wheels and tires and bearings replace the front axle we all new spark plugs all new wiring harnesses no wiring all new spark plugs all new spark plug wire harnesses the one Magneto from qaa the other Magneto is the fancy electric one from Lycoming um I don't even know like the list that we've done to this airplane just is like this long but it's done the New Order is going to be here any minute and hoping hoping he likes it so we'll see because this this airplane I'm selling it because I've got a 310 and because we just bought the Elvis Jet and I need to start refilling the bank account that has been in the negative for a minute uh yes that's fantastic I can't get a clear crop he's obviously not a subscriber band and that's it get out of the plane oh dude just like that bam we've grabbed prop spinach now that the apache's done back to the normal stuff we got to fix the GPS on this I think a power wire came off because there's too many BTUs so that's what we get to work on next fun times that's life day in the life of Jimmy basically just airplanes broken pretty much sums it up right Jesse hey ain't that the truth
