a good avocado toast um and like i love waffles i love fruit i i'd like to be healthy and say avocado toast or fruit but my heart says pancakes okay um if i if i could just eat pancakes remember that really old episode of sabrina in the original series like where she like finds out that her family can't stop eating pancakes yep that's me yeah oh yeah yeah well because you mentioned sabrina i now have that um shake your whammy fan if i'm stuck in my head for the rest of the [Music] the in universe pop song kids ask your parents about shake your whammy fanny funky song funky song um yeah uh i the thing is with pancakes every time i order pancakes i can never finish them um i just find i feel like they just expand in my stomach yeah um so i'm gonna go i'm pescatarian so i can't have the bacon i'm gonna go waffles i'm clicking waffles i'm committing i'm going pancakes which one would you rather drink coke mmm orange juice coffee beer water or green tea okay i feel judged because there's only one alcoholic option on here and that's my most favorite thing to drink but i um not coffee coffee's like something i need not something i enjoy yeah also you shouldn't drink too much coffee because it'll make you need to go to the bathroom a lot yeah same with coke actually because i think it's the caffeine but it's the big thing makes you need to go to the bathroom a lot the danger is real um well okay we can rule out green tea i can rule out coke because i drink exclusively diet coke and that's not an option and i hate regular coke i love diet coke water i mean obviously like if it was if the question was what's the if you could only drink one for the rest of your life i'd pick water probably yeah um so that i live for me it's between orange juice and beer where are you at yeah um like i like beer but only very specific ones so like i have like three beers that i actually like um and well a few more than that but most of them are like fruit flavored ones not like kind of your classic beer um yeah i mean i only like i i basically only like light fizzy lager when it comes to beer and and i like a i like a stout as well like a guinness guinness but like anything else any anything in between i can't i don't like ipa it's just like one or the other i'm i'm very a light lug like um i like a sam adams oh yeah that's like i'm like oh yeah i can drink that yeah that's tasty it's just like anything that's too hoppy just yeah anything that just tastes really bitter yeah yeah gross um i love orange juice it's my favorite juice um i love orange juice with gin um yeah you can use it as a mixer that is a point that's one of my favorite evening drinks like if you had juice gin and juice you're still having the juice so i'm gonna go orange juice i'm gonna orange juice because i can drink it all day and just stick the gin in uh once we're past the yard arm yeah it is good i i think i would probably have to agree with you because i i like it i have to i've got weird i've got weird kidneys so i have to drink less of certain things like coke coffee alcohol so i i i know what it's like to have to drink a lot of water and it's really boring and again tea is also still not great like if there was like a a regular tea or an infusion great but like green tea is the least exciting of the teas so i think i'm gonna have to go for an orange juice as well okay right right which would you rather have for lunch oh pizza lunch steak lunch pasta chicken nuggets or chicken nuggies as most people on the internet get those nugs um people who can't deal with life if they want to call them chicken nuggies that's fine salad or sushi um okay the complicating factor with this one is lunch because these are most of these look to me like dinner foods yeah but you ca i've been on like a work a fancy work lunch when i used to like work in marketing and then someone would have a steak because the you know the office is paying as soon as one person has a stake queue like everyone is oh yeah i hadn't even considered oh do you think the stake here is good if you're going for it wouldn't it be fun if we all got the stake that's the way you do it that's the way you that that's the way you play it um uh i guess not salad pasta is a good i actually had pasta for lunch today um and it was so so slightly screwed it up um i love pizza of these the most sushi i'm going sushi as well i love sushi for lunch it's perfect i mean i would eat it all the time if i could i've clicked sushi i've committed all right which dessert would you rather eat cake chocolate muffins ice cream apple pie or brownies oh i'm enjoying the sun i apologize to anyone with headphones on right now because i'm experiencing that yep just experiencing my realistic brownie chomping sound effects um okay cake chocolate muffins ice cream apple pie brownies um i can rule out muffins and apple pie because although i like them there's no way they can compete with the others that the problem i'm having is that that cake doesn't look very nice to me it looks like it's got a big watch of jelly in it it doesn't smell like a trifle that yeah that is definitely a trifle that they've used as a picture yeah like these are just like stock images that people find on buzzfeed yeah and that's cooking chocolate like if that was a twix it would be game over i wouldn't have a chocolate bar as dessert though i would have a chocolate based dessert like a chocolate brownie yeah um i think it's you know what maybe it's just because it's so hot today but i'm i'm looking at the ice cream it's the ice cream i want well the thing is the ice cream i think is the most there's most variation and also ice cream is something you can always have alongside another dessert yes so like yes the best thing to have is like uh in the in the old tga tgi fridays menu there was like a chocolate fudge cake that they