Trying to Review an AR

Hey yeah that's funky I wasn't expecting one but what do we have we got and you're sure why what is up you sexy YouTube mother lovers I just called and confirmed that yes they did in fact mean to send this to me for some reason which means only one thing today is a day that will live in infamy an ar-15 video why they thought I was qualified to do a video with an ar-15 I have no idea but we're gonna give it our heck and best but since we are doing a video with the other gun there's a few things that I'm sure that we can do that'll kill this thing nice and good this is a very very expensive weapon from b-7 this is a gun that I can absolutely not afford so very brave choice of them to send it to me it may look like a very normal air 15 but this sucker is light as hell it's honestly cartoonishly light looks like it should be a lot heavier probably very difficult to machine which is gonna make it all the sweeter to destroy it let's dig right in short again and I can press my back so initial impressions this gun feels like an ar-15 it's extremely light I read the spec sheet it is made out of some very difficult to work with components that are also pretty difficult to pronounce if you're an 8k guy really nice machining no tool marks that I can see here extremely light the sights however leave something to be desired that's alright I gotta fix that there we go much better and I got to say I'm impressed by the amount of eye relief this long rail covers that is very useful much much better ok cool now I can see what I'm a hit well now that we got that taken care of enough with the chitty-chat drop the bloody blat with our space caddy gap first let's grab magazine caliber multi ok well that's perfect all right first failure the magwell is the mills far too small and there seems to be some sort of denial block up front that's milled into the magwell to prevent the front locking tab from fitting in I know it's an AR so maybe they're like five five six a little bit better let's try that all right well this looks a little bit straighter in with the magwell so let's go for it and still too narrow and that denial block is still getting in the way there's no way this is gonna fit it's good as defective what so it turns out we need actually dedicated ar-15 mags I don't know why they wouldn't want mag interchangeability with the AEK but you know hey I didn't design the platform it's like glove not too bad I even went out of my way and picked up the real deal military surplus metal mags pretty hard to come by can't say we didn't go all out for this one couldn't really find two to three anywhere in the shop offhand but I was able to find some - - for which you know two to three two to four it's a thousandth of an inch whatever and it fits in the magazine just fine so give her a shot so one thousandth of an inch matters a lot good news is I was able to go to the local gun store and pick up some two two three aka 556 as ar-15 calm tells me they're completely interchangeable with absolutely no problem let's go to the range so we're out here on the range now I've got some cheap winchester white box and you know kind of like a K is known for its legendary reliability the ar-15 is known to be an absolute geomatic so let's see how many failures we have in this first magazine I'm not going to hold it against it if it can't compete and hang with the big dogs I mean hell even it's very nicely checkered failure button is ready for use so let's go ahead and see what we can do here [Applause] [Applause] I'm on to you so as you can see here we've swapped out from the primary arms advanced microdot as much as I love it we are swapping out to the a CSS reticle this one's made for seven sixty by 39 not five five six but I'll give [ __ ] microdot is great but putting it in the location where it has best eye relief which is very important on ar-15s it precluded me from using the ar-15 in the way it was meant to be run which is the enhanced c-clamp grip like so notice how it allows me to use my thumb for additional positive reinforcement through the optic as i give myself a thumbs up that yes I am indeed hitting my targets this sort of positive reinforcement is very important for the self-esteem of anyone that is running in air 15 but now that we know the gun at least kind of works I've got a test for this thing that I know is going to kill him observe [Music] all right let's shoot it [Applause] cut there's a lot of advantages to the way they've set this gun up one of them being this full-length rail as far as the EM lock and Victini and everything like that gives you a lot of options for mounting optics including some 45 degree optics which is the new thing amongst three Gunners and mostly LARPers but as you can see here I too am a man of culture trained in your LARP arts by Count Lucas himself all right stand by Zach I need to be premiere chat whoa what all right sorry sorry so it's performed pretty well this entire time but now we're gonna put that accuracy test to the test with the AR AR s are known for being accurate we're sitting here at about 200 yards we got a piece of steel set up over there on the berm gonna take some shots didn't really have a good long long-range optic now 200 yards that's a pretty damn long distance for an 8k guy I remembered I still have the u.s. optics b-17 didn't have a mount for it but we got an after that it's worth pointing out that if you're trying to be a super operator and keep it constant C clamp over the top of your scope you can't take your hand off and use the bolt release on the ar-15 so you sometimes have to improvise like so all right I think we're down in let's see what we hit at 200 well you know what they should have been parking on my range anyway maduk so after a little bit of ammo an afternoon of shooting and bill from the glass repair company I do think I'm actually starting to like the v7 AR it's growing on me it's super light the materials are really neat then machined it out of well balanced and you know what I think I finally put the icing on the cake and I have a perfect optic setup to where I can run it like an AR but if I miss the a K too much I can get the nice chin well of a good old-fashioned under folder I think this is what progress looks like but anyway guys thank you for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it I hope it was dumb enough for you guys there was enough humor to you know at least make you chuckle it a couple dad jokes thanks again to v7 for trusting us with this gun and trusting us not to you know throw it in a river or some [ __ ] actually no no we're not doing that anyways thank you guys for watching as always and I will see you sexy YouTube mother lovers on Monday if I don't see you saturday at the massive AR yard sale in Myrtle Beach I'm 14 please help me come get out of that thank you guys see you Monday [Music] she ain't going nowhere they allowed you to improvise [ __ ] ah damn I need to do it harder thank you again for vr-2 v7
