continuing from the modding tutorial guide we previously discussed in this video we've prepared a guide on how you can enhance your Dragon's Dogma 2 through modding first let's talk about functional pawns this mod allows you to interact with pawns to deposit or withdraw items from storage or even change their professions it extends some of the roles you typically find in ins to ponds as well the mods features are incredibly convenient for instance during your travels if you suddenly want to change a Pawn's profession you can immediately speak to them and make the switch similarly if you're carrying heavy items you can use a pawn to access storage and manage your inventory keep in mind that it doesn't include lodging functionality so you'll still need to rely on ins or camps for resting overall this mod enhances convenience during your adventures next up is HUD controls this mode allows more precise control over HUD elements in Dragon's Dogma 2 for example you can automatically show or hide HUD elements when the player's HP and stamina fall below a certain threshold Additionally you can quickly toggle HUD elements using keyboard or Gamepad keys and selectively hide or display various UI components the default settings assign F1 for control guide F2 for the mini map and player phone HP F3 for the dialogue box and F four for other less critical UI elements next up is the over the-shoulder camera and wider field of view mode this mode adjusts the player's camera perspective to be over the shoulder and widens the field of view it provides a feeling similar to being inside a house or cave as for fov personally I customize it using the re framework however I also think that enhancing immersion in combat or Adventure by using the shoulder view perspective is a good choice also I use a mode in videos that displays damage numbers it's called the damage numbers mode and it allows you to see realtime attack data for players or pawns however I think it would have been better if the font or size of the numbers had a more rpg-like feel nevertheless through re framework you can toggle this mode on or off if you prefer displaying damage numbers regularly you might want to consider installing this mod next up is HD environment textures this mod is exactly what its name suggests an HD environment texture pack that includes 2x upscaling compared to the original textures keep in mind that the increased upscaling also means higher vram usage if performance is crucial for you it's not necessary to use this mod but if you want to enhance visuals feel free to give it a try next up is custom difficulty tweaks this mod adjusts various parameters within the game to address combat balance issues it makes enemies deal more damage take less damage and stagger less easily in the base game of Dragon's Dogma enemies tend to die too quickly making the game feel too easy however with this mod you can fine-tune the balance for the current stage of the game achieving a more satisfying difficulty level of course if you want to make the game easier you can increase damage or reduce dagger values and vice versa install the mod and customize your game experience next up is hide helmet hoe this mod uses the re framework to make the helmets of Pawn and Arisen invisible if you've wanted to wear a helmet but disliked it covering your face give this mod a try now you can comfortably use helmets and reveal the faces of your player character and Pawn in the game press the insert key to access the script generated UI menu where you can choose whether to show or hide the helmets for Pawn or aisen next up is simple realistic 3D for Dragon's Dogma 2 rather than being a mod this is a simple custom Shader that can be applied to Dragon's Dogma 2 the Shader slightly brightens the game and provides better shading details and post-processing effects it also improves the existing yellowish color tone and enhances light sensitivity the default key to open the options menu is the end key and similar to reshade you can toggle the reshade function by pressing a hotkey and opening the options menu next up is the infinite stamina outof combat mod this mod allows you to gain infinite stamina during non-combat situations once installed even in cities or towns your stamina will remain unlimited allowing you to keep sprinting while the idea of continuous running might lack realis if you prefer stamina systems similar to those in games like Elden ring this mod might be to your liking the decision to use it is entirely up to you next up is dialogue auto advance this mode allows conversations to proceed automatically eliminating the need to press next each time consequently during gameplay NPC dialogues can advance each line automatically without requiring continuous button press I believe this mode enhances convenience and immersion when engaging in in-game conversations despite being a minor feature enabling it could greatly enhance your experience during dialogues next up is wild loot this mod is designed for players of Dragon's Dogma 2 who want to change the way they acquire equipment or weapons previously players could purchase loot of all grades from the store however with this mod the store will no longer sell sell anything beyond the lowest grade instead it brings all the remarkable loot that was previously available in the store into the wild as a result players will now be drawn even deeper into the Wilderness to acquire highquality loot personally I find this approach quite appealing in the previous system looting in the wild didn't offer much excitement because players couldn't obtain anything other than lowquality items but with this mod the anticipation of finding valuable loot in the wilderness is greatly enhanced are you tired of hearing the same old dialogue from your pawns over and over again well say hello to the shut up pawns mod this mod gives you the power to block any dialogue you've had enough of hearing whether it's those incessant comments about ladders or the annoying high fives after battles shut up pawns has got you covered with this mod you can also put an end to pawns commenting on every ladder and chest they see or any other irritating things they decide to spout next up is the long hair replacer for hairs slot 12 this mod changes hairs slot 12 to longer hair similar to what you see in videos if you've always preferred long hair but couldn't find the right style in Dragon's Dogma 2 give this hair a try especially if the bangs cover your eyebrows it can make your character look more beautiful and innocent Esten the creator of this mod has also made many many other excellent hair mods so if you're someone who likes to change hairstyles Eden's hair mods are a great choice thank you for tuning in to discover some musthave mods to enhance your Dragon's Dogma 2 experience we hope you found these mods as exciting as we did don't forget to like comment and subscribe for more gaming content and remember the adventure doesn't end here keep exploring keep modding and keep enjoying the the vast world of Dragon's Dogma 2 until next time happy gaming