would sort of warm up and then you'd get a scoop of ice cream the ice cream made it because you'd have the coldness of the ice cream with the deliciousness of the cake that sounds great my favorite dessert probably is well i like eating mess that's my favorite dessert number two in the list is is like a hot sticky toffee pudding with some vanilla ice cream on top i'm getting ice cream yeah i'm gonna go ice cream as well i think we're just we're gonna get the same the same answer so i'll i'll feel very silly wine is my favorite yeah i have one christmas yeah um like why wine is generally what i you know like i love all these spirits they all have a they all have their place but wine is what i am usually drinking if i'm drinking of an evening it's a it's a it's a nice bottle of uh wine preferably in new zealand sauvignon blanc but i'm not too fussy as long as it's dry it's got to be dry it's got to be dry it's got to be cold it's going to be white wine not a big red wine fan oh no you might like a pinot noir though that's why yeah you think of it and you we agreed that that's like the only good red wine like the other one i mean we drank it so [Laughter] um yeah i love yeah i'm gonna go yeah i'm gonna go wine just looking at that picture of wine there is making my favorite drinks oh an old fashioned now that well that's what don draper drinks in mad men i think right yeah i think he does um it's it's so uh it it's so delicious and it's good because it's it's a drink that you can like sip slowly um whereas with the g and t well g t i i can sleep slowly it took me not until i was like 25 26 till i actually liked gin and tonic um and i discovered it was just because i didn't like the the big branded gin that was everywhere and i liked the fancy expensive gin so i was like oh great expensive taste so yeah yeah um let lesser the gordon's more of a hendrix but uh whiskey eddie bourbon like i go in someone like could i have a jd and coke and they're like oh we have we have this other one i'm like i don't care as long as it's smoky and delicious i will superpowers is if you got a superpower 100 yeah you'd be dissected by nasa or the cia or or the fbi i know that nasa is not like the cia or the fbi but someone's dissecting you for definite yeah even if it's not a very amazing superpower you would get dissected yeah yeah well the thing is with the shape-shifting thing i could just change whatever i look like and they wouldn't yes find me of course whereas you would just have to like stretch i'd be hard to dissect being all stretchy they'd like put the scalpel in and it would just like keep the scalp would just keep going having trouble i would say from the operation like a really weird luke cage like they can't cut it yeah well good good choices i think we both made good choices there so the next one which color matches your mood ah okay now what's interesting here is that this is matches your mood my favorite color is blue but a blue mood is quite sad and i feel like generally i'm not super sad all the time so same with like black like a black mood is like grumpy you know no just like really emo yeah like if i was that one then 15 taking it i would have been like black like myself yeah i'm gonna go for um pink pink because uh it's a very intense color and i feel like whatever mood i'm in it's kind of like dialed up to 11. like i don't have i don't have enough mild moods color and you're a very warm person i would say and is the same color as my insides so you know if you like if when they dissect me and they spread me all out i am majority a pink sort of pinkish color i'm going pink why is seafoam green seafoam green i know like everything else is so like one red yellow blue black it's making me want to go for that yeah because i'm like oh yeah like just floating in the sea right now i would love to be in the ocean somewhere in the sea just floating just not melting ugh great on holiday last week i swam in the sea and it was freezing cold and in ordinary circumstances i'd put my foot in and gone too cold but after but after like you know i don't know how many how many months it was since i was last immersed in a body of water and i was just like i just need this very bad and oh it might it was it was incredibly pleasant yeah i i lived by the north sea for four years and i paddled in it once and was like lol no it was an extremely warm day um yeah well so yeah when i was in next to the sea it was between september and may so the coldest ah of course of course turn time um yeah so what are you going for ellen i think i'm gonna go for i try to have a sunny disposition i think you succeed not alert right what's your favorite class oh god none of them um right okay art art shop biology physics english or gym jim okay well not gym physics or biology or woodshop actually i mean we don't really have like wood shop in the uk but we have things like it um we had a thing in school called like i think it was called dt design design technology i think it was the same kind of thing it's like making simple things it's just that they they put it all together so it wasn't just like sewing in one lesson and woodworking the other you do them both yes yes yes yes yes um i did actually quite like it um felt good at the end to have like to have made something with your hands you know storing wood is like super satisfying oh absolutely also like we had um uh oh like we you know like what i can't remember what it's got one thing i want to say it's called a jigsaw not like a jigsaw puzzle but you know the one that's like a little metal thing and it goes like yeah yeah yeah yeah and you move the woods yeah i loved doing that like getting getting a smooth curve on that oh that was good that was really satisfying yeah uh well but then i mean english was my actual favorite class uh i like reading i like