Trying to Name All 151 Original Pokemon from Memory

okay so there's a 15-minute timer on this ellen but we're not doing this to time out it's all ready let's do it what we're doing is already too hard yes so we're not gonna make it why have we signed ourselves up why did we agree to do this luke we had a we had a plan that the day before we did this we would each be allowed to look at a grid of all 151 original pokemon yeah just so that the next day but i forgot well i thought i thought we were filming something else and so i was like oh oh we're doing that one but all the days meld into each other luke yes i mean you know the days meld into each other because we're at a point where we're like should we try and name all 151 platforms will that be faintly amusing to us okay okay so basically you can pause this so we're going to have to like go in in short bursts right it's like go in shout names so how do you want to do this should we should we just click play and just just shout just shout names at me and maybe we'll just do that this one because i've used it so much in um vile plume was in my original six in my squad that's good which actually while i'm also here lapras did i already do do we already do toros because let's do this really drives home to me is quite how many pokemon have not become beloved what stands out to me is the 60 to 68 huge swathe that we've that we haven't got mm-hmm oh did we do the we did let's do clear john you haven't looked at a master list i am not looking at a master list i'm trying to come in as secondary help you've both got all of these 151 in there somewhere they're all in there just village of pikachu's there's one where they battle misty misty's got us starmie and a staryu and yet um oh i've got a good clue for you then you've already said your ghosts what are goose goat ghosts what are ghosts good against no um normal no i don't know normal psychic do you think i am john some kind of pokemon nerd i could just feel like the pokemon fans being like come on yeah well i mean look this video is for nobody because if you're really into pokemon you'll find this really frustrating and you'll just be screaming at the screen and if you're not into pokemon there's no reason to because that's inevitably we've got jigglypuff like it's not gonna be like oh i didn't know that one it's either gonna be i had no i've not heard of that one how has anyone remembered that or it's gonna be oh my god my brain is smith my brain is pulling me towards ryhorn and rydon and i think it's trying to tell me something that there's another just like big brawny sort of sort of pokemon that maybe we've overlooked but but then maybe not maybe it's so small maybe it's like an ant or a or a it could easily be bug they're so forgettable what's the mushroom one mushroom one yeah that's it parasect ah yes and there's another one there's another one oh my god yes paris and paris paris and paris yes well done i was like left in between venetta or dish like that's great work john great well done john well you got the names yes but you pictured it once you picture it that's most of the battle over yeah one whatever 127 is it's a pokemon we say that's most of the battle and then we got magnaton took ages yes but we knew we knew we knew it existed this one one two seven i'm convinced that it'll be something that none of us have even thought of yet we haven't remembered it unless i can't remember what my original six were oh that's a bit sad i can only remember i can remember three of them but i can't remember which some of these were some of these were so precious to me i now number one relief that we're done and we don't have to do this anymore number two frustration that that that we that we couldn't just get it with no clues yes especially when we were going through animals and i said dung beetle i know how did i not like it's it's a beetle that should have that should have i wish i'd got it i wish we'd i wish you remembered it without any clues at all yeah but you did an amazing job ellen getting there from fierce looking i just suddenly remembered because its mouth is like a hole isn't it can i give you can i give you the red and blue pokedex entry go on go for it if it fails to crush the victim in its pincers it will swing it around and toss it hard why is that funny nothing no no it's fine it's fine i mean why do you think i wanted to read it like we said before this video was for no one no what i will say i actually had a great time doing this it was fun i feel like we should she was frustrating at the end but she should do this again in a year's time i think we'll find it just as hard i'm very pleased that you got pincer with only three clues and it was it was weird it was weird syllables two syllables angry yep that was it they were there we just needed to get them out well done you had three people what an amazing three people who know who who are familiar with the pokemon series straining to remember and no and none of us could
