in this video I'll guide you on how to mod Dragon's Dogma 2 which was recently released while Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't a Bethesda game there are still ways to mod it to get started with modding you'll need to install a few things first you'll need to install the fluffy mod manager The Fluffy mod manager is a tool similar to mod organizer or Vortex allowing you to install and manage Dragon's Dogma 2's mods you can download the fluffy mod manager from the link provided in the video description once downloaded extract the files like you would with Mod organizer and then proceed with the installation when you open the mod manager you'll see a screen similar to the one in the video after downloading mods simply drag the pack files from the compressed folder into the mod manager to toggle the mods on or off if there are no pack files within the compressed folder you'll need to place the entire compressed folder directly into the games Dragon Dogma 2 mods directory with a few installations you'll quickly grasp the process once you've installed the mod manager the next step is to install re framework re framework is a modding tool framework available for use in Dragon's Dogma 2 this framework provides a powerful scripting API using Lua along with tools for free cam time scale adjustments field of view changes and tools for Script Mod developers to install fre framework download the mod and place the dput 8. DL file from the compressed folder into the directory where Dragon's Dogma 2 is installed with both the fluffy mod manager and re framework installed you're now ready to begin modding Dragon's Dogma 2 congratulations on reaching this Milestone next let me guide you through installing dlss Dragon's Dogma 2 has been a controversial game in terms of optimization but by using the dlss mod available on test Nexus you can significantly increase your game's frame rate if you're using an Nvidia 4,000 series GPU you can use Creator pure dark's dlss 3 enabler however if you're using a non4 series GPU please use the mod I'm about to explain first download the dss3 frame gen for 20 and 30 gpus mod from the YouTube description then press the launcher button of the fluffy mod manager to launch Dragon's Dogma and set Nvidia reflex to on frame rate to variable and vertical synchronization to on before closing the game this will create a storage folder in the Dragon's Dogma 2 installation directory next click the link provided to download the DSG to FSR 3.9 Universal version put the dsg2 FSR 3 I AMD is better D file from the downloaded folder into the storage folder and the version d l file into the Dragon's Dogma 2 installation directory then download dss3 frame gen on non 40 cards and extract the compressed file into the Dragon's Dogma 2 installation directory after doing so launch Dragon's Dogma once again using the fluffy mod manager's launcher button if you notice a significant increase in frames and shaking of the interface when enabling dlss in the options the installation was successful keep in mind that while this mod can increase frame rates it may cause interface shaking when moving you can toggle the mod's functionality on and off by pressing the End Key which can help alleviate interface shaking I personally have disabled some UI elements while using this mod so you may consider doing the same next let me introduce some of the mods I'm using first off there's lock on this mod allows for convenient targeting and attacking of enemies by automatically locking onto them using the controller as a reference you can turn your gaze towards the enemy and click the right stick to Target them pushing the stick to the left allows you to switch to other enemies to the left of the current Target this mod is particularly useful for warriors who find it difficult to both attack and defend with a shield as it not only AIDS in attacking but also makes Shield defense easier it's a mod that I personally favor next up is early and cheap art of metamorphosis this mod lowers the price of the essential item metamorphosis needed for customizing your character in fact character customization is crucial in this game so if metamorphosis is unreasonably expensive it can be quite inconvenient to play this mod adjusts the price of metamorphosis to make it more affordable allowing you to frequently improve your character's appearance next up is camera tweaks this mod enhances the character's Viewpoint by increasing the default fov to 75 and 90 maintaining a closer experience to the intended one it removes the camera nudge when starting a Sprint and slightly adjusts the camera position to keep the character a bit closer to compensate for the fov reduction that narrows the character space on the [Music] screen next up is better UI HP and SP bars this mod enhances the player enemy and boss gauges compared to the vanilla state it makes the gauge interface thicker and less blurry it changes the enemy and boss HP bars from purple to Red thickens the boss's HP bar and enlarges the health Diamond similar to that of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen thereby improving your visibility next up is better UI colorful map icons this mod replaces the vanilla map texture icons with colorful ones making them distinguishable from one another by adding color to the previously monochrome icons it allows you to easily identify locations on the map this mod also function on the mini map providing significant assistance during your adventures next up is Dragon's Dogma 2 CPU priority less stuttering at city and towns this mod is a simple registry file that changes the CPU priority of d Dogma 2 reducing stuttering in cities and towns it operates on the principle of automatically setting the CPU priority to high each time the game starts to use it simply place the compressed file into the game folder where Dragon's Dogma 2 is installed run the file and then reboot your computer this can help improve stuttering issues in cities and towns providing a smoother gaming experience next up is highres fire and smoke this mod enhances fire and smoke to 4K high resolution using AI upscaling with original textures at 512x512 it provides noticeable visual improvements without significant performance degradation enhancing Your Dragon's Dogma 2 experienced by increasing realism and immersion next up is stop selling yourself this mode stops the annoying lost pawns from approaching you to offer their services for hire during your adventures it's common to randomly encounter lost pawns who approach and speak to you which can be quite bothersome this mode prevents the pawns from initiating recruitment conversations with you making your adventure more convenient thank you for watching this tutorial on modding Dragons Dogma 2 and