writing english english was always the class that i never had to really think or worry about which i really appreciated because you know i was like kind of baseline good enough at it that i sort of didn't find it too tricky at any point whereas all of these other subjects have given me a massive headache at some point in my life wood shop because of the fumes i inhaled yeah what do you think well for me as much as i love art and english as like in and of themselves when i was at school i kind of dreaded them a little bit because in english i i didn't always like write exactly what the examiner wanted uh it was that it was because it was a slightly more subjective subject um when it came to exams i kind of was like oh i don't know like by the time i left uni i knew how to write an essay really easy rule of three do all that i know what i'm doing uh but when i was i i was far less sure of myself so in school i actually didn't like english that much i loved my teachers my teaching english teachers were always fantastic but i had no confidence in myself art i felt like i never did what the teach teachers wanted so a lot i think a lot of art students will probably uh resonate with this thing of like they want to draw a certain style of art and then their art teacher is like do you really want to keep drawing that stuff so there's a little bit of a stigma around artists and art students i had that with art anime stuff like anything like that like you try something a different particular art style if the teacher didn't like it that was it one of our teachers was obsessed with the color yellow ochre so if you didn't have yellow ochre in this statue that's fine actually you're making me remember that like when i did art um like yeah but the art teacher never liked anything in retrospect that's because mostly what i wanted to do was um lame no but like the point of art is you should be able to do a little bit of what you want and i agree i quite agree i would put hours of work into a drawing or whatever and like i'd hand it in and i'm like this is we did a piece that like really expressed ourselves and it was about us and then when i didn't get like i got an okay mark on it but when i didn't like get the mark that i hoped for on it i was like oh does this mean i'm bad and not interesting because i'm really proud of this and yes i'm afraid so like the um yeah i think uh the thing with art is the way it's taught is they are trying what they're i feel like what they're trying to do or at least i guess this is true when we were at school maybe it's all different now but i feel like the way that what they're trying to do is to teach you about art so like they're trying to teach you art history and they're trying to teach you about specific artists and styles and eras and they're trying to do that through the medium of you doing some art yourself but in fact it's not really useful yeah to know about the different styles of art and artists but it is kind of cool if you are into art to be able to make whatever you want and to like to reach adulthood having made a lot of stuff and then if you're still interested in art you then you can learn about like yeah styles and artists and stuff but i i think that i think what you say is absolutely true that they um that yeah like because you you you kind of want to go off go off and do your own weird projects and they're like well we're supposed to be doing um pointillism here but it wasn't even like just that it was like they were like yeah do what you want and then i did what i wanted and they were like i did not though they were like oh there's too much writing in this it should all be just in drawing and i was like but like i'm i'm trying to like copy logos and things now you can't copy a logo ellen that's that's the legal thing they were probably stepping in to keep you out of print it was like banned logos it was like here is a band i like even worse [Laughter] um yeah no for me uh can you can you imagine i'm completely on your side but can you imagine like you're a teacher and all the kids are just like i mean like the equivalent now would be like everyone's art is like fortnight things or it would be like here's my fortnite character yeah i know i get it but like it's it was just like a it's just that thing where you draw something that you're really proud of and then you get like a b on it and then you're like okay well it's not as good as everyone else's then as all the people who got a's okay and when you see that all the a's look like the same style you're like okay this is what the teacher likes okay well so the important thing is ellen is that you haven't given it a second thought so that no it's like that you haven't nursed those well the thing is that i think it's because i wish i'd done like art as a gcse but i didn't because i was so scared that i would get a bad mark for it yeah yeah i regret that that's the that's the school's in like bananas focus on grades good good grades you have got to get the grade average for the year right hang on we're supposed to be talking about smash brothers i'm going for english choosing english okay well biology is one that i always wish i'd carried on for a level and didn't and i kind of regret i really enjoyed biology physics i did to as level and i wasn't brilliant at as i kind of fell through i am actually thinking i'm gonna have to say jim okay i i really enjoyed pe i was kind of good at it and i i like playing football and also we had badminton which is like one of the most fun sports badminton is a lot of fun yeah it was also the most important thing about badminton is you're not on a team what if you play doubles oh no count me out well next one what do you pretty accessible i like peach but i find her tricky um snake i've never tried roy i think i have at least i would get an idea very quickly of how to play as him because i'm so quick like i like the fire emblem characters they're quite good i'm gonna go for peach because it cracks me up how uh her block move is pulling out a toad and making the toes get hit yeah like she's got a parasol also whenever you've got anything yeah i always go for peach in every game so i've got it i've got to go peach really yeah yeah yeah oh okay right next one jigglypuff diddy kong or ganondorf well jigglypuff has that like unbelievably powerful sleep move that if you happen to be like on the same pixel as jigglypuff is like an instant ko diddy kong's pretty fun to play as um really big jumps really good recovery which is important uh ganondorf is so strong and powerful but obviously quite slow mm-hmm i'm not good with the slower characters i i think have to go [Music] yeah i think that's not committing um i'm gonna go ganondorf okay okay because when you play as ganondorf and you're doing well the crowd chants for your name but when you're ganondorf they chant it like like they're sort of like they've been magically enslaved or something that's good okay pick a fighter mewtwo bowser jr or bowser well ellen you should probably pick bowser right because yeah i got him in the yeah i'm gonna go for that yeah it told me so i'm gonna go for mewtwo i really like me too um i'm scared of mewtwo because um mewtwo holds like so much emotional power over me because i was so um nervous catching mewtwo in pokemon red in the 90s because i used my master ball on arctic uno which is um the first legendary bird you come across so i had to catch mewtwo the old fashioned yes uh yeah so mewtwo for me okay okay next up ike i am yeah uh king dede um ddd even sorry and little mac um i know you you've used little mac haven't you yeah little mac is real andy likes playing his little mac little mac is so fast incredibly like fast moving uh across the the thing um so i'm gonna go for little mac okay okay let's head on to the next one pichu which way which did which you went for ike i went for ike oh this next one's tough yeah i know who it won't be [Music] hey come on no it's from um pichu rob or rosalina and luma look at rob's pose that is not a pose that says select me is it yeah yeah that's like trying way too hard um i mean rosalina's got good hair yeah and a star friend little loomer i i've never really played as rosalina i should try her i'm gonna try i played as pichu and i didn't get on well because yeah i just didn't sometimes like some don't click some don't click uh so i'm gonna go for rosalina what about you um i'm gonna go for pichu i like the way that pichu's moves hurt itself endearing but there is there is a pretty good trade-off combat wise um yeah i like playing as pichu yeah yeah also small enough that often you can like you you are hard to see amongst items and other things like a stealthy attack oh okay just seen the next one all right pikachu samus or sonic the hedgehog oh sonic thank you for trying bless you for even thinking [Laughter] that you're gonna be picked in this lineup of three yeah uh well i want samus i do as well oh well um no no we can pick the same oh yeah of course we can uh yeah okay cool all right um sorry of course we can why do i think we couldn't um yeah i love samus uh i love the metroid games but i really like samus as a character silent cool badass space bounty hunter that's awesome yeah um yeah samus she she's just got such cool moves yeah yeah that charge up attack that's really good she's also a character there are some characters that are really fun to watch like some you don't know what they're doing but with samus like you can sort of follow like yeah it gives it absolutely gives a little bit of an advantage to your enemies sometimes but like when you're just watching the game it's easier to follow samus round yeah samus hits hard as well like you're quite slow and floaty like you say um also the samus's up and b is really good like if you can catch a an enemy in that like the electrifying sort of thing that is that's a really irritating move to be got by yeah so and i think most of smash brothers happens in it is a mind battle yeah so i just so like if you can annoy your opponent i think that's um that's a powerful thing yes yeah all right samus samus so next one is villager wario or we fit trainer uh you know what i've never ever played as villager i never played any of these i have my favorites and i'm like i've got like six that i'm like i'm choosing these wario has a motorbike in the game that's pretty cool and then you can throw the motorbike at someone which is pretty much the most like angry badass thing to ride in on a motorbike get off that motorbike turn around pick up the motorbike hit someone with the motorbike that's there's something to be said for it also he's wearing pink trousers which is a strong look i admire yeah with the um with the like denim the denim carved jacket yeah that's that's cool that's good oreo is cool i never really thought about yeah oreos how cool wario is before it's because so much of the promotional material of wario is him farting yeah which really undercuts his kind of coolness yeah um i think i'm probably going to go for villager though just because i i haven't scrolled down i don't know if isabel is going to be in this but obviously i'm completely obsessed with animal crossing now since maximum same same it's got to be villager yeah okay i know that the wii fit trainer is one of the harder ones to play as as well yeah just not not i don't find them very interesting to play as but maybe it's maybe it maybe they're like tier one if you yeah if you know what you're doing oh this next one's easy for me anyway oh my goodness yoshi young link or zelda bloody zelda absolutely magnificent fighter i love playing a zelda little tiny link he's not my first choice is breath of the wild link but young link is also good if i can't have breath of the wild link links um bombs uh so smash brothers sorry um breath of the wild link when you throw the bombs you have to detonate them manually don't you yeah which can be useful but i find that it's usually too much to think about yeah it's that extra step that you're like i just need to throw this to get this person off me yeah um oh man this is really making me want to play smash brother i haven't played smash bros maybe we should do do some more of the um online online co-op i wonder if we could um i wonder if we can like remotely we'll look into it afterwards but i should do some smash brothers online stuff um yeah oh my goodness love it okay okay pick a fighter crum daisy or donkey kong um well i don't even know what a crom is i hope i'm saying that name right fire emblem fans um i think i have actually played as him again if it's if they've got a sword i'm like yep i'll play as that person because i know in video games how that works is it i think it's chrom i can sort of hear the announcer do it when you select them i think yeah um okay uh why don't we go for donkey kong donkey kong is cool to play at his cool ground pound attack and has a nice tie and um a good recovery move and he's got your hair and he's got my hair when it's up we should we should give it back it's with his banana horde right next up oh it's tough one oh my word this is the hardest choice of all inkling isabelle or ridley oh gosh that's tough well oh man okay well i've already got inkling as a result so and i love playing as inkling i love playing as inkling but isabelle is isabelle from animal crossing with the sweet little arms that just do do do circles at the end i know which i'm going for the thing with ridley is ridley is incredibly powerful including sorry ridley new for smash bros ultimate is a really strong character really good really hard to fight against these are really massive all the new ones all the new ones um yes you're right you're so right well i'm going for inkling well three of the new ones i'm going for inkling as well because i just enjoy painting everyone and then like disappearing from it yeah it is really good also it's a really good save but there's a bell though oh luke jane always plays isabelle yeah shane doesn't play smash brothers very much she's got a good say her and inkling both have good uh kind of back in off the jump backs i can't remember what the what's the what's the smash term for when you have to jump back into the arena with so that you don't fall off the edge um recovery recovery that's it that's it i was like there's a word they use a particular word for it so yeah they've both got good recoveries uh because the inkling you turn into a little squid and you're like whew and you can get back in quite easily and then isabelle's got the little kind of swing seat thing yeah so like they're good if you're quite new and you get knocked off the side a lot so okay are we ready to move on to the next which one did you go for in the end i went for inkling okay okay so next one is me gunner me sword fighter oh god none uh what the hell these are the most boringest ones these are the boring it's your fighting style isn't it yes i suppose so um yes you're right it is so so in fact this really gets to the core um i'm gonna go for me brawler because my smash brothers play style is all about um sprint sprinting a attacks so yeah just just like running into them hitting them hard charging up a move i don't really mess around with the sort of smash moves too much i just like to sort of just hit hit hard yeah um no ranged stuff or not much yeah brawler me brawler i'm i'm a sword fighter if i can swing a huge sword at them then that's it right oh pick a fighter richter belmont toon link or charizard [Music] charizard is like one of my favorite pokemon but it's not fun to play as in in my opinion in smash bros um so i'm gonna go for richter i really like i really like the castlevania the castlevanias they i that the whips are just so good yeah um so as much as i like to link i think i'm gonna have to go for a belmont as well mm-hmm yeah i think so it's a netflix castlevania series oh my goodness yes i'm so obsessed with that series i love it i love it i love it yeah okay cloud dark pit or dr mario not a compelling lineup really well not dr mario because just just play as mario you know i mean okay i forgot i forgot how much you love dr mario i know i like dr mario it's it's but it's dark pit look how cool he looks okay dark pit is pretty awesome also dark pit can like fly a whole lot um i believe that cloud is basically broken in terms of how powerful he is as a fighter whenever i like look at the tier lists and stuff um i'm pretty sure cloud is like and when you go online yeah it's like just a lot of clouds like an endless wave of cloud saves yeah um i so i'm gonna go for cloud yeah um because i do like playing as cloud and also a bit like with isabel since smash bros ultimate came out yeah i have got really in i did play the final fantasy 7 remake my first final fantasy game and so i i am kind of into cloud now cloud is good i enjoy i've played a little bit of like final fantasies with him in uh but my biggest experience with him now is in uh kingdom hearts so yeah i've beaten up cloud so uh it's pretty big claim so next one falco no ivysaur or ken i like none of these in terms of no player style um watching other people play i think falco yeah falco's pretty quick too much like riverly for me from breath of the wild so that's a barrier ken is pretty good ken's pretty solid ivysaur is actually pretty fun because he's got like the vine whip true true i've just these are just not my strengths when it comes to no just give me a sword and shield and i'm good i'm going to go
